Why waste the manpower when I could complete your Jesus cosplay right fucking now? I had the knives for a makeshift crucifixion and everything.” 

Thank god she can’t remember any of the times Jinpachi had given her the time of day as a volunteer while she was a patient here, or hearing him say he adored her would make her cringe three times as hard as she already is. It’s disgusting. He loves her, Hotaru, and Juzo in the same way a magnifying glass loves the ants it sets on fire, and it burns her skin in the same way. 

“If you’re trying to piss me off, it’s already working. You really, really don’t need to go the extra mile by talking about how hard you got your rocks off watching Hotaru die.” 

Her voice is terse and clipped–from the moment she woke up here she knew the Shepherd would be using Hotaru’s memory to try and piss her off, probably attempting to provoke her into attacking and getting herself killed. She swears for a moment that she can hear Hotaru give a little scoff in her head, like a second instinct telling her to wait for the right opportunity to strike. 

Babe, you’ve come too far to let him trip you up at the finish line–you promised me, okay?

“I’m like Juzo-chan, am I? …I guess so. A shitty family that’d shove us in the shadows for their own benefit, a brother that we’d put our necks on a guillotine to protect…oh! But I never told someone that they’re right to kill Tsuneo because he’s not a violent little shit who kills my friends as part of a temper tantrum and drags me around to all these other places to…whatever the fuck your plan was. Indoctrinate a bunch of sick people? Because you did the opposite. We hate you, and your brother hated you.” 

She glances at the yellow one, estimating by stature who he must be, and glares. 

“Oh, and you? I’ve read your perverted little chat logs. Stay the hell away from my little brother or I’ll bust your twiggy kneecaps, you stupid fucking twink.”

Went to King Richards Faire yesterday as Twiggy from critical role. The photographer was suppose to show up for a group photo of the critical role group i was in but never showed. It was still a blast though.

COSPLAY COUTURE HERBIE THE LOVEBUG

I think I drew the design for this costume about a year ago, then just this past weekend I finally got to bring it to life with a beautifully restored Beetle at my side. I can’t thank my collaborators enough for helping me with this project, it couldn’t have happened without you.

The design process was simple, I envisioned Herbie as a youthful and cheeky tomboy, I took elements from 1960’s fashion as well as race car driver uniforms and accessories. I looked at the likes of Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn for inspiration. I knew I needed a round hat to really evoke the shapes of the Volkswagen, and the dress is a simple A-line silhouette, it was best to keep things clean and minimal and let the stripes do all the talking.
