Father and Mother Landitube PNGTubers!

When I was looking to improve my PNGTuber setup, I came across LandiTube. It's very customizable and integrates with SAMMI, so there's a ton of flexibility with what I can do with it. SAMMI is also new to me, so I'm excited to see what I'll be able to do with it! LandiTube also lets you have a bit of sprite squishing when talking and blinking, which took a bit to get used to, but I think it helps from a streaming side. Still playing with that.

Definitely want to add more emotions for Mother and Father, more accessories. My animation skills are minimal but I'm now motivated to at least try, like animating that Mr. Mew appearing for Father. (Mother's will be next!) It's not great, but it's better than having it pop in out of nowhere!

HEY TUYS IM NOT DEAD

so in the last month ive been on holiday and then got sucked into inazuma eleven, since i was alresdy playing it ill give a short summary of what i thought (plus inaxuma eleven 2) and also the anime!!! (though shorter bc i watched it in a dub of a language i barely know) ill try and play all the inazuma eleven 3 games, i only watched the first season of inazuma eleven go tho.

inazuma eleven 1: it was great!!!! unfortunately ive been endeared to bobby shearers. also i thought the erik plotline went nowhere but i was supposed to get him before kirkwood.... the last battle i beat by mere happenstance, whoops!!! i lovedit tho. ALSO someone pls answer this: are zeus like.... genetically modified humans????? cuz it neverr gets answered, ray darks way of speaking was SO VAGUE. like is the research abt the boys or the steroids????

also nellys so cool i love her. the anime was super cool, but i was confused with its 127 eps since i only played the first game so i thought it mightve been like some anime only stuff??? turns out theres more than one inazuma eleven game.

i think the anime adapted the game pretty well, from what i could understand but i thought celia was way meaner abt jude in the game??? idk if its bc she has the “im gonna end ur life” face all the time in that game that made me think that though.... probably since shes like way more "innocent and cute" in the second game (todd ironside is so wrird i HATE HIMM in the first game)

anyway inazuma eleven 2!!!!!

great game, i called shawn shibuya since i didnt know his english name, or his Japanese one for that matter. the reason i chose shibuya was because i played twewy right before seeing him, and he looks like a shibuya.

speaking of which, i had some names for the people i didnt know the names of!! heres a list of the more interesting ones:

victoria: peach (because her name sounded like peach in the localisation)

sue: girl inlove with erik

dvalin: hades (he looked like a hades)

anyway back on task i really liked the girls, even if they got their ass kicked most of the time... like everyone else 😭😭 also jack was so sexist like WHATTT least mark was like yeah u come over here NOW.

the love stuff was cool, i savestated to ge everyones dialogue lol... i think my favs either toris or celias, its hilar that they dont even CONSIDER celia to be gf material 😭😭😭 but thats fine with me, love her. i liked how nathans mental breakdown was done in the anime betterr than the game since he left himself and bot bc he got the shit beat outta him. also SHAWN FROSTE. KIND????? HE CALLED CLOISTER DIVINITY "CLOTH EARED BEGGARS" AND TOLD SOMEONE THAT THEY HAD A FACE ONLY A MOTHER WOULD LOVE FUCK YOU MEAN KIND???? blunts more accurare i think. hes also scottish so i thought hurleyd be welsh since shawn was scottish and hes north uk so i thought west would be welsh... even if that makes no sense. AND SOUNDTOWN IS SO FUNNY like "hed kill the coach to get that key" lmao???? some of the character sprites are.... interestinf!!!! victoria definitely looks better in the anime 😭😭😭

Background:

Born into an abusive and dysfunctional home, Lydia Hasegawa is the sole daughter of parents Yunhei and Naomi Hasegawa. Yunhei was an abusive alcoholic that worked an office job, while her mother was forced to be a housewife, which made her resent Lydia to a degree.

Often ignored by her mother, and subject to abuse at the hands of her father for most of her life, Lydia found herself falling into bad crowds and became involved in drugs, specifically opioids. A year before she was supposed to graduate high school, Lydia stole money from her parents and ran away from home, living on the streets until she turned 18. Lydia would die of an opioid overdose a few months later, in the Subway Underpass.

Although she was displeased by it, Lydia found herself entered into the Reaper’s Game, with her entry fee being to give up her sense of touch, a reflection of how she turned to drugs to feel numb. 

Upon winning her game, she chose to become a reaper, having no desire to live amongst humans ever again and could care less if she was erased from existence. As a Harrier Reaper, she resides around the Subway Underpass mostly, as despite it being where she died, she considers it her safe place.

Name: Sayuri Kiryu (桐生 小百理)

Age: +400

Species: Angel

Position: Metronome

Story:

An angel who wanders the frequencies in order to observe, contain, and resolve complications occurring on the grand metaphysical scale. In other words, she reports and fixes problems in the multiverse’s infrastructure and integrity, ensuring that basic physics permitting dimensional travel and the like are functioning exactly as it should.

As such, in the hierarchy of the Higher Plane, she is considered a Metronome - a rank higher than that of, say, a Producer, but not among the topmost ranks.

She ascended to her current position through a mixture of sharp wit, natural talent, hard work - and a quick and desperate bid to escape her previous position as the Composer of Shibuya, before her son unwittingly succeeds in murdering her.

Personality + Backstory:

Sayuri tends to project the image of a calm and gentle woman with a penchant for dispersing pieces of wisdom. Whether said wisdom is necessary, useful, or even wanted or appropriate is a subjective thing.

Her wise and pleasant behavior, however, hides the fact that she has only been an angel for a handful of years. Prior to her current position, as Composer, she had a much more diabolical personality for (in her perspective) harmless mischief, with a hobby for setting and accomplishing self-made challenges, and all in all was more whimsical in attitude.

That, of course, all came to a very regretful stop when Sayuri made the best and worst decision of her long undead life - which was to get a very promising but ridiculously straitlaced young lawyer to break out of his stuffy shell and appreciate the more chaotic but fun side of life. And though it took a while, she did it! The man became at least a little bit more flexible, was less likely to turn an obnoxious nose at things he didn’t understand, and---fuck, he fell in love with her.

Double fuck, because somehow, even though this started as another silly little challenge for her to play with, Sayuri had fallen in love too. 

And so, very much against her better judgment, Sayuri married the man in a private ceremony and had his child. Even though, at the time, the man was eventually set to have an arranged marriage to a prominent family’s daughter, and Sayuri herself couldn’t possibly stay around to raise her son in either the RG or UG due to issues either plane would have raised.

As such, she had to abandon her child with her husband’s family and pretend to be a runaway mistress. While she watched over her son from the UG, she came to regret her decision as much as her retrospective decision to fall in love and have a child. After all, if she didn’t do any of that, her son wouldn’t have to endure a loveless life and a tainted reputation he didn’t deserve, nor the strange ability to see into the UG---

And he definitely wouldn’t be unwittingly planning to kill and usurp his own mother, after entering the Game when she wasn’t looking.

And while this would have been a great opportunity, to get rid of a loose end that shouldn’t have happened to begin with - Sayuri still cared for him as his mother, though she knew she had no absolutely claim to that title after being such a shitty parent so far. Not wanting him to realize his plan, she made hasty preparations to ascend to the Higher Plane, leaving a vacant seat for Joshua to find and Sayuri with a nagging guilt for always running away from her problems, over properly confronting them.

An Order of Mr. Mews.

These Mews appear in the Mew Roulette in my streams. But we can still ask...Who made these Mews? And for who?

Short story below.

Eri looked at the latest batch of custom Mr. Mews and frowned. Once again, she can't quite remember who ordered these Mews even though she's met the client before. She's certain she has.

"Shiki, you remember who ordered these, right?"

"Yeah, I remember what he looks like. But I don't know much about him."

The client should be someone unforgettable - an outfit so chaotically coordinated and wears too much of a smile for it to be natural - and yet, every time Shiki tries to recall him, her memory of him threatens to vanish into thin air like it has for Eri.

It was unsettling, and Shiki couldn't help but think of the UG and the powers from outside the RG that could be affecting her and Eri's memories. Perhaps, on that alone, she should have refused the request.

The client, aside from dressing rather colorfully, also refused to give a name for the order. When she first asked, he told her she could take as long as she needed. When asked again, he offered to pay more than the original price even if she couldn't complete the whole batch.

But she put her foot down. She wasn't going to fulfill the order without a name. By this point it was setting off so many alarm bells and even though she was tempted to walk away from this, her curiosity pushed her to get a name out of him. Even despite the customizations he requested to the Mews that looked very much like people she knew (and the client), she pressed for a name.

It was going to be a fake name. But something about this man reminded her of someone familiar who she couldn't place at that moment. Someone who, despite being a bit odd, was someone she could trust. Someone who helped her get out of a dangerous situation once before.

(Perhaps that too, should have been another siren blaring, although in hindsight.)

Finally he huffed, crossed his arms and withdrew into his puffy autumn colored patterned jacket. He looked away with a frown and gave her a name.

"Kiryu".

There was once a Composer called - NULL.

Father tells Joshua a story about a foolish Composer and an event that had a terrible price. I don't know when Joshua would hear the story but I put it roughly around NEO as a part of Father trying to fix things with Joshua. (We'll get to the start of that another day. Given the...stunt, Joshua tried to pull at the end of OG TWEWY.)

Musings below.

There is a bit more to this event, but Father is not sharing that information right now. The attack on the Composer was designed to cause damage to the lower planes and the Composer. Because the Composer spent so much time with the Reapers, and taught them a lot about the planes and themself, it gave them the knowledge the needed to actually cause significant damage.

If the attack had succeeded, and they had defeated the Composer, one of them would have become the Composer and still would have had to clean up their own mess. But at least it would have been a functioning Composer to handle it.

But instead, they didn't, so the region was felt was a partially functioning Composer, unable to help out or transfer their power over to someone who could. Luckily all Reapers had the same training, so they were able to fix things eventually, but not without losses.

Now that knowledge about the planes and the Composer's abilities is not openly shared, so if something similar were to happen to a Composer again, the same damage won't - shouldn't - be possible.

And one more fun fact about the story - Father was there...as a Reaper. Perhaps Joshua will get to learn that, and more details about those events.

I thought about having the skeletal bits staying hidden inside the feathers but Father doesn't care. If he's showing his wings you've earned some trust or whatever but in this case it's trouble.

I haven't quite decided on his wing design but it's a start. Mother's I think will look like what they did in this Composer Neku comic. Father's are inspired by the Jellyfish Noise, so long arm bits that I debated having them all connect, or leave them oddly disjointed like this.

Two original ideas for this: Hanekoma and Minamimoto are playing with kitties while Joshua and Coco, uh "bond", over current and previous kitty misfortunes.

The other was Father playing with a kitty while watching Hanekoma and Mother's kitty experiences. He says "Very cute" and it's an exercise to everyone (including Father) what that's in regard to. (There's one(?) wrong answer.)

Hazuki was not in either original plan so he's a surprise addition but is involved in the AU and Family so he's here too!

Made with LandiTube and SAMMI. I have a Mew Toggle button on my board. I love it. It randomly pulls from all the Mr. Mews that I have and Haz is very lucky, apparently. Chat will also be able to trigger this too.

I made flipped hair versions of Haz and Joshua because what I might eventually do is depending on the orientation, pick the one with correct orientation, since for my current VTuber position, it's actually flipped. I like having them on the left side, so they face right, so normally, the Mews will be flipped around. Either way it creates even more Mews to pull from. (Yay???)

Mother also has an asymmetric design, but hers is minor enough (hair, vest, jacket) that I don't know if I'll do that for her model.
