Even if there’s a heat wave, ramen is always a good idea. @umamido_switzerland is a small ramen shop making their own noodles and tonkotsu broth. • We started off with some gyozas - crispy on one side and steamed on the other chicken-filled dumplings plus their kimchi pork bun which was a perfectly steamed bao stuffed with crispy grilled pork belly, pickled cucumbers and spicy kimchi. We had these with their homemade yuzu lemonade and homemade iced hojicha. • For our main course, we had the classic lighter miso tonkotsu ramen and their creamier richer mayu (burnt garlic oil) tonkotsu ramen, to which I added a slice of their extra thick grilled pork belly.
