there was a whole book written based off one bunk study- the rapid onset gender dysphoria study, which has been disproven and distrusted by most medical associations- and the book is called “irriversible the transgender craze seducing our daughters”. i read the whole thing- it sights zucker, a conversion therapist, often. it also misuses the source “crazy like us”, which ive also read, and the book doesn’t mention anything about gender identity. its full of shit, but matt walsh took it and ran with it.

theres a reason lots of kids develop gender dysphoria around 10-14 and its not because its a social contagion but its because puberty is really fucking distressing when you’re trans, and thats when it becomes too much to handle.
