TVD S7 Thoughts

Ok so I binge-watched S7 in like three days and I have thoughts, I wanna talk about it

Lily OMG ughhhh, just...did not like her. Imagine being Damon and Stefan - you think your mom dies, oops she's actually a vampire. She becomes a ripper, goes on a ripper binge through Europe and in the meantime finds a whole new family.

I too would be pissed if my mom abandoned me and then had other children and never looked for me again. I know she did visit them once in the beginning and the bloodlust scared her away but like, she could've tried again some time after that or something.

The Heretics annoyed the hell out of me. Most of them were useless and died quickly (Malcolm, Oscar). Beau does nothing really. It's mostly the female Heretics who have the spotlight.

Valerie was sooo...idk weird to me? Her being Stefan's first and getting pregnant and then Julian beating her until she lost the baby was wild I did not see that coming. And I think she was fine as a long-lost love, but her relationship with Stefan in the present timeline did nothing for me.

She was obviously insecure about Caroline and Stefan. She was stuck in the prison world for over a century but did she really think she and Stefan would just be able to get back together? Idk. She did help with birthing the twins so that was nice of her.

Mary Lou and Nora annoyed me so much in the beginning but I grew to like them by the end and I did feel bad for them when that exploded in that car

The time skips and flash-forwards were confusing and annoying and I didn't like them at all idk why they did them

Enzo my love! I like him better this season. Love the new hair lol.

He and Bonnie were cute. I like the progress Bonnie made through the show of her hating vampires and now she's dating one lol

Reyna Cruz, where do I begin? No offense to the actress but I feel like they should've gotten someone a bit more muscular? A bit taller or bigger? I know she has superhuman strength and all but she was not scary whatsoever. But apparently, even Klaus was afraid of her so what do I know?

Caroline and Alaric....uhmmm yeah...that was a thing that happened. Did he really need to propose to her? I know it makes raising the kids easier but like c'mon. Ric falling in love with Caroline was just yucky!

Matt suddenly being so anti-vampire makes no sense but also makes total sense? On one hand, it's like, dude you've been helping them and have been friends with them for years, and now all of a sudden you are against them.

On the other hand, I guess you can say it was boiling inside Matt for a while and it all came to the surface. Also, did the writers really need to have him kill his own fiance? That was so cruel like damn!

Another thing on Enzo, his thing with Lily was soooo...like why? I just- I- NO! I can't put it into words how much it weirded me out.

Julian, hmmm. It seemed like he actually did care for the heretics so that was nice. Also, I have to say, wonderful acting. Idk who played him but I really enjoyed his performance.

I did enjoy seeing Klaus even if for a few minutes. I also watched the crossover ep of TO where Stefan is in New Orleans. Did I know what was going on? No, not really, but I like that Stefan did a little side quest lol. Not Hayley remembering she snapped Caroline's neck once lmao

Love that Stefan got to meet Freya and Marcel that was so cool.

I just remembered the Armory, I don't know what to say. I know the Sirens were in that vault, so I guess that's in the next season? I wonder how ridiculous s8 will be?

Overall, felt very meh about it. I still think that S 1-3 are superior and everything after that went downhill. But it was still better than S5.

En janvier la saga "Twilight"

L'histoire de Bella humaine amoureuse du mystérieux vampire Edward Cullen mais attirée également par le fidèle loup-garou Jacob Black.

Puis en septembre, sort la série "The Vampire Diaries"

L'histoire d'Elena humaine tiraillée entre les deux Frères vampires fou amoureux d'elle Stefan et Damon Salvatore.

Lequel préférez-vous ?

On les compare pire on parle de remake, mais à part le triangle amoureux rien n'est pareil.

Les similitudes:

- Bella et Elena sont tout deux humaine et lycéenne quand elles rencontre le vampire de leur rêve.

- Elles se transforment également en vampire toute les deux par la suite.

- Elles sont toute deux prise dans un triangle amoureux.

Les différences:

- dans Twilight, Bella ne connaît personne dans son lycée, elle s'en fait de passage que l'on voit rarement, dans TVD, Elena est à sa deuxième année de Lycée et a ses deux meilleures amies Bonnie et Caroline ainsi que son ex petit-ami Matt.

- dans Twilight, Bella est fille unique et vit avec son père, sa mère s'étant remarié, dans TVD, Elena a un frère, ils ont perdu leur parents dans un accident de voiture.

- Edward et Bella ont un bébé alors que les vampires de TVD ne peuvent pas du tout en avoir même avec des humains.

- dans TVD, si un loup-garou mord un vampire, celui-ci est condamné à mourir, dans Twilight non, sauf si la morsure lui est fatale.

- dans Twilight, l'amour que porte Edward à Bella est intense mais nouveau, il n'avait jamais ressenti cela, dans TVD, les frères Salvatore ont déjà aimé la même femme un siècle plus tôt puisqu' Elena est un doppelgänger de Katerina.

Enfin, dans Twilight, Bella n'aura été amoureuse que d'Edward puisque l'attirance qu'elle a pour Jacob est un leurre, quant au concerné il l'a bel et bien aimé mais pas autant que le vampire l'aime, de plus, depuis l'arrivée de leur enfant Renesmée, le jeune loup n'a plus d'yeux que pour elle et a très vite oublié Bella tout comme elle lors de sa transformation en vampire.

Dans The Vampire Diaries, les deux frères Salvatore vont l'aimer jusqu'à la fin.

J'aime les trois, même si j'ai une préférence pour "The Vampire Diaries" qui aborde plus de sujets et qui est plus dense.

Tout ne tourne pas qu'autour de l'histoire d'amour.

Pour la suite de Buffy, il y a Angel.

Pour la suite de Twilight, il y a le livre "Midnight Sun" tome 6 de la saga.

Pour une suite de TVD, il y a The Originals et Legacies.

But Emery was a daddy’s girl at heart, and no one ever could stop her from getting to Beau. Your body tensed as Beau crouched down to scoop her into his arms. You could feel the shock in the group around you. Could hear the whispers of “Daddy?” And “What the fuck”. That last one came from Rooster you knew. Emerys voice cut threw the panic though “Mommy! Look Daddys here!” 

Beau looked at you and even with his sunglasses on you knew he was looking at you with sympathy. He knew this isn’t how you wanted anything to come out, but life was pretty cruel. “The better question is why you’re here little lady.. Why aren’t you at school?” Beau asked as you got closer to him, having broken away from the group. You answered and told him it was canceled, trying to ignore the glare Maverick was giving you as you stepped next to your little family.

AS IT WAS:

life isn’t much of anything when you’re the middle of 11 kids. on the farm it was early to rise and early to bed, everyone had a chore and unfortunately doris, the eldest of the kids, was given childcare duty more often than not. but the perk of being the middle of 11, is the ability to disappear. her father only cared about three (four) things; god, farm, family, whiskey. her mother followed a similar path and well...granny jo wasn’t the best idol according to her mother. and so ida decided to carve her own way in the world. 

you see, the thing about being number six of eleven means you get exactly zero attention. and so you go seeking your attention elsewhere. and ida found that attention in the arms of bobby perkins. she was fourteen, him seventeen, and ida was smitten from day one. he talked her up, picked her up at the bonfires when she snuck out of the house, and promised that he would take her away from eastern tennessee. and then she graduated at 17 (a year early because to everyone’s surprise ida was actually quite intelligent), and took her to the majestic land that was florida. 

living in a trailer park as bobby developed a bit of a following with his promise of love and freedom, and god-fearing community, ida realized just how much she liked the spotlight. she liked when people fawned over her, when they showered her with affection, and when they believed the words that left her mouth. it was easy work for her, talking to people, making them feel heard, inviting them in to the group. this was what she was made for. 

but bobby didn’t like it. he didn’t like that others started to love ida more than him, that she would say something in opposition to him. always sweetly, always veiled as compliments and adoration for him. and so he came up with the plan to dump her, to leave her stranded, to get her away from his life, his goals. 

and then suddenly ida was back on her parents front porch, saying she’d been accepted at ogden with a full ride, that bobby was still in florida and she had no idea what happened to him. and then she kissed her mother and father goodbye and moved to new hampshire for her future. 

AS IT IS:

starting college as a freshman at twenty came with a whole list of questions. she answered them easily, she needed time between high school and college to get some real world experience. she wanted to travel, to work and save her money, but she always knew she would go, and that ogden was the place. 

and then a year later greer started, and ida zeroed in on her. she was perfect for ida’s ego, for her life to befriend such a golden girl. to whisper words of wisdom. but soon greer, either seeing through ida’s facade or just over it altogether, gave ida the cold shoulder. 

but she was undeterred, continuing on her merry way but always keeping an eye on the campus golden girl. she laughed when others needed the comedic boost, gave out compliments to those who needed it, and offered her support as needed. but it just isn’t enough is it?

AS IT WILL BE:  

looking forward, ida is hoping to continue to apply herself. charming anyone and everyone she can, collecting people in her pocket for when she needs them, making loyal friends and followers. currently she’s applying to master and phd programs, including the one at ogden, to continue her studies. and she’s keeping her eye out for the golden girl, curious to her disappearance, though a bit thrilled in the mystery. ida would never turn down the drama, and is not above going the extra mile when she’s a bit bored.

WHO IS GREER TO ME:

ida entered college at age 20, with too much real-world experience it seemed. everyone was so boring at ogden, making problems out of nothing, feeding each other’s egos. and yet, ida knew what she could tap into while she was there, the wealth, the connections, the power. everything she needed, what she had never had. and enter greer, a beautiful eager girl with everything ida needed, everything she wanted to be. and so she quickly took to her side, hoping to offer friendship, advice, to mold her into the person that ida needed her to be. and it seemed to work for a while, greer maintaining her own self but still ida could clearly see her influences. until it stopped completely, greer icing her out of her life in one fell swoop. and in less than a year, ida went from building her empire and future on poor little greer, back to nothing. still she kept her tabs on greer, and she knew greer did the same. they acted polite and kind in public, a weird relationship of knowing each other but not really. ida played it off, acting as if greer was but a younger sibling to her. but to everyone else it was just an odd friendship that didn’t survive the test of time in college, nothing more and nothing less.

WHO I AM TO YOU: 

she pulls you in with her sweetness, but only when it’s too late do you realize her true colors. like sirens drown the sailors, ida isn’t afraid to take-down anyone she feels deserves it. Whether it is valid or not. she doesn’t care who it is, and sometimes she does it just for fun. breaking the hearts of boys and girls, dragging people's names through the mud, spreading a rumor to take them down completely. whatever it takes, she’ll do it. for her safety, for her entertainment, it doesn’t matter much to her. but even now, four years later at ogden, people haven’t seemed to really pick up on it. let’s face it, she won’t hesitate to push you in front of a bus, and will quite successfully convince you it had been an accident and she had been trying to save you from the bus.

ofc ofc ofc so sorry for the late reply hunny!! okay okay so excited to be doing this again here we go!

i dunno but my first thought for tvd was klaus, he’d constantly be prepared to take you across the world and show you all of its greatest sights (recommend notre dam it was beau!). and whilst he did so he’d tell you all of the stories from his times passing through or living places, I also feel like being on the road for a bit and not remaining in his own territory would do this man some good, and he’d be absolutely in his element to spend some well needed time with you and focus on nothing else but your relationship. not to mention he’d wanna go to all of the museums across the world and talk in detail about the artists that he’d met or heard great things about, I feel like klaus would get a little nerdy about that. as known he liked to go on carriage rides so with you liking animals it’d be a win win maybe he’d draw you a portrait of one too iykyk.

Sam Wilson, because this man could take you across the seas on his parents boat and he’d treat you like an absolute queen. I feel as though the journey of you two would have started out at the end of aou with the two of you being new recruits for the avengers, with training and missions that you’d have to go on you’d grow quite close with all of the time you’d have to spend together, for a while you’d feel as though he was just a friend, but eventually within the time you’re having to hide out you stay with him and Sarah and his kids and see that you two could be more and that you want to be. and whilst doing your nails isn’t always the best attire for going out into the battlefield, Sam would always buy you any new polishes or tools that you need to redo them whether that be to your room or when the team is watching a movie. this man is a sweetheart not to forget to mention on the quinjet home he’d allow you to fall asleep on his shoulder

Okay so here me out on this one, Liam would literally be like your very own puppy and not that you’d need more animals but this boy would literally do ANYTHING for you. he’s hella whipped which is adorable, but not only do your thrills for adventure cause occasional trouble for the pack, but they make for great stories that you both look back on and laugh at, like the time that you stole Stiles’ jeep because your car was in the garage. Let’s just say he wasn’t too happy about that but it made for some great time for you to spend with the baby beta and you had no regrets. and the most cute thing is that Liam is always willing to learn things that you like to do so that he can help; such as your nails and whilst he definitely wouldn’t be an artist with it he’d definitely try his hardest and have this firm look of concentration on his face as he did it!
