This is the Christmas Station ID of TV5 in 2014. The Christmas Station ID is themed “Krismas Mas Mas Masaya”.
The Christmas Station ID theme song was sung by Filipino OPM singer and songwriter Regine Velasquez featuring OPM group Gimme 5 who are the backing vocals.
The Christmas Station ID is led by Vice Ganda, Empoy Marquez, Coco Martin and Zoren Legaspi who are known as "The Taros Comedy Crew" from the TV5 sitcom show Banana Split. They are the genderbend versions of Arcee Muñoz, Ritz Azul, Alice Dixson and Eula Caballero who are the original cast members of Banana Split featuring Imee Hart, Iwa Moto and Sugar Mercado. But now, The Taros Comedy Crew is now a band consisting of Vice Ganda as the drummer, Empoy Marquez as the bassist, Coco Martin as the keyboardist or the keytarist and Zoren Legaspi as the guitarist. They resemble as “The Wiggles” but are more crazy than The Fresh Beat Band from Disney and the Imagination Movers from Nick Jr. The Christmas Station ID features Liza Soberano, Ogie Alcasid, Willie Revillame and special guests like Gelli de Belen, Luis Manzano, Arjo Atayde, Matteo Guidicelli, John Lloyd Cruz, Joseph Bitangcol, Mariel Rodriguez, Krystal Reyes, Toni Gonzaga, Camille Prats, Jennylyn Mercado and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith who are from ABS-CBN in the 2000’s. But somehow, Arjo Atayde and John Lloyd Cruz broke up their friendship with Luis Manzano, Matteo Guidicelli and Joseph Bitangcol when they moved to TV5 in 2010. Due to this, Luis Manzano, Matteo Guidicelli and Joseph Bitangcol were from GMA in 2005. The Christmas Station ID also includes Kermit the Frog, Elmo and Big Bird from the Muppets who are created by Jim Henson, Frozen actors Will Smith, Robert de Niro and Freddy Highmore including Wayne Allwine who is the voice actor of Steve from Disney’s Blues Clues. The Christmas Station ID also features Enrique Gil at the beginning when he sets up the Christmas Lights in the TV5 Media Center while he was depressed.
The Christmas Station ID was recorded at the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong, Manila in November 1, 2014. However, Some of the clips are re-used in the My Name Is by Dr. Dre from Disney's Blues Clues and deleted songs of DMX like The Real Slim Shady and Without Me in the 2002 movie Frozen.
The Christmas Station ID will be re-used in 2015 with the new theme “Happy Ka Dito Ngayon Pasko!” but with minor changes and an explosion at the very end.

heya! here's that list of french learning resources + shows i promised :^) sorry this took so long, midterms came out of nowhere for me LOL
wordref is a great language-to-language dictionary (it's got a ton of others besides eng/fr) - it gives you multiple context-dependent translations and conjugations for different verbs and nouns, which can be super helpful with all the semantics that come up in french
this is a pretty good collection of practice tests for the DELF, which is a FDL/French as a Second Language proficiency test conducted by the french national ministry of education. there's several levels (A1-C2, with the As being more or less high school-level and C focusing on business and industry terminology). passing the B2 version is generally considered the benchmark for fluency; i took and passed the B2 in 2017 so if you have any specific questions abt that lmk!
tv5monde has some great video-based learning exercises designed for non-native speakers as well. typically an exercise will consist of a video (subtitled in french) and a graded comprehension quiz, which i always found really helpful since you can both hear, read, and apply the vocab all in one place
conjuguemos still strikes fear into my heart even five years out of high school but it is a good quick study tool. it's kind of like quizlet in that it'll give you a subject, verb infinitive, and tense for you to conjugate (hence conjuguemos) and it'll grade your answers
this is a really awesome list of other resources for all kinds of skill levels; it mentions some of the ones i've listed above along with many others that i haven't had a chance to check out.
in terms of films/tv/youtube/tiktok/etc., i'd definitely recommend starting out by watching content with french audio and english subtitles so you can kinda get the hang of listening for certain vocabulary, and then once you're comfortable with that i personally think watching with french subtitles is really helpful, because the range of accents is so wide (i still can't understand québecois accents) and it's nice to be able to follow along. i also think watching french news programs (like tv5, france24, and le monde) can be super helpful!
finally, here's a list of my favorite francophone films and shows, in no particular order: le fabuleux destin d'amélie poulain, les intouchables, l'auberge espagnole, cléo de cinq à sept, fatima, persepolis, lupin
and please feel free let me know if you have any questions, want any advice on where to start, or need any conversation practice! bonne chance :D
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ILL BE SURE TO CHECK ALL OF THESE OUT!!! ill definitely reach out if i have any questions or need help or practice!! this was so nice of you to put together for me i really really appreciate it<333

Satanists in Philippine entertainment
There are actually Satanists and occultists in Philippine entertainment, offering astrology stuff and covert spells. But I believe this is going to get more blatant in the near future, along with both gay marriage and the occult becoming legalised by the Philippine congress. GMA7, TV5 and the like will air more blatantly Satanic programmes, featuring demons and the Devil as heroic whereas God is mocked and despised.
These programmes also show a strong progressive bent, aimed at the equally progressive youth, where lifestyles like polyamory and LGBT are seen as good and legitimate and anybody who opposes these on telly are portrayed as ignorant, mean bullies. The Satanists behind these programmes will work in concert with the LGBT community, with the aim of further desensitising Filipinos to sin and evil. Those at Radio Maria, El Shaddai and the like will decry these programmes, calling them out for what they really are.
But they'll be review-bombed by young, queer Filipinos who insist that they be banned for promoting bigotry, despite proving them right in some way when those critics themselves turn to Satanism and the like. They'll do anything to attack the Christian church, with spells and curses. The LGBT community will become more brazenly immoral, like the ones in the west, where they'll do sex acts in public. There'll be naked people in Philippine pride parades from then on.
Young Filipinos will also petition polyamory to be legalised and they'll succeed at this, though not without the rise of STDs even if they keep on doing this. These will work in tandem with the mainstreaming of the occult and Satanism proper in the Philippines, to the point where we might have rock bands openly embracing Satanism as a way to reclaim it. Especially punk bands and it should be noted that there was a Satanic panic over punk rock here.
Especially due to a radio programme that such characters were readily suspected of being Satanists, however in the future Philippine punk bands will reclaim this as a way to attack the Christian church. Watch out if they succeed in creating songs that not only insult God and the church, but also get a lot of airplay and streaming listens that you'd really have to be cautious with those. The Philippine LGBT community will reclaim Satanism as a way to counter the heteronormative church.
But this will lead to the Philippines getting conquered by China, which produces nationwide repentance and a willingness to evangelise to the latter.

I was trying to remember my life as a teenager and all I can remember is a creative trying to navigate the world with art as her guiding light.
As a little kid, I didn't remember much, but from what my older cousins had told me, when I am left with a pen, everything was a canvass for me. Even if it meant drawing on my own skin.
There was even a time that I proudly drew Bugs Bunny on MS Paint when I was at my mom's office.
As a little girl, I was focused in competing academically in school. I was always the 2nd but never the first. It never bothered me and I knew I just had to do my best.
Kinder-Prep (4-6), Grade 1-6 (6-12 yo)
As a teenager, this is the phase where family issues were coming in and so at random times I cry in school without telling my friends what it was really about. They know me as a happy-go-lucky girl but in reality, they didn't know how much I was struggling internally. In class, I still excel especially in Math.
I did became a gamer. I was spending time & money on playing Ragnarok and even attended events with my "guildmates"
HS (12-16 yo), College (16-20 yo)
Deciding on what I really wanted as I grew older, I remember getting frustrated not being accepted in the top universities I applied in but I was grateful having a chance in UST as a waitlister for Communication Arts course, my 2nd choice even if my ultimate goal was to enroll for any Math-related course which I knew I was very good at. I was in my 2nd year in college when I finally let go of chasing this goal.
My dad bought a secondhand film camera from his friend. I learned how to use it and instantly fell in love with Photography, learned videography, then became good at editing. I have always been artistically inclined and loved navigating the world visually. I had became fond of sharing my overly edited photos online, sharing my thoughts through a blog, and becoming part of groups to make documentaries.
In our batch I was one of 3 who knew how to edit videos.
TV5 (20-26), AM (27-29), Freelance Editor & Producer (29 onwards)
At first, I thought I'm gonna be a cinematographer then came opportunities for TV Production I became a Tech PA, then Post PA. I was pretty happy with all the TV Shows I became part of.
In general I was really grateful for how I have grown in this industry.

If you do ask me if I watched some Playhouse Disney shows, yes, I did, but on Tagalog dub.
I watched Handy Manny, Higglytown Heroes, Jungle Junction, Agent Oso, then Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
I watched those when I was very very young. What a simple day to watch kid shows on mornings and on TV5

This is the 2005 Christmas Station ID of GMA. The Station ID was themed “Kapuso, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko”
The Christmas Station ID Theme was sung Martin Nievera, Jolina Magdangal, Sam Concepcion, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Ogie Alcasid, Sharon Cuneta, the Christmas Carollers from GMA and the original cast from the TV5 sketch comedy show Goin’ Bulilit. Somehow, The Christmas Station ID Theme Song was shortened due to the video. Somehow, Starting in December 1, 2005, The song “Star ng Pasko” can be heard in DZBB Radyo 594 and various radio stations nationwide.
The Christmas Station ID contains Martin Nievera who is riding on a Jeepney, Heart Evangelista, Dimples Romana, Bea Alonzo, Gabby Concepcion with his daughter KC Concepcion, Eddie Gutierrez and Ruffa Gutierrez, Chad Kinis, Albie Casiño, Janice de Belen, Arcee Muñoz, Alice Dixson, Tuesday Vargas, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero, Paolo Bediones, Sharon Cuneta, Mike Enriquez, Henry Omaga-Diaz, Jessica Soho, Mel Tiangco, Karen Davila, Amelyn Veloso, Cheryl Cosim, Alvin Elchico, Anthony Taberna, Alex Vincent Medina, Erich Gonzales, Beauty Gonzales, Christian Bables, Ogie Diaz, Piolo Pascual, Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon, Albert Martinez, Gerald Anderson, Luis Manzano, Matteo Guidicelli, Patrick Garcia, AJ Perez, Terence Baylon, Carl Cervantes, Martin Escudero, Derek Ramsay, Paolo Ballesteros, Pooh, Pokwang, Edu Manzano, Jericho Rosales, Christopher de Leon, Richard Gutierrez, Raymond Gutierrez, JC de Vera, Jayson Gainza, Zanjoe Marudo, John Prats, Ces Oreña-Drilon, Carmina Villaroel, Eugene Domingo, Nora Aunor, Leandro Muñoz, Kristine Hermosa, Meg Imperial, Gelli de Belen, Empoy Marquez, Mark Lapid, Cherie Gil, Raymart Santiago, JM de Guzman, Jessie Mendiola, Wendell Ramos, Pen Medina, Ping Medina, Janine Gutierrez, Rene Hawkins, Solenn Heusaff, Eric Quizon, Epy Quizon, Richard Gomez and his wife Lucy Torres-Gomez, Janno Gibbs, Polo Ravales, John Lloyd Cruz, EJ Falcon, Roxanne Guinoo, Joyce Jimenez, Valerie Concepcion, Shawn Yao, Keempee de Leon, Eula Valdez, RK Bagatsing, Ian Veneracion, Claudine Barretto, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Kim Atienza, Judy Ann Santos, Cherry Pie Picache, Neil Ryan Sese, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Jess Lapid Jr., Mico Halili, Hayden Kho, JP de Guzman, Vhong Navarro, Mel Martinez, Long Mejia, Jolo Revilla, Bong Revilla, Jhong Hilario, John Estrada, Oyo Boy Sotto, Gian Sotto, Ryan Agoncillo, Maine Mendoza, Catherine Bernardo, RJ Padilla, Aga Muhlach, Bembol Roco, Geoff Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, Bernard Palanca, Mico Palanca, featuring child actress Angelica Panganiban who is an original cast member of Goin’ Bulilit, the Spice Girls, the supergroup Group of 30, the SexBomb Girls and DJ Lance the Dinosaur from Sesame Street. The Christmas Station ID features the pre-debut of South Korean boy band BigBang and Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse and Russi Taylor, the voice of Minnie Mouse and president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who turns on the Christmas Lights and hugs Angelica Panganiban at the very end. Sadly, Fernando Poe Jr. and Mark Gil don’t appear in the 2005 Christmas Station ID because Fernando Poe Jr. died in September 11, 2005 of leukemia and Mark Gil died in November 11, 2005 due to a respiratory failure.
But eventually, This was the only Christmas Station ID to feature the crew from ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5. But somehow, The clips are used from the 2005 ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID in 2005 which is “Sabay Tayo sa Pasko, Kapamilya!”
Somehow, Arcee Muñoz, Alice Dixson, Tuesday Vargas, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero and Aga Muhlach may have moved to TV5 in 2005, although Ryan Agoncillo has moved to ABS-CBN in 2005.

BALITANG SHOWBIZ: Pinoy Big Brother: GEN11 permanently suspends Eviction Voting amidst hate speech and death threats online [#FIRSTonOneNETnews]

This Showbiz News report contains sensitive content, including references to online hate comments and death threats. Readers discretion is STRONGLY advised!!!
QUEZON, MANILA -- The popular social experiment reality TV show 'Pinoy Big Brother: GEN11' has announced the permanent suspension of viewer voting for weekly evictions effective mid-September 2024. This decision comes in response to a significant wave of online hate comments and death threats directed at the show's housemates.
In a report from ABS-CBN News, the drastic measure is said to result from the alarming increase of negative and extremely harmful comments created on their social media platforms, a reason cited by producers for the move. It would protect the mental and emotional well-being of housemates as contestants who have been victimized, severely both cyberbullied and cyber-libeled.
Although, this said suspension of eviction voting takes effect, 'Save' voting through the electronic wallet fintech smartphone app partner 'Maya' will still be part of the weekly eviction results until the Big Night for this season on Saturday night (October 26th, 2024 at 8:30pm -- Manila local time). That way, viewers and streaming online may still have a say in the fate of their favorite housemates, but in a more positive way.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) and cybercrime authorities have actively launched an investigation into the matter, with the likes of National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO). Those liable of hate speech and threats could be brazenly charged with criminal offense on both cases as above-mentioned.
Online and physical offenders for commuted cases under the law may be imprisoned for 4 years and 8 months to 14 years under 'reclusion temporal' level of The Revised Penal Code (RPC). Those who were involved could be detained at a nearest provincial jail in their provinces per one social media account with a fine of PHP400,000 to PHP1.5 million (or U$D6,830 to U$D25,613).
This issue has sparked a national conversation about the impact of social media on mental health and the responsibility of online users to maintain a respectful and safe environment. Producers for the competitive social experiment reality TV show have called upon the public to stand with housemates and refrain from harmful behavior online.
It will require a more serious mindfulness by everyone about the foul-mouthed words and actions happening online to make a safer and more supportive environment for all, rather than the show was considered overcooked.
'Pinoy Big Brother: GEN11' airs every weeknights at 10:15pm and weekend nights at 8:30pm in Manila / 9:15am and 7:30am Central in the U.S. Only on DWWX-TV 2's Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online LIVE, DZOE-TV's A2Z 11 and DWET-TV's TV5 in Metro & Mega Manila, and catch-up on demand worldwide in selected countries thru iWantTFC and PBB: GEN11's YouTube channel.
