This streamlined sketch is a drawing for the Turun Sanomat office building by Alvar Aalto, ca.1928 (building completed 1930). As one of his successful early works, it paved the way for his iconic landmark building Paimio Sanatorium, which completed only a couple of years later in 1933. I am in a new decade, watching another darker and grittier^3 Batman film. #birthday #watchmenmeme #drmanhattan . The Batman was good. Dark visuals, humor and atmosphere. There were no bad acting performances, younger emo Bätmän wasn't a bad choice but I would have loved to see one Affleck Batman. Good Gordon with Batman voice, LoL, good Catwoman, great Penquin and very good Falcone. The camerawork was excellent, in both cinematography and movement - loved the Miami Vice camera in the chase which wasn't boring for a change. There was enough story and äxön to fill the three hours quite nicely. Irman älyrollaattori

Suomi on yksi maailman nopeimmin ikääntyvistä maista.

Irma on 75 vuotta, joutuu luopumaan rakkaasta kodistaan ja muuttamaan palvelutaloon. Irmalla on alzheimer, ja siksi hän ei aina muista missä hän asuu, ketkä hänen läheisiään ovat tai sitä, että hän ei saanut ottaa kissaansa mukaan muuttaessaan. Irman tavoin monilla vanhuksilla on saattanut olla elämänsä aikana lemmikkejä. Harvaan asumisyksikköön voi tuoda niitä mutta joissain saattaa tosin asua vakituisesti “talon puolesta” muutama lemmikki, tosin tämäkään ei ole yleistä.

Silti vanhusten hellyyden osoitusten tarvetta ja lemmikin kaipuuta täyttämään on kehitetty terapia- ja hoivarobotit. Terapiarobotti auttaa olemuksellaan, pehmeydellään ja aidontuntuisuudellaan ihmistä purkamaan esimerkiksi pahaa oloa, vihaa ja ahdistusta. Kuten koiralle tai pehmolelulle jota halata ja kertoa mikä harmittaa. Robotti osaa reagoida ääniin ja kosketukseen.

Toinen Irman soisiaalisuutta, aktiivisuutta ja terveyttä edistävä robotiikan mullistus on robotti Zora. Se osaa mm. pelata korttipelejä sekä lukea internetistä lehtiartikkeleita. Robottia voidaan ohjata langattoman reitittimen avulla. Robotin ohjaaja saa koko ajan ajantasaista ääni- ja kuvamateriaalia.  Siinä missä Zora jumppauttaa palvelutalon asukkaita, älyrollaattorin avulla voidaan mahdollistaa laajempi liikkuminen. Älyrollaattorin sensorien avulla vanhuksen liikkeitä voi seurata tarkasti, saada dataa päivittäisestä aktiivisuudesta sekä motoriikasta. Tällainen keksintö joka pohjautuu pilvipalvelun kautta välitettävään dataan, helpottaa hoitohenkilökuntaa, kannustaa käyttäjäänsä sekä auttaa tämän hoidon seurannassa ja suunnittelussa.

One person was killed and five others injured after a sailboat collided with a racing boat off Finland’s coast near the Turku Archipelago, the Finnish Coast Guard said in a statement on Saturday.

“Two people sustained serious injuries and four others were lightly injured in a collision of two boats in the Turku Archipelago. There was a total of eight people on board the boats: two on the motorboat, the rest on the sailboat”, the statement read. Shortly after, the Turku guards informed that one of the seriously injured individuals, a middle-aged man, has died when being transported to a hospital.

They added that all injured people have now been transferred to a hospital and that there was a child among them.

An investigation into the incident is underway. It is known that the weather conditions were fine when the collision occurred.
