Story

Before Hamato Yoshi (Splinter) came to New York and before Oroku Saki (Shredder) became enemies.

Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki trained Ninjutsu (Ninja) outside of Tokyo in a village.

Their Master Mogo Sanjuro (Mogo-San) is the leader of the Ninja clan and Oroku Nagi is the second leader.

Oroku Nagi is very awful to his apprentices especially Hamato Yoshi because he was the only one to speak up against him.

At this moment, there is a sword duel between Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Nagi because he didn't like Yoshi's tone and than they were stopped by Mogo-Sanjuro and Saki.

Saki took away Nagi and Mogo-Sanjuro took away Yoshi from killing each other.

Mogo Sanjuro talks to Hamato Yoshi about wanting Hamatos to take over as leader and master in case something happens to him.

Hamato Yoshi should be honored but at the same time not because he is not the next coming leader and master of the clan and it is Oroku Nagi who is.

Mogo Sanjuro doesn't trust Oroku Nagi anymore because of his toxic personality.

Oroku Nagi was nearby and overheard their conversation.

Oroku Nagi takes the opportunity to go to Hamato Yoshi's room taking one of his weapons.

After Hamato Yoshi's conversation with Mogo Sanjuro.

Hamato Yoshi goes out and afterwards and suddenly Oroku Nagi confronts Mogo Sanjuro.

Oroku Nagi uses one of Hamato Yoshi's weapons when attacking Mogo Sanjuro.

Then Oroku Nagi kills Master Mogo Sanjuro and frames Hamato Yoshi for Mogo Sanjuro's murder.

It becomes impossible for Hamato Yoshi to clear his name because no one believes him because he is a student not even Oroku Saki even though he is a friend.

Oroku Saki has been ordered by Oroku Nagi to take Hamato Yoshi dead or alive because he's the new leader.

Oroku Saki believes in his brother instead of his former friend.

The only one who believes Hamato Yoshi is innocent is Tang Shen shortly after that her life is also in danger because she believes Hamato.

Tang Shen is the stepdaughter of Mogo Sanjuro because he was married to her mother but later passed away.

She watched as Oroku Nagi killed Master Mogo Sanjuro.

Oroku Nagi was nearby and overheard Tang Shen talking to Hamato Yoshi about his innocence and not behind the murder.

After a moment when Hamato Yoshi leaves Tang Shen little moments to clear his thoughts and in that moment Oroku Nagi grabs Tang Shen's mouth from behind.

Oroku Nagi corners Tang Shen because she is the only one who can clear Hamato Yoshi's name.

Oroku Nagi gives Tang Shen a choice either she stays quiet and doesn't tell about Oroku Nagi being behind this or she clear names Hamato Yoshi and faces consequences.

Tang Shen chose to testify against Oroku Nagi because Mogo-Sanjuro was her stepfather and then Nagi starts beating her because she chose to testify.

Afterwards when Hamato Yoshi arrives then he sees Tang Shen being beaten and he saves Tang Shen from Oroku Nagi and Hamato Yoshi kills Oroku Nagi and at this moment he knows that he can no longer stay in Japan so he and Tang Shen escape to America with there pet rat.

Oroku Saki find's Hamato Yoshi weapon that killed Oroku Nagi and now he hunting after Hamato Yoshi and Tang Shen.

They looking for Mogo-Yoku apartment after they left Japan because Mogo-Yoku is son of Mogo-Sanjuro and stepsister to Tang Shen.

Yoku left Japan because didn't want to continue roots of clan but he know ninjutsu also he havent seen Tang Shen for long time but he dont know Hamato Yoshi.

Yoku see that Hamato Yoshi as friendly because he see that Tang Shen is comfortable and happy with him but he doesn't like there pet rat.

Hamato Yoshi starts working at a sushi restaurant while Tang Shen took the same job but her shift was shorter than Hamato Yoshi.

Yoku is bodyguard to Mack Ren (Kurokkā) Crocker work in hospital Bring Health Grow.

It's not long before Oroku Saki/Shredder shows up in Yoku apartment.

Tang Shen went home from work and she see man with silver mask and clows in his arms and he introduces himself as Shredder.

He killed her and pet rat as well and waits until Hamato Yoshi comes to the apartment to kill him to.

When Hamato Yoshi comes home, he sees that Tang Shen is dead and also his pet rat dead as well and at this moment he get stabbed because he is distracted by seeing his wife and pet rat dead.

Hamato Yoshi managed to survive while and struggles to stay alive and has been infected by Shredder's claws because he slashed the rat with it.

Yoku comes home to find Hamato Yoshi and Tang Shen on the floor.

Yoku notices Hamato Yoshi is still alive but not Tang Shen or his pet rat as they are both dead. Yoku calls Mack Ren Kurokkā to save Hamato Yoshi's life and then Yoku takes Hamato Yoshi to the Hospital where Mack Ren Kurokkā works.

Once he has healed, Yoshi had tried to find his belongs what was left of things from Yoku apartment.

Mack Ren Kurokkā tells Yoku must look for Hamato Yoshi.

Yoku probably knows where he is and then finds him emotionally hurt.

After takes his stuff and says goodbye to Yoku and goes down to the sewers to seek his revenge on Shredder and then he sees four fallen turtles from the well and with mutang and both turtles are mutated and Hamato Yoshi is mutated into a rat because he got rat infected by Shredder claw that come in his body.

Hamato Yoshi when transform into a rat he change name Splinter and take care of four baby turtles.

This is seen from the fact that he brought backup dancers to a long-lost temple and when he was dancing. He also seems loyal enough to wear a fez even though he wasn't in Egypt. He does have a difficult relationship with Perry but sometimes they get along with the rest of his brothers and sisters. As Agent FezP, he is proud of his abilities as a fez platypus and wants to prove himself to Perry that he can be a good secret agent for the O.W.C.A. As a dream demon, he can be manipulative and he is always sassy in order to get what he wants. When he’s making a deal with someone, his greenish teal hand starts burning with light teal flames. As a siren, he plays with someone’s emotions and he’s ready to show off his singing voice and feeds on the positivity around him.

I’ve been listening to The Bible in a Year podcast. I started it about a week after I lost my job. And I’m glad I did, because starting my mornings with it helps me step outside myself and my worries.

Two days ago I had to stop the playback and sit for a moment, because I’d reached the part of Leviticus where God lays out the temple offering for presenting newborns. For sons, the couple is supposed to offer a turtle dove and a lamb, unless they cannot afford a lamb. In which case, they are to offer two turtle doves.

And I had to stop because I remembered.

OOF where to start. The stuff in the screenshot there is true, meanwhile almost everything you have written here is untrue. There is quite a bit of nutritional value -- especially protein via collagen -- in jellyfish, as well as plenty of bits of other things we need. They are being encouraged as a new food source to supplement current seafood consumption in order to boost sustainability, because not only are they numerous and nutritional, they're already bycatch, and just normally discarded. Taking advantage of blooms will not only save labor, overhead, and time, but also keep overpopulation in check for the surrounding wildlife and hopefully reduce consumption of more targeted fish.

A quick search will turn up plenty of papers; here's just a couple of the first to turn up, since I'd be here all day if I cited all of them. Look at their references for further reading.

Yeah they're not a complete food on their own for us, but very few things are. Celery is mostly water and is nothing nutritionally when compared to something like potatoes or beans, but we still eat celery all the time.

Also YIKES about the whole 'otherwise people would be eating them for a long time' thing because.......... We have. People have been eating jellyfish for over a thousand years. It's a multi-million dollar market. You probably have stores that sell it in your area. Just because it's not important to westerners doesn't mean it's not important.

So, yeah. Sometimes things on tumblr are true. And sometimes things people 'um, actually' for clout are not.

re: there's a post about how we should be eating jellyfish

this isn't, as the kids say, true, like, on any level, otherwise we would probably already have been doing this for as long as people have eaten things from the ocean - and not for lack of trying. people are trying to find ways to prepare jellyfish precisely because climate change creates conditions that are perfect for them. but they're. edible in only the most technical terms, in that you could eat them without dying - which people do, and have done, and typically don't do often even now. because they don't have any real nutritional value. off the top of my head there are only a few specialists that get anything out of them (like sunfish! you remember sunfish, right? from all the posts that talk about how they suck? those posts also talk about how nutritionally useless jellyfish are), and even using them for fertilizer is kind of a dead end.

granted i only studied this as an undergrad a few years ago and a lot could have changed in our understanding of how to eat jellyfish! but as far as i'm aware calling the whole thing made up is maybe being generous, because. well. I mean there are only so many ways i can say "hey that's just completely made up". as things currently stand finding a way to eat jellyfish is a less feasible way to manage climate change than actually taking any steps to mitigate the effects of climate change or overfishing is, and most of the research i'd read treat it more as ideas for how to survive in the absolute worst case scenarios; because an ocean full of jellyfish is an ocean that is functionally dead
