Jk but I was wondering if you can do a little headcanon or short story of mean girl!donnie and MC dating. Like how would people react to knowing HOT and smart donnie dating someone who was basically not recognized till dating donnie.

or how would they interact in public and private, how would his brothers react. That kind of stuff

Now, I am still on my hiatus for turtle content, but this was an interesting question, so have your rare ounce of food.

Now, if I remember correctly, we had Mean Girl Donnie, Bimbo Leo, Jock Raph, and Nerd Mikey.

People are shocked for sure. Never would they have imagined the smartest and the most attractive person in the school would be with...a student no one really knows about.

It definitely becomes a hot topic in the halls. Lots of people coming up to MC, wondering how they got Donnie of all people to date them.

Quickly, rumors start up but Donnie quickly shoots down the ones he doesn't like. He likes some of them, like, "They only got him because they begged and offered full control."

Moving on,

He acts very, very mean in public. Literally bullying MC. Whether it's making their reputation worse or making them do lots of stuff for him (not school work but rather more getting him things or general favors).

He refuses any affection. No compliments, no hugs, nothing. You're basically treated like an underling to a cruel boss. And no, you can't leave. He'll destroy your life if you do.

BUT

In private, he's practically the definition of a clinger. But like, controlling.

He'll bring you to his grand house often. Shoving his curious brothers out of the way and bringing you straight to his room. Then he'll hold onto your arm, nuzzling your neck. Making happy hums, eyes closed and all.

If you try to leave his grasp when he's in this mood he will pull you back and make upset grunts if you keep trying. He kind of goes nonverbal in this state. You can't deprive him of comfort.

Next, his brothers.

(I'll go in this order: Leo, Raph, Mikey)

Leo is Donnie's biggest rival. Leo wants you just as bad as Donnie does. But instead of control...he just simply wants to be the person you always go to for comfort. He wants to be the one that gets all your attention.

So being him, he'll walk in to Donnie's room, acting like he doesn't know what's going on when he knows Donnie's being clingy. Then he'll "mistake" it as snuggle time and get on the other side of you.

Which Donnie is hissy pissy at.

In general, Leo will always try to get in between the two of you and get your attention.

Surely you'll fall in love with him, right?

Raph is like trying not to be jealous. But highkey is. He doesn't like that Donnie gets to have you! He's much more nicer! Sure, Donnie is perfect in grades and looks, but he's great at sports!

People love to talk to him! And he's sure you do to. So he tries to talk to you when Donnie isn't hovering around you. He tries inviting you to hang out or go watch his games.

Raph isn't as obvious as Leo in trying to get your attention. He's more, normal about it. But his intentions are quite similar to Leo.

Bro. Mikey is a little brat.

Donnie has to deal with him often. Donnie is the only one who knows Mikey tends to have an odd photo and art collection of you. But Donnie can't stop him. Since he purposely tries to be a clean slate.

Nothing to blackmail him about other than his works. Which Donnie can't get into since Mikey keeps it in a very intricate spot.

Mikey doesn't try interacting with you directly. Instead, he'll try to be at places you're interested in or try to do the things you like and make it easy for you to see.

I would say Mikey is the hardest for Donnie to deal with. Since they're kind of the opposites in what they do.

(I'm not officially back, but this was fun I admit. I do like my mean girl Donnie. He's just mad tehe).

Here it is (finally) the reference sheet for my au, "It's a Complicated Equation".

Plot

While this au is pretty similar to the original timelines, there are several noticable differences that sets it apart. Unlike other aus, events took place in such a way that the apocalypse never occurred. Meaning that the turtles were never traumatized, nor ever met Casey Jones.

Another difference is that Lou Jitsu never raised the children. Being a superstar for all his life, Lou Jitsu just didn't want or have what it took to be a parent. At a young age, the Turtle tots were just dumped somewhere in a rain soaked cardboard box, while Lou Jitsu set out to find new fortune and glory in the Hidden City.

(Still a work in progress. Im not going to give everything away just yet :3)

Character Bios

Donnie: Medical special needs child. Literally lost an arm in a fight or something, and now doesn't go on missions anymore with the bros. He does make inventions to help his siblings tho, and is actually best buddies with Kendra (they met at April's school when they were a lot younger, and ended up bonding over their shared favorite color, Purple, and their higher brain power. These two will literally kill for each other, lol). Even if he doesn't show it, Donnie actually wants to be hugged and/or loved and appreciated, he just doesn't know how to ask for it. He has a bad(?) habit of imprinting on parent aged adults. When he's attached to someone, he will do anything to make them like him.

Mikey: Sweet innocent child/master of psychological manipulation. Ever since he discovered his mystic powers, he has had a very good understanding and control over them. Donnie created him a pair of gloves to protect his hands while using his powers. They also limit and measure the amount of energy he is using, so that he doesn't use too much, or hurt himself. Lastly, they carry sedatives in the case that Mikey loses control and needs to be stopped. Mikey is loved by all his siblings. But he can be a real gremlin when he wants to, knowing that he can get away with it.

Leo: Due to the way this universe happened, the events leading up to the krang invasion happened in such a way that the key was lost, and never recovered. Meaning that Leo never had to really mature and take it leadership. Unlike many other poor Leonardos, Leo is able to be his carefree, joking, self-confident little self. He takes his big brother role seriously, being lovingly protective, and annoying, to his two little bros. Seriously though, he would do anything the protect the younger turtles of the group. If Mikey is hurt or sad, he's right there. If Donnie is getting picked on, he is more than willing to beat up who ever the jerk is. He loves his family with a passion.

Raph: When they were just children, Lou Jitsu ended up abandoning them, deciding the job of parenting was too much for a recently mutated actor. Besides, there was still glory to get in this new Hidden City. This forced Raph to take up the role of caretaker and parent at a very young age. He has successfully raised his three siblings all on his own, and although they still see him as their brother, the other turtles affectionately refer to him as 'Mama Raph'.

Author's note: I know it's a bit unexpected post, but I went through something terrible when I got back from work after the night shift today. My beloved dog died for unknown reasons. I wanted to vent my frustration and sadness into something, and it happened to be writing more headcanons. I hope that if someone else is going through such a loss right now, they'll find comfort in this post. And don't worry, the other requests are ready and I will make them public soon.

Leonardo

◇ When he heard about your loss, he immediately used his sword to teleport to you.

◇ What happened was terrible; he didn't want to leave you alone with it.

◇ Most likely, the boy began to wipe away your tears with his hands and then hugged you.

◇ Sweet words of encouragement here, sweet words of comfort there, Leonardo is an expert in conversation.

◇ I think he didn't leave your side for at least a week. You were pampered from every side. Leo just couldn't stand seeing you in such a state.

◇ That's why he often appeared out of nowhere at your school.

"Leo...?" You whispered in surprise when you closed your locker and saw a red-slider turtle right in front of you, wearing one of his blue hoodies.

"Tadah! Your knight in shining armor has come to the rescue again!" The teenager announced, pulling a pack of tissues and a candy bar from his pockets. Before you could say or think anything, Leo wiped away your fresh tears and handed you the treat.

◇ If you kept falling into despair, he tried to only recall good memories with your deceased pet. Honestly, he would prefer you to forget the whole incident, but he suspected it would be entirely unhealthy for your mental well-being.

◇ I know this may sound controversial, but I think Leo is one of those people who will want to find a new pet for you as soon as possible to help you heal faster.

◇ If you agree, he'll scour every animal shelter and internet listing to find the best replacement!

◇ But if you don't, he'll try to listen to your opinion, although expect occasional reminders of the idea.

◇ In the end, he won't leave you without support.

Raphael

◇ He understands that this is a difficult time for you, so Raphael is ready to provide you with all the support you may need.

◇ His willingness to come to you whenever you need him is a testament to his dedication and care for you. Whether it's during a regular day or a nighttime patrol, he'll quickly come to your side!

◇ It's worth appreciating that despite the absence of your pet, you have a loyal friend in Raphael who will try to fill that void.

◇ In these challenging moments, you will surely be a tremendous source of support for each other, given that Raph has taken care of your pet before, and the loss has deeply affected him as well.

◇ Especially since animals usually don't like him very much, so your pet had a special place in his heart.

◇ Together, you will overcome the sadness of its loss.

◇ He may not initiate it at first, but if you want it, he'll give you a strong hug.

◇ He knows roughly how long grief lasts, but the young genius won't want to let you wallow in bitter tears and sadness for too long on his watch.

◇ So he created an almost-perfect replica of your pet as a robot for you. Hey, it might be a little... unethical, but his way of showing he cares is by giving you devices he's made!

◇ Although a few drops of nervous sweat trickled down his forehead when the only response to the cheerful little robot was shock on your face.

"Cough! Don't worry, [Y.N]! Your dear evil genius has created something for you that won't plunge you into deeper depression! Behold, Pet 3000!"

◇ Maybe the initial impressions weren't the best... But slowly, you got used to having something like that around.

◇ But in the end, you still wanted Donnie to improve the robot so that it became its own separate entity, not just a copy of something dear to you.

◇ Hugs, sweet words, and support, but multiply that by 7. I don't know why by 7, I just love that number, lol.

◇ He's NOT LEAVING YOU ALONE WITH THIS! No matter how much you didn't want to burden him with all this, he won’t let you shut yourself up, especially after this tragedy!

◇ It's also worth remembering that the grieving process is individual, and everyone goes through it differently. Michelangelo will approach your needs patiently and understandingly, respecting your time and space.

◇ But he really would like to spend as much time with you as possible.

◇ Expect many sessions with Dr. Delicate Touch; thanks to understanding your feelings, accepting the loss of your pet will be faster and much easier.

◇ Together, you probably created special memorial spots for your lost pet, which will help preserve their memory.

◇ There will also be painting sessions. He'll expect you to pour your frustration onto a piece of paper.

◇ Another one who will want to spend whole days and nights with you.

◇ I have a feeling that if for some reason he can't be with you at a given moment, he'll ask April to 'borrow' Mayhem for you. It might be a bit painful for you feeling Mayhem snuggle up to you and purr, reminding you of your previous pet, but after a while, you'll feel much better.

Donnie:

He's the type of person to try and get to the root of the problem. But, that doesn't mean he won't let you rant a little

He'll be working on something while you sit and rant about your assignments at school or a job. Just know that he is listening to every word you say. You don't have to worry about that

Expect a pat on the shoulder or head from one of his mechanical arms on his battle shell. This is Donnie we're talking about after all

He'll ask a few questions and suggest what you can do when you've calmed down a little.

He might need to calm down a little too, though. Because Donnie was probably freaking out the moment you entered the room on the verge of tears

Donnie will give you some kind of alarm that tells you when to take a break from your work. If you ignore the alarm, Donnie will know

All in all, he loves and cares about you more than his tech. That is saying something

Raph:

Raph is the oldest sibling, besides April. So, he knows how to comfort people. It's basically an instinct for him

Doesn't matter if you're stubborn. He will carry you over his shoulder if it meant getting you away from your schoolwork. Don't underestimate him. He's done it to Donnie

He lets you hold one of his stuffed animals while you vent. You can just hold it without saying anything too. Just be careful with it because Raph loves those guys like they're his children

Raph will hold you too and give you comforting words. He might slip into a baby voice if you're stressed enough. That's more of an instinct

Once you're calm, he reassures you that you're doing the best you can. You're just one person after all. He's impressed you can do the schoolwork you do at all

He'll start to check on you more often after this incident, making sure you're not stressed out like that again

The experience as an older sibling may have helped, but Raph still prides himself as someone you can go to. Even though that's what being a couple is all about

Mikey:

Mikey knows you're stressed before you can even tell him. He's much more in tune with his emotions. It comes with him being the youngest and also the family therapist

The first thing Mikey does is gently pull you away from your assignments and toward his sketchbook

this usually works and you're venting while making several marks on the paper. this only works if you're not stubborn however

If you are, he's pulling out the glasses. You will have to run if you don't want to deal with Dr. Feelings. Actually, I don't running will work. That boy has stamina and will find you...

Once he gets the words out of you, Mikey smothers you with physical affection. I'm talking hugs, cuddles, and many kisses

He reassures you that he loves you, and tells you that it's okay that you're busy

Mikey would give you his heart if it meant you'd never be stressed again. Please don't let go of that heart

April:

Mayhem is now your certified therapy-dog. Although I don't know whether or not he's a dog. But that's okay because he's a dog in spirit

Anyways, back to April. She's your shoulder to cry on and someone to hold

She's also going to hype you up and tell you you're doing great. If you need someone to point out the good things from your failure, she's your gal (she's known to struggle with failure too, man)

If you're struggling with a class she either took before or has the same class as you, she'll try and help you

She'll invite you to stay the night if you need it. You'll do some self-care together

Much like the others, she's affirming that she cares about you and loves you

Through your stress, April is going to worm her way through it and reach out

Leo:

Motherfucker is portaling to your room and pulling you away from your schoolwork

He's taking you into a pillow fort, pulling you under the blankets, and putting on Jupiter Jim

Despite how he presents himself, Leo has a keen eye. He may not be as emotional as Mikey, but he knows when you're stressed and swamped with work

So, he does what any good boyfriend does and makes a fun night out of comforting you

Again, you're watching Jupiter Jim, he's doing an entire skin routine with you. By the end of it, he's holding you as you grow tired and fall asleep

He knows you won't stop working until you have nothing left, however, he'll let you know that he's always going to be there no matter what

And the only thing left is the hamato pin that he was holding in his hand, tears streamed down his cheeks when his live flashed infromt if his eyes, the times where Leo and he whould get into a argument, when he whould annoy Donnie with some drawing and Donnie whould put on his "edgy bad boy" act to pretend like he wasn't curious, or those small dares he'd make up with Raph doing crazy things, the time Mikey would visit April at school, the time when Mikey meet Casey, the day His father's reunited, when he meet Karai, when he meet Casandra, when he meet his whole live basically full of adventures and exploring, he wached his live go through his mind as he looked at the pin and smiled a little before feeling the sharp feeling of the krang go right through his heart...

Heard the Box turtle, waking up with a cold sweat and his eyes wide as he looked to his side and saw his 3 older brother looking at him worried. Leo holding both of hid shoulder seeming to shaking him to wake him up as Leo and Donnie started yelling a million questions at once before Raph yelled.

July Reads

The Coworker by Freida Mcfadden (8/10) The beginning was slow. I'm not going to completely lie, but the book threw me for multiple loops. First off, I thought Natalie, FMC, was a good person, but turns out, she's a bully? Like who would've thunk. But then all her actions showed me that she might've killed Dawn, the other FMC, but like she didn't remember anything. So I was like eh, but bullying in a workplace. What are we-- 5? PLUS, it was painfully obvious that Dawn has autism and it sucked hearing about how people treat her. It was also weird that she had an unhealthy obsession with turtles. Like I get the similarities of how she feels vs turtles behave, but like gd girl this obsession is so weird. Then Natalie kept acting like Dawn's death had no significance so I was like though she doesn't remember, she suddenly did it. Then it turns out Dawn isn't dead. THEN, CALEB, NATALIE'S "BOYFRIEND" KISSED AND MADE LOVE TO DAWN. I was so confused like this honestly bumped the rating up. Jeez. Then Dawn wants to kill herself to get Natalie in jail. Like dude, that's intense. Anyway, the cliffhanger or the "peak" was that Dawn killed a friend of Natalie's from high school that aided in her best friend's suicide. I still don't think that part was realistic, but this book was pretty good.

Not a Peep by MT Addams (8/10) This was a dark bully romance. The first bully romance book I didn't like that much because the FMC was kinda annoying. But this one, I liked it because she was so much more mature. Like she wasn't stupid and didn't try fighting back knowing nothing will change. I didn't expect the MMM attraction/love story, but I liked it. It made sense as how the three guys were so close. Also, the guys were attractive unlike the ifrst one I read. Although, I would lowkey want to continue to read the other one. And it was HOT. Love it, but at the end, although it was a HFN, I didn't feel led on. The second book feels like a second story and not a continuation. I enjoyed this book more because for some odd reason, I was able to differentiate fantasy/fiction from reality, and when I did that, it made me enjoy the book more. So I'm glad I liked this book sm. I feel bad that I won't be indulging in the second book, but it is what it is. At least they all got engaged at the end.

Scoring the Player by Rebecca Jenshak (8/10) This book was cute and in my personal opinion, non-toxic. I love Rebecca Jenshak's books, and I love the fact that Dahlia is such a non-toxic, mellow girl. I didn't relate to her bc she was a golf girlie, but the fact that this is her first relationship and she doesn't know what to do but isn't freaking out or overthinking makes me want to hug her. Felix is such a sweetie for "taking Dahlia under his wing" to protect her. Along the way, they fell in love, and it was cute. When they "broke up", I was sad, but Dahlia made me realize what a strong woman is. I'm so excited to finish the series.

The Draft by Ana Shay (6.95/10) Lowkey disappointed at how this was. It had all my favorite tropes, but the FMC was actually insufferable. Like babygirl needs to be humbled. I get that she's young and excited to be in college and live the college life, but like why do you push yourself on people? Not only did she push herself on her brother's team, which is understandable honestly, she forced Dash to admit his feelings. And the whole time they were messing around, the misunderstanding was insane and how they both immediately went to extreme circumstances gave me the ick. The Graham Effect (7/10) I enjoyed this one, but I don't think about it often. Gigi Graham is a GRAHAM so I thought I would be obsessed, but I was not. It's just weird seeing Garrett as a dad and just so not understanding, but also, Gigi being all grown up and needing a FWB. I get the connection, but I felt like it was just forced proximity and didn't feel the chemistry as strongly as I thought it would be. Maybe it's just because following up with Garrett and Hannah would be very hard. And how they got married???? I'm like... bro? Idk I didn't feel the connection as much which disappointed me.

Love, Within Reason by Everalda Ocampo (7.5/10) I got this as an ARC read a while ago and never got around to it. Though I'm glad I got to it now. I honestly thought this one was cute. I didn't like Mari, the FMC, at first, which is already a bad sign, but as the story progressed, I thought she was very understandable and her opinions were valid. I thought the close family dynamic was very fun and although very annoying at times, it gave a sense of closeness for me. I liked how fun Marcos, the MMC, was. He was a juxtaposition of Mari and I thought they were super cute together. This was a quick, cute read. Too bad it was very fast paced, but it made sense. It was a perfect in between book.

The Road Less Traveled By by Emily Tudor (8.5/10) I got this as an ARC and lemme tell you how proud I am of Emily and her writing. It seems like she grew into her writing and oh my god I love it. I don't know too much about Taylor Swift and how this book is an album or song or whatever, but this book was chef's kiss. It follows a social media influencer x bodyguard, and it opened my eyes to bodyguards, honestly. I didn't see the appeal in Vince, the MMC, but I am so in love with both of them together. I felt the love radiating from my screen and it made me melt. It was wholesome. I am in absolute love with Bree, the FMC. She had a stalker and now that he's out again, she needs a bodyguard with her. Vince has been her bodyguard before and he came back for her. Okay, first off, swoon. Just the way Bree slowly reclaims herself and Vince watching her proudly just makes me swoon. It's a slow burn, but the spice? JEEEZ. I love u Bree and Emily.

Hooked by Emily McIntire (6.6/10) This was my first step into a real dark romance and let me tell you, I was underwhelmed. Maybe it was just the book, but I was like.... That's it? I get it, it's forbidden and there's unaliving aspects and stuff, but I have read heavier shit. AND, it's also a Peter Pan/Captain Hook retelling so it's also my first in that. I don't know what to say. I was super underwhelmed and didn't care for any of the characters whatsoever. Like it wasn't bad, but it was cringy. And what do you mean she gets off by choking HERSELF? Okay... Anyways...

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (9/10) This was one of my thrifted books so I went into this blindly. Based on the blurb, I was hooked, but I didn't fully know like the tropes and all that. Honestly, reading the back, it seemed like I was about to read The Hating Game over, which isn't bad, but it's just like a book I liked when I first started reading. I don't know if I'd fully love it now. But this one, oh my god. I HAD TO FINISH IT. There were some dumb parts like why Olive, the fmc, just didn't acknowledge her boss on the honeymoon like when they meet in the office, she could've been like 'oh, that was my twin sister.' I get that's why Ethan and Olive get together, but also like that part pissed me off how she was fired for lying off the job. I wanted Ethan to grovel more, but their love story was honestly so cute. I couldn't stop giggling and kicking my feet tbh.

Chapter 52:

Pai writes a letter back to Ken-Ken and Don, asking them about school and saying she has made it to the entrance to her "homeland"...

Pai's eating pocky, looking at the artifacts and Yakumo, reading from a vase, asks Jake what "Kyou" means. An exasperated Jake asks if he's really the son of a professor while Yakumo says he would have felt better if he wasn't his son. Jake, stepping over that landmine, explains that "Kyou" means mountain of hill, which there are a lot of at Konron. It can also be interpreted as deception or falsehood. Yakumo jokes that it isn't the Kyou in "ruin" but Jake says that's a possibility. Jake then adds that eternal life can be achieved by drinking the white water at Konron...but he'll be happy just doing what he came there to do.

Yakumo is a bit worried about removing the rhombus from Pai's head but Jake says he doesn't care, he just doesn't want anybody else getting the white water. Yakumo says that's selfish and he shouldn't be such a blatant ass in front of Pai but Jake brushes him off. Then Yakumo asks why a flawed rhombus caused the monk from like ten chapters ago to explode when Pai only lost her memory? If they really wanted Pai to forget something, they could have just used something simple like hypnotism. Why the rhombus which could backfire horrifically? Yakumo is worried...so Jake bro-hugs him and tells him to just prepare the incense burner so they can complete their trip to Konron already.

Pai asks Jake if he knows how to reach the sacred place and he says he'll figure it out. They start by doing the ceremony, which means opening a gate directly beneath them. If they fuck it up, they'll all be buried alive. Jake asks Pai if she's ready and she says she is. Blood is spilt, pillar of light and...they're taken to the sacred place!

They cheer then begin to explore, the exuberance wearing off when Pai realizes that the spines littering the place is supposed to signify the place as a graveyard, finding bones buried beneath the dirt.

Bit of a bummer...but a bunch of monster birds in the air fly around a giant turtle monster who ends the chapter by summoning someone out of her back...

• Since the day you met, the two of you became much closer with the turtles. Especially Raphael.

• You found out you and him had some similarities, mostly with the problems in each other’s life. The feeling of responsibility weighing down on both of your lives; having trouble expressing weakness due to being always relied on.

• At first the poor big boy didn’t want to really open up in fear of being judged, but slowly he comes to spilling all his tears out.

• “I’m really glad we met, Y/n. Now I don’t feel so alone standing up so high.”

• Every time you visit the lair he excitedly pulls you to either the training grounds or his room. There, he shows his new moves or talks about his worries and thoughts.

• Overtime he becomes dependent on the attention; following you around to all the places you go to (without being seen as a mutant ofc).

• He just finds so much comfort in your love! He feels so safe and appreciated! All he wants to do is cling onto you!

• Of course, this becomes a problem. Primarily when you have things to do other than school or work. Even if you try to explain to him, he'll justify himself by insisting you need him just as much.

• Let's say you somehow manage to avoid him once. However, the Foot clan decides to show up and give you a little “nick”.

• Raph is right on the enemies' tail, but is enraged at the sight he finds himself at.

• Then, he breaks.

• Malewife turns into manslaughter. When the fight is over, his bloodied hands hug his terrified friend.

• "Hey, hey, it's ok now. I'm here, I'm always here. You were there for me, and now it's time I return the favor."

• He's definitely kidnapping you after the incident (or “keeping you safe” as he likes to say). His anxiety gets so bad he just can't think rationally if he doesn't know where you are at all times.

• Will ask for cuddles and forehead kisses 101%.

• Speaking of cuddles, he holds you so close and tight, to the point it’s a little suffocating. Again, calls it “keeping you safe”.

• Bro literally does almost everything with you; sleeping, eating, watching/playing anything, and ofc affection.

• He’s extremely dependent, maybe not on doing things per se, but needs you for emotional security.

• If you ever escape he'll go on a rampage, destroying everything around him until he finds you. It's so bad his brothers can't stop him.

• “Sweetie, where are you?! I’m freakin’ out!”

• His anxiety eats him up, to the point he panics if you aren’t in the same room 24/7. If you ever want privacy you’ll have to hand a plushie of yourself (graciously made by Mikey), but will only keep him busy for a few minutes.

• He’s very suffocating, but means well…If murdering and hiding bodies means well that is.

Leonardo

Type: Manipulative + Dependent (Indirectly)

• We all know he’s the master of mind games.

• His actions don’t really start until a little later in your friendship; only because he’s a dumbass about his feelings (like he's obviously some type of gay) and kept making excuses.

• It could be quite anything that will trigger him into realization but once he does, he’s unstoppable. The reason will probably be some heart-to-heart interaction, especially with all the trauma he keeps inside.

• The reason he even does manipulate is 1. he’s good at it, 2. he wants to have you rely on him, and to see him as your knight in shining✨ armor.

• Now to elaborate a bit more on the second reason he manipulates, he feels useless. He doesn't express it too much, mainly when he covers his emotions with humor. I think we all know he canonically feels useless (ex. Don Suave episode).

• So to simplify things, he feels useless, so to make himself feel better he tries to be useful to you...By making you feel helpless.

• He's subtle at first. For example, he comments about how mean your friends are sometimes, or why hanging out with him is much more fun with his portal ōdachi.

• "Y'know I was hoping that we could hang out in the Hidden City, but if you're going to shop with your other friends then I suppose I'll go alone."

• But later on, he feels you don't depend on him enough so he multiplies the intensity as time flows.

• Prepare for his unleashing. He'll start inviting you to missions (effortless ones, nothing to get you too injured) and save you if you're ever in a time of assistance. Don't worry, he'll protect you, you should never worry about your safety when you're with him.

• "You're safe, no danger when my fabulous presence is here~"

• If you're the type of person who doesn't mind being dependent then he'll be ecstatic. Calling you his "distressed darling" while snickering.

• He'll surprisingly confess like a normal, legal being. No, you can't reject him because he'll just manipulate you even more.

• If you don't like being dependent on someone too much then he might snap.

• Why can't you appreciate all he's done for you? He's just trying to be a good friend!

• He'll angrily confess, gripping your shoulders and a mad look in his eyes. "I'm doing this so that maybe, you would find me useful! So that maybe you'll see how much I- I- I love you!"

• He's a wreck and will continue to manipulate you until you finally accept his love and hardships. Once you do, you'll be a pretty normal couple, except for how oddly accepting you are of his actions.

• You're his little darling, all vulnerable without him right by your side.

(Sorry I have to go ham with him, he's the perfect material for this type of writing, and I'm similar to his personality so I can understand everything about him accurately.)

Donatello

Type: OVERPROTECTIVE + Controlling

• Really, his horrifying demeanor is quite the delicious thing to write.

• Not only is he someone of implied violence, but he's also the exact definition of many villain troupes. So he would be an excellent antagonist (which is quite literally what this blog is about).

• You see, villains usually tend to have some type of downfall before their absolute breaking. In this case, Othello Von Ryan, felt as if his inventions were never advanced enough for his family and friends (no he would never fucking admit it).

• But then you came along and god is he an excited little boy. If you show even the smallest interest in his work he'll chatter away, his eyes brighter than the moon.

• Praise him, he's hooked for life. Finally, someone sees his genius technology!

• "You need to lay your eyes upon my new circuit work! It is not only smaller, but it contains the inner workings of your phone but complex on the triple!"

• But then he notices that there's an outside world that you wander on; endangering your life every day.

• He rarely shows his emotions, but when he's alone he feels a dark worry clawing at his brain, feeding him horrible thoughts.

• What if you get hurt wandering the city? You never know what the dark corners appear to have. They could injure you so badly! Even worse, murder you!

• He overthinks things already as a sane person so it's not a surprise that he suddenly hands small but effective weaponry to you, a crooked smile of unease gleaming in the dim light of his lab.

• You appreciate the thought, but soon it becomes overboard with the things he suggests.

• He's made a protective shell for you (more on defense than offense), any sharp edges in the lair are covered in some sort of soft material, and any technology you used to own will now be destroyed and replaced by his handwork (no hackers in this household).

• You're so precious to him, and if the person he loves so much disappears, he doesn't know what he'll do.

• "I'm going to attach a non-tracking attachment to your phone, alright? You can never be sure about what people are trying to do." It includes a tracker that only he can access.

• If you ever try to stop his behavior he brushes it off and continues to work on his technology. Most likely some type of camera to watch you.

• One day, an incident happens near you and you end up being wounded, having to call him for help as the hospital bills are not worth it.

• He'll act slightly distressed, but nothing too noticeable; however, he's panicking inside and unleashing all his medical tools stashed in the corner of his lab.

• He'll ask his brothers to deliver you to his working space, getting all the chemicals and instruments ready. His mind is running wild, thinking of all possible situations that could happen.

• Once he knows you're safe and all operations are a success, he'll usher his family out of the room. Stating you need rest as he monitors your health.

• He clutches one of your undamaged limbs, tears pouring down as he blabbers, "I never express my true thoughts but darling you worried me so much! I could never bear the thought of you hurt without me there to save you!"

• You're literally unconscious and he'll be making promises about how he'll keep you safe and away from harm. Which may or may not be him keeping you trapped at the lair.

• Consider yourself an eternal hospital patient because he treats you like one. Your diet, physical activity, and even sleep schedule will be monitored by him. Daily check-ups are also another thing.

• If you ever question his drastic measure he'll just quietly mumble, "Hm whatever you say, now let's watch some Jupiter Jim as I assess your temperature and overall well-being."

• He'll admit his feelings in a secluded way and just assumes you like him back. He's the smartest, and most handsome man alive!

• Once you're together he'll try to be a little more expressive on his feelings, but not really. He'll for sure tell you his violent tendencies whenever he sees a friend of yours walking down the streets though.

• Overall, he worries a lot and can't seem to get rid of his anxiety that sky rockets whenever you're not in a designated safe area.

Michelangelo

Type: Obsessive + Delusional

• Another one great for writing. Now at first, he seems to be cheerful, and pure, when really he has a twisted mind himself (in his own adorable way ofc).

• He develops his obsession rapidly, within a few months of being friends with you. He'll ask questions about your interests and dislikes, trying to soak up any information as much as possible.

• He is an artist, so he loves viewing you as his "muse". He thinks that you can do no wrong and that the world is meant to revolve around you no one else.

• Needless to say, he loves recreating you in any shape or form. Sometimes, he'll create a recipe dedicated to you and only you. Heck, he'll try to name a shade of some color after you (even though it's already named).

• He wants to surround himself with the encompassment of you. The walls of his room are painted your favorite color, and pictures of you line up those same walls. He also has sketchbooks upon sketchbooks dedicated to you.

• "I think them standing with their arms spread out really captures their beauty!"

• He's obsessive for sure, but he's delusional too.

• He thinks that no one deserves to see you because he assumes they are worthless compared to your divinity. Which leads to him trying to worship you as if you're a god of some sort.

• He'll stop you from interacting with friends and family; with the only exceptions being his family (even then they are always on the lookout by Dr. Delicate Touch).

• Will he bring offerings? Yes, he will.

• It can be quite a few things. Most cuisine he's made or artworks he's created, but occasionally he'll write little poems about you. He is an embodiment of creativity after all.

• "My god! My deity! Will you take this artwork of you as an offering?"

• Don't try stopping him with anything really. He may be the youngest but he definitely knows exactly what to do may there be a chance you try to run away or distance yourself from him.

• He'll follow you and cling to you just like Raph, except more cautious. He believes your touch is holy so holding your hand and grabbing onto you is quite the revelation for him.

• If he ever does confess, it's a rollercoaster, honestly.

• He feels self-conscious about him not being your equal (how he puts it as anyway) and hesitates before dramatically expressing his undying love.

• He'll kiss your hand and act like you found a cure to all cancer or something.

• "Oh baby you make me so happy! I can't even say how much I love you!"

• Nothing really changes, he'll be more physically affectionate, and may possibly commit arson every time someone gets a little too close.

• But no one could ever blame such an adorable guy like him right? As if he wouldn't commit murder if it weren't for the laws of society!

April, Casey or other characters in the TMNT franchise may be major players in the plot and are therefore in the spoiler territory, and thus I will not answer questions about them.

I did not include all asks or notes I’ve got to this list since I left out ones I thought were irrelevant or repetitive.

I prefer the term “TMNT iteration” or “TMNT version” when talking about “TMNT: Once Human”. “TMNT AU” is okay, but please do NOT use “rottmnt au” as a way to refer to this iteration, since that insinuates that I have based it solely on Rise of the TMNT. I created this as if I were to create a new iteration of its own to add to the franchise. Rise certainly has it’s influences on my work and my style, but I have borrowed from various TMNT iterations and added my own spin to it to create this concept.

Hello! Welcome to my blog! I'm still kinda new to Tumblr, so it may take me a while to adjust. Anyway, here is me!

Introduction:

Y'all can just call me Ducky, you can also call me Ember! Either way is fine with me. I am a 15 year old, and ofc I'm in high school. I am a demi-girl, meaning that I use she/they pronouns ^^. I am also pansexual, meaning that I'm attracted to pans/j. I do plan on becoming a fanfic writer, bc yk, it's fun. And I do draw, but I may not be the best at it -v-. Y’all wanna read my Apritello story?

So sometimes when my artistic drive is down, the writing bug will come bite me. I’ve been working on an Apritello story for awhile that currently has three chapters that are up on my Patreon. Eventually I’ll post it publicly, but I want my patrons to have early access. Anyway here’s an excerpt from the first chapter.

It’s kind of angsty.

The summary is, April invites Donnie to join her for a long weekend at the farmhouse, which sounds romantic until you consider that she’s been plagued with visions of his accidental death and is desperate to stop it from happening.

To say there was tension in the air was a drastic understatement. Truthfully, things had been tense for a while. Blame it on cabin fever, or perhaps they were outgrowing their sewer lair, but the brothers had been quick to jump down each other’s throats. 

Leo was especially on edge, and not unlike how it had been since they were kids, his mood had set the tone for everyone else. One thing that differed from childhood though, was that he had been butting heads with Donnie, while Raph remained a mostly neutral third party. 

There was the knowledge that they were getting older and they all had desires to get out there and live their own lives, and then the realization that doing so wasn’t really possible for them in the world they lived in. They wanted what any young adults would want, but they were mutants.  The world still saw them as freaks. They couldn’t lead normal lives the way they wanted to. They knew this, they had known this all their lives. They had all been on the same page about it. They realized that living their lives in the sewer, at least most of it, was probably in the cards. April had always contested this idea, believing that the world would accept them in time. It’s not like people didn’t know mutants existed, but the turtles weren’t willing to take the risk. It’s not like they couldn’t go out and do things like they always had, but leaving the nest for good just wasn’t feasible. And they were content with this. The sewer was all they’d ever known. They’d always been together and they were happy to always be together. 

But like all families, arguments were inevitable. Familiarity breeds contempt, after all. And they were accustom to bickering. But… it was different now. Leo seemed ready to explode at the drop of a pen, Raph never seemed to be able to find enough alone time, Donnie felt like he brought more to the table than the other three combined, and Mikey… sweet Mikey was such an incurable optimist that he sought to find the positive in every situation, but they knew he did this to mask his depression.  

If asked what they were arguing about today, the simple answer would be that they were all just getting on each other’s nerves. Donnie couldn’t even remember how the argument started because they fought about trivial things so frequently, but he remembered the thing that Leo said that set him off.

“God, why is it so hard for you to just do your part? Why do we have to pick up your slack?”

Donnie was silent for a moment, almost unsure he’d heard correctly. “Excuse me?”

“You heard me, you never fucking help out with anything!” Leo’s tone implied that there was something else he was upset about that he wasn’t speaking of. 

Donnie, by his best effort, kept his voice calm and composed. “I’m sorry, are you referring to three days ago when I didn’t help clean up the disaster in the kitchen because I was literally putting the microwave back together? Or perhaps last week when you left a mess for me to clean up that you all made while I wasn’t even here? And then you got mad when I didn’t?”

Leo seemed to get more aggravated at the mention of Donnie not being there, but continued on. “C’mon man, there are four of us that live here, it’s really not asking too much for everyone to help clean up around here.” 

“Dude, I clean up after myself more than anyone. The difference is, when I make a mess, it’s in my lab rather than communal space and-“

“Oh, right, I forgot. The huge space you have that’s your’s. That none of us have.” Leo turned to their other brothers who sat near by. “Hey Raph, other than your tiny bedroom, do you have your own creative space that you can do whatever you want in? Mikey, how about you?”

Raph hadn’t spoken, but seemed invested in the exchange his brothers were having. It was impossible to tell who’s side he was on. Before Mikey could speak, Raph stopped him and said firmly, “Leave us out of this, man.”

“So now your mad at me… because of my lab?”

Leo paused, not making eye contact, before he huffed. “No.” He admitted quietly.

Normally, Donnie was used to these arguments making little or no sense, but Leo seemed genuinely angry and he couldn’t understand why. 

“Bro, what is up?” He demanded. “Why are you actually so upset?”

“I just…” Leo started. Donnie could tell there was something he didn’t want to say. Leo crossed his arms and turned away from his brother. “I just want to know… where your priorities are.”

“My priorities?” Donnie was trying not to lose his patience. He had no idea where this was coming from nor where it was going. Which meant one of two things. Either there was something his brother wasn’t telling him, or this was in fact going no where. Like, this had started out a fight about cleaning duties, and now he’s talking about priorities. If Leo did have a point, he wanted him to hurry up and make it because this argument seemed like a waste of time.

“It just…” Leo blew another huff through his nose. “It just seems like… you are… distancing yourself from us, Donnie.”

This statement completely threw Don for a loop. He hadn’t expected that at all. “What in the world are you talking about?” He asked, truly bewildered by the turn in conversation. “Because I don’t want to clean up messes that aren’t mine? Like what the hell-?”

“No, obviously it’s not that. It’s alot of things.” Leo spoke quieter now, not as impassioned. 

“Well, I would love to know what those things are, because I am completely lost here.”

“You never want to hang out with us anymore, and when you do, you act like you’d rather be doing anything else-“

Donnie cut him off with a humorless chuckle. “We’re brothers, we all get on each other’s nerves.” 

“And I get that, but we do all still live together and we all need to contribute to the household chores, and you’ve just been acting like you are so far above doing any type of housework that doesn’t directly effect you.”

“Well, excuse me Leo, sorry if when it rains and the power get knocked out and I have to go topside by myself in the cold pouring rain to fix the power line, I don’t also want to have to mop up the leak in the kitchen when none of you did anything to help!”

“Okay, you keep bring up specific instances, but I’m talking about in general-“

“No, you’re talking alot of nonsense is what you’re doing!” Donnie’s lack of patience was starting to show. “First you’re mad that you think I don’t clean enough, then you’re mad that I have a lab and you don’t? Then you say I’m distancing myself from you all…?” Donnie stood and made a move like he was going to walk away. “If you have something to say, Leo, you better just say it because this whole conversation seems like a waste of time to me. It’s late and I’m tired, so make your point, or I’m going to bed.”

“Are you distancing yourself from us because of April?”

Donnie had already started walking away, as he didn’t expect Leo to actually have a point, so he was halted to a standstill at his words. “What does she have to do with anything?”

Leo looked away again, like he didn’t actually want to have this conversation. After a moment, he sighed and continued without making eye contact. “It just seems like… I mean… I thought we were all on the same page here. We’ve had this discussion, a long time ago. We aren’t…. Human. We’re getting older and it makes sense that we’d want to start living our own lives, but… we can’t. Not really. The world doesn’t accept us, so staying down here is just how it has to be. I thought we had agreed on that. That no matter what the world thought of us, no matter that we can’t lead normal lives, at least we all had each other. But… now it seems like you have other plans, Donnie.”

He finally looked at his brother and Donnie could see the emotions in his eyes. Nothing of what he said had been new information, of course. Donnie knew, painfully well, that the world saw them as freaks and being “normal” was not a luxury they’d ever be able to have. Alot of their friends were at the point where they were starting to branch off, which didn’t help. Karai and Shinigami were currently back in Japan. It was just a visit, but the kind of visit that lasted for a month or two. Casey had gotten a hockey scholarship for a different school than the one April attended. He was trying to go pro, so he poured all his time and attention into practicing. He still came around, but not like he used to. Mona Lisa had left Earth awhile ago, also with promise to return, but they hadn’t heard from her in a few weeks. They were sure it was just a new mission she had, but that didn’t make Raph feel any better. April was the only one who still came around all the time. With most of their enemies gone, everyone was moving on and it felt like the world didn’t need them anymore. 

The pain in Leo’s voice would’ve normal made Donnie want to hug him, but it was the accusation that he couldn’t get over.

“Leo…” He gestured non threateningly with his hands. “Why are you acting like I’m not literally living down here in the sewers right along with you? And I still don’t see what April has to do with anything-” 

“Okay, I’m going to jump in here.” Raph said unexpectedly. “Look, Dude, I know we don’t… we don’t say it enough but… we would be up schitts creek without a paddle without you.” He crossed the room to give Leo a lighthearted punch in the arm. “Wouldn’t we, Leo?”

“…Yeah.”

“So because of that, the idea of you leaving is…. It’s scary.” Raph admitted. He was going to say something else, but Donnie interrupted.

“I’m not going anywhere! What in the actually hell are you guys talking about?!”

Leo rolled his eyes, apparently getting annoyed again. “Don, can we please stop pretending like you’re not going to marry April and then move in with her?”

Donnie froze. To say they touched a nerve was an understatement. April was his best friend, but truthfully, it was very painful to be her friend sometimes. His feelings for her were still just as intense as ever, but for different reason now. In his youth, he’d maintained a kind of innocent hopefulness that they would someday be together, and he never even really thought of the details of how. He knew, even back then, that it wasn’t that simple and when he really thought about it, nothing about it made sense. Which is why he didn’t think about it. Now though, after some soul searching and dropping into a deep depression which he was starting to get better from, he’d resigned himself to the reality that she would never be with him. He’d accepted it, and told himself that it was enough to just be her friend. But the truth was, that pain never went away.  They had such a close friendship, they had developed such a level of comfort with each other, but he knew it would never be enough. The idea of never seeing her again was unbearable, but to be so close to her, knowing that it was as close as he would ever get… it was torture. He didn’t care though, he just couldn’t let her go.

What really hurt was when she would talk about the next stage in her life. She was in school now, but with her grades and what she was studying, she could go anywhere. She wanted to travel, she spoke of it often. She never made any committal remarks about moving away, other than when she talked about the farmhouse and saying how expensive it is to live in the city. Her dad had signed the property over to her for tax reasons, and she would’ve inherited it anyway. She wanted to renovate it.

He was only vaguely aware that Raph and Leo were still talking.

“It’s not like we’re mad at you for finding love, that’s not it at all!” Raph was saying, obviously more concerned than Leo about ruffling his brother’s feathers. “It’s just, we need to be realistic about what would happen if you weren’t here.”

“Yeah, and the reality is, frankly, I think we all feel left behind by our friends, but we didn’t think  our clan would be breaking up as well!” Leo threw his hands up, finally letting his true feelings out. “I mean, all we have is each other, we’re the last of the Hamato clan! I can’t let this clan die, I just can’t.”

“Why do you guys feel the need to do that?” 

They stopped, taken aback by how low and serious Donnie’s voice was. He was done barking, he looked ready to bite. 

“Do what?”

Donnie’s chest felt tight and he had to taken in a sharp breath through his nose to keep his cool. “Why do you guys feel the need to not only remind me of my unrequited feelings for my… our  best friend… but now, you’re holding it against me?”

Raph looked concerned at first, but then sighed. “Donnie, c’mon, don’t act like you wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to get out of here. April isn’t going to stay in New York forever.” 

The statement, while probably true, hurt to hear. “What does that have to do with me?” He said, quieter this time. “I can’t help what April does.”  

“Dude, she is literally planning her future with you in it. Have you not noticed that?” Leo nearly screamed. “You have the opportunity to get out of here and do something with your life, and we’ll be-“

“No she’s not!” Donnie shouted back. “Are you guys smoking crack or something? Don’t say that shit to me! April doesn’t…” He paused, his words getting caught in his throat. “April doesn’t want me. I thought we’d been over this.”

Mikey, who hadn’t yet spoke, immediately picked up on how much pain Donnie was in. “Hey guys, let’s just drop it, yeah?”

Leo pressed on as if his youngest brother hadn’t spoken. “Maybe she didn’t five years ago, but she sure as shit does now.” He didn’t seem bothered by Donnie visible cringe. “I mean, dude, you’ve spent the night, alone at her house.”

“So has Mikey. And Raph once, I think.” Donnie said quietly, and Raph nodded in confirmation. “And she’s spent the night here a billion times, that doesn’t mean anything.”

“Mikey and Raph didn’t sleep in her bed.” Leo said accusingly. 

“I did.”  

They all paused and turned to the youngest brother. Raph spoke. “You did?”

“Every time I go over there, I sleep in her bed.” Mikey said matter-o-factly. “Whenever… whenever I’m sad, she let’s me come over and… she’ll listen. She doesn’t try to offer solutions, she doesn’t try and tell me things to make me feel better, she just… listens. And that’s what helps me the most. Then we watch funny videos.”

None of them commented at first. They all knew Mikey struggled with depression, but he rarely, if ever, talked about it. They all had told him at some point that they were there if he needed to talk, but he never came to any of them. One might of thought that hearing that his brother shared a bed with April might make Donnie jealous, but quite the opposite, it made him very happy and appreciative to hear about it. It made sense that Mikey would be more comfortable talking to April than to any of them, and to know that she had been there for him was comforting. Donnie wanted that for his brother. 

“See?” He said finally, more to Leo than anyone else. “April… she’s there for all of us. She cares about all of us… I’m not special.”

“Donnie, don’t say that.” Mikey offered and rose from his seat to place a hand on his brother’s shoulder. Donnie placed his own hand over Mikey’s and squeezed it, staring at the floor.  “She cares about you the most. More than you know.”

“Mikey, please, please don’t.” He said through his teeth. “I can’t… I can’t even believe we’re having this conversation right now. You know how long it took me to accept the fact that I was kidding myself by thinking there could ever be something between us? Of course you guys know, which is why it is so baffling to me that you feel the need to do this.” 

“So if April wanted you to move away with her, you wouldn’t do it?” 

Raph punched Leo in the arm again. It was a strange thing, to see Raph scold Leo for being insensitive. Donnie had had enough though.

“I’m out of here.” He turned on his heel and heading towards the turnstiles.

"Pound it!" called the superheroes as they all moved to bump their fists together.

Ladybug looked at her team. "Thank you so much everyone for your contribution. We wouldn't have succeeded without the intervention of each and every one of you!"

"I haven't helped much," said Thueban Jameel with a little sigh and a pout.

"You're joking right?" asked Ladybug. "If it weren't for you, Volpina would have succeeded in stealing Su-Han's staff. I owe you the safety of my identity, of my family and of all my friends."

Thueban Jameel blushed at the praise. "Thank you, Ladybug. But I couldn't help when my bro was sucked into the vacuum!"

Ladybug put a hand on his shoulder. "You did your best. Pigella and I arrived and attacked the akuma immediately after Chat Noir was sucked in, so it's understandable that you waited to see what would happen. It was actually a very good move. As the Snake, you need to force yourself to take a backseat. And even more so as the Peacock holder."

"Thank you, Ladybug," said Thueban Jameel, lowering his gaze.

As all temporary holders returned their Miraculous to Ladybug after detransforming, Chat Noir watched Pegabug bring Rose back to the Liberty and then come back to the alley they were hiding in to detransform. When Su-Han, Alya, Nino and Adrien met again the bluebell gaze of Marinette, the girl had the Miraculous of the Peacock and of the Turtle in her hand.

"Alya Césaire," she said, looking at her friend with a decisive frown, "this is the Miraculous of the Peacock. It provides the power of bringing emotions to life." She put the brooch in Alya's palm and smiled. "I'm giving it to you permanently; you will use it for the greater good and, one day, return it to me."

Alya gave her a grateful look. "Thank you, Marinette. I'm honoured to don such a prestigious and powerful Miraculous." She pinned the brooch to her white t-shirt, making sure that it would be hidden from the view by her orange shirt. Duusu appeared in a twirl of light.

"Hello, Mlle. Alya, it's a great pleasure to see you again!" said the indigo kwami, circling Alya excitedly and making her giggle.

"Okay, okay little fella. Jump in my pochette—" she opened her small orange side bag, signalling to Duusu to hide inside. "—We'll have a chat later and you'll tell me what you like."

Then, Marinette turned to Nino. "Nino Lahiffe," she said, handing the green bracelet to him, "this is the Miraculous of the Turtle. I'm asking you to become Carapace full time."

Nino's eyes lit up and his smile could have rivalled Adrien's in brightness. "Thank you, Ladybug. It's my honour to accept!" He fist-bumped with the turtle kwami who had appeared in a buzz of light. "And it's nice to have you permanently, little dude. We'll have fun together!"

"You're breaking about a dozen rules, Marinette," came Su-Han's voice from their right. Marinette frowned when she darted her gaze to the older guardian, but her frown disappeared when she noticed the smile on his face. "But I trust you," said the man. "You made unconventional choices in the past, and you've never failed to amaze me."

"Thank you, Master Su-Han."

Time passed, slowly but surely. Lila had left the Collège in a very suspicious haste, which confirmed to Marinette and the team of her involvement with the new Papillon.

Triggered by Ladybug and Chat Noir's suspicions, the Police started an investigation to discover what happened to her, but the cunning fox was too clever and was able to cover her traces very effectively. The only one who really paid the price of Lila's machinations was Jacques Vouche, who ended up being arrested for forging a fake contract between his diner boat company and Prince Ali. He claimed the involvement of Lila Rossi in it, but unfortunately, he was never able to prove it and Lila got away scot free.

As expected, Ladybug's and Chat Noir's testimony cleared Nathalie of all charges; the older woman took on the duty of looking after Adrien as his Legal Guardian, assisted by Gérard 'the Gorilla', until the boy turned 18.

Marinette and the team proceeded on their bumpy road towards adulthood, between akuma attacks getting more vicious and manipulating by the day, and new challenges in life and at school. But with the guidance and the mentorship of Su-Han, Marinette matured into a confident Guardian and a powerful leader.

She didn't know what the future would entail to her, or when and if they would manage to defeat the new Papillon. One thing she knew for sure though: Ladybug and Chat Noir would always be there to protect the citizens of Paris. Whatever the challenge, they would face it together, or die in the attempt.

Together, until the end of time.

That's the END! Yes… T_T even this one is over, i can't believe it I managed to evite a chapter every day for this snippet challenge! I'm super proud, I didn't think I had it in me! Now I'll need to catch up with A LOT of sleep, my coffee will miss me…
