"I'm back, baby!" Kieran throws an arm around Han's shoulders, jostling him slightly. "Long time no see, man" (He wanted to say hi)

"Not you again."

While Han's cadence remains serious, a glint in his eyes shows that he's content seeing Kieran again, and the subsequent smile that spreads on his lips does nothing but prove it.

"Where did you run off to?"

For a moment, Han thinks Kieran hasn't heard him, which certainly beats the idea that he's choosing to ignore him. That idea would've taken hold if he hadn't received a response within the next 20 seconds and an offer to take a hit of his joint.

Han bites and takes a long drag that allows him to think about how much he wants to share—it's not that he doesn't trust Kieran with his problems, but he just doesn't want to talk about it.

At his third question, he smirks: That wouldn't be the worst of ideas, would it?

"I don't feel like going home tonight, y'know?"

Han turns his whole body towards Kieran, still holding the blunt between his fingers.

"I'll make it up to you, promise."

Kieran's first instinct is to say yes, just as his second instinct is to say yes. Though he hesitates for a moment, using a drag of a joint as an excuse. He doesn't want to sound too agreeable or like the other man has any sort sway over him. But Han isn't just anyone. He isn't one of the boys in his crew. He's as far away from business as he could hope to be right now. There's no need to second guess himself.

He brushes his knuckles against Han's, offering a joint he'd been smoking. "Why? You tangled up in something?" He asks it lightly enough, any edge in his voice is softened by the sly quirk in his brow. Warm brown eyes ask a third question: 'Would you like to be?'
