Homemade turmeric chicken for nasi lemak ayam. Simple recipe: 7 chicken wings (wing and leg attached = 1) 1 &1/2 Tbsp lime juice 1 tsp sea salt (or 2 Tbsp Hao Chi all in one seasoning) 2 Tbsp Turmeric 1 &1/2 Tbsp corn or potato starch 2 Tbsp water Marinate 24 hours Deep fry in peanut oil (best for flavor) Pre-heat oil on high heat for about 8-10 minutes. Slowly drop in (with metal tongs) Wings. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side( 3-4 minutes after dropping in oil flip wings & cook for another 3-4 minutes).
