This probably won’t make a lot of sense, but do any of you half-hear songs?

What I mean by this is sometimes if I’m listening to music, I hear parts of it and think ‘oh that’s [SONG A]’ but it doesn’t quite match up as it’s actually [SONG B], so I go through an short period (about 30s) of slight auditory disorientation (?) as my brain tries to play the lyrics of Song A on the tune of Song B.

For example, a few minutes ago (this is what prompted me to make this post) I thought I was listening to Strip that down by Liam Payne, but I soon realised that it was Get Down from SIX! The Musical

Also, whilst typing this I experienced it again, I again thought I was hearing Strip that down, but it was actually Who Do You Think You Are by the Spice Girls
