🦈 Daily Shark Fact: 🦈

The Taiwan Spurdog was accidentally discovered in a Taiwanese fish market by two scientists. This endangered shark is endemic to China, Taiwan, and South Korea. There is not much known about its behavior as it lives in depths up to 2600ft near the continental shelf. They are assumed to be very shy, as there is no record of divers having ever seen the Spurdog during explorations.

EXIF: 26mm, f/9, 193 secs, ISO 100. Time: 19:04 on 21 June 2024. Location: Xiangshan (Taipei, Taiwan). From our Taipei trip last month. Didn't get any sunny evening for 6 nights (once again 😥), but still hiked to Xiangshan (Elephant Mountain) to shoot Taipei skyline at blue hour.
