We've actually reorganized parts of this since the photo. But we thought we would go behind the scenes again and show you part of our shipping and printing stations! ���️ On the left are our two paper cutters. Inks and photo props on the left of the shelf. Label printer and our scanner/laser printer. We also have a Canon Pixma Pro - 100 cut off at the far left of the photo. Center of the shelves has all of our general art supplies. Markers, Inks, Pencils .. all that stuff. Space is tight in our little apartment .. so you can see where our kitchen starts to overlap haha. Up at the top of the shelves, we keep our paper and smaller shipping tube stock. Under the table, we keep larger tubes and bubble mailers. Additionally, the growing requirements to use tubes and pipes in constructing buildings quickly in an eco-friendlier way as they can be recycled at almost 90%. What this means for laser cutting in Ontario is more services because of its faster cutting speeds and high precision cutting.  

 Moreover, the improved efficiencies of fabricating downstream a laser makes it suitable for cutting pipes, tubes, and other structural materials. A host of laser cutting machines can provide the requirements for high accuracy and 6-axis laser technology as well as for handling thicker, longer and heavier materials. Plus, the invention of direct diode laser technology also facilitates easier and faster cutting speeds for laser cutting.

Boardroom Table Design for HDCH in Canada

Boardroom Table Design for Hamilton District Christian High School

Another boardroom table design I finished recently, this time for the Hamilton District Christian High School in Hamilton, Ontario, CA.  The table is currently being handcrafted by Drew Neven & Steven Voortman from the Hammertown Industrial Furniture in Canada. I call it a “Happy Table”, don’t you think it looks HAPPY?

Boardroom table’s top frame consists of 2″x 2″ steel angle, and 1″x1″ tubing. It is divided into several sections made of concrete, steel and wooden planks. HDCH’s logo will be laser cut from a steel plate (part of the top surface), powder coated and re-inserted into the same plate.  Logo’s rectangular element projections extending to the floor become the supporting column under one side of this table.

The two wooden planks further dividing table’s top on its opposite end rest on top of wooden columns / legs. All the remaining spaces in the frame will be filled with concrete.

Actual table pictures will be posted as soon as they are available.
