Donavia, a former Russian airline, was a division of Aeroflot and operated domestic and international flights from southern Russian cities. Donavia's base airports were located in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Sochi and Mineralnye Vody. The company's head office was located in Rostov-on-Don. The Rostov United Aeroflot Squadron was founded on June 15, 1925, which later became one of its largest divisions. In 1993, squadron was reorganized into Don Airlines (Donavia). In the spring of 2000, Donavia, with the support of Aeroflot, founded the airline Aeroflot-Don, but in 2009 the airline returned to its former name Donavia. In 2016, the airline was integrated into Rossiya Airlines.

Kivonták a forgalomból az utolsó Tupoljev-154 típusú személyszállító repülőgépet – jelentette be az Alrosza orosz utasszállító légitársaság.

A háromhajtóműves, közepes távolságra 152-180 utast szállító Tu-154-esek a cég szerint a legmegbízhatóbb és a legegyszerűbben üzemeltethető gépek voltak, egész évben forgalomban voltak az ország legzordabb és legforróbb vidékei között.

A 154-es volt a Tupoljev első, kimondottan polgári célokra kifejlesztett repülőgépe. A típus először 1968. október 3-án szállt fel, sorozatgyártása pedig két évvel később kezdődött.

A Malév az első üzemeltetők közé tartozott, előtte csak az Aeroflot és a bolgár Balkan bővítette flottáját Tu-154-esekkel.

Az egykor magyar légitársaságnál a típus 28 évi üzemeltetése során 18 gép volt használatban, 2001-ben vonták ki őket a flottából.

Registration: HA-LCV Type: Tu-154B-2 Engines: 3 × NK-8-2 Serial Number: 0544 First flight: 1982

MALÉV Ltd., which did business as MALÉV Hungarian Airlines (Hungarian: Magyar Légiközlekedési Vállalat, abbreviated MALÉV), was the flag carrier of Hungary from 1946 until 2012. Its head office was in Budapest, with its main hub at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. The airline flew to over 50 cities in 34 countries with a fleet of 22 aircraft. Malév joined the oneworld alliance on 29 March 2007. On 3 February 2012, Malév ceased operations. The first of 18 three-engine Tu-154 jetliners was delivered to Malev in 1972, and the last one was decommissioned in 2001.
