I promise you I care not for inconsistencies, and more for this alchemist boy and his silly raccoon.

(Also fun fact about this AU: Ruddiger tends to nudges Varian's face with his own to let him know he's there, and at some point Varian starts doing it to Ruddiger. It's basically a reassurance thing, and tends to only happen when Ruddiger is on Varian's shoulders.)
