Having Pai give this speech to Tin, Tin who just wants to be accepted and loved for who he is but is constantly pushed away by a guilt-ridden mother and by Park who doesn't know what to do about their feelings for each other... oh, it's good but it's also painful. It gives him someone to trust and someone who knows him but it's also a warning of what might happen to him and what he risks with being himself. (You have to be perfect to be gay and accepted but no one is perfect and no one can be.) @absolutebl I love these messages in shows, honestly, especially the goofier ones.

Finished Till the End of the Moon

Really, honestly loved the ending even though it was obviously truncated. I read someone of Reddit talking about how it takes TTJ, a suicidal character gives him all this character growth, then has him kill himself. Framed that way, it sounds gross as hell, but imo, the story isn’t about him. The protagonist is LSS from episode 1 and TTJ was the antagonist from jump. She grows as a character, achieves enlightenment, and becomes a god, sacrificing her love (literally and figuratively) for the sake of the world. TTJ was always a trial, no matter how much we love him and his deranged little face. It makes me think of 1997s Titanic. Framed as Jack’s story, its pretty horrible that he gets absolutely shafted through the whole story because he is not the protagonist, he’s the love interest.

writing update

I'm writing chapter 5 of remixed!!! that should be up today. i might have it beta read with would mean it gets up later but i prolly wont so whatever.

i'm going to reformatt the traveller's journal on ao3 so keep an eye out for that one. tumblr will probably get more updates than ao3 three does but ao3 will get bigger updates

after I finish this chapter of remixed i'll prolly do a chapter of focus on the main mission.

It's the way Tin is absolutely in love with Park and we get glimpses of how much Park loves him in return but also the way that the tragedy that happened shaped their friendship and relationship and future. Because Park still feels guilty for what happened to Tin's father and Tin is desperately seeking his mother's love when she won't even come near him... And it's the way Tin is immature but that's part of how he sees the best in people and how he loves people and how he tries to make the world just a bit better because his world really isn't that good despite his smiles.
