#tsumugi is about as blunt and honest as they come

adding onto my last rant from a while ago a little bit, it is fascinating how many people in this fandom completely miss the point of tsumugis character and misconstrue what hes actually about which, ironically, is just what eichi did. and its done in such a similar fashion too, such as making assumptions about his motives, his family relationship, and missing the point in why he chooses to look the way he does. and, time and time again, eichi has been proven to be WRONG about tsumugi. he misunderstood him deeply, and now its eichi whos stuck mourning the past while tsumugi has long since moved on, not the other way around, as tsumugi is on the path of getting his happy ending. and i dont get why people keep trying to take this positivity from him
(s. element epilogue 2)
#sorry for harping on this stuff alot it just genuinely sucks seeing a character you love be so widely misunderstood#especially when if you really think about it#tsumugi is about as blunt and honest as they come#you dont always need to read deeper into a character. you dont always need to psychoanalyze every part of them#you dont need to reason everything#sometimes people just Are Some Kind Of Way#and eichi failed to understand that and made the wrong assumption about tsumugi#and i feel like this fandom keeps doing the same thing#because he can do and say unconventional things#and when he makes jokes he sounds super alarming or like an utter freak#its frustrating when people continuously doubt tsumugis words when he speaks so earnestly about his life#hes honest to a fault. he has no reason to lie#you can argue that “ohhh tsumugi just doesnt realize how fucked up he is!” and like Yea sure theres an element of that#but ive always read the point of his character to be him overcoming these hardships#because he cares so fucking deeply about every single person around him#and he never assumes malice. because he is such a genuinely kind hearted guy#and what makes tsumugi so interesting is that he can kind of SUCK at getting that across#because no matter what people never understand his actions or intents because of how weirdly he acts#and neither does this fandom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#natsume and tsumugi are built on being opposites. if natsume is a known liar surely we can put two and two together?#theres alot more that can be said on this topic and ive been meaning to for a while but honestly i just dont have the energy or brainpower#also i dont want this to read like im yucking anyones yum. its just frustrating as someone who is very mentally ill about these characters#he has clearly endured traumas too like im not ignoring that. its super obvious. but his character is about love and growth#you can go through literal HELL and be on the brink of SUICIDE and still end up a happy loving and forgiving person#and i think thats what his character is about#nat rambles#nats enst posting

Furuichi Sakyo
Falls First: You
Falls Harder: Sakyo
He definitely thinks you’re a little crazy. What’s so appealing about a worn out, money grubbing yakuza like him? Surely it’s not the late night B movie marathons, and certainly not the way he shed tears at the slightest sentimental moments that let you know he cherishes making memories deeply. He held himself at such a distance for so long that his descent was inevitable, it was hard to be a tough guy when one person always managed to wrangle out your hidden affectionate side. But being brave enough to even search for it earned you brownie points, so Sakyo almost felt like he had no choice but to give in lest he create more trouble for himself.
Hyodo Juza
Falls First: You
Falls Harder: Juza
No ones seen him the way you have. Even when he stumbled, or messed up a line, or proved he’s hopelessly awkward when it comes to expressing his feelings, you had never laughed at him. He doesn’t feel deserving of your friendship or admiration let alone your love, not when you had done so much to defend him and more while he simply existed in your world with no clue on how to show you how he felt. He had never understood any of Muku’s romance manga but he was slowly starting to understand what it meant to want to protect someone’s smile.
Sakisaka Muku
Falls First: Muku
Falls Harder: Muku
When a true romantic falls in love an angel gets their wings, as well as there being an extra layer of dedication added into the mix. He’s so specific with courting you right, making handmade crafts or homemade food as presents, wanting to give you everything he could possibly get his hands on. He wanted you to see the best parts of him not realizing that life was not a fairy tale; to truly love a person, you needed to know their flaws as well. Knowing you wanted to love him to the fullest extent possible made his heart stop in his chest, even while he still had plenty of growing to do. He hoped that was an adventure you could make together.
Settsu Banri
Falls First: You
Falls Harder: Banri
Hardly one to fall for a traditional romance, Banri was stubborn as a mule when it came to giving his heart away. For all the flirting he did with you there was still a carefully crafted gap, a purposeful distance, a man who was shockingly considerate of what a relationship with him might do to a person. He had never felt loyalty so strongly like he did to you, the complicated dance you partook in all the more invigorating for him. Finding someone who could match his rhythm, meet him step for step without faltering, was a partner that Banri couldn’t simply ignore.
Takato Tasuku
Falls First: You
Falls Harder: You
You are bold to take on the challenge that is Takato Tasuku. Even more single-minded than Tsumugi, you might have to take more drastic measures to draw his attention. It’s almost like he’s unwilling to see what’s right in front of him, but he wasn’t a fool. He’s not afraid of change either but he doesn’t want to partake in a relationship with impossible standards. He can be thoughtful and display his honest feelings, but you had to understand that he’s human above all else. He’s not the charming prince persona he was forced to play countless times in his Godza days; he didn’t always know what to say, and sometimes he might be too blunt, but it didn’t make the love he felt for you any less real.

Danganronpa V3 characters Most to Least likely:
to take their S/O’s side during a scrum debate, knowing their S/O is lying
Sort of an imagine + most to least likely list due to my explanation of each scenario. Warning: spoilers for the entire game throughout.
-Mod Kokichi
Kokichi Ouma - Once he’s in love with you, he’s ride or die to the point that he doesn’t care if he or the others die for you. Plus, lying at the scrum debate and winning doesn’t technically mean the trial goes poorly or that his S/O is the culprit, it’s just a step to find more evidence and weed out traitors, and that’s just how he would justify it to himself. Plus, it’s just waaaaay more fun to spice up the trial with your lies~
Kaito Momota - He chose to love you, right? So he has to believe in you. You must have a good reason for lying, he thinks, but even if you don’t, some people are just worth dying for.
Tenko Chabashira - A similar mindset to Kaito. She will trust her S/O, believing that there’s no way you could be malicious, and wanting to believe your true heart is pure to the very end. Even if she’s not confident with her decision to support you, she’s gonna yell and fight like she is.
Kaede Akamatsu - She wouldn’t choose an S/O who would lie to save themselves and let everyone else die, so if you’re lying, it must be for a good reason.
Shuichi Saihara - A mix of Kaede and Kaito’s reasoning, he believes that he chose a good person to love, and believes in your intellect. You must be lying to twist the trial in a positive way. He did point out Kaede’s lie in the first trial reluctantly, but he just had a mild crush on her...he LOVES you, and whereas Kaede asked him to expose her lie, you were clearly wanting him on your side. He just couldn’t turn against you.
Ryoma Hoshi - He wouldn’t lie for a friend or aquaintence in a trial, being a very blunt and honest guy, but if the only person in this world who gave him a reason to live and loves him needs him on their side, you’re damn right he’s going to lie for them.
Rantarou Amami - Amami isn’t a selfish guy. He’s loved many people in his life: siblings, parents, friends, previous lovers. He knows what it means to sacrifice and even though he is the Ultimate Survivor, it was because he’s good at it, not necessarily for selfish reasons. If his little sister had been throw in this killing game or the previous one he was in, he would die for her in an instant, an he would die for you. So...he trusts you. And after a bit of a shocked expression and wondering what you’re up to, he would join in and lie with you, and he’s so confident and smooth that he might just fool the majority of your classmates.
Korekiyo Shinguji - Make no mistake, Kiyo has no trouble lying on his own behalf...but for others, no. He would be very conflcited at first, even trying, subtly and gracefully, to get you to tell the truth and sweating over your lies in the trial, because deep down, he can be a very selfish person. No one has ever wanted him in their lives and he’s a loner, so self-preservation always came first. Why stick his neck out or care about people who bully/ostracize/judge him? Why see other humans as anything other than objects of beauty, precious but ultimately not as valuable as his own life, just as an artifact would be. But...you didn’t look at him like that, like he was a creep or inquire about his mask and habits. He had fallen in love with you, realizing his relationship with his sister growing up was something traumatic and not normal, very much forced on his young mind. He had to...he had to lie for you.
Tsumugi Shirogane - As the mastermind, she can easily tell where the trial is headed and can probably make Monokuma say some stupid reason or new rule for getting you out of your lies later on, so she’s willing to lie for you in the debate, putting on her innocent and naive facade, just with a new layer of lovesick.
Miu Iruma - This would go one of two ways. 1. She genuinely doesn’t know you’re lying and sides with you, barking at your opponents in your defense, or 2. She knows you’re lying and the anger behind her words thrown at your opponents is half for them for accusing you, and half for you for being a dumbass, lying little bitch who now has dragged her into this. If you both survived this trial, she would chew you out later.
Himiko Yumeno - She doesn’t want to die, but as seen in-game, she quickly loses heart when it comes to losing people she loves or being pressured. She would hesitantly tell you to stop lying and that she trusted you, so how could you act like this, but would slowly lose the will to fight and want to take your side because she loves you, even going as far as to say something like: “Nyeh...I know S/O is lying, b-but, but I’m gonna take their side until the very end, and I’m not gonna vote for them. I...I just can’t,” while trembling softly. And shame on you for making her feel that way.
Maki Harukawa - She wouldn’t associate herself with, much less date someone who lies for the wrong reasons. She would lie for you if she felt it was necessary or for the greater good or moving the trial in the right direction, but would avoid voicing her opinion in the trial altogether unless her hand is forced. Maki is more likely to call out your bullshit bluntly and in a monotone voice, before forcing you to tell the truth to the others and own up to what you did. If you were only lying to find evidence or save face, she wouldn’t even bring it up after the trial, but if your lie was to cover for you killing someone, she would close her eyes during your execution and silently pretend it didn’t hurt as much as it did, crying later when absolutely no one could see her. They would be tears of grief over losing her one true love, and tears of anger at your selfishness and her stupidity in choosing to love you.
Angie Yonaga - “Atua says it’s alwaaaays better to speak the truth!” She says while posing her hands in a praying position. You saw how she threw Himiko under the bus in the second trial, there was no way she was lying for you or dying for your stupid lie. If it was a lie to keep the trail moving, oh well, she exposed you. If you lied and died as the culprit, oh well, it is better to be with Atua anyway, and she can find other people to be around easily. Additionally, I really see Angie as aromantic or averse to real romantic relationships. I think she would see her S/O as someone who cares about her and Atua, and is easy to manipulate, but who she admits she likes spending time with more than others. Still not lying or dying for you though.
Gonta Gokuhara - the key word here is knowing his S/O is lying. If he is convinced you’re not lying even when you are, he will take your side until convinced otherwise by his friends. He loves you so very much, but gentleman don’t lie, and he believes that his S/O should always tell the truth. “S-S/O, telling lies only hurt yourself and others. Gonta knows you are good person. Only bad people lie!” He would be heartbroken that you want him to take your side and expect him to lie, and has a very the-truth-shall-set-you-free mindset. Plus, I don’t think Gonta would think so far ahead as to see that the truth may get his beloved killed. He’s thinking of the here and now, this particular conversation. And you shouldn’t be lying to your friends.
Kirumi Tojo - If Kirumi ever let herself get close enough to you to fall in love, she would still set strict boundaries for herself, and have a very professional/master and maid type relationship with you. She would comfort you more and maybe blush at your contact or flirty advances but not reciprocate too much becasue there is a part of her that keeps every relationship in her life at a arm’s length. She won’t let herself truly love. No one can break down her wall, for that’s what makes her perfect to serve unconditionally. When realizing you’re lying, because oh, she definitely would, she would close her eyes, a small frown on her face. She’s disappointed in you, but reminds herself again why she doesn’t get close to people. She sighs, exposing your lies calmly to the others with phrases a little less cold than usual, such as: “I’m sorry, S/O, but that’s not the complete truth and I can’t allow it.”
Kiibo - Simply put, no matter his feelings toward you, Kiibo knows that in this trial, lying could lead to everyone dying. A handful of friends and himself dying for a liar is just not fair. He wouldn’t lie with or for you. In the best case scenario inside his careful and analytical mind, you are exposed for lying and it was a petty lie or doesn’t mean you’re the culprit. I the worst case scenario, it leads to your death. And while he feels the closest feeling to human love he has ever felt for you, he can’t let a bunch of innocent friends die for your lie. He would miss you, and be very depressed about losing you and maybe never try to have a relationship like this again, but his decision is what was ethically and morally right.

hi! may i request a kin matchup? any source is fine! i'm an infp (mediator) and very empathetic; i get along better with animals than with people. i'm honest to a fault and open about my feelings, which may come across as blunt to some people, and i hate liars. i can be a tad too trusting at times, though, which usually lands me in a lot of trouble. finally, i'm autistic and i have many, many interests that i can't seem to get over... i hope this is enough, thank you!
grrr you sound so nice... yep! that info is plenty, and you can absolutely request a kin matchup, anon! let’s go ahead and get to it !! just a warning, though... this one gets long.
first off, from danganronpa, i match you with...
ryota mitarai!
honestly, i bounced around a lot on this one. first i said gundham, then gonta, then tenko, then kiibo... so now we’ve landed up here at ryota, who, um... i hope you’re okay with him being from the anime. i can’t really put my finger on why my thoughts kept landing on him, but you just- the way you type has such a ryota vibe to it. you know? so, hear me out. i think that ryota definitely shares the introvert trait with you, as he’s somewhat asocial, and art is a pretty ideal introvert’s activity. i think that he is very empathetic, or at least tries to be, though he can get a little stuck in his own head sometimes- but i think you can relate to that with your bluntness about your feelings. ryota does try very hard to be kind to others, and this shows with how determined he is to craft the hope-anime, as he says several times that his genuine motivation behind making the video was to make the world a better place. however, i do think that he could get along with animals better than people, as he is very timid and lacks self-confidence, as well as lacking a will to socialise. while i’m not calling you a recluse, ryota was also a shut in for a lot of his early life, which... isn’t the best for your social skills, to put it short. he would get along with animals better because he just- struggles to get along with people. it’s not that he’s a bad person, but he’s not good with his words- and animals don’t need words.
i think that although he doesn’t like liars, thanks to that overwhelming sense of justice he has, ryota can get tunnel vision on what he wants to do and will accidentally lie, in a sense? the way he lets the imposter take his place. in my eyes, that’s more a borderline lie, than actually trying to maliciously deceive others. he is very honest about his feelings, as whenever junko is initially disinterested in anime, he insists that it’s an important part of their culture. cue the waifu line. i generally got the blunt vibe from him, as he’s not afraid to show what he’s feeling, even if it can come off as rude or like he’s disinterested in others ("I don't have time to be buddy-buddy with everyone. I... I need to create anime." -the wiki). he also is rather trusting in junko, as he doesn’t seem to really catch onto what junko’s ulterior motive is, even as he witnesses her casual violence. while i’m not sure if ryota is neurodivergent or not, he definitely has an enormous interest in anime that i can’t see him getting over for a while. plus, anime/animation is a very broad genre, and i can see him being very interested in other aspects of the field as well- such as the stories, art in general, and character design.
second off, from bang dream(bandori), i match you with...
hina hikawa!
...though mayu suzumoto and yoshiki kishinuma from corpse party are close seconds! i don’t think you have her exact same vibe, but i still think you and hina are very similar! i think that while hina is rather cheerful, she can be more introverted as she... generally just doesn’t seem like the biggest fan of other people. i’d also say she gets along with animals better than them, which will be expanded upon later. hina is very intelligent, and she tends to find the people around her interesting because she doesn’t understand their feelings or actions. while i think that she does diverge from you here, she is very much learning empathy through the other members of pastel palettes- it’s small, but i’d argue that in the mole person event story, she’s much more understanding of the others’ concerns than she was at the beginning of the pastel*palettes’ band story. she is very honest and blunt, and can even accidentally insult others, which is... shown many a time. she’ll casually say that aya is kind of an airhead, and that she originally joined pastel*palettes to kill time. this... definitely borders on blunt. she tries to be nice, i’d argue, and is encouraging and supportive overall despite this- the way you seem. she’s both candid and kind, which is something i think you can relate to!
i think that hina does dislike liars- or rather, they would be the complete opposite of her. beside boring people, i think she would dislike those that don’t have anything truthful to say about themselves the most. hina likes teasing aya, because aya is truthful in who she is and always has a genuine reaction. she also gets bothered whenever chisato is hiding something from the group, i’d say partly because she didn’t know what it was. even with maya in the halloween escape room event story, she went ahead and pointed out how maya was ‘obviously’ the mastermind behind it all, and maya fessed up. hina can typically predict that stuff, liars would just be getting in the way of the truth- at least, that’s how i see her. i think she can be rather trusting, though, as she let the mastermind-maya lead them through the haunted house(even if it might have been hazardous), and in general has lots of faith in herself, as well as the people around her. i think this is partially because she’s around very honest people like aya, but it still shows in her relationships with people like ran and misaki. um... like ryota, i do headcanon her as neurodivergent! plus, she also has several interests. these include volleyball, astronomy, extraterrestrial/supernatural life and cryptids, aromatic oils(she makes them), and of course guitar!
and lastly, from my little pony, i match you with...
twilight sparkle!
so... thanks to my friend @packoradical for helping me out with this one! she was the one that suggested twilight to me, and i completely agree! first off, similar vibes, second off, i think that twilight at the very least has the i, f, and p parts down of her mbti type. she is very empathetic and tries really hard to understand others, growing from her asocial self that she was at the beginning of the series. to take it literally, i think she had a lot of trouble in the human world at first. however, i think that getting along with animals more than people can also apply to her in the equestrian world- after all, spike was her closest friend before she moved to ponyville, and even then her friendship with the mane six had to develop before she really got along with all of them. in my eyes, spike has always been closest to her at the end of the day. while twilight can be a bit reserved at times, there are plenty of times where her feelings are clear and obviously known. this can be seen as early as in the first episode, where she actively chooses to sleep instead of try to hang out with the other ponyville residents, to the equestria girls movies where she’s... very obviously awkward and uncomfortable with her new situation, to her varied irritation and panic when it comes to villains like tirek and chrysalis.
i’d also argue that twilight hates liars- she doesn’t take kindly to being deceived or misinformed(see the entire chrysalis-cadence arc, her distrust of discord after his first antagosism, and the claims about zecora in bridle gossip), but she can also be too trusting.. once again, seeing the chrysalis-cadence arc. this is mostly not to disrupt the peace, as she can catch onto that sort of thing, but tries to dismiss it as her own protectiveness or paranoia. i think you could find yourself maybe relating to the latter! i do headcanon twilight as neurodivergent, just like the others... though that’s just a headcanon(maybe it’s canon and i don’t know?), and she does have many interests and developed skills, as displayed over the show! for example, she’s really into the indiana-jones like daring do book series, studies magic intensely, has an interest in (equestria’s, specifically) history, and acts as a teacher to several characters! they’re all very studies and stereotypically introvert hobbies, but she still does a lot of different things!
-
call me minecraft, cause it’s time for minor matchups! that made no sense, sorry. from danganronpa, there are a lot, you also remind me strongly of kiibo, gundham tanaka, and tenko chabashira, as well as somewhat of mahiru koizumi, seiko kimura, and gonta gokuhara! from kakegurui, you remind me a bit of yumeko jabami. from corpse party, you also reminded me very strongly of yoshiki kishinuma, strongly of seiko shinohara, and somewhat of ayumi shinozaki! from mario, you remind me somewhat of luigi. from bang dream, you also remind me of yukina mintaro, ran mitake, and tae hanazono. lastly, from my little pony, you also remind me a bit of fluttershy, scootaloo, and rainbow dash.
alright, there we go! um... sorry, this is like... a whole essay i wrote. hope this was okay though, anon, and i’m so sorry it took so long to post! if you need any info changed, just let me know!
-mod tsu (idk what shift but let’s go with tsumugi to be safe)
#kin matchup#that's rly it.... haha.#woah. this is a long one too AFJLSDLFKJ#like i was writing the first major matchup and was like oh boy#thanks lumy for the luigi one#ask#request finished#anon

Danganronpa V3 Commentary: Part 1.8
Be aware that this is not a blind playthrough! This will contain spoilers for the entire game, regardless of the part of the game I’m commenting on. A major focus of this commentary is to talk about all of the hints and foreshadowing of events that are going to happen and facts that are going to be revealed in the future of the story. It is emphatically not intended for someone experiencing the game for their first time.
Last time, in the second half of trial 1, there were seemingly-flawless arguments for both Shuichi and then Kaede being the culprit despite neither being the truth, Kaede encouraged Shuichi to finally face his fears and passed the protagonist baton onto him, Kaito was one of the last people to accept the truth despite being one of the first besides Shuichi to notice it, and Kaede insisted she was a horrible person but Shuichi was having none of it.
Now for the post-trial conclusion and everything being heartbreaking.
Monokuma: “The blackened who killed Rantaro Amami is the Ultimate Pianist, Kaede Akamatsu!”
You big fucking liar, Monokuma.
Kaede: “Good…”
Kaito: “Wh-What…? Good? What do you mean, good!? Is this how you want it to end!?”
Kaede: “Not really, but… it could have turned out a lot worse. So this is fine, too.”
Tenko: “I-It’s not fine! This is super horrible! The worst ever!”
This is not going to be the only time that the culprit will come out of the vote smiling and relieved that everyone got it right, while everybody else freaks out and wonders how anything can be okay about the fact that their friend committed murder and is about to be executed. And I especially love that Kaito is one of the people freaking out over it this time, given where he’ll be standing the next time this happens.
Kaito: “Yeah… I won’t be satisfied… Until I hear it straight from you…”
Look at Kaito desperately wanting to understand exactly what drove someone like Kaede to do something like this.
Kaede: “Okay… Please allow me a few more moments of your time, then.”
Guh, the way Kaede says this super-politely, like she feels like she doesn’t deserve to be taking up their time after she did something so horrible, not even to explain her motives.
Kokichi: “Oh, Kaede… it never dawned on you? As soon as that thought entered your head, Monokuma had you right where he wanted. Because what mattered most to Monokuma was that the killing game started.”
Kokichi being very perceptive again. He definitely understands Monokuma’s desires and intentions better than anyone else here. Which is appropriate, because his way of thinking is not entirely dissimilar to Monokuma, at least in terms of wanting to have fun by messing with people. The only difference is that Kokichi usually only likes to mess with people in relatively harmless, petty ways, but that’s still enough to put him on the same wavelength as Monokuma in a way nobody else is.
Kokichi: “Regardless of your reasons, the moment you felt the urge to kill, you had already lost. You agreed to be part of this killing game when you allowed murder to fill your heart.”
This goes a long way to explain why, despite his selfishness and how much he secretly hates being part of this game, Kokichi never actually tries to commit a murder to escape it – because he already considers that as “losing” in the sense that he’d just be doing what Monokuma wants and playing the game.
(Mind you, what he actually ends up doing ends up serving Monokuma’s purposes even more, but since he’s not trying to purely become blackened and escape, he can tell himself he’s totally not playing the game even though he absolutely still is.)
Kokichi: “That’s why I’m so… pissed off! Pissed off at myself for being so… so useless!”
This is far too genuine-seeming a reaction from Kokichi to be truly genuine, because he would never actually be this honest about how he feels. Even if there is a part of him which actually feels this way, on the surface he is telling himself that this is just a lie and he’s only pretending to feel like this and it’s not like he actually cares at all about the fact that Kaede’s about to die, right.
Shuichi: “Kokichi… that’s enough. I can see through your act.”
Kokichi: “…Whoops. That obvious, huh?”
And it certainly looks like he’s got everyone else fooled into thinking that any accidental outbursts rooted in genuine emotion from him are totally all just lies.
Kaede: “I took an innocent life! I’m nothing but a horrible murderer! You should all hate, blame, and be disgusted by me!”
Gah, Kaede, not even expecting any kind of forgiveness or understanding for what she did despite her intentions being really quite reasonable given the awful circumstances.
Kaede: “I thought about ending this by confessing to you what I had done… But… I couldn’t. Because of Monokuma’s First Blood Perk.”
Ryoma: “I see… If you’d confessed then and there, you would’ve been able to leave… But you decided you couldn’t leave this place by yourself, so you kept quiet.”
Exactly. She wouldn’t have just been able to leave – she’d have had to leave. And there’s no way Kaede would ever want to leave on her own and get off scot-free for the awful thing she just did while everyone else remains trapped and continues to struggle and suffer without her. She’s just far too selfless for that. The only thing she ever cared about was helping everyone else escape, not herself.
Kaede: “If I did this for everyone, then instead of making things easier by confessing… I thought I should lie to you all, so it would motivate you to keep moving forward.”
So instead she did the only thing she could think of under the circumstances that would keep everyone else working together and turned herself into the villain.
Kaede: “I never wanted to keep my crime a secret… I was going to tell you all eventually… But before I did, I wanted to expose the mastermind first… Then the killing game would’ve ended, and everyone but me would be saved.”
I’m not entirely sure why the thinks that if she caught the mastermind, she would still have been executed? But regardless, hearing her be so explicit about how she was only trying to save everyone else and didn’t care one bit about herself… aaaaa.
Shuichi: “…This is my fault. I was wrong. There is no mastermind…”
Tsumugi: “You were wrong…? But didn’t you say the mastermind was one of us?”
Pff, I like how Tsumugi is the first one to question that.
Shuichi: “But even when the killer was about to be condemned, they remained hidden. That has to mean that the mastermind is not among us after all.”
This is awkwardly worded – based on the fact they’ve just been discussing the point when everyone was focused on Shuichi and then Kaede convinced him to explain that she did it, his “the killer was about to be condemned” probably actually means “I was about to be falsely voted as the culprit”. But even assuming that, it’s also a very flimsy argument. Why would the mastermind have wanted to stop people voting for Shuichi anyway? If people vote wrong, that’s just how the killing game goes. Shuichi has no reason to assume that actually the mastermind would want people to find the true culprit because they want a nice long entertaining killing game that doesn’t end at chapter 1.
Like, I can kind of understand why Shuichi drops the idea of there being a mastermind at this point because the fact that he assumed there was one in the first place was why Kaede did what she did, and he’s upset and blaming himself and lacking confidence and not thinking straight at all. But this particular supposedly-logical reason for it is frustratingly flimsy, and I wish the narrative gave more of a sense that it really is flimsy and that the real reason Shuichi is dropping the idea is simply because of his issues.
Shuichi: “If I hadn’t been so stupid… If I never said anything about a mastermind to Kaede… Rantaro wouldn’t have died… and Kaede wouldn’t be a murderer! This is all my fault!”
At least we still do get plenty of Shuichi having issues and blaming himself.
Kaede: “No, it’s not.”
Shuichi: “…Kaede…?”
Kaede: “I killed him. Not you. …Right? Didn’t I?”
Well, as a matter of fact, Kaede—
Okay but even that aside, just the very blunt way Kaede states this to try and bring Shuichi out of his self-loathing is adorable. She’s smiling as she says this.
Keebo: “If your intent was to kill the mastermind, there was no reason for you to cover your tracks.”
Kaito: “Isn’t it obvious? It’s because… she didn’t want Shuichi to know.”
Hee, of course this would be obvious to Kaito. Why would Kaede ever want to let Shuichi see that she’s not as much of a hero as she was trying to be?
Kaede: “I said I wanted to escape this place with everyone. But you guys wouldn’t want to be friends with a girl who killed someone, would you?”
Oh, Kaede, still just hoping to be friends with everyone. I really, really get the feeling she didn’t have many meaningful friends in her memories because she was too much of a “Piano Freak”. But even if she had successfully killed the mastermind without anyone realising, that guilt and the feeling that she’s an awful person who doesn’t deserve to be their friend would have eaten her up inside nonetheless.
Gonta: “Be… friends?”
Aww Gonta who also probably doesn’t have many friends and can absolutely understand that feeling!
Tenko: “Kaede… put a lot of thought into this.”
Kokichi: “She put so much thought into this, it drove her to commit murder like a lunatic…”
Yeah, since she committed murder she’s obviously a lunatic and a bad person and so clearly we should all completely ignore the part where she still genuinely cared about us and wanted to be our friend, right? Obviously everyone who talks about helping other people and being friends doesn’t ever truly mean it, because look at her.
Shuichi: “Kaede… I didn’t know how, but I wanted to get out of here with you. I wanted… to be friends.”
YOU ALREADY ARE FRIENDS. But yes, you could have been even more friends if you’d escaped together and gaaaah.
Kaede: “I’m so sorry…”
And of course, Kaede’s still just apologising for the fact that her actions have hurt him like this, rather than expressing her own feelings that she had that same desire to escape together and be friends.
Kaito: “So you’re saying… everything you did was because you were thinking of us? And you hid that you killed him just to stay and help us…? How did things—”
Of course she did! You should understand that better than anyone, Kaito! If you were on a time limit, and killing someone then lying about it was the only way you knew of that stood a chance of saving everyone else before time was up, you would do exactly the same.
Monokuma: “But we can’t let this boring display grind the action to a halt, so…”
I don’t know why you think this display of tragic friendship and selflessness is “boring”, Monokuma. This is the best story you’ve had for a Chapter 1 in… probably ever?
Aaaaa look at Kaito and Gonta and Tenko facing up to the Exisals to protect Kaede they’re so brave and selfless and determined. (It’s a little awkward in Tenko’s case knowing she wouldn’t do this if Kaede were a guy, but.) Kaito in particular, since he almost got killed by an Exisal a few days ago, so he knows better than anyone else there how completely fucking impossible it is to take one on unarmed. Note how while he’s the one at the front, his stance is the most defensive out of the three of them. He is definitely scared as hell (I mean, they all are), but that’s not going to stop him risking his life for Kaede, dammit!
(Also, Kaito again doing something that he’s going to be on the other side of the next time people pull a “we’ll fight the Exisals to stop you getting executed!”, hee.)
Shuichi: “Y-Yeah! I’ll help! I can—”
Shuichi you are a noodle how on earth do you think you can possibly help in a fight. This goes to show how desperate he is to protect Kaede against all logic, too.
Kaede: “Everyone, stop!!!”
But of course Kaede can’t just let them all get themselves killed on her behalf.
Kaede: “…I’m not giving up. Because I have you.”
Shuichi: “…What?”
Kaede: “Even after I’m gone… my wish will still be here. So I’m counting on you all! I’m entrusting my wish to every one of you!”
This is absolutely lovely – she’s not thinking of this as the end, or as her defeat, because she knows that everyone else here (well, most of them anyway) still wants the same thing she always did and they’re going to try their hardest to reach it. Even though Kaede’s not the true protagonist after all, her passing on her wish to everyone else and especially Shuichi does a great job to make her still feel involved and important to the story after she’s gone. She was the protagonist for this first chapter not just for the sake of a fake-out and a plot twist, but because she still is meaningfully a protagonist of this story, in a sense.
Kirumi: “I will do my utmost to fulfil your final request.”
Tenko: “I won’t give up! I’ll get out of here, no matter what!”
Gonta: “Gonta work hard and keep friends safe till very end!”
…These lines are just painful, knowing what happens to each of them.
Kokichi: “Well, Kaede, you definitely weren’t boring.”
And that, folks, is the highest praise Kokichi can give. Be proud, Kaede, I guess?
I really like this shot of Shuichi desperately reaching out to Kaede at the beginning of the execution.
So. I used to find Danganronpa executions so disturbing that I literally couldn’t watch them. But while me being not particularly disturbed by this one is partially just gradual desensitisation over a lot of time, I think it’s also partly in the way it’s presented. Some of the executions bother me because they kind of stop treating the victim of them like a character from the moment it begins. They just become like an object for this twisted, horrifying deathtrap, and something about that really wigs me out. But this scene isn’t like that as much because there’s a lot more focus put on Kaede’s expressions and what she’s going through and how desperately you can tell she’s still trying to survive for as long as possible. And I totally get how a lot of people might find that more disturbing, but I actually personally find it easier to deal with that way. She’s still a character, right up until her last moments.
Even so, yikes. On my first time through I was still teetering on whether I should skip the execution or not, but I told myself I should watch it because I needed to understand exactly what hell Shuichi went through. And, man. Fuck. Ouch.
Shuichi: (The moment it was over, I felt my legs give out under me.)
No wonder this is his reaction.
Shuichi: (What I just saw… didn’t feel real. As if all reality had vanished, and the only thing left was a fictional world.)
…Yup. That’s a thing the writers put in there.
Kokichi: “I… I can’t believe this happened to Kaede… I liked her… s-so… m-muuuuuuch…! WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! KAAAAEEEEEEDDDDEEEEEE!!!!!”
Again with the overacting to be able to tell himself it’s all a lie and he doesn’t really feel anything. Not that he actually did like Kaede all that much – he was never on board with all of her talk about co-operation and was quite happy to be a gigantic manipulative dick to her over the whole tunnel thing. She wasn’t boring, but that doesn’t mean he really cared about her as a person. But on a basic, fundamental level he’s just as horrified as any normal person would be at seeing someone get killed like that, and that’s what he’s trying to lie to himself about.
Monokuma: “Cuz if human life wasn’t precious, ending it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun!”
I don’t think any of the previous, Junko-driven incarnations of Monokuma ever expressed this sentiment. But this version understands that the whole reason a fictional death is heartbreaking and therefore worth having happen is because people cared about the character who died.
Monokuma: “There’s no greater joy than witnessing such a display of despair entertainment!”
Really laying the not-really-fourth-wall-breaking on thick here, huh. Is it any wonder Kokichi figures out that this whole thing is being watched?
Kiyo: “Kehehe… You’ve surpassed psychotic by a wide margin.”
And that’s saying a lot, coming from Kiyo.
Kaito: “I… I won’t ever forgive you for this! Got that!? I won’t ever forgive you!”
Monokuma: “Spoken like a marked man!”
Oh, really, Monokuma? Surely you’re aware that Kaito exists to make Shuichi his sidekick and he shouldn’t be getting himself killed until he’s at least started to do that. Although I guess he might also be referring to the fact that Kaito is marked to be killed off sooner or later no matter what happens regarding the murders. Plus, this is the out-universe writers trying to make Kaito look nice and expendable too.
(Also aaaa Kaito being so desperately furious and yet powerless to do anything about it.)
Maki: “…Do you hate us? If so, have we done something to make you hate us?”
I dunno, Maki, you should be used to the idea that people can do awful things to others without having any particular hatred for them. Although it does make sense that she’d assume someone might hate her specifically, but then that means she’s also assuming everyone else here has secretly done things they might be hated for.
Monokuma: “He died before his talent could be revealed. If he had lived long enough to reveal it, maybe he could have been more useful…”
You act like you wanted the story to get to the point where Rantaro discovered his talent, and yet the message on his Survivor’s Perk was clearly deliberately setting him up to be this first case’s victim or culprit.
Kokichi: “Dammit! You may have gotten us this time, but we’ll get you next time! You’ll see!”
This sounds like some kids’ cartoon cliché – which is to say, Kokichi is probably deliberately trying to come across this way to make everyone else realise how ridiculous and foolish their defiance sounds.
Monokuma: “I have a feeling you’re gonna live for a while.”
Unfortunately for the patience of everyone else who’s going to be stuck with him, but fortunately for the story taking some interesting turns, yes, he is.
Kaito: “Got it!? I’m gonna punch that grin right off your face. For sure!”
Monokuma: “Oh, really…? That seems unlikely. I’m pretty sure you won’t live long enough to do that.”
Are you sure, Monokuma? Because I think you’ll find that Kaito ends up living just exactly long enough to do that.
(Space.)
After Monokuma and the cubs leave, everyone is, quite understandably, very lost and downtrodden after what just happened to Kaede. But…
Kaito: “Aaargh! Shut up! SHUT! UP! You all just need to SHUT UP!!!”
(Kaito’s voice boomed in the air, and the room went silent.)
Kaito: “Every single one of you… and your meek little complaints… You’re pissing me the hell off!!!”
…of course Kaito can’t just let that be. At the best of times, Kaito will proclaim that it’s not good to spend time moping around and complaining and wallowing in your sadness when you could instead be thinking about what to do to make things better. But right now, Kaito’s just as upset as everyone else, probably second only to Shuichi in how much he’s hurting over this. He’s not thinking clearly enough to be able to turn his pain into something productive and is instead just desperately covering it up with unhealthy reactionary anger. So seeing everyone else still being upset reminds him of how he’s really feeling on the inside and he can’t stand it.
Kaito: “But the one who’s pissing me off the most… is you, Shuichi!
And of course Shuichi, who is both being the most upset and has the most reason to be trying to do something about this instead of just moping around, is the one who bothers him more than anyone else.
Can we take a nice long moment to appreciate that in this illustration after Kaito punches Shuichi, Kaito is crying. His anger is a desperate defence mechanism, all right.
Kaito: “Clench your teeth!”
Keebo: “Kaito! You are supposed to say that *before* you hit him!”
…Is saying that before punching your friend in the face a common trope in Japanese media, or has Keebo simply seen Gurren Lagann?
Kaito: “Didn’t you hear what Kaede said!? She said… she believed in you! That she passed her wish on to you! But what the hell’s wrong with you!? You didn’t say a damn thing to Monokuma! You call yourself a man!?!?”
This invocation of manliness is still about the idea of sticking to your convictions and taking responsibility. Kaede passed her wish onto Shuichi, so Shuichi should stand by that and stand up to Monokuma because that’s what Kaede would have wanted him to do.
Of course, it’s not fair of Kaito to be insisting this right now. Shuichi will start to do that, to hold on to Kaede’s wish and try as hard as he can to make a difference even though it’s still difficult for him. He just needs time. Kaito isn’t thinking clearly enough to realise that Shuichi is simply responding to this pain in a different way to him, by retreating into himself instead of lashing out, and that no-one should be expected to be able to stand up and fight back immediately after what they’ve just been through.
Shuichi: “…”
Kaito: “…What’s the matter? Say something already. I just hit you! Aren’t you pissed off!? What’s your problem!?”
Usually, Kaito’s powers of empathy are better than this, but right now it seems he’s too upset to comprehend the idea that someone else might react to things differently than how he would. Obviously if somebody punched him in the face he’d be pissed off and respond to it, so Shuichi should be doing that too!
Shuichi probably doesn’t respond not just because he’s in so much pain but also because a large part of him must be thinking that he really isn’t strong enough to carry on Kaede’s wish and that Kaito is right to be angry at him for this. It’s probably just as well he doesn’t say anything. I doubt he could have mustered up the courage to say something that would satisfy Kaito and not just make him angrier, and the less damage Kaito does when he’s not thinking straight like this, the better.
Maki: “Can we leave now? Staying here will only make us more depressed.”
Meanwhile Maki is resistant enough to horrifying situations full of death that she’s still thinking clearly and can suggest the most pragmatic response to this situation.
Tenko: “Shuichi… don’t beat yourself up, ‘kay?”
I appreciate these occasional moments of Tenko being kind to Shuichi, genuinely not even seeming to consider that he’s male and just seeing him as a person for once.
Kokichi: “Yep! Just hit the reset button on your feelings and you’ll feel happy and cheerful in no time!”
I’m sure you’ve had a lot of practice at doing that, Kokichi. Also, way to be a dick to someone who’s going through horrible trauma, good job.
Gonta: “Let Gonta know if you need his help, okay?”
Regular reminder that Gonta is Good.
Everyone leaves, except Kaito. Kaito seems to have calmed down already – probably having everyone else agree to get some rest and seeing (some of) them be kind to Shuichi made him realise on some level that getting angry and lashing out was not the right thing to do.
So instead he’s already trying to make up for it and help Shuichi by suggesting he go to Kaede’s lab.
Kaito: “Understand? There’s only one way to get through this awful feeling. No one’s gonna be able to console you if you’re just sitting here alone. If anyone’s gonna help you, it’ll be her… in your memories.”
This whole bit from Kaito really stood out to me on my first time through as being surprisingly sincere and heartfelt coming from him. This surprise was because it was the first time I’d properly seen Kaito being considerate and trying to help someone, not realising that actually this is what Kaito is like literally all of the time and he just hadn’t had much of a chance to show it until now due to Kaede overshadowing him. So I assumed that the only reason he was doing this was because he’d had some kind of personal experience with losing someone close to him, and maybe we’d go on to learn more about whatever he’d been through and have that be a whole big part of his character.
Now, knowing how Kaito is, it’s obvious that he’d say something like this to try and help Shuichi anyway whether he has any personal investment in these kinds of feelings or not. But it still kind of sounds like he might be speaking from experience here, just based on the way he talks about it. The fact that he never mentions what he might have gone through at any later point in the story doesn’t remotely rule out the possibility that such a thing happened, because, well, it’s Kaito. He doesn’t like to talk about his own problems, ever.
So, well, hold this thought. You might already be able to guess where I’m going with this, but I’ll get there in the next chapter.
The full moon outside the window of Kaede’s lab is very fitting, considering what Clair de Lune means.
Shuichi: “What a magnificent piano… I would have liked to hear her play it… if only just once.”
It’s still such a shame Kaede never got to do this! She totally could have invited people to her lab for a mini-concert! Admittedly, by the time her lab was open, everyone was scattered and divided because of the time limit, but she could still have invited Shuichi (and Kaito and Tenko and at least some others would probably have been happy to join too if they’d known).
Guhhh the image of Kaede playing the piano even though it’s just Shuichi’s imagination.
And just, man, this whole scene. By this point I’ve seen it so many times that it doesn’t make me cry any more, but for the longest time, and especially the first time, it absolutely did.
I also did not realise until I totally messed it up here by waiting too long between lines that, assuming you read the lines at a normal pace with natural pauses between them, this scene is really nicely timed with the music so that it ends just as the song reaches its climax and ending.

Note
Kaede, Junko, Tsumugi, Maki and Iruma with a s/o that already had a kid with another woman whom they had a bad breakup with, and the birth mother is a deadbeat that rarely spends any time with their kid, and one day the girls find the kid crying because they feel unwanted by their own mother, and after being comforted they timidly ask them if they can call them mommy? Phew, that's a mouthful.
okay let me start off by saying that I am super, duper sorry for being so absent lately. But on the bright side, I managed to get this done. I hope it serves well (I also made Junko non-despairy for this one if that was okay? Let me know if you’d want it redone though)- Mod Ouma
Kaede Akamatsu
Kaede has always acted like the mother figure to your beloved child. She knew she wasn’t the child’s birth mother, but she still wanted to try her best to treat your child like it was her own as well.
And when she saw your child crying alone in their room, she couldn’t help but come to their side, asking what was wrong.
Kaede knew of your deadbeat ex, but hearing your child in tears over the prospect that their biological mother didn’t love them just shattered her heart into a million pieces.
She’d wrap them in a comforting hug.
“I’m sure she loves you. There’s no doubt in my mind. She’s just.. Having a hard time, and she isn’t able to take care of you. But that’s why I’m here, and it may not be the same, but I love you.”
The two separated from the hug, sitting on the edge of the bed. Your child fiddled with the hem of their shirt, contemplating on if they should really voice their request.
“I-is it okay if I can call you mommy..?”
Kaede gave her loveable smile, bringing in the child for another hug, just happy that your kid thinks of her as a motherly figure. “Of course you can, dear!”
The rest of that say was just Kaede playing songs on her piano for your child. Songs such as Claire de Lune, and other songs that your kid adored.
Junko Enoshima
With your ex being a deadbeat and all, it was no surprise to see how little your child had.
And was Junko about to let a poor child live like this when she can help out? Of course not!
She was always sure to spend time with the child, taking them to various clothing outlets and buying them new, fashionable clothes that anyone would be jealous over.
Money she earned from fashion designing and all the like went into helping raise the child, to make up for what their birth mother couldn’t provide.
When she spotted your child crying, she couldn’t bear to see such a cute face suffering like that.
Upon learning that the root of your child’s issue was the birth mother, she could feel her heart break a tad bit.
A small voice pulled her out of her her thoughts, though.
“Junko can, can I call you mommy?”
Junko’s face adorned a bright smile at that question. “Of co~~oourse you can sweetie! Mommy will make things better!”
And from then on, she tried much harder to fill the void that your child’s birth mother left.
Tsumugi Shirogane
Tsumugi was as plain as could be, but she did know how to care for a child.
She tried her best to do what your child’s birth mother could not do, and she had to say, she thought she was doing a pretty good job at it.
Well, she thought that until she found the child broken down into tears in their bedroom.
Was she not doing enough? Had she failed already as a caretaker? Was her personality just too plain for your child’s taste?
When she had asked your child what had them so down, she wasn’t sure if she was surprised or not.
There was a small relief that it wasn’t her that was the problem, but it was soon overcome by guilt when the child inquired about their birth mother, about whether or not their mother still loved them or not.
“Oh, well I may just be a plain plain woman, but I know for a fact that your mother loved you, and still does!”
The kid smiled. “Do you think you can be my new mommy, miss Tsumugi?”
Tsumugi was shocked. She wasn’t sure what to say at first. But as the child’s expression started falling, she answered as quickly as possible. “Yes! I’ll plainly be your new mommy!”
Maki Harukawa
Maki wasn’t too fond of kids, but your child was an exception. Your kid meant a lot to you, so she decided she might as well love them like her own child as well.
Your ex-wife wasn’t Maki’s favorite person in the world. After time, she resented the woman for leaving your child like that.
Having grown up in an orphanage as the prime child caregiver of the younger kids, parenting wasn’t all too difficult for her.
But when it came to comforting, it definitely wasn’t her strong suit.
Whenever your child was crying or upset, she always relied on you to take care of it in the emotional aspect.
But this time, you weren’t there. You had gone grocery shopping just a while ago. She was left to try and console your kid with her own devices.
Awkwardly, Maki took a seat next to your child, a hand on there shoulder. “What’s the matter?” She said, trying her best not to use her typical blunt tone of voice.
After hearing that it was about their birth mother, Maki could feel something twitching on her face.
She hesitantly pulled your child into a hug, murmuring.
“I’m sure your mother still loves you. But sometimes, parents can’t take care of their children, but that doesn’t make you any less loved.” she whispered, hoping that it would help at all.
Pulling away, the child looked at her, she was beginning to think she might have said something wrong until she heard what the child had to say.
“I-is it okay if I call you mommy?”
Maki was always used to being called Big Sister, but never mommy. She was kind of surprised, to think that your child would ever consider someone like her a mother.
“I-uh, sure, I guess.”
Giggling, the child smiled and lept into her unsuspecting arms (thankfully she caught them though!)
Miu Iruma
You honest to god were not sure if you should keep your child around Iruma, given how so many inappropriate remarks slipped out of her big mouth.
But some way, somehow, she managed to prove herself family friendly enough to help care for your child.
She did a phenomenal job, though. Being the ultimate inventor and all, she always had toys and gadgets to keep your kid entertained, as well as inventions to aid in the child care process.
She never thought your kid would be sad with the glorious, genius inventor, Miu Iruma, around!
So the day she caught your kid in tears, she was utterly confused. Were they hurt? Was someone bullying them?
Miu had no problem coming to them and asking about it, but when it turned out to be the topic of your deadbeat ex, it clicked with her golden brain.
“Heey, there’s no need to cry about it, of course she still loves you! What stupid mother wouldn’t love their child?”
Typically words like that wouldn’t be the most comforting, but the child grew to appreciate Iruma’s vulgar humor.
But the next question caught her off guard: “Is it okay if I call you mommy?”
Miu knows she censored herself to the extreme if she thought of the word “mommy” in such an innocuous way now.
“Haha, of course! It’ll be great, having me as your glorious, genius mother! Say, do you wanna come help me make an ice cream machine?”

NDRV3 Girls’ reactions to their S/O getting drunk at a party
Anonymous asked: The girls reactions to their S/O getting drunk at a party
Welp, I need to post these since I was on holiday for a while so here they are!
~Mod Kiibo
Kaede Akamatsu
~ When you both decided to go to this party, she thought it was a great idea! Because parties with her S/O are always a great time
~ Fast forward to right at this moment where you are pretty much drunk and chaos has struck
~ At first she thought it was kinda funny that you was drunk because you kept saying weird things that caught her off guard sometimes
~ Then sometimes you'll do strange things like pretend you are different animals and singing on tables or even under them
~ Sooner or later after you run out of energy you'll just suddenly collapse on the ground
~ It's now her job to bring you home safely! Since your condition is not suitable to walk back
~ Kaede tried her best to carry you back home without dropping you and not getting lost even though it's both of your guys house but it's dark okay?
~ At last you two return back to your house! And still in one piece as well and none of you guys are missing too if that was able to happen…?
~ Now she has to bring you to bed which is the hardest part because of the old enemy
~ S t a i r s
~ Luckily she managed to get you to your own comfortable bed without any harm by stair related accidents
~ She decides to stay and snuggle next to you just because you looked so cute when you was asleep
~ She falls asleep after a while after a tiring night of trying to carry you home with many obstacles in the way and trying not to harm you as well
~ Yup it is a job well done, all for her drunk S/O
Miu Iruma
~ You two went to a party with absolute excitement, with you just wanting to enjoy yourself and Miu hoping that she will have a chance to see you drunk and just the crazy shenanigans that you both can get into
~ She always had that thought for a while to be honest because she loves to have fun with her S/O
~ Surprise surprise you got drunk with her help and some of your friends as well and you were an absolute mess
~ Just rethinking life and just wobbling everywhere as you talk to random strangers about weird topics and then making it depressing in the matter of seconds
~ At one point of the party she lost you in the crowd and queue the overwhelming panic!
~ She looks all around for you saying that if you come to her she'll let you do whatever you want just pLeASE SHOW uP
~ She found you in the bathroom right next to the corner talking to a soap dispenser
~ OKAY THATS ENOUGH FOR ONE NIGHT S/O
~ After many attempts of trying to drag you away from the bathroom with your pleads since you didn't want to leave your new friend she managed to get you out of there without too much tears on her clothes
~ Welp time to go home before you make friends with another household appliance and get emotionally attached to them in seconds
~ She keeps close to you while you both are walking home so you don't just randomly wander off and also to help you stop crying oVer A GodDAMN SOaP dispENseR
~ You stay quiet mostly from the walk back home so that makes her feel like you are starting to calm down a bit
~ Once you two get inside it is straight to bed no buts, we are going straight to bed because you need rest before you cry again and end up staying awake all night
~ Luckily all the crying you've been doing tired you out so Iruma didn't have to do much since when she came in to your room you was already asleep
~ Note to self when S/O gets drunk, keep them away from soap dispensers
Tsumugi Shirogane
~ She agrees to go with you to this party even though she was a little hesitant first, she comes along for the ride
~ Everything was fine at first, yes there were some people who were pretty out there and all and some creating scenes but overall it was fun
~ That is until Tsumugi tried to see where you were but when she did find you, you were drunk
~ You were quite tired honestly and kept on dozing off as well but then shooting back up in seconds, this pattern kept on going throughout the night
~ She follows you everywhere you went too which was kind of hard with a heck of a lot of people in the way but she kept on finding you which is good and you weren't collapsed on the floor as well so that's a bonus
~ When she did lose you, she would always find you in weird places asleep: first she found you in one of the rooms shower, next she found you in a wardrobe and then she found you was underneath a mattress
~ Honestly she was so confused about some of the places you slept in but you was okay so all she had to do was wake you up
~ Once she decided it was late enough to go back home, she carried you bridal style home without much effort
~ When she arrived home, you woke up at that moment so you both decided to watch some anime while you were both awake
~ Well you was struggling to keep your eyes open so you kinda just rested your head on Tsumugi’s shoulder and nodded off
~ She didn't mind of course but you had some trouble when you woke up the next morning as you ached from the weird positions you slept in the random places at the party
Tenko Chabashira
~ When she heard that you was going to a party she asked that if she could come, just to make sure you was safe of course
~ You agreed that she could come since you thought it would be nice for the both of you
~ She was so excited that she was going to spend some time with her S/O!
~ After a hour in she realised that you wasn't around her anymore so hence her little search party for her S/O has begun!
~ It didn't take long because of your loud shouts stood out more than the more casual chats going on around her
~ Turns out you were drunk and you get more cranky while you are drunk as well, she found it quite concerning that you was drunk but she was keeping her eye on you now or you'll just spar with someone because of your crankiness
~ She will pull you away if you started to have a fight with someone or she would try to keep you in a corner so you can cross your arms and rant about everything as she listens
~ After a couple of hours you start to tire yourself out by shouting a lot and also that your voice has worn out as well
~ That is enough alcohol for one night S/O
~ Tenko carried you home after you start to feel awkward about the mess you made but you still grumble all the way home
~ She finds your grumbles about random stuff cute though and keeps it in mind that not to let you near alcohol without especially when she's not around
~ Who knows what might happen
Kirumi Tojo
~ When you ask if both of you can go to this party she hesitates for a bit since she doesn't really go to parties and she doesn't know what might happen
~ But alas she agrees finally and both of you are surrounded by different types of people
~ She just sits quietly to herself for a while on the other hand you do other things which is out of hear sight
~ After a while she comes to find you and without it's no surprise you're drunk since she knows it's bound to happen nonetheless
~ She finds you crying your eyes out and saying random stuff which she thinks is upsetting you
~ Like some memories of apparently tragic stuff and such which Kirumi had no clue what it was about
~ She comforted you in hopes that it would help you stop crying but that didn't work so she tried giving you some tissues and saying things that would make you happy but yet nothing
~ She decides to bring you home early since that you be a huge help for the both of you
~ Once she gets in, you are immediately in your bedroom under the covers and she is doing everything she can
~ After you finally fall asleep she is getting anything she needs if you actually do get a hangover in the morning
~ She's always there for you whenever you get drunk no matter the situation
Maki Harukawa
~ Yeah parties aren't really her thing really well at all but you get the point
~ But if her S/O insists that they want her to go then fine, she'll go for their sake
~ When you two arrive it's just havoc there, she tries to stay with you but the huge amount of people split you up somehow and that's a big problem
~ It takes her a while to find you and after asking people where you was in kind of a blunt way, she has no clue where you were
~ So yeah this party was a horrible idea
~ She finally hears a familiar voice in the crowd of people and heads straight towards it
~ Turns out you were quite flirtatious while drunk so
~ ohh god
~ Her S/O while drunk is quite a handful to be honest with you, she tries giving her S/O a glass of water to help but they just went off and started to freaking talk to a stranger
~ Yeah, Maki is taking them home right now thank you very much
~ She listens to them babble while walking home and at home because they refused to sleep when she asked them to
~ She acts annoyed with them but then again she can't leave them alone like they could get up to whatever stuff like this which is concerning
~ After trying to soothe them down, it actually works for a change and they start to fall asleep
~ Maki is relieved that her S/O is finally asleep and prepares some things for their hangover in the morning
~ Next time she won't let S/O next to any alcohol again
Himiko Yumeno
~ Oh a party? Sure let's go…
~ She’ll doze off at the start of it to be honest since you wanted to spend some time together and all
~ She was dozing in the corner of one of the rooms and then she suddenly woke up and started to slowly realise what was going on around her
~ Huh…? Where's S/O?
~ She steadies her way up and tries to find them with the problem of a huge wave of people towering her
~ When she finds you, you are clinging right onto her for some odd reason
~ She doesn't understand why you aren't this clingy and you don't say random silly things like that at all, what could this mean?-
~ Ohhhhh, now she gets it
~ You're drunk in fact scratch that you're very drunk, seems like she has been asleep for too long to notice that you was going to drink a lot at this party
~ She didn't know that you was the person to drink so she was a little surprised but nonetheless calm about it because it wasn't anything urgent
~ She tries getting you out of the party which was much easier than she thought it would be since you was so close to her in the first place
~ Had a hard time getting you back home though since you kept swaying around while in close contact with her making you two walk all around the place
~ Finally we have arrived home!
~ And Himiko instantly goes to the couch to nap again with you along side her due to you still being clingy as hell
~ When you do wake up, you have a huge hangover and Himiko tries her best to help by using her magic to make the pain go away
~ You insist that you just need some painkillers and water rather than magic in this situation
Angie Yonaga
~ You two are immediately heading towards this party you've been invited too and you brought along Angie as well
~ You two split your ways after being torn apart by the crowd of random strangers and some familiar faces
~ At first Angie didn't notice that you wasn't by her side then it dawned on her that you wasn't beside her like usual so she was on a search for you
~ She finally sees you in the crowd and goes in running to you
~ When she reaches you she realises one thing, that S/O was drunk as heck
~ It kinda concerns her that you are drunk and you are falling all over the place because it seems like you are very tired
~ She doesn't really know what to do in this situation so she tries to pull you out of the party without you fainting on top of her
~ You do wobble a bit but she manages to at least make it to the entrance which is good
~ Now then to make it all the way back home, this is going to be challenging
~ But she does it! And when she gets home she brings you to bed so you can finally drift off without hurting yourself by falling onto the floor
~ She asks God for advice on what to do and to make sure the pain wouldn't be as strong when her S/O wakes up
~ After she receives an answer on what to do next, she is off preparing things for the hangover
~ When you do wake up surprisingly there wasn't much pain as you thought it would be and Angie is there to give you what you need to help it completely

Oumas Mental breakdown (eng subs)
Jes, i used the voice translator for this. Just ignore my random comments xD
Ouma: "I-i won't..." Shuuichi: "O-ouma-kun?!" Ouma: "HAHAHAHA! YOU REALLY BELIEVED ALL THIS FAKE-CRYING I JUST DID?!" "YOU IDIOTS! I DIDN'T CARE THAT MUCH ABOUT GONTA! WHY WOULD I THO?!" Tsumugi: "Y-you were fake-crying..?" Ouma: "If i would be... how do you say it... honest, Gonta didn't matter to me." (he actually said something about a true thing inside of him, but this makes more sense to me) "He was just a waste of space in this whole game and.. Of course that(the fake-crying) was just a lie to convince you to believe in me!" "You see? Lies are useful!" Kaito: "What are you saying...?" Shuuichi: "So... All that crying he did before Gonta died... Wait Ouma, what is this 'true thing' you're talking about?!" (i guess ouma is talking about the monster inside of him...) "Why did you make Gonta do that?" Ouma: "Of course to make this more interesting." (Ouma you sociopath) Shuuichi: "Huh--!" Ouma: "I used Gonta like a little kid playing with their doll. He was just a tool in this game. I thought i could end it with this, since you wouldn't be able to find the true culprit. Me, the puppeteer, or him, the puppet." (damn ouma) "But well, think about it." "The fact that we worked together to save everyone" "I never betrayed that." Shuuichi: "B-but why did you use Gonta for-" Ouma: "Nishishi~" (Ouma goes insane again wtf) "WHO CARES ABOUT THAT IDIOT?!" (gonta probably lmao) "I SIMPLY WANT TO HAVE FUN PLAYING THIS GAME OF DOUBT, PARANOIA AND SUSPICION!" (he is still taking this as a game... and i think he really has to fight that monster inside of him, he switches so often right now i can't-) Shuuichi(thinking): "While saying that, Ouma laughed with a psychotic smile." "As soon as i saw that smile, one word in the back of my head popped up." "Evil intent." (Ouma never wanted to do anything bad, it's the monster, get your facts straight Shuuichi-) "So he used his innocent body to hide his evil intentions." (GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT SHUUICHI THERE'S A GODDAMN MONSTER INSIDE OF OUMA!) (Lmao, Ouma just read shuuichis thoughts) (Ah, Ouma is going crazy because his plan to save everyone failed and now everyone is putting so much pressure on him, it's hard for him to keep the monster inside... And Ouma saw a video that drove him even more insane... OUMAS SANITY GETS SO DAMAGED IN THIS KILLING GAME I CAN'T-) Ouma: "Hey, i *am* an evil leader, right?" "And since i'm an evil leader, i have to be like that, don't i?" (Omg ouma... der hört sich total an als würde der gerade immens zittern...) "Seeing you all suffer like this, me being an evil leader, my body must be shaking from excitement... But why do i feel none of that?" (I guess he really is shaking as shit...) (and he starts shouting again, monster up) "I JUST LOVE TO SEE PEOPLE SUFFER! DON'T YOU KNOW THERE ARE THIS KINDS OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD!?" "Without a big reason, this people, people like me enjoy to see others suffer. AND I JUST WANT TO SEE THIS CRUEL WORLD BURN!" (i'm literally shaking from this translation, i feel so bad for ouma..) Kaito: "Are you serious right now..?" Maki: "So you did this just for your own entertainment? To have your fun?" Ouma: "What's so wrong about that? You kill for money, don't you? I'm not that mean like you, Harumaki-cha-" (rip maki xD) Maki: "I do it for my orphanage, but of course a stupid bastard like you wouldn't understand that. And stop calling me 'Harumaki', that's disgusting coming from you." (AND NOW YOU'RE DEAD MAKI) "Do you wanna get killed?" (LAY ONE HAND ON OUMA AND YOU'RE DEAD!) Ouma: "Nishishi~ Harumaki-chan really does have an angered face~" "But you all believe people way too easily." (i think ouma has trouble trusting people, this just makes me wonder more about his backstory...) "If you look at it from a paranoia standpoint, like me-" (monster takes over) "HAHAHAHHA! THAT MEANS GONTA AND IRUMA DID DIE FOR SOMETHING MEANINGLESS LIKE ME!" (aaaah... Ouma made gonta kill iruma, because he is really scared of dying, so he *had* to make him do it, or the monster inside of him would've done it...) (and dont call yourself meaningless ouma...) Kaito: "What are you saying?!" Shuuichi(thinking): "As Momota said that, he sprinted all the way to Ouma like a bullet." Narrator: *punch sound* Shuuichi(thinking): "A blunt noise echoed through the room." (ah, kaito *wanted* to punch him, but Ouma was faster than him lmao) Ouma: "Oh sorry, i actually wanted to dodge. (ouma wanted to dodge, the monster wanted to hit kaito. Monster won...) But, see what i did instead~" Shuuichi: "Momota-kun!" Kaito: "You bastard..!" Ouma: "And well, just by the way, even though it might just be my imagination, But why did that punch come so slow? You could've easily be faster than me..." Kaito: "Ngh-!" Ouma: "Could it be that Momota-chan is hiding something from me..?" Maki: "MOMOTA! Are you okay?!" Shuuichi(thinking): "Maki stared at Ouma with a sharp glare." Maki: "Didn't you say you're not good at physical activities?.." Ouma: "Haha, you believed that lie~!?" (ouma, stop making fun of Maki, you're getting in danger. Maki deserves it, but she definetly wants to kill you right now) Maki: "Do you want to get killed?!" Ouma: "Aw, did i make you angry? Now you're going to say 'this is for Momota' and finally kill me, right?" Shuuichi: "C-calm down Harukawa-san!" Ouma: "Nah, let it go Saihara-chan. Harumaki-chan isn't someone who would quit if it's for Momota-chan." "And Momota-chan is just an uncool guy who can't do anything." (HAHA RIP KAITO XD) "He says he is an ultimate astronaut, but he's barely even at training level-" Shuuichi(thinking): "Even after all that, Ouma didn't stop there. But everyone started ignoring him, just rushing to Momota." Tsumugi: "Momota-kun! Are you okay?" (MOMOTA WANTED TO HIT OUMA, WHY ARE YOU ALL ONLY CARING ABOUT KAITO!? GODDAMNIT!) Kiibo: "Can you stand? Here, you can lean on me." Yumeno: "I'm sorry, my MP is at zero, i can't heal you..." Ouma: "Wait... Everyone? Why is everyone so worried about that dork who tried to hit me?" Shuuichi: "You're the dork here, Ouma-kun." Ouma: "H-huh..?" (HE LOOKS SO HURT BEING CALLED THAT BY SHUUICHI ;Q;) Shuuichi: "Momota-kun has everyone at his side, you have nobody at your side." "And not everyone is like you." (Shuuichi, you misunderstood him...) Ouma: "Haha! Are you all being friends? Even in a game like this, you still make friends? Then why am i getting left out?" "....." "Huh, how boring you all are. Ne, Saihara-chan, you just destroyed the exciting mood, congratulations." (he looks bored, he talks bored. Jep, all in all, he is bored xD) "Whatever. I'll just tell you all now." (monster takes over) "I'LL BE THE ONE TO WIN THIS GAME!" Shuuichi(thinking): "After that, Ouma-kun started walking and went away." (fiiiinallly goddamnit)
