Japanese Fans Pick Their Favorite Fall 2020 TV Anime by Online Voting

    One month after the "anticipation ranking" in early October, Japan's largest mobile phone operator NTT Docomo reported the result of its regular online research survey to ask the users of its streaming service dAnime Store which fall 2020 TV anime they were still watching as their favorites.

  The survey was conducted for one week between October 23 and 30, and a total of 151,791 votes were cast for the 46 titles that were available via the service. How have the Japanese viewers' opinions changed or not after they actually started watching the fall 2020 series? With the results of the survey earlier this month, we had gotten the date and time for the event.

The event will be in happen in these following dates:

Both will happen at 10:30PM (GMT+8:00).

Like we have said before, this will be a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE reservation basis, and we will only get the first 8 participants for both days (8 participants per day/16 participants in total). (This was actually quite hard for me to do but I think it can help in expressing myself so thanks for sending it in)

1. I haven’t slept properly for like two weeks or more. For some reason I keep on falling asleep with the lights on…yesterday was the first time in a while I fell asleep with the lights off. My sleep schedule is messed up and that may be why my mind is messy now.

2. I feel like I’ve lost the ability to connect. The online world used to be my escape but now it’s so hard to talk to someone online. I can’t trust people like I used to though I am more open than I expected to be which is a bit of a mini miracle. All I can do is keep my conflicting emotions in check and make sure I don’t hurt anyone.

3. I can’t have fun like I used to. Sometimes I get immersed because it’s just part of my personality but a part of me will feel do I really deserve to have fun like this? And if I’m with people, what if I hurt people accidentally again? So I’m fluctuating like that. And I keep a proper polite speaking style to be safe.

4. There are times in my life I’ve felt like I wanted to leave this world. Just a sense of detachedness from reality and everything. Now is one of those times.

5. Despite that I’m grateful for the people who listened to me without judgment. Thank you.

6. I don’t know what friendship is? I thought I finally got to learn the meaning of friendship but my trust was shattered and I felt off. Like I wasn’t getting through. Someone said friends will make you feel accepted like a feeling of…uh….warmth? So if I no longer feel that way with my friends does it mean we are not friends anymore? I’m confused. I hope not I still love them and care for them. But I feel like I’ve lost my friends (not sure whether it’s true). I can’t even talk to my first two friends from the Tsukiuta fandom on tumblr. I tried talking to one but I didn’t get a reply and it feels like I’m bothering them. They’ve been talking to someone else too while not replying me so it feels like they don’t want to talk to me because I’ve been away too long. Despite everything I want that someone else to be happy so I’m just leaving them be for now.

7. As with my post when I returned I’m still not sure what to do on tumblr haha. Months away from this blog giving my everything to something that failed like everything in the past so I’m lost. And writing relaxes me but it will take me a while to get back to writing. Ah but I guess answering asks like this gives me something to do? Ahahaha

8. I still want to be free, and I’ll let that feeling guide me.

My IDOLISH7 Story

Hello. This is a little embrassing to reveal myself. It might be boring for you to read it. But can't help it. I wanna share my story. And also I would like to have a friend whom I can ask all about Idolish7 game and tell freely all about Idolish7.

Actually I don't like Idol series.Still don't like them now except Idolish7. Cuz they are always singing in one minute per one episode and have always simple background. They way they treat their partners in group are way too casual. I watched my first idol anime, Love Live School Idol project. They aren't bad. I like their songs cuz I'm playing their game about 8 months ago. I don't like Muse's anime cuz like I said, they're way too friendly each other. In reality, every Idol person can't be friendly each other like them. They might have their own story, own personalities etc. Maybe the big fact I can't watch them is cuz I'm a girl. Lol😂😂😂Since I don't ship Yuri, that maybe the case.

I fell in love with all Idolish7 characters from fanart in pixiv. At first glance, I'm like ''Whoa! they are so cute. I wonder who they are'' And then, Tsumugi is surrounded by Ainana, Trigger and Re:vale. So, I thought that might be Reverse Harem series. So I give up to find their names but I saved one of those fanart and showed it to my friend. She got wrong Riku with the boy from Dream festival and said they were from Dream festival. So I watched Dream festival anime Ep 1 and know that they aren't from DF. So I give up again and play Love Live. Several days later, before I knew it, my mind and soul are interested in them and so, I started searching their names again. And then I found Anidol and Idolish7 games. I though Anidol might be tye one I'm looking for. So I downloaded the game and start playing for half an hour. I was wrong again. So I uninstall that and downloaded I7, the real one. (Glad I got the real one. Lol😂😂) I started playing Idolish7 mobile Rhythm game in October, 2017. When I started playing, I uninstalled three times. Like iit's always downloading, the stories need to download again and again to read it, can't touch any Rhytm icon cuz they're falling too fast, blah blah. But I'm bored with Love Live game. So, I thought I will try I7 seriously this time. Then, I downloaded all data they need and started playing MonGen,reading I7 story Part 1. At first, I feel bored reading them. When Triigger appeared on Screen and Secret Night songs can be played. I fell in love with Trigger. To get new songs, I have to read all stories and clear all challenges. It's become more interesting. Nor because of all the songs are amazing but because the stories are interesting too. I deeply touched and fell in love with them. Especially the stories, I have never seen that dramatic Idol series. I watched the other Idol series like High School Star musical, TsukiUta, B-project and any other things. They never made me feel excited and want to know more. But I7 is different. They can make the one who is really fussy about all idol genre be their passionate fan, me. I do love them now.Really. 😍😍😍 Scouting them to be idol is a little sudden though ( I mean in my home country, all debuted idol come from singing contests) but they are fine just the way they're now. To become debuted as 7 men together, yhey worked hard steps by steps. It's really want to support them more and more. I feel like I wanna explode when I've read about So-chan going back to home and Tamaki is framed. Momo got arrested by Ryo and Yuki's on fire to look for him. I feel really anxious. I really can't get what will happen next. But that makes I7 more interesting and I love it. I'm still exciting abiut what comes next in Part 4 and all new songs. I'm lookumg forward to their firsr live too. Hope my story isn't too complicated to understand. Since english is my second language, I'm not confident about spelling and grammar.

I want to have a friend who loves Idolish7 more than me and want to have a fun time by tellimg each other our stories. If you haven't watched Idolish7 Anime, I suggest you to watch it. It will never get you bored and want to know more. After you become more passionate, you can play Rhythm game too. It won't make your day so boring.

Starmyu review (s1 and s2). I’m very careful not to write major spoilers!

I have to say, last year I came across this anime called "High School Star Musical" or starmyu on wikipedia, while tending a page of seiyuus. I never watch an anime unless it was recommended by my friends. So when I saw they have all great voice actors, I thought "Oh, this will be worth it." The only idol animes I watched prior Starmyu were Utapri and Shohari via recommendation. (Now I've watched most of them including B-pro, tsukiuta, , and tsukipro)

Yes, I find the abrupt burst to song hilarious! (Sorry) also the bg concept in their singles were... magically amazing. The soundtracks were godsent.

The main story is about the MC, Hoshitani, who enrolled to a music-focused academy (hs?) with the dream to perform with a student of the high school he briefly saw years ago while passing the school building. Never he ever thought that his future-coach was the high schooler, who is also a council member, which makes his team a Star team. MC's team consisted of 5 members plus 1 coach, and they have their own (rather serious) backgrounds and concerns, which were screened per episodes. We can see how their lives were heavily influenced with musicals. They did not start off well..

I skipped several episodes of season 1 until episode 9, I completely stopped. It was during the time I shifted all my attention to the worldwide recommended anime, Yuri on Ice.

After my breakdown 6 months ago, because of a college admission test, I detached myself from anime for many months. The very first anime I started to watch again was starmyu, and I was very surprised to know that SEASON 2 AIRED DURING THE BIG TEST. I am 7 months late to welcome the series. Talk about bad luck.

So I started from season 1, from where I left off, episode 9 and the previous episodes I had skipped. Starting episode 10, I realized that this anime was far more intense than I had previously thought. Selfishness was the cause of conflict.

Even worse, not only the pressure from the "bad guys", their luck wasn't any better. I absolutely love the resolution, I never thought the way they fix everything bad thrown to the boys. That's where I got invested to the series.

The OVA of season 1 was not to be skipped. The animation is very eye candy and not 3d generated smooth like in most idol shows (then again, they are not idols haha). There are character developments too.

I was excited to start watching season 2, especially after knowing the super hot alumni of the academy, the "Ancients". The season started off okay, and the mysterious new character (Ageha) is very cute too, despite his Haruto-obsession. Nanjo and Kitahara Ren gave me the impression of antagonist lol

This season, focused on musical drama performance.

Season 2 was quicker to intervene the smooth pace. I kind of expected some plot twist from the start, though. The gags were funnier. And although we get like 10 new characters, they all have unique personalities that we can easily differ all of them. Also I like how Ren obviously has a crush on one of the main boy Kuga, haha.

And after more episodes, we got more and more twists. It's a good twist though, with several miracles to fix it included. It's no wonder why the MC was so distressed that everyone thought he might kill himself. Ouch. Not really though, one of the boy was surprisingly imaginative.

Each character's interaction were interesting, which develop their characters too. Unlike season 1, we can see the star teams unite and chill together.

In season 2 two, we only get 2 singles. The rest of transition songs were collabs or duet, and the songs were a lot lot better than the previous season. (((( Someone give medals to the bgm team please. ))))

And oh my god, the problems were never ending. You wouldn't have guessed anything wrong until it happened, What I also like from this season is, though there are obviously stereotyped characterization, they actually put their "bad deeds" into good use we never thought were effective. For example, one of the character was marked a copycat, but later he was useful as a replacement with his mimic ability.

The intensity of the rivalry for the roles were told from the start. Don't be shocked to know of all many many 30 boys you would see, only 11 performed on stage and only 8 actually got on screen time. The rest were behind the scene staffs, which makes the point of the show that "no matter where we are, what position we are in, our hearts are one." I assure you, you will see that the bg team also shine the same with the ones on stage. If I hadn’t spoilered anything, even the first part the performance was magnificent.

OVERALL, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW THE SEASON TURNED OUT. I ACTUALLY CRIED @GOD WHY HADN'T I KNOWN THAT 2ND SEASON HAS AIRED SOONER.

I will end this speech. I still can't get over last episode. This anime man, was on par with yuri on ice to me on how unforgettable it is. I will continue to support this anime, since the fandom seems to be quiet. But that doesn't matter, I do my best even if I ended up alone.

08.What drew you to Tsukiuta?–> It started with me searching for new songs to listen to, and as I was browsing through KENN’s tags in CDJapan I saw the CD for “Rainy Day”. I bought it because I was a really huge KENN fangirl back then lol. I used to buy anything with him in it.Afterwards, I started reading up on Tsukiuta and I was drawn in by their concept. It’s cute that they personified each month and it was interesting to see how their characters were developed using only each month as a guide.

Tsukiuta TV Anime 2nd Season Finally Gets New Premiere Date of October 7

    The official website for the Tsukiuta. project announced today that the much-awaited second season of the TV anime Tsukiuta. The Animation is finally set to premiere on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and Nagoya TV on October 7, 2020, then on BS11 one day later.

  As the anime merchandise store chain Animate's 30th anniversary project, the Studio Pierrot-produced first season of the TV anime featuring original characters on the theme of 12 months was aired for 13 episodes from July to September 2016.

  The production of the new season got the green light back in November 2018, and it was originally planned to be aired during 2019. But its premiere date has been postponed three times, first to April 2020, second to July 2020, and third to October 2020. The second season's two OP theme songs - "Paint It Black" by Six Gravity and "White Sparks" by Procellarum were already released simultaneously on June 26.
