Men who are so emotionally constipated, or have been through enough trauma that they don't... exactly... do well with touch, but are extremely touch starved and crave love beyond anything else physical.
Men who suddenly gain an adorable S/O who is willing to do all that and more.
Men, who suddenly find themselves having someone to come home to every night; who find themselves lying beside said person every night; who's willing to hold them for as long as necessary when it gets difficult; who refuses to abandon them no matter the circumstance.
Boyfriends, who find it difficult to truly express themselves when they want to, and get frustrated whenever they have that difficulty.
Boyfriends who find their S/O so attractive that they can't help themselves, so they end up blurting out the thoughts that come to mind.
.
Boyfriends who become your husband because he made that same mistake one day, and scrambled to grab the ring.
(The same ring that had been sitting in his pocket for the last three months.)

Tofu!
[ao3]
Byakuya glares at his all-electric Toyota that should be fully charged and ready to go. Instead it sits in his driveway, refusing to switch on despite working perfectly well the night before. Fixing it shouldn’t be an issue. Though he isn’t a former Super High School Level Mechanic with pointed teeth and cheap hair dye, he knows a fair bit about the inner workings of vehicles. He ran a secondhand automobile business as a preteen, where not only did he sell used cars but fixed them too. In fact, he even taught employees and customers how to repair them. This had been for one of the conglomerate's challenges for choosing an heir, then once he had completed the task, he sold the business to some locals who continued to run it for quite some time afterwards.
The business only became defunct when the world almost ended.
However, while Byakuya could try to repair his car and probably would succeed, he is donning a clean work suit and is due at his job in twenty minutes.
“Togami-chi!” lilts a familiar voice.
A car trundles to a stop on the road perpendicular to Byakuya's driveway. From the driver’s seat, Yasuhiro beams at him, eyes twinkling behind his spectacles.
“What are you standing around for? Let me guess. Enjoying the morning dew?”
“Do I look like I’m enjoying myself?” says Byakuya, scowling.
Yasuhiro squints. Adjusts his spectacles. “Uh...”
“My car isn’t starting,” says Byakuya bluntly.
“Did you charge it?”
“Of course I did,” snaps Byakuya. “There shouldn’t be anything wrong with it.”
Yet it won't start up at all. He shoots it a frosty look.
“Cars break down for all sorts of reasons. Electronics failure, motor corrosion...” Yasuhiro counts off his fingers. “The all-mighty Indra has the flu...”
Byakuya’s lips almost disappear into his mouth as he purses them.
“No matter. I can work from home,” says Byakuya, even if he prefers to teach his students in person. Less distractions. Better internet connection. Decent coffee.
Yasuhiro waves a hand. “No need for that. I'll give you a lift, ‘right?”
A single furrow dents Byakuya’s brow while Yasuhiro's car is dented in several places. Not including its owner, it’s a car only Columbo could love. Whatever’s wrong with the suspension means the car seems to lurch every time it goes over a pebble. As he stares at it, Byakuya half-expects the tires to roll off in different directions and the vehicle to suddenly be enveloped in a ball of flames.
It’s in Byakuya’s best interest to refuse. He cups his chin. Then again, not only would he rather be physically at the school than teaching his students from home, he has also been looking forward to lunch today.
“... Fine,” says Byakuya. “I accept.”
A wide grin spreads across Yasuhiro’s face. “I knew you’d come around. Hop on in!”
But when Byakuya heads toward the front passenger seat, Yasuhiro waves his hands frantically.
“Sorry, dude! That door won’t open. And I, uh, need to clean that seat anyway. I got some ketchup stains on it... You know what burgers are like.”
Byakuya had thought he knew what burgers were like, having even eaten his first one two years ago. Since meeting Yasuhiro, however, he isn’t so sure about them. Like how he isn’t so sure he should get into Yasuhiro’s car. His fists clench at his sides as he reminds himself that he would prefer to be physically present at the school, that he has survived much more hazardous situations than this, and he has really been looking forward to today’s lunch.
So long as he makes it there alive, anyway.
Squaring his shoulders, Byakuya forces himself into the back of the car. The stitching on the seats frays in some places, puckers in others, but is surprisingly clean. Like it has recently been washed. He can see moisture on the windows and a few crumbs on the floor, but overall, the interior isn't too horrific. Somewhat cramped, but dare he say tolerable.
And it’s just a ten minute journey. Yasuhiro glows.
“All righty.” The car rattles as Yasuhiro puts it into gear. “We’ll be on our way to Hope’s Peak in no time... just as soon as we collect Fukawa-chi.”
Byakuya's brow crinkles. “What?”
The car jerks forward, jolting Byakuya. With a grimace, he settles into his seat as best he can and looks out of the window. Touko only lives down the road, so it won't eat up too much of his time. He is slightly surprised that Yasuhiro is giving her a lift to work, though. Other than Makoto and Byakuya, Touko doesn't usually feel comfortable enough to accept rides alone with men.
The car soon stops, spluttering as it does so. Byakuya and his fellow killing game survivors used to live on Hope's Peak’s campus, but after it was sufficiently rebuilt, they moved into some modest housing in a street across the city. Even if the school is quite different now, none of them can stomach living there full-time, permanently.
He folds his arms over his chest. Drums his fingers.
“We'll pop Fukawa-chi in the back next to you,” says Yasuhiro. “Won't it be nice to see her again?”
“I saw her yesterday.” Byakuya glowers. “You know I don't like being late.”
Yasuhiro laughs. “You won't be late. She'll be out any minute now, ‘right?”
Touko’s house resembles the others on the street for the most part, two stories with a window embedded in its slanted roof. The garden is what makes her home recognisable, with long grass, wildflowers throughout and log piles. When the front door opens, Byakuya’s eyes draw toward the movement, and out comes Touko. Her single braid bounces as she hurries down the path.
His eyebrows raise a tad. She seems oddly eager to get into Yasuhiro’s car.
“Good morning, Fukawa-chi!” Yasuhiro says as she slips into the back of the car.
Touko doesn't spare Yasuhiro a glance. “Good morning, Byakuya-sama!”
She must have spotted Byakuya from her window. That explained why she came over to Yasuhiro’s car so enthusiastically. Though, he wouldn’t have been surprised if she had known of Byakuya’s arrival without having to look outside. There must be some logical explanation, but she has an almost uncanny ability to know when he’s nearby... something he has somehow gained over the years.
Probably just intuition. Yes.
“Good morning,” says Byakuya before curling his lip in disdain. “Is that everyone, Hagakure? Or are you carpooling the whole street today?”
“Just you two,” Yasuhiro replies. “Next stop, work!”
The car emits a grinding noise that Byakuya doesn’t think cars should make, then they’re on the move. Byakuya stares out of the window again and tightens his lips. Without needing to look at Touko, he knows she’s staring at him. He can imagine her unblinking grey eyes, her chapped lips smile. The mole by her mouth. By now, he's very familiar with the sight of her. Understandable. They see each other inside and outside of work.
“Anyone want music?” asks Yasuhiro.
“No,” Byakuya and Touko say in unison.
Yasuhiro flicks the car radio on. The song begins with almost-immediate dialogue, a woman speaking in English about having rotten judgement. Within a few lines, the tempo picks up and a backing choir joins in. Byakuya still doesn’t recognise the song, but he doesn’t care to know either. He checks his wristwatch. Despite the minor detour, they should still arrive on time.
“Have you ever seen Hercules, Togami-chi?” asks Yasuhiro.
“No, I haven’t seen the fictional son of the fictional god of sky and thunder,” says Byakuya.
“I mean the Disney movie! This song is in it. It’s when this chick called Meg doesn’t want to admit she’s fallen in love with Hercules, so these pretty goddess ladies try to coax her into embracing her feelings.”
Byakuya doesn’t recall asking him to elaborate.
“I’ve seen it,” Touko pipes up, fidgeting her hands. “I didn’t watch any Disney movies as a kid, but Komaru has shown me some... I really enjoyed M-Megara’s character. She resonated with me a lot.”
A character that’s similar to Touko isn’t what Byakuya would expect from that kind of mass media company. And from what he knows of Megara from Greek mythology, he can’t see the resemblance. He turns to her, curious. “Why is that?”
“You should totally watch it sometime, Togami-chi!” says Yasuhiro before Touko can reply. “You could get together with Fukawa-chi, sit on the couch, share some popcorn...”
Touko growls. “Don’t interrupt me!”
“Sorry, sorry!” Yasuhiro says, wincing.
She looks at Byakuya again. “The character, Megara... Her story in the movie is different to her usual depiction in Greek mythology. In the movie, s-she sold her soul to Hades in a deal to bring back her dead lover, only for him to fall in love with someone else. It left her jaded and unable to trust easily, until she met Hercules...”
“That is quite different,” replies Byakuya. “In Greek mythology, she’s gifted to Hercules by her father for winning a war. Then, while Hercules was under a spell of madness, he murdered their children and in many retellings slayed her as well.”
“He’s different in the movie. Much more... palatable. In the mythology, as you will know, with his third wife, Deianira, he was constantly unfaithful and abusive toward her, and h-he even...”
“Girl, don't be proud! It's okay you're in love!” Yasuhiro belts along with the radio, earning glares from both Byakuya and Touko.
The song peters out soon after and the next rolls on. It immediately starts with dialogue as well, in English again, but this time with goofy voices that Yasuhiro tries to imitate.
“I can see what’s happening, and they don’t have a clue. They'll fall in love, and here's the bottom line. Our trio's down to two.”
“Is this from that movie as well?” asks Byakuya.
“Nope. Still Disney, but Lion King this time,” says Yasuhiro.
Byakuya squints. “Are you playing a Disney CD?”
“Yep!”
“Do you have anything else we can listen to?”
“The CD tray won’t open. It’s jammed.”
Of course.
“Does your radio have an off switch?” asks Byakuya.
“Aw, it’s not that bad! Did you really not watch any Disney movies growing up, Togami-chi?”
“No, I didn’t. I was more interested in works by directors such as Shinya Tsukamoto and Seijun Suzuki.”
Touko, who had been listening and quietly twiddling her fingers, perks up. “E-Excellent taste, Byakuya-sama! And it’s thanks to you helping me overcome my fear of blood that I could recently watch one of Tsukamoto’s finest works.”
Byakuya knows exactly which she is referring to. The premise is that the main character had double vision that caused her to hallucinate doppelgangers who wanted to harm her child. He had recommended it to Touko, actually.
“That one was interesting, wasn’t it?” he says. “Mental health is still a rather taboo subject in this country. And you did well tolerating the graphic imagery, as her hallucinations about her son dying can get incredibly violent. There was also a lot of self-mutilation in it with the main character...”
“Indeed. But she did it for an unusual reason... She was fascinated by her body’s determination t-to stay alive. It was gruesome, but I couldn’t tear my eyes away. It was strangely cathartic...”
“I thought you would enjoy it. You know, when I look at you, due to your alter, it’s as if I see two people that appear the same but are remarkably different... one being a serial killer, and the other of course being you.”
“Can you feel the love tonight?” warbles a woman’s voice.
“Hey, uh, it’s nice seeing you two get along and all, but let’s keep the tone light, ‘right?” says Yasuhiro, frowning.
Byakuya and Touko glare at him. It’s not that he’s wrong - over time, Byakuya has discovered that he and Touko share a number of interests, and their discussions can get quite deep and passionate. So yes, he and Touko can and do get along now, but he doesn’t need Yasuhiro to say that. Or to interrupt their discussion.
According to Byakuya’s wristwatch, they should reach Hope’s Peak in approximately five minutes. Only one, maybe two more songs can play within that time. Then Byakuya can leave the car, go into work, and finally...
“Uh oh,” Yasuhiro says loudly. “Traffic!”
Byakuya and Touko both look outside of the car and stiffen. Last time he checked, a mere minute ago, the road had been busy with just the usual morning traffic. Now motor vehicles pack them in on all sides and cram the road as far as he can see. They're all at a standstill.
“Huh. Is it the Pride Parade already?” asks Yasuhiro.
“That was last month,” says Byakuya. He scowls. “Idiot, we all went together, remember?”
“Welcome to the impromptu Sayaka Maizono Tribute Act!” booms a disembodied feminine voice. “Today would have been her early twenty something birthday... so to celebrate her life, we have taken over the city to play her songs all day! Let's kick things off with a classic... Let's Be In Together, Best Friend’!”
Obnoxious pop music blasts from outside of Yasuhiro's car. Touko shrieks, while Byakuya restrains himself to a shoulder twitch. For this supposedly being an impromptu event, the organisers seem to have fitted speakers throughout the city with remarkable speed. Around them, the other vehicles empty out as their occupants stand on their roofs and start dancing to the beat.
“This is unbelievable,” says Byakuya. “I'm walking the rest of the way.”
He tries to open the door, only for it to not budge. Hopefully it's just child lock, though he wouldn't be surprised if the door is broken.
“Unlock the door,” says Byakuya.
Yasuhiro shakes his head. “No can do, I’m afraid. It’s too wild out there, Togami-chi. And hot... Without the air con, you’d melt within seconds. This is for your own safety.”
As if on cue, the people outside start jumping and screaming. Touko yelps and hides her head under her arms, as if a group of hooligans will leap over to their car and start stomping on it too. It's peculiar how someone so strong, who had helped save a city, save the world, is cowering at ordinary nine-to-five workers dancing. Then again, Touko has always seemed to view the world in a unique way.
Touko is a peculiar person.
“In here, we’re safe. There’s nothing to worry about,” says Yasuhiro. Byakuya tears his gaze from the roof.
“We’re due at work very soon,” he reminds him in a tight voice.
“Ah.” Yasuhiro wags a finger. “That's where you're wrong. Check the teachers’ group chat.”
The smirk on Yasuhiro's face is unbearable. Byakuya pulls out his phone and swats at the screen until he brings up the aforementioned chat. Near the bottom is a message from Makoto Naegi.
‘Hi all, classes are cancelled today - there's a music event going on in the city centre and most of the students are bunking off to take part, so I figure we may as well officially have a day off today. Have fun!’
“What sort of headmaster is this?” Byakuya says in disbelief, staring at his phone.
“One who was a close friend of the person everyone’s celebrating, as well as the older brother of a fanatic Sayaker,” replies Touko.
“Look on the bright side, now you’re not going to be late,” says Yasuhiro, grinning widely. “You can stay here with me and Fukawa-chi without worry!”
Either Byakuya can brave trekking back home through the city in the heat, where it's congested and he risks being swept into a stampede, or continue to sit in Yasuhiro’s car.
“Tell me, princess. Now when did you last let your heart decide?” warbles the radio.
Byakuya starts pulling harder on the door handle. Yasuhiro twitches.
“Togami-chi! You’re gonna break my car!”
“And it’s not already falling apart?” Byakuya snaps.
A rare look of seriousness washes across Yasuhiro’s face.
“I see now... I know what’s happening.” Yasuhiro opens the sunroof. “You’re hungry. Tell you what. There’s a generic fast food restaurant nearby. I’ll grab us an early lunch before the midday rush. You two stay here and I’ll be right back. You can pay me back later.”
“Wait. Why are you able to leave but not me?” asks Byakuya.
Yasuhiro gives him a pitying look. “Togami-chi, I hate to break it to ya, but you look like the sort of person that people would want to rob.”
“What?”
Without another word, Yasuhiro climbs out through the sunroof. The car shakes a bit as he clomps across the bonnet before jumping off. Then he disappears into the crowd, leaving Byakuya and Touko alone in the car together.
“The only person who has been robbed is me, as you've stolen my heart,” says Touko, placing a hand over her heart.
Byakuya’s eyes roll. “If I possessed your heart, you would be dead.”
As quick as a cat, Touko clasps her hands together and says, “Ah... that explains it.”
“Explains what?”
“I died, and so I am in heaven...”
Some people have the nerve to clap back at him. Others just have the capability. Few possess both qualities. In the past, Byakuya would have dismissed her as being stupid or delusional, but he has come to acknowledge, almost admire, her responses.
He clicks his tongue. With the sunroof open, music pours in from outside, a song called ‘Girls Are Yummy.’ It meshes with the off-key singing of the audience, and the radio's tune.
“That fool left the sunroof open,” says Touko, squinting upward.
“And he left the radio on,” adds Byakuya.
If he's going to be detained in Yasuhiro’s car for some time, he may as well try to make himself more comfortable. He leans over between the front seats. First, he locks the car, in case someone tries to drag him out and get him to join in the celebrations. Then he focuses on the sunroof and radio. Though he succeeds in shutting the sunroof, which only slightly muffles the noise that had been pouring in from outside, the radio doesn't respond to any of his button presses.
This goes beyond the CD tray being jammed. Frowning, he stretches over to take the keys out of the ignition, but the music continues even then.
“What...?”
Without the engine on, the radio shouldn’t be able to play anything. Yet it is. After a few more attempts at pressing on the radio, Byakuya stops shy of punching it, instead returning the key so they can have air con again and withdrawing back.
His weight shifts. He wobbles. Falls backward. And onto Touko's lap.
“Yes, you want her. Look at her, you know you do. Possible she wants you too. There is one way to ask her,” sings the radio.
“I was enjoying the view before, but I think I prefer this side of you,” says Touko, smirking.
Byakuya’s face burns. “You need to watch your mouth.”
“Do I? We’re finally alone,” says Touko, undeterred. “Now that oaf’s gone.”
She isn’t wrong.
“Nobody’s paying us any attention,” she says, with a smile that sends a shiver down him. “They’re all engrossed in the event.”
That smile used to repulse him. Used to make his skin crawl, his stomach flutter. He supposes her smile still has that effect on him, but now he doesn't mind the sensation so much. Dare he say he might even like it. Enough that he brushes some hair from her face and tucks it behind her ear so he can see the curve of her lips better.
“In that movie by Tsukamoto, despite the danger of being around the main character, her guardian angel loves her and lets her use him as a punching bag,” says Touko.
“Perhaps he is just a figment of her imagination?” he suggests lightly, his hand resting on her cheek still.
Touko hums. “He could be real.”
“You referred to him as a guardian angel.”
“That’s not a contradiction.”
Byakuya clicks his tongue, looking at her while she looks at him. When her smile widens, he smiles back slightly.
“Sha-la-la-la-la-la. Float along and listen to the song. The song say kiss the girl,” the radio warbles.
It wouldn’t have mattered if a different song had been playing, or if the radio had been silent. Byakuya still would have leaned in, and their lips still would have met. His eyes flutter shut. Keeping his hand on her cheek, his other holds her upper arm. Their mouths lock together, slowly enough that the movement doesn’t disturb their glasses. He can’t see her, and with the cacophony going on all around them, he can barely hear her either, barely hear her quiet mewls and hitches of breath. But he can feel her fingers curl in his hair, feel her body press closer. A hand lands on his thigh. And he can feel her warmth.
When his head draws back slightly, his lips tingle. Hers remain puckered.
“I suppose it’s not too bad being here after all,” he remarks quietly. To think he would be saying this in Yasuhiro Hagakure’s car. Or while surrounded by fevered idol fans. But Touko has always been an anomaly. When others defy him, his spit becomes acid. Yet when she stands her ground, he places his feet by hers. “Though I’m surprised you accepted a lift from Hagakure this morning. I thought Naegi and I were the only guys you felt comfortable being in a car alone with.”
“That’s still true...” Touko squirms a bit. “I would have declined if he hadn’t said he was giving you a lift because your car wouldn’t start.”
That makes Byakuya flinch.
“Byakuya-sama?” she says, confused.
“That can’t be right,” he tells her. “Hagakure stumbled upon me when my car was refusing to start. Then after I got in the car, he said he was on his way to collect you...”
Byakuya looks away from her, as if expecting the car’s interior to grow teeth and crush them. For a trap, any trap, to be revealed. Instead, he spots Yasuhiro, whose grinning face is pressed against the window. Soon after, Touko notices him too and shrieks. Yasuhiro jolts back with a scream.
“Hagakure!” Byakuya seethes while Touko disentangles herself from him. Both are equally flustered. He could ask Yasuhiro how long he was there for, but right now he’d rather not know. “Explain yourself. How were you able to tell Fukawa you were giving me a lift to work this morning before I told you that my car had broken down?”
“I... um...” Yasuhiro tries to smile again. “I have good intuition?”
“I will phone your mother in precisely three seconds if you don’t explain yourself.”
“No! Anything but that!” Yasuhiro squeezes his hands together, trembling. “Okay, so I might have loosened the battery terminal before you went out this morning... but I did so with good intentions! You and Fukawa-chi were about to get together and kiss just now, ‘right? I’m doing you a favour.”
Byakuya stares at him, wide-eyed. A few seconds later, his brow furrows.
“Idiot,” he says. “We’ve been dating for five months.”
Yasuhiro’s head jerks back. “Huh?”
Touko’s initial shock at seeing him quickly melts. She shoots a fiery glare his way.
“W-Weren’t you paying attention when Byakuya-sama announced our new relationship status at lunch five months ago?” she asks.
“I think I was going through a phase with a certain mobile game and must have missed him saying it,” says Yasuhiro, scratching his head.
“We’ve held hands on multiple occasions,” says Byakuya. “We’ve kissed in your presence.”
Yasuhiro clicks his fingers.
“Oh yeah. That’s right, I remember now. Well, anyway, I brought lunch.” He tries to open the door. “Can you let me back in please?”
“No,” says Byakuya. “You wanted us to be alone in here, so we’ll give you your wish.”
“And we don’t need any of your shitty food either. We h-have the lunch I made for myself and Byakuya-sama to enjoy,” adds Touko.
“Hey, I put a lot of effort into setting this all up!” Yasuhiro shoves his paper bag containing fast food against the car window. “I had to prove my loyalty to the Official Sayakers Fan Club by buying a year's membership, then I had to get a tattoo on my butt before they’d hear my idea out on their reddit. Also, it’s my car!”
Only Yasuhiro would think that would endear himself to anyone in any way. Byakuya wishes he was in the driver’s seat so he could run Yasuhiro over. Except there’s too much traffic to move the car even if he wanted to. Traffic that Yasuhiro created with his pointless scheme.
“Scram!” says Byakuya.
“Ignore him, darling.” Touko touches a hand to his cheek and turns his head toward her. “Or would it help if I distracted you?”
Before he can think of a reply, her lips soar up and latch onto his. A shiver washes through Byakuya, tingling in his extremities. He’s fully aware that Yasuhiro can see them, and though Yasuhiro has seen them kiss before, this feels different somehow. Like being in this enclosed space means what they’re doing should be totally private. Yet when she pushes him onto his back and lies on top of him, he has no desire to break free. And when her tongue kneads at the divide between his lips, he grabs her behind with one hand and opens his mouth.
If Yasuhiro likes movies so much, Byakuya will give him a full goddamn performance.
“No! Please!” Yasuhiro bangs on the window. “Not on the seats! I only just got them cleaned from when I tried this with Naegi-chi and Kirigiri-chi last week!”

((Hi hi! I’m sure you know how I do my lil drabble things. You are free to do as you like with them. Hoard them, reply to them, post them as is, etc. You can consider them canon or otherwise, all good!))
-
Who didn’t know Haru to be that dedicated friend who always liked to celebrate others and to show affection to those that she cared for? Not only that, who didn’t know that Haru was very willing to call in some favors to a certain ‘scary’ Cloud Guardian whenever it suited her on the basis that they were on friendly terms. He’d never admit to it, but Haru has a ‘built-in Tsundere radar’ as she calls it to understand the truth.
Over the years, Hibari had grown used to being the primary person Haru would ask a favor to deliver gifts to the mafia don herself. Sometimes she’d request the same of Ryohei or Yamamoto whenever they were in Japan. They both did a fair amount of travel for their work as well. Sometimes, if it worked into her schedule and Tsuna had come to visit Japan herself, Haru would have some gifts that she’d been hoarding in the corner of her room to gift to her friend.
It wasn’t a promise that was ever spoken, but if Tsuna had arrived to Japan, there was always some time set aside for the two women to spend time together. It was almost like an unspoken promise between them. As Haru would say, ‘it’s friendship law to spend time after being apart for so long!’
Hibari walked up to Tsuna and handed her a bag. “For your birthday,” is all he said before he turned to leave. As usual, the aloof man who didn’t stay in one place for very long, as per his aloof tendencies. Unless business matters called or there was a fight brewing, he didn’t stay still for long, and that was something everyone had long since accepted about him.
Inside of the bag were a number of things, including a number of letters. One was from Kyoko wishing her a happy birthday. There were two other letters, one bigger than the other. In the bigger one, was letters written by the children who wanted to wish their aunty a happy birthday. The kids drew little drawings in their letters and some pasted pressed flowers to decorate their letters. The last envelope contained a letter from Haru.
[Kyoko’s letter]
Dear Tsu-chan, Hope you’re doing well! Haru and I are doing well in Japan. The children are growing up well, and I think you’d be happy to see how well they’ve been acclimating to life in Japan. Everyone is working hard for the Vongola, and that’s great, but don’t forget to get rest. It’s important to take care of yourself. You’ve done so much for the Vongola, changing some things for the better and I’m always proud to be your friend. We may be far apart, but I’m always thinking about you and hoping for the best. The next time you visit Japan, we should go to a new cake shop that opened up. I think there is a cake there that you’ll really like. Sorry that we can’t be there in person to celebrate your birthday with you, but our hearts are always with you. Haru and I both made your gift together, hope you like it! With love, Kyoko Sasagawa
…
[Haru’s letter]
Dear Tsu-chan, Haru hopes that you’re in good health when you’re reading this, or she’s going to have to scold you the next time we see each other in person, you know? Haru will give a stink eye to the guys too for not paying enough attention to you. [she drew a small pout face] Joking aside, Haru is sure that you’re doing well. She trusts everyone to do their best to care for themselves. Kyoko and I are doing well in Japan and the kids are also fairing well. We miss seeing you, but we know that you’re doing great and important things in Italy. We’re so proud of everything that you do. You are doing what you can and we’re here doing what we can. Don’t forget that if you ever get tired and need someone to listen, Haru can always lend a figurative shoulder. Sleep isn’t as important as you. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to celebrate your birthday in person! For now, we have to utilize Hibari-san as a delivery-service [she drew a laughing face] This year, Kyoko and I attended a pottery class and we made a cup and plate shaped for you. You should find it in the bag. Hope you like it! Love, Haru Miura
…
The children all wrote letters as well with simple messages wishing her a happy birthday. There were lots of pressed flowers, drawn doodles, and one child made a bookmark.
Inside of the bag was an orange box with two carefully wrapped ceramic pieces. One was a mug that looked like a lion’s head with ears jutting out. The plate was long, so it had plenty of space left over for her to place snacks on the plate even after she places her mug atop the plate. A dual-purpose plate was just peak efficiency.
It had a shape of a pawprint at the one end of the plate, with each paw pad being outlined with a groove so she could put different snacks in each paw pad if she wanted to.
This set probably couldn’t be used with company around, but it was something that she could enjoy in the peace and privacy of her own home.
There seemed to be another gift in the corner of the bag, placed in a small box. Inside was a chain brooch, the kind that you attach to lapels of any dress shirt or a suit-coat. On one end of the chain brooch was a lion with embedded orange gems on the mane. On the other end of the chain was the emblem of the Vongola with the sky symbol. Clearly, there was some custom-work done on this piece. There was no note that came along with the gift.
If Tsuna were to ask Haru about the chain brooch at a later date, Haru would’ve informed her that it wasn’t anything that she prepared as a gift, so that one had come from Hibari. Perhaps, he was too ‘shy’ to openly convey his birthday wishes to her.
Was he actually shy? No, but it was Haru’s troll-antics that liked to spin things in weird ways as small jokes. In reality it was simply: Hibari was aloof and it was in his nature to put his gift in with the other gifts and allow her to piece together the mystery for herself. His ‘boss’ can’t have such a slow wit, after all. She can figure it out.
One day during one of his travels, he saw the chain brooch on display with two lions embedded with green emeralds, and he’d consulted with the jeweler to make some modifications to replace the emeralds with golden citrine gems instead as they most closely resembled the color of the Sky flames. Additionally, the gem is said to be great in absorbing and dissipating negative energy while bringing an abundance and prosperity to the owner.
Did he believe that their ‘healing abilities’ included benefits such as anxiety relief, boosting confidence, providing protection, providing good fortune and success amongst other perks? No, but if it were true, that would be nice, he thought. Though on the other end of the chain was the same lion facing the other direction, he’d put in a special request for something else instead. He’d custom ordered the Vongola emblem with the sky symbol to replace the one lion brooch.
This chain brooch would be pinned on the lapels of dress shirts. It would be quite fitting for her, wouldn’t you think?
Tsuna sat down in the comfortable armchair in her Florence apartment. Beside her on the table was a cup of tea, its gentle aroma mixing with the scent of the autumn day drifting in through the open window. On her lap rested a package Hibari had just delivered. As always, his approach was curt and reserved—no unnecessary words, just a brief "For your birthday" and a quick departure. She remained seated for a moment, smiling at his typical way of communicating.
She opened the package slowly, as if trying to prolong the joy of anticipation. The first thing she found were letters. As she began reading Kyoko's handwriting, delicate and precise as always, her heart warmed. Kyoko's words were filled with love, support, and that natural optimism that always had a calming effect on her. The mention of new pastries from a bakery in Japan made her laugh. "Yes, Kyoko, we will definitely make time," she murmured to herself, flipping the letter over to read the next one.
Haru… Haru was always the livelier, more spontaneous one. Her doodled smiley faces and little notes in the letter brought a wide grin to Tsu-chan's face. "Haru never fails to brighten the day," she thought. She could clearly imagine her, enthusiastically picking out gifts while simultaneously planning their next adventure as soon as they reunited.
The letters from the children were the highlight. Tsuna felt her eyes well up with tears as she read their simple yet sincere wishes, brimming with childlike innocence. The little drawings, pressed flowers, and even a handmade bookmark—every small detail reminded her that, despite the hectic life she led, there were still people who thought of her with love. She gently ran her fingers over the drawings and smiled. "Maybe it's time to visit Japan again," she pondered.
Then her gaze fell on the ceramics. The lion-shaped mug made her laugh immediately. It was so whimsical, with its adorable ears, that she could already picture herself drinking her morning cappuccino from it. The plate with paw prints was equally practical and amusing. "Kyoko and Haru have outdone themselves again—exactly how I like it," she said, carefully placing the ceramics on the table to display them later.
But there was one more gift. A small box tucked into the corner of the package. She opened it with curiosity, and when she revealed the chain brooch, she paused in silence for a moment. The lion motif and orange gemstones… everything about it exuded elegance and symbolism. She gently ran her fingers over the details of the brooch. On one side, a lion; on the other, the Vongola emblem with the Sky symbol.
Hibari.
"So quiet, yet he knows exactly what to choose," she thought. It wasn’t an ordinary gift. It was thoughtful, perfectly reflecting her position and personality. She spent the rest of the day trying the brooch on various blazers and shirts, pondering where she could wear it so it would be visible but not too conspicuous.
In the evening, as she sat on the balcony watching the setting sun, she picked up Kyoko's and Haru's letters again. "Family," she murmured softly. "It's not always about blood. It's about who thinks of you, who brightens your day, and who gives you the feeling that you are not alone."
These small gestures—letters, gifts, even Hibari's peculiar way of showing care—reminded her that even in the chaotic world of the mafia, she was still surrounded by love.

16. A memory that makes them angry
16. a memory that makes them angry ( cw; blood )
Word of Sombron’s demise spread until the entire world knew but not before his traitorous Fell Children knew first. Nil was more than aware- after all, he had been there. Standing on the same battlefield as that decisive clash, watching with bated breath for the destinies of two, and now laying his ears upon the confirmation. No survivors- no Fell Dragon, no Divine Dragon. Only shock, only the void. Only anger.
—you bitch.
“What was that, Lord Nil?”
'Lord Nil' snapped out of his reverie. The messenger was looking at him like he were an eight-headed snake- faintly dazed, his face shiny with sweat. Like he'd lacked a horse for his duties and instead staked a hard trot through the encampment to spread the news wide. Nil noticed that. Good. He had slipped; said his mind aloud, but not so loudly that it couldn’t be twisted into something else. Pinned on someone’s exhaustion, if need be.
“—can’t be right,” he sniffled on a sorrowful sleight of expression. “T-The Divine Dragon was so strong. I just can’t believe that she lost—that she’s gone, just like that. It's too unfair!” 'What's unfair is that Father lost. If you were going to die you should have done it alone.'
He lowered his gaze- the two windows into his most vicious thoughts. His spider-black lashes were wet, the space beneath his nose too as he swiped at it absently with the back of his hand. “Please. I'd like some time to myself.”
That honored request at least was nothing but honest. Behind a wall and a door slid closed, he tended to his anger. Wiped at his nose again, learning that the wet feeling he'd attributed earlier to tears and mucus had been a subtle welling of blood- the body's reaction to stressful news. Or not. His nose had likewise bled when Father's body struck the ground, too.
He flicked the thought away like a bug on his finger, choked beneath a perplexing ocean of others. Because there was sadness too, even if it were merely an undercurrent swelling beneath the greater tide of his hatred. Because no mirror was forever impenetrable; each one had a crack, chipped by age or some blow harsher than any other, and perhaps for him this was that moment.
The Fell Heir's lips pressed together tightly. His heart a compact ball of fire and fury that seared the inside of his chest, its gem-studded surface unbearably hot to the touch. He gazed inwards into himself and the reflection wasn't so clear anymore- he couldn't tell what parted his truth from his lies. Was it hatred that he felt? Sadness? For Father? For her? Both? He didn't know- couldn't know. It stung, Nil knew alone. It burned, Rafal seized his chest with clenching, searching fingers as if he could tear the root of it all away. It hurt. His mind and body felt the same.
The blood of his nose dripped down his chin, right onto the hungry dragonstone.
#◜ ₊ — 𝓡 ˚ ₊ 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐁𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ╱ drabble.#shadoll#cw blood#engage spoilers#hiya and thank you for the ask tsu :) :)#this is my cue to say i've always envisioned sombron's hex as having a death based trigger#as in sombron obviously wouldn't need rafal for his post mortem schemes until he'd actually died#and after the curse comes into play. BOOM. hateful emotions amplified#his feelings on his divine one were already complicated but they definitely became more (handwave) after the fact

Tsukasa Tenma is MANY things, and distant is not one of them. Of course, you’ve always known that - being one of the things that drew you to the blonde in the first place, finding his restless nature endearing - but seriously, this has gotten ridiculous.
“I haven’t seen you in forever!” he groans, pulling your hand into his. In reality, it’s been MAYBE two hours (which without you is a lifetime - or so he says…)
“You were at rehearsal, what did you want me to do, sit there and stare at you?” you cock your head, he looks away, embarrassed.
“Well when you put it that way,” he huffs, “it sounds like i’m some attention freak..” you giggle.
“Maybe you ar-” you’re interrupted by a feeling - and taste - you know very well.. DAMNIT, he did it again! Your eyes close gently as his lips move against yours, pulling you against him. One hands on your waist, the other cupping your cheek. You can’t believe you fell for this again! He hums into the kiss contently, pulling you closer. Taking it as a good opportunity to miss with him, you pull away, laughing silently from the way he follows your kiss, lips following yours for a couple inches.
“Hey!” he pulls you closer again, “I wasn’t finished!!”
“We’re standing outside of school, can we not have a make out session?” an imaginary storm cloud forms over his head as he pouts.
“I feel like this is one sided…” you tug his hand, starting to walk home.
“Don’t be so huffy, let’s just walk home, ‘kasa.” he perks up a bit, suddenly walking with a bit more enthusiasm. He decides to tease you.
“Who said I wanted to come over?”
“Who said I was kissing you again?” that shut him up
“I don’t like you…”
“Love you too! Now tell me about rehearsal, how’re the girls?”

Tsukki x You Drabbles
Most people probably think Tsukishima would be the cruel and snarky jealous type or give the silent treatment and then get you home and suddenly start to devour you and remind you that you’re his and only his.
But what if he’s a sweet lil insecure baby who just needs to know that you’re there and you love him….
“Oh, hi Makoto! Long time no see!” You shout as you hug the man who called your name across the shop.
You and Kei are out Christmas shopping for your families when you ran into an old friend. You have known Makoto since grade school and haven’t seen him years after graduation. He’s grown up, a lot, you notice. Fitting well into a nice tailored suit under a long tan coat.
“It’s been so long,” he smiles at you, holding your shoulders as he takes in your adult figure. “How have you been?”
“I’m doing well, thanks, how are you? How’s the law firm?” You ask him.
Kei comes around the corner to see another man’s arms on you, glaring at you with pointed eyes from where he stops in his tracks. He’s hard to miss in the small shop and you quietly beckon him over.
“Makoto, this is my boyfriend, Tsu-“ you begin to introduce him as he walks up next to you.
“Tsukishima Kei,” he nods, stiffly to the man who was so comfortable groping you in public, but has now since stiffened at the sight of your, very tall, very muscular, boyfriend.
“N-nice to meet you,” Makoto mumbles as he offers his hand in greeting.
Kei ignores the gesture, feigning turning to browse the items next to him as you apologetically smile at Makoto on his behalf.
“Well,” Makoto recovers himself. “Sorry to have interrupted your evening, you two have a good night.”
“It was so good to see you again,” you nod to him as he leaves you and Kei alone again.
“Kei,” you whisper his name to his back that he has turned on you.
Reaching out for his shoulder to turn him to face you, he huffs and walks down the aisle without you. Biting your lip, you silently follow him, preparing yourself for what you know will be a quiet walk home.
Kei is the jealous type. He hates when men compliment you, look at you, or even breathe near you. And every time you interact with another man, you can see him clenching his jaw, and balling his hands into fists at his sides. He can’t hide it from you. Dating for two years, you’ve seen all sides of him.
He barely looks at you, let alone says a word to you. He lets you know that he’s hurt by keeping his distance. Putting up his walls that you spent so much time breaking down, that it hurts you as well. But you know it’s only temporary. He never stays upset, he just needs to process his emotions in his own way, as you’ve learned.
So you let him, as you both casually walk through the shop three feet apart. Watching him from behind as he scans the items on the shelves, not really paying attention to them, just putting on a front that he’s looking for a gift. When really you can see his mind whirling with his thoughts and insecurities.
Kei doesn’t know that you know he’s insecure. He doesn’t know that Yamaguchi once told you, what Kei thinks of himself and why he’s so jealous. He doesn’t know that you know <em>why</em> he built his walls in the first place. So he wouldn’t get hurt. So he would never again have to feel the way he felt all those years ago.
It pains you to know all this. Pains you that he’s never told you any of this himself before. But you let him know you’re not going anywhere by staying by his side, even if it’s three feet apart. You’re his shadow as he walks along, glancing back at you every so often, just to make sure you’re still there.
When you’re ready to leave the store, you silently take his hand in yours and lead him to the exit, walking down the street back to your shared flat.
While you watch him slip off his coat, and hang in on the rack, you softly run your hands downs his back. Wordlessly telling him, you’re with him.
There’s a few seconds of continued silence that fills the space around you two, then he sighs, deeply. The weight of his insecure thoughts finally lifted as you turn him to face you, your hands sliding up his chest to wrap around the back of his neck. Pulling him down to press a gentle kiss on the corner of his lips.
“I love you, Kei,” you whisper in his ear as his arms hold you close, pulling you into him and breathing in the scent of your shampoo.
“I know,” he sighs, his voice so small in the crook of your neck that you barely hear him. “I love you,” he kisses into your skin.
Relief washes over you as he lets you back in. His walls coming down around you with every kiss you press into his cheeks, jaw and neck.
“Tell me again?” He breathes, running his fingers through your hair as he stares down at you with his sweet, pleading eyes.
“I am yours,” you kiss into his lips, just as you always do when he gets this way. “And you are mine.”
And just as you always do, you gently lead him to the bedroom to show him just how much you love him.

For the Drabble requests: MHA characters vs boggarts or whatever the creature in HP is that turns into your greatest fear?
Teddy didn’t notice it for what it was, at first.
They thought it was a quirk, really. What other reason would there be for the flickering version of Tomura Shigaraki with its attention torn between their classmates? There was no small, contained space full of fear. No scent of magic on the air. It was a perfectly mundane horror that was perfectly in line with what why would expect from the LOV.
They didn’t notice that there were too many hands. Too many fingers full of decay and death. They were too busy trying to get close enough to Tsu and Ochako and the others to help.
Todoroki got there first.
The Shigaraki turned slowly, form jittering and jolting as it moved, but when those red eyes landed on Todoroki it changed.
Shouto staggered as he met the burning eyes of his father, larger than life and with burning hands already reaching for him. The warped funhouse image of a child looking up, up, up through tears at a monster they could never escape.
Iida slammed into Todoroki’s shoulder before the monstrous version of his father could touch him, but when he turned the broken bleeding form of his brother looked back at him with cold dead eyes. He stumbled back, engines cutting out as he let out a choked cry.
“It’s not real!” They tried to scream, tried to shove their way closer. They might as well not have said anything for how much the heard them.
For how much Izuku heard them as they stepped forward.
They expected to see All Might dead. Expected to see the League’s “Sensei”. Expected to see so many things.
It took the form of an old man in a doctor’s coat instead, his mouth forming a word that only Teddy caught before they finally, finally reached their classmates and pushed their way to the front.
“Quirkless,” The boggart had said, spitting the word like a curse in the heartbeat before it changed again. Behind them, Teddy could feel Izuku flinch.
The change this time was slower, a whirling mass of color and shapes before it finally settled on the form of Teddy’s deepest fear. Sluggish and slow after so many quick jumps in a row.
Teddy didn’t let themself waver as the form of their dad appeared in front of them, his throat ripped out in a jagged bleeding cut and what looked a lot like claw marks cutting through the lightning scar that took up so much of his face. Didn’t allow their hand to tremble as they held up their wand and forced themself to think of something, anything else.
“Riddikulus!”
The mauled form of Harry stumbled back, body shifting and changing until a small green wolf pup stood in front of them. The little thing tried to growl, but got distracted by it fluffy green tail and started to run in circles. Tripping over clumsy legs and flopping, dazed onto its back.
Teddy forced themself to laugh.
It burst in a shower of lights, leaving them all standing crowded around each other in silence.
Teddy’s knees gave out, and a cold arm wrapped around their waist before they could hit the ground. They tried to convince themself that the warm feeling of phantom blood on their hands and face was just a fear, the remnants of a waking nightmare, but even then they couldn’t stop shaking.
#the elf talks#mha#bnha#the elf’s birthday week bash#debated if this would be wsts or Teddy in 1-A but I like exploring teddys fears more

Neo here to do a thing because of many reasons including: yes. This is some background information and scenes for the @Signorinavongola’s Lady Boss AU. Some things had to change for—reasons, and so I’m writing some things out.
This is going to take me a while to write everything out and it’s going to be quite long, so I’m going to work on this as if it’s a multi-part series. Anything with a ❗ means that there is new/changed content from the previous drabble [x].
Word count: 9k+
[Revamped ch.11 scene from other thing to add onto the scene of Haru’s introduction.]
One morning, Reborn and Tsuna were strolling to school as they normally would in the morning, but they get stopped by a familiar voice (to one of them).
“Hold it! Haru had been observing you for some time now, and Haru needs answers. Tsu-chan, when did you have a new brother and not tell me about it?” She should know how much Haru adored children, so not telling her about a new brother… sacrilege! A betrayal! So mean-desu!
Not only that, “Haru also noticed you play mafia all the time. What kind of bad games are you playing with such a young child, Tsu-chan? Are you being forced into it by some of the neighboring kids?” Though it’s been some time since they last met, Haru and Tsuna were still childhood friends and she liked to believe she understood her friend well.
This wasn’t a kind of game that she would play with a kid, so there had to be a reason behind it. Maybe she was being bullied into it. If her friend needed someone who would sternly tell the bullies ‘no, we won’t play a game that is a bad influence on kids’ she’ll do it! She’ll be the first to volunteer!
“If you’re struggling to tell the bullies to stop playing the mafia game, Haru will do it for you to stop playing such a dangerous game with the baby.”
Reborn decides to act in Tsuna’s stead. “First off, I’m Tsuna’s tutor. It’s my job to raise Tsuna to be the 10th boss of the mafia. I cannot be separated from her until then.”
“… You’re taking the game too far! Tsu-chan, I can’t believe you!” As always, Haru was a firecracker when she was angered. She always acts or talks first and only when she’s calmed down would she listen.
Her phone beeps, and she quickly says her farewells before heading to school.
.
[New content alert!: Yamamoto consulting with Tsuna after noticing something is off about her]
.
“Hm? You had a fight with a friend?” Yamamoto couldn’t think of any friends Tsuna had in class aside from himself and Gokudera.
He listens to her recount what happened and the history that she had with her friend. So she had a ‘fight’ with her childhood friend. “To me, it just sounds like she misunderstood the situation because she doesn’t know the full details.”
Understandably, Tsuna didn’t have many friends, so it must be scary to think that she could lose one of her only friends. From what Tsuna had to say about this Haru girl, she seemed to be a smart and friendly person.
She had strong convictions and she was always ready to get mad at bullies on her behalf. Tsuna was worried about Haru finding out about how she is at school, so she put some distance between them. It worked out because as first years in middle school, they were busy adjusting to a new school.
“I dunno her, but from what you had to say about your Haru friend, she sounds like a good person who cares a lot about you.” Haru didn’t seem to care that Tsuna wasn’t the smartest, nor the most athletic. “I think, if you tried to talk to her again, she’d be willing to listen to you.”
This Haru girl liked Tsuna for her personality, so she should be willing to listen after her initial anger wears off. Surely she’d be willing to listen once she cools off? That’s Yamamoto’s theory, anyways.
He pats Tsuna’s shoulder, comfortingly. “How about this? I’ll get up earlier to walk with you to school tomorrow. I can give you support as you talk to her tomorrow, okay?”
Yamamoto Takeshi, the best support.
.
❗ [Back to regular scheduled programming. Haru confronts Tsuna and Yamamoto at the bridge]
.
“Good morning. It’s come to Haru’s attention that Reborn-chan is indeed a hitman and he is in fact training you to become a 10th generation mafia boss. Haru will put aside the fact she’s disappointed that you didn’t say anything to Haru.” Was she not your childhood friend?
Do childhood friends not talk to each other about important things in life? Was finding out you’re an upcoming mafia boss not big news to tell your childhood best friend? HM??? Haru would tell you if she fell in love for the first time (and it wasn’t cake)!
“If all that is true, then that means he’s been training you to be strong.” Haru has always known Tsuna to be a bit timid and weak to confrontations. She didn’t like to have fights with others and she’d much rather let things go than to confront someone.
That didn’t seem like a good quality to have for an upcoming mafia boss. Of course, Tsuna had a good heart. She cared for others and wanted things to be fair. She didn’t like to see others be hurt. That was what Haru liked about her… but… the mafia is different from her nature, isn’t it? Would she be able to fit in?
Did she have what it takes to truly be a mafia boss? (Bianchi may have ‘forgotten’ to mention that Tsuna was against being the next mafia boss and was actively trying to get out of it.)
“Haru understands that the mafia has to be strong and sometimes be cut-throat. If so, you may have to fight against old friends turned foe. Haru doesn’t want to, but-! As a friend, she will test you!” That would explain why she was wearing a suit of armor and holding a hockey stick in the morning.
Haru Miura was always so dramatic and… weird. Yamamoto was looking between Haru and Tsuna worriedly. It was good that it seemed that Haru now understood the situation, but… was Tsuna going to be okay with fighting her friend?
To him, it looked like Haru was very concerned with Tsuna and wanted to make sure her friend had the backbone necessary to be a boss. Otherwise, people would only walk over her and not respect her.
Well, that’s his theory anyways, given how she looks like she’s going to cry as she resolves herself to test her friend.
“Nyahaha! Lambo-san arrives! Reborn, I found you! DIE!” Another kid comes out of nowhere and throws a few grenades out.
Everyone took cover, but Haru couldn’t move so quickly with the bulky armor she had on. She was launched off the bridge and into the water below.
Surprisingly, before Yamamoto could think of how to react, Tsuna had already jumped into the water after her friend. It was reminiscent of how she also jumped off the rooftop to save him when he accidentally fell.
Not wanting for Reborn to shoot her with a bullet, resulting in her clothes being blown off, he jumps in right after them both. The armor looked heavy, so it would be too much for Tsuna to bring Haru back to safety.
He pulls the both to safety and helps them both dry themselves off. Haru changes into the spare clothes that she had hidden away nearby, and Tsuna changed into new clothes as well. A habit because of her clothes always being blasted off.
SNIFF
“Haru is sorry… she was just worried about you, and she was scared that you wouldn’t want to stand up for yourself if anyone disrespects you. Tsu-chan has always been too nice and timid to fight for herself.”
That was a fact that no one could deny. Haru had a pretty good understanding of her friend. She wasn’t well suited to be a mafia boss, but it didn’t seem like there was a choice in the matter.
“Haru thought that she could give you some of her own fighting spirit, you know? Maybe then you’ll be able to handle things… but… Haru sees that you do have a lot of bravery that you show in your own way. Thank you for jumping in after her, Tsu-chan.” Haru smiles, feeling proud of her friend.
She jumped in so soon after Haru was blown off the bridge, so she must not have hesitated. That took a lot of courage to do, and if she had that much courage… surely she’d be fine even if she had to be a mafia boss.
“Haha, I’m just glad that things turned out okay in the end. Usually, Tsuna goes into this crazy wild mode and her clothes go missing, leaving her in her underwear.” Yamamoto explains why he jumped in after the both of them so that Reborn wouldn’t have to act.
“Hahi! Your clothes disappear? That’s no good! If only your underwear survives… perhaps you could consider sportswear underneath your uniform?” That would at least offer a bit more modesty than being in only your undergarments.
She had yet another reason to be worried about her friend now. What girl would want to be found almost naked out in public where people could sneer and oogle? Not on her watch! “It’s settled,” Haru grabs Tsuna’s shoulders, “we’re going shopping this weekend. We’ll find clothes you can wear under your uniform so it’s less revealing. Haru isn’t taking no for an answer.”
The arcobaleno was watching over them chatting at the bank of the river from the bridge after having finished punishing Lambo for his stupidity.
“Hm… she looks like she’ll be a good influence on Tsuna. The necessary feminine touch she needs and a good friend to use as emotional support.” Reborn was impressed by the fact that Haru had recovered so quickly after being blown off the bridge.
Not only that, she accepted the fact that Reborn was a hitman and that Tsuna was a next generation mafia boss, but she still confronted her friend. That took a lot of guts. “She’d be the perfect example of a strong wife to the mafia. Tsuna can learn more from her example, about her guts.”
Of course, Tsuna and Haru’s situation would be different. Haru could marry a mafiosi but Tsuna would eventually marry someone into her famiglia and retain her position as the matriarch.
Still, she could learn a thing or two from Haru’s guts.
Guess he was going to look into inviting Haru to more things so she can rekindle her friendship with Tsuna again.
“Juudaime! What happened? Was it an attack? Who the hell is this? Get your paws off her, woman!”
“HAHI! WHO IS THIS RUDE RUFFIAN!? Tsu-chan do you know him?” Haru hugs her friend close to her and hisses at the new person who ran up to them. “Haru is Tsu-chan’s childhood friend, you ruffian! Bother Tsu-chan and you’ll answer to Haru!” She hisses again.
Gokudera wasn’t the sort who bowed down to anyone (minus his boss, of course, but that’s just a given)! What was courtesy and chivalry? Was it something he could eat or use to survive in the cutthroat world?
Spoiler alert: No.
“Childhood friend or not, you can’t keep me from Juudaime, you idiot woman!”
If there was one thing Haru has never been called, it was STUPID. Don’t you know that Haru is a Midori girl? You dare call a girl from an elite all girl’s school STUPID? She takes offense to that! “Haru isn’t stupid! Tsu-chan, who is this?” Haru’s gnashing her teeth together in irritation.
It was readily evident to everyone involved that Gokudera and Haru both had tempers that weren’t the most compatible with each other.
Yamamoto laughs, “Maa maa, let’s calm down. What matters most is that the both of you are okay after falling off the bridge.” Well, being blown off the bridge was more accurate. “Despite how he looks, Gokudera is a decent guy, you know? He’s one of Tsuna’s friends. You can trust him.”
Haru makes a face, to suggest she 100% did not believe Yamamoto. He was the savior of both her and Tsu-chan, after all… but still… she turns to glare at Gokudera who only glared at her back in return. “Haru is okay with you being her friend… but that one… Haru isn’t so sure. He looks like a yankee.” In that moment, Haru vowed to visit Tsuna more often to make sure Gokudera wasn’t being a bad influence on her. “Haru doesn’t know if she can trust a yankee.”
The day Tsuna starts smoking, gets tattoos, or anything, she was going to start a fight with this Gokudera punk.
“THE HELL WAS THAT? Better than trusting Juudaime with someone who had to be fished out of the river wearing full armor! You’re sooner a liability than anything.” Gokudera scoffs, offended by the fact that this Haru girl was insinuating that Tsuna couldn’t be trusted around him.
Sure, there was a time that he was a lone wolf who answered to no one. Yeah, he was quick to blow anyone up if they so much as looked at him funny, and SURE, he had a long way to go to even be a useful and reliable subordinate of Tsuna’s. It was something that he understood well, and it was something that he worried about.
That’s why he hones his skill and studies hard to figure out ways that he can make Tsuna’s life easier, but that doesn’t mean he wants someone else to say it! Screw her!
“HAHI!? Say that again, you PUNK!”
“Stupid woman!”
“Maa maa… come on, you guys. We have class to go too. How about we break things off here?” Yamamoto gets in between the two bickering teens.

[Ch.19 I decided to throw in the scene for Moretti. I do think a childhood friend dynamic would change a few things that I’d like to highlight.]
“Tsu-chan! Look at this! Haru is going to be a yakatabune for the play at the cultural festival!” She notices a dead man atop of Tsuna’s bed. “Hahi? Are you also practicing for something? That is very good stage effects make up.” Honestly? Haru is impressed!
The reaction of Tsuna’s didn’t seem very promising though as she was evidently in shock, and she admits that she’d actually killed someone.
Now it was Haru’s turn to be shocked as she walked back into the doorway, breaking her yakatabune costume that she made herself.
“What are you doing here!?”
“I don’t have club activities today, so I’m someone without anything to do, like you.”
Two voices could be heard in the hallway leading up to Tsuna’s room and Haru and Tsuna started to panic. How to explain what happened here? There is some dead guy that Tsuna shot to death in her bed?
Hm? That’s right, why is the guy in her bed? Haru was originally thinking about hiding but she had a revelation of the connotation of a guy in Tsuna’s bed, dead. Was this some pervert who had tried to do something nefarious to her friend in broad daylight? That was some nerve!
Tsuna was still probably reeling over the fact that she’d killed someone when the two guys walked into the room, confused on what was going on.
Haru acted, rushing to Tsuna’s side. “This man is clearly not a good man. He obviously had bad intentions!” With the strict gun laws of Japan, there was no way that this actual gun belonged to Tsuna. The only reasonable explanation was that the gun belonged to the man!
“Put the gun into his hands and put his fingerprints on it. IF anyone questions anything, you’re obviously the victim here. In the struggle to defend yourself, he accidentally shot himself.” That would be enough to convince the authorities, right? Would it be better if she put her fingerprints on the gun as well?
That was certainly tampering with the evidence, but… she couldn’t bare the thought of her childhood friend being sent to jail after having gone through such a traumatic experience.
“What gibberish are you talking about, Woman? Huh? What’s with the dead-” Gokudera sees the gun that was still in Tsuna’s hand and the dead person atop Tsuna’s bed. It didn’t take him long to piece together what had happened. To think that he hadn’t been around to defend his boss!
What a failure for the aspiring right handman!
“Hey, let’s all calm down for now. It’s not clear if the guy is dead yet, right?” Yamamoto spoke clearly, trying to calm the situation down. In these times, it was better to keep a level head than to panic.
That’s right! He might not be dead yet! In that case… Gokudera knelt next to the man, holding a lit cigarette over the man’s face. If he really had life left in him, it would be Gokudera’s job to finish the job. How dare he attack the 10th while she was still asleep!
This jerk deserved hell and more!
When the body twitched, Gokudera popped his cigarette back into his mouth and rolled up his sleeves. Time to finish the job, this outrageous villain!
Lucky for the soon-to-be-corpse, Yamamot holds him back from doing anything ‘stupid,’ and Haru latched onto Tsuna’s arm, “I bet he was thinking about leaving burn marks on that corpse. Hahi… how terrifying, and you trust him as a friend, huh?” She whispers. There was a lot that Haru could say about Tsuna’s recent trend for making friends, but Haru would trust in Tsuna’s judgement.
No matter how many times Haru questioned it, Tsuna would always say that Gokudera wasn’t a bad guy and that she viewed him as a friend. An enemy of an enemy is a friend indeed, but maybe the opposite was true? A friend of a friend is an enemy? Yeah, that makes sense, with the way they always fought once they laid eyes on each other.
“Hey, I saw him twitch, so he might still be alive. Maybe we should call the ambulance?”
“Hahi! An ambulance!” There was hope for her friend yet! If he lived, then no one could possibly be charged for murder! Maybe assault, but surely they could figure out a way around it!
Reborn walks into the room with a drunk man in tow. “I’ve already called a doctor.”
“Ah! It’s him! He was one of the doctors that was hired to work at the castle exclusively, but he’d always come around with a new woman, saying that they were his sisters… I thought for the longest time that he had 62 siblings…”
“What the heck is that!?” Yamamoto laughs, and Haru stifles a small laugh. ‘It sounds like young Gokudera-san was pretty cute with how naïve he was. Hm? Wait… 62 siblings…?’
“Yo, it’s you, Hayato,” the drunk man greets.
“Don’t talk to me! I don’t want to be infected by your womanizing ways, you womanizer!”
Haru grabs onto Tsuna’s arms and pulls her into the corner of the room, acting like she’s being repelled by the force of a womanizer’s aura. If this ‘doctor’ is a womanizer like Gokudera says, she had to protect them both.
“Cut the nonsense and ask him to look at the patient.” Reborn reminds them all of the pressing matters at hand.
“Right! Can you help us look at the patient?” Yamamoto motions to the guy on the bed, but for some reason Dr.Shamal approaches the girls instead. Before he couch reach out with his hands to touch either of them, Haru hisses.
“Haru will punch you if you get any closer.” That’s not a threat but a promise, you sham of a doctor!
Dr.Shamal shrugs his shoulders, “they both look fine upon a cursory glance. That one is feisty.” He points at Haru. “They’re both cute, too.”
A shiver runs down Haru’s spine at the comment and she pulls Tsuna to another part of the room far away from Dr.Shamal and behind Yamamoto and Gokudera. This creep cannot be trusted! She can see that lecherous glint in his eyes!
“Old man, this guy is the patient!” Gokudera points to the ‘corpse.’
Glancing at the man, Dr.Shamal looked very unconcerned. Running his fingers through his hair, “don’t you remember? I don’t treat men.”
Gokudera did seem to remember that about Dr.Shamal. That was one of the reasons why there had to be multiple doctors on staff at the castle. It was convenient to have multiple doctors on shift to ensure that someone could be on call at any hour of the day, but it was troublesome to vet that many doctors and ensure their loyalty.
Dr.Shamal was a talented doctor who not only could treat his patients, but could also fend for himself. A genius in his own right, it would be stupid to not hire him as staff- but the obvious caveat was that he only treated women.
That damn womanizer was bound to start troubles somewhere down the line with all the women he saw. He was also one reason why Gokudera felt strongly about not turning out the way Dr.Shamal did, despite them both being geniuses.
He’s not going to turn into some womanizing gigolo! He’s a product of adultery, and he wouldn’t allow himself to follow in his father’s footsteps in such a way.
‘Che, maybe he was hired to begin with. Like attracts like, and it takes one adulterer to hire another one.’
“Is he even alive anyways? If he’s not breathing, doesn’t have a heartbeat, or have dilated pupils, he’s dead.”
Seeing as the doctor wasn’t going to make the diagnosis himself, the teens had to move to check. His pupils were dilated, he wasn’t breathing, and… nope! No heartbeat.
He’s dead!
“Guess he passed on during our conversation. I don’t deal with the dead, so I’m leaving. Bye.” Dr.Shamal left with a casual goodbye. He acted as if he’d done anything of note, but he didn’t.
Back to square one of panicking! “Surely, we can create an alibi? Should someone else take the fall?” Haru was trying to think of the best plan of action and Gokudera takes the gun from Tsuna’s hands.
“If it’s just taking Juudaime’s place, then I can do that.” Tsuna didn’t deserve to go to jail. She was too gentle and frail to survive in such an environment, but it wouldn’t be an issue for him.
What he didn’t expect was for the other three teens to stop him. What kind of stupid plan was that? Tsuna wasn’t going to forsake her friend and have him go to jail in her stead!
What an idiot.
“Calm down, I called for someone else. He’s useful for a situation like this.”
Hibari appears in the windowsill, “Yo.” He jumped up from the street, using the gate as leverage.
The three Namimori students were surprised by his presence, but Haru had no idea who this guy was. Was he someone important? Maybe he’s someone scary? The guys shrunk back slightly when they saw him, so maybe he was the king of the miscreants?
“I didn’t come to play with you guys today. I came to make the baby owe me a favor, sort of like a transactional deal.”
“We’ve been waiting for you, Hibari.”
Hibari scanned the room before his eyes finally happened upon the dead body. With his foot, he rolls the corpse over to get a better look at the ‘damage’. He was testing to see just how ‘fresh’ the body was. It hadn’t gained a deathly pallor yet, nor was rigor mortis settling in. A fresh corpse, recently deceased.
From the looks of the gunshot wound, it was just one shot through to the heart. In truth, he did know about the situation from Reborn beforehand. Even without him divulging the details, he would’ve understood the truth.
It was the instincts of the strong that could ‘see’ through the falsities. These weak herbivore puppies still had a long way to go. He scoffs underneath his breath. “Good job,” half-hearted compliments, “you got the heart in one shot.”
Playing along with the charades was enough to make the arcobaleno owe him a favor. He could ask for a proper fight or something else more fun. It would be a waste to make use of his favor right away, so he would patiently wait for now. With all the interesting things happening around Sawada, it would be prudent to wait before cashing in his favor.
It was best to let everything marinate to savor the most optimal indulgencies.
“Okay, I can dispose of this corpse for you.” Hibari sent a quick look Reborn’s way.
The shock weighed heavy on everyone in the room. Just how can this guy talk about hiding a dead body so easily as if it were nothing? What was his background?
‘Tsu-chan knows so many shady individuals!’
“Perfect, he’ll get rid of the corpse so it can never be found. This way, it’ll be like the murder never happening. Appreciated, Hibari.” Reborn thanked the disciplinary officer, a sign that he would be accepting the aid in return of a favor granted by his truly.
Owing a favor to anyone wasn’t his style, but for the sake of his student, this was something he could accept.
Hibari walked over to the windowsill to jump down, “I’ll send someone over from the disciplinary committee later to get the job done.”
What kind of thing is he using a school disciplinary committee for!?
Haru felt her knees go weak at the idea of Tsuna’s new friends. One was a punk, the other was a well-intended idiot, and now there’s a grim reaper of a guy? Woe is her friend! She’s surrounded by troublesome weirdos!
Gokudera was also the sort who repaid his debts, and the memory of Hibari wiping the floor with him and Yamamoto before just pissed him off. Dynamites ignited, he ran to the window, “I can’t be at peace until I take revenge! Die!”
Haru hadn’t seen Gokudera use his dynamites before, so she assumed what he had in his hands were stage props. However, when Hibari slapped the dynamites back with a flick of his tonfa and they exploded in mid-air, Haru had to reevaluate her opinion on Gokudera.
The guy is a dangerous menace!
The dynamites set off in the room, causing a huge mess. Haru stayed close to Tsuna, so she checked on her first, making sure that she was okay. Two arms, two legs, and a head resting on a pair of shoulders. Good!
“It’s already fall, and you’re still carrying around fireworks?” Yamamoto sits up and sighs at the damage caused to Tsuna’s room.
“They’re not fireworks, you dunce!”
Sometimes, Haru wondered if Gokudera fought more with her or if he fought more with Yamamoto. It was amazing how Gokudera hasn’t died from heightened blood pressure yet with how angry he always was.
“Hahi! The body, it’s gone!”
““WHAT!?””
From the corner of the room came a new voice, “Haah, I really thought I was going to die for real there. That was a close one.”
“Kyaa! Zombie! Tsu-chan, we gotta get away.” Haru clung onto her childhood friend in clear panic. The girl had a tendency to cling onto things when she was frightened, and Tsuna was the closest one to her.
Unperturbed by Haru’s dramatic antics, “It’s nice to meet you, 10th.” The walking corpse introduces himself as he coughs up blood, causing Haru to scream some more from the shock.
Reborn hopped over to Haru and jumped onto her shoulder to gently pat her cheek to calm her down, “Calm down, Haru. This is Moretti, a professional in being assassinated. He mastered the ‘addio’ technique, where he can stop his heart at will and achieve a state of apparent death. He’s one of the specialists in the Vongola.” Reborn explains.
Ah… so he wasn’t dead for real, it was an act.
Then the blood had to be fake. Haru drops to the ground, losing all the energy in her body after the adrenaline rush started to fade. How tiring… was this how Tsuna was living out her daily life? How exhausting…
The guys were laughing it up with this Moretti guy, but were they not going to address how chaotic everything was? Surely the neighbors were going to call in a complaint about all the noise. What about all the damage to Tsuna’s room?
Hm? Speaking of damage…
“Hahi! Haru’s Yakatabuneeeeee! NOoooooooooooo!” She’s going to have to make the costume all over again!

❗ [Ch.22 I REFUSE to allow for them to forget about Tsuna’s birthday for the ‘comedic effect’. If Haru is childhood friends, she’s going to remember and change that. HMPH!]
“How exciting! It’s almost Reborn-chan’s birthday? Of course, Haru would love to help with the preparations for it!” Haru is enthusiastic about the invite to join in the celebrations of Reborn’s birthday.
Haru thought it was odd that Tsu-chan wasn’t the one informing her about the surprise, but then she realized that with how close their birthdays were to each other, this had to be a joint birthday celebration!
With how busy Haru was on the daily, her schedule was always very hectic, and the same could be said for Yamamoto as well, who was busy with club activities and training. They sometimes crossed paths by mere coincidence, when she got out of tutoring and him out of practice.
That was likely the reason why he brought it up to her, being the first one to come across her.
Looking from side to side, she ensures that Tsuna isn’t nearby for the rest of this conversation. “Ne, Haru is just asking out of curiosity, but why are all the plans Reborn-chan related? Shouldn’t you also plan around Tsu-chan as well? What about her interests?” Seemed pretty unfair to cater the entire joint-party around Reborn.
She could understand how some parents would tell the older children to make concessions for the younger siblings, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of feeling neglected and ignored on their special day.
The look of confusion on Yamamot’s face made Haru squint her eyes skeptically. Surely even Tsuna’s mother wouldn’t have forgotten her own daughter’s birthday…? She must have brought it up at least once?
‘Maybe she’s just been so busy with caring for all the kids that it slipped her mind?’
Understanding of how busy Nana could be, maybe that was the reasoning behind it… but it still didn’t sit right with her. “Tsu-chan’s birthday is the day after Reborn-chan’s birthday. Planning two consecutive parties is a lot of effort, so it would make sense to celebrate them together, right?”
Haru Miura is not one to forget important dates, and Tsu-chan’s birthday was one she always remembered every single year. If they couldn’t find the time to celebrate together in person, Haru always made sure to send a small package with a gift to the Sawada household, so it wasn’t like she’d suddenly forget for this year.
“Ah, is it?” Yamamoto laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head. He had no idea that it was also her birthday so soon. They’d only been planning the party for Reborn, but they could probably make some changes to the plan to account for Tsuna’s birthday celebrations as well.
Then again, he remembered something. Gokudera had occasionally gone out window shopping, trying to find a gift, but the shops he’d look into didn’t seem to be something that was to Reborn’s tastes. Knowing Gokudera, it made sense that he’d know about her birthday- but he should share the bountiful harvest of knowledge!
‘He probably wanted to hog the knowledge to prove how loyal and dedicated he is.’ The guy had some selfish tendencies that would only make some sense when you knew that Gokudera was a lone wolf for so much of his life.
Back to the topic, no one would want to feel left out or forgotten, so plans were going to have to change. Without Haru saying something, Tsuna would’ve felt disappointed or hurt by them forgetting about her birthday as well.
“That’s the great thing about childhood friends, huh? You’ll make sure to have Tsuna’s back. Let’s think of some ideas to propose to the others to incorporate Tsuna as well to the plans.”
“Hahi! Haru would love that! Ah- but is Gokudera-san going to be attending the planning sessions as well…?” Haru asks quietly.
Yamamoto chuckles, noticing how easily Haru showed her emotions on her face. It was clear that she didn’t get along with him and was hoping that the answer to the question would be ‘no’.
Then again, with how often they bicker whenever they’re in the same room, it was understandable that she didn’t like him very much. “Yeah, he’s going to be there too. He’s pretty excited about it, I think.” Yamamoto could tell that Gokudera had a bit more energy and interest in the plans than he normally would in regards to something he didn’t care for, so it was safe to say that he was excited.
Haru’s nose scrunches at the news, but, she knew that Gokudera was a person that Tsuna cared for. He was one of Tsuna’s first friends at Namimori, so Haru will relent on the ‘anti-yankee’ feelings of hers.
.
[A tiny time skip because I can. I don’t feel like writing out the entire planning process lol The time skip is of the actual party itself. Also, a vague reference to ‘Bomb Bambino’ is included.]
.
The party was going smoothly and Haru was so happy to see that both birthday people were enjoying the day. Reborn was being celebrated as was Tsu-chan! She was glad that she said something to Yamamoto so they could remedy the fact that they almost threw a surprise party for just Reborn and not Tsuna.
As it turned out, Nana was worried that Tsuna wouldn’t want a surprise party thrown for her because she could be pretty shy about things. It was perhaps more accurate to say that because she didn’t have many friends to begin with over the years, it may end up being more hurtful than anything- but after the behest of everyone, she agreed to also celebrate Tsuna at the same time as Reborn.
She already had plans to celebrate as a family in case Tsuna would rather a more private affair, but with how adamant all the young teens were, she felt that it was safe to trust in these kids to make her daughter’s birthday a special one- and a special one it was!
Reborn had such an interesting idea for party games! It was something about ranking gifts? Reborn had said something to the effect of, “Tsuna, you won’t be able to objectively rank the gifts/performances so sit out this year. You’ll only give everyone a ranking of 100 points.”
The party was certainly a lively event with lots of delicious food, laughter, and the occasional threats. Reborn and Tsuna both got presents or fun performances to enjoy, and Nana could rest easy seeing just how happy her daughter was. All of Tsuna’s new friends were good kids, and she was happy to see Tsuna enjoying life more with her new friends by her side.
Haru wasn’t a new friend, but she came back into Tsuna’s life once she got used to her new school. Nana went back into the kitchen to cook up some more food in her excitement. Bianchi had gone into the kitchen to aid her.
The only thing that could be considered weird about the party was the fact that Haru couldn’t stop looking at Gokudera with squinted eyes throughout the duration of the party. When it was his turn to give Tsuna a gift or a performance, he’d requested that he give her the gift later.
Suspicious.
When Gokudera left the room after Bianchi, Haru followed him out into the hallway to confront him. Slamming her hand against the wall, “what’s up with you, Gokudera-san? You were fine with doing a performance trick with your dynamites for Reborn-chan, but for Tsu-chan, you tell her to wait?” That had to be a bit embarrassing for her, wasn’t it? What, discriminating against her friend?
You think she won’t smack you for that? She will! Still, Haru is a fair person and she’ll at least wait for an answer- Hahi? Why was he a bit red? Why are his green eyes darting around nervously?
“Yeah, he’s going to be there too. He’s pretty excited about it, I think.”
‘Could it be?’
“Are you… being shy?” What was so different between Reborn-chan and Tsu-chan? What was there to be shy about? Was the difference… in the way that he felt between the two individuals? Maybe there was something special about Tsuna?
‘Does he like her? WELL HE’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!’
Really, no one was going to be good enough for her gentle friend, especially not some yankee punk!
Gokudera felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise when Haru hit the nail on the head. Yeah, he was nervous! It wasn’t like he hadn’t attended birthday parties when he was a young master of a mafia famiglia when he was younger, but it was the first time he’d attended a party of someone that he liked and admired.
The lone wolf had finally found a place to call home and it meant so much to him, but he didn’t know how to actually convey it properly. He knew that sometimes he was a bit much with how intense he could be and it troubled Tsuna, but he couldn’t help it! Tsuna was the person who saved his life and the sole boss that he’d ever risk his life for!
He was really excited about the party, but when the time came for it, he suddenly grew really awkward and shy. It was the first time he’d been invited to a party to celebrate someone… someone that he actually cared for. He had a thought in his mind: ‘Do I even deserve to be here? Am I even good enough to be here? What if… by my being here I cause more trouble for the boss?’
Of course, he was still overjoyed to celebrate Tsuna’s birth anniversary, even if he didn’t particularly like to celebrate his own… because it doubled as the anniversary of his mother’s death. He had some mixed feelings about birthdays.
When Haru confronted him, he felt irritated that she somehow got it right so quickly. “S-shut it! I’m not feeling shy or nothin’! I-I’ll just give my gift later! It’s special!” Gokudera couldn’t prepare anything fancy or expensive, because he was struggling financially on his end.
He lived on his own, and he worked part-time to pay for his rent and other stuff. The gift he picked out wasn’t anything grand or anything, but he did spend a lot of time carefully picking something out and he hoped she’d like it.
Haru squints her eyes skeptically, stepping in closer into his personal bubble to stare into his eyes. “Haru won’t comment on whether the gift is special,” Yamamoto did say something about how Gokudera seemed excited about the party… so he probably put some thought into the gift.
“That Gokudera fellow, he’s come all the way from Italy to meet Tsuna, the rumored heir to the Vongola name. He’s always been a lone-wolf, even if he was under the watchful eye of the Vongola, though he wasn’t a part of it.” “Hahi? Gokudera-san wasn’t a part of the Vongola to begin with?” Haru almost expected that he was born into the Vongola with how avid he was about supporting Tsuna to becoming the best Vongola boss she could be. “No, he was around, so he could be watched after he made a big mistake that Nono fixed for him.” If not for Nono acting fast after Gokudera’s confession, they managed to prevent the bombs from going off at the concert hall that would’ve killed everyone inside, including Carlo the performing pianist… and his young son Niccolo. “Why are you telling Haru this, Reborn-chan?” It was weird that Reborn would be telling her anything about Gokudera, knowing how often the two butted heads. “Just letting you know that he’s got a past. He’s been on his own since he was 8, so it’s not easy for him to relate to the rest of you. Cut him a bit of slack.” “Haru can try…”
“Are you nervous because you aren’t sure if Tsu-chan will like your gift? Tsu-chan would appreciate and treasure anything you got her.” Haru had all the faith in her friend that she would care for the thought that went into the gift than any monetary value.
Just knowing that a friend gifted her something made it worth its weight in gold to her.
“I don’t need to explain myself to you, you stupid woman!” Gokudera growls, and for once, Haru didn’t launch her own attack instantly. Instead, she only squinted her eyes even further, her eyebrows furrowing into the center of her forehead.
She didn’t hang out around the Namimori students that much, but she had noticed something in the times that she had- Gokudera cared about Tsuna more than anything, and he really didn’t know how to socialize with others in a meaningful way. Piecing together that he’d been on his own since he was 8… what socialization did he really have when he was probably trying to fend for his own life?
Being under the watchful eye of those that he didn’t view as friend or ally… he could only grow up being on edge. No wonder he was such a prickly cactus! There was probably something deep down where he did worry if Tsuna would like his gift or not… but the biggest thing that bothered him was probably…
“Haru has known Tsu-chan since we were really young kids. If you give her your gift, telling her happy birthday with a small smile, that’ll make her happy. It doesn’t have to be exuberant or anything. Sometimes, simple is best.”
Whether he would appreciate her words or not, it didn’t really matter to Haru, but she hoped that it could help him a little bit.
Before he could say something, “Hayato, stop causing such a ruckus on a good day.”
“Gah! A-Aniki!” Gokudera doubles over, holding his stomach in pain.
“Hahi! Gokudera-san is down!”
The gift would have to be given to Tsuna later, after the party was over. The poor guy was out like a light for a few hours. He had found one of those alarms that girls use when creeps are around and gifted it to Tsuna after he customized it a little bit.
It’s moments like this that it sinks in that he really was a genius to be able to tinker with the device to make some small changes. The moment he heard the customized alarm, he’d come running. It was his way of showing his devotion to his boss and also his consideration.
She may not think too much about her safety now because of how safe Japan was in general, but with the other heirs dying such deaths, he couldn’t take any chances with Tsuna’s safety.

[References Volume 5, chapter 2 of the Secret bullet novel series. ‘Gokudera’s Worst Day Ever’. Sadly, I don’t have a translated ver of the whole thing to reference, so I will vaguely reference a synopsis ver as inspo. I obviously had to reference this for—reasons...]
Whatever happened, a whole lot of them were sent to the hospital and of course, that meant Haru came to visit to check in on everyone. Did it mean that everyone was happy to see her? Nope, there was even someone who was pretending to be completely fine- when he’s not!
Haru had gone to visit Tsuna who had been transferred to a different ward because she was so worried about Gokudera’s injuries. His attempt to act like nothing was wrong seemingly had the opposite effect- who knew!
A bit vexed, Haru played a small prank on Gokudera, something that she does when her trolling acts up. He needs to learn a small lesson for being a naughty guy who doesn’t properly take a proper rest!
She told him that he was cursed, and that if he didn’t do something about it, Tsu-chan could end up harmed because of it. To undo the curse, he would have to receive a straw doll from Lambo.
It was supposed to be a simple prank. She honestly didn’t think he’d take it seriously, but she also didn’t know how superstitious Italians could be, so he ran off to fuss with Lambo about retrieving the doll from him.
One thing led to another and somehow there was a giant Kaijuu in the hospital that caused great damage! Haru rushed over to see that Gokudera and Hibari were fighting when the rubble came down because of the giant Kaijuu-like creature. She watched as the two were buried underneath the rubble and she felt her heart stop for a moment.
This was her fault.
Hibari pulls himself from the rubble unharmed, but there was no sign of Gokudera. She hastily tries to find him in the rubble, and when she did, he was severely hurt- but alive. She had to confess to him that the thing about the curse was a complete lie.
“Haru’s sorry! The curse thing was just a lie! Haru thought that it would make you get along better with Lambo-chan!”
“Why tell me now that this is a lie? Don’t worry about me, this is none of your bu-”
“What are you talking about!?” Haru snaps at him, brown eyes glaring into his surprised greens. “IF Gokudera-san is hurt, Tsu-chan would be further saddened! She’d be worried! Haru has to tell the truth now to prevent you from further hurt!”
Gokudera averts his eyes and clicks his tongue. Of course, she only cares because of the 10th. Haru didn’t actually care for him, but cared for how her childhood friend would feel.
“… Haru would be upset too.”
“Huh?” Gokudera was surprised, and unsure if he was even hearing things right. Why would she be upset?
“You may say mean things to Haru all the time and you bully her… but… despite you being the way you are… Haru still sees you as her friend.”
She starts looking around at all the damage around them. She would’ve liked to tell him to go back to his ward… but… where was it in all this damage? Was his ward even left intact? Probably not. “Hah… how did all this happen? How are you going to recover now?”
“So annoying.” He mutters quietly.
“Hahi?”
“Not ‘Hahi’ – it’s annoying! Don’t say weird shit like that, stupid woman!” Gokudera blurted out impulsively. He never really had anyone who truly worried about him without strings like this before. Family was different, as was a boss that he was willing to risk his life for.
This Haru girl was someone that he didn’t really have a solid relationship with, and yet she still cared for his well-being. It left a weird prickly feeling in his chest.
“HAHI! What was that? Haru was being nice-”
“You’re so annoying, stupid woman. You stupid woman!!” The flustered teen didn’t know what else to say in this moment after finding himself incredibly flustered.
“HAHI! Why’d you say it twice!?” Haru was getting annoyed, puffing out her cheeks in annoyance. It was just like a hamster and that just frustrated him all the more.
“I’ll say it as many times as I want. STUPID WOMAN STUPID WOMAN STUPID WOMAN STUPID WOMAN”
How childish!
Haru gnashes her teeth, “Gokudera-san… you… you… YOU’RE THE MOST ANNOYING ONE HERE!”
A nurse pushes through the rubble to see the two teens fighting. “I’ve found someone over here! He looks injured! Get the stretcher! Miss, please move aside so we can relocate the patient.”
Haru clicks her tongue and steps aside, glaring him down the entire time. The two teens were locked in a heavy glaring battle but once they were out of eyesight from each other… Haru drops to her knees and sighs heavily.
It was truly a miracle that he was okay. If he had the energy to bicker with her, he was going to be okay. She was feeling relieved, but the young teen boy was feeling confused and flustered.
What kind of stupid woman is she anyways? What an idiot!
Caring for someone like him? PFFT! What a useless thing, right? He wasn’t worth anyone’s care.
Idiot.

[Original content, but set in the Daily Life arc]
Gokudera had finished his shift at the convenience store that he worked at. What a drag, working until this late, but what can he do? He had to make an honest living somehow. He didn’t have anyone who could sponsor him- not that he would want that.
He wanted to live on his own terms and not owe anyone anything.
“Hahi!”
Ugh, it’s that annoying girl again. Gokudera rolls his eyes and he turns around to take the long way back to his apartment. He didn’t feel like dealing with the girl right after he’d finished a work shift.
“Ow! Let go of me!”
It didn’t even take one second before he’d already turned around once more and made a dash towards where he heard Haru’s annoying voice.
Ever the hit first, yell next, and ask questions later- he ran up and kicked someone’s face in. “Let the stupid woman go.” His boss would be very disappointed in him if he ever let Haru get hurt if he could’ve prevented it.
As much as the girl annoyed the SHIT out of him, he did appreciate the girl’s guts. She wasn’t deterred by the fact that Tsuna was a mafia-boss-to-be and remained steadfast friends with her childhood friend. She would always support Tsuna in whatever she was doing, and she was a source of comfort for Tsuna as well. He wasn’t blind to not be able to see that.
He didn’t see Haru as being one of ‘them’ yet, but he wouldn’t let a girl he knew be bullied, not on his turf! When the guy let Haru go, Gokudera pulled her in behind him. “I dunno what your deal is, but you’d better leave things here while you still have all your teeth.”
“The fuck!? What did I tell you? He’s just a regular useless punk who only knows violence!” One of the guys ran over to check up on his friend that was knocked out unconscious with Gokudera’s kick.
Yeah, that’s true, so what of it? Gokudera cracked his knuckles, ready to give the guys a thorough lesson that they won’t forget. What he didn’t expect was for a certain girl to chime in from behind him.
“Hahi! You said it again! How rude!”
He knew that Haru had a temper, how could he not when they verbally fought all the time? He didn’t know that Haru could have a violent bone in her body, considering she never had the urge to strangle the shit out of Lambo when he was being annoying.
The brat has a way of bringing the ‘I wanna strangle something’ out of someone.
Haru walked up to the one who spoke and landed an open-faced slap against his cheek. Gokudera noticed that another of the guys sported a matching palm print on his cheek as well. Context clues helped him deduce that some guys were speaking the truth about Gokudera and pissed Haru off for some reason?
That didn’t make sense. Why get mad about something that’s true?
“Gokudera-san isn’t a useless person! He has a temper, he’s incredibly rude, he’s allergic to being nice to people,” “Hey! Are you done talking shit about me stupid woman!?” “YOU SHUT UP, IDIOT!” Even Gokudera had to shrink back at her yelling at him like that.
Sure, they had screaming matches, but he’d never seen her this angry before. “Gokudera-san is smart, and he is loyal. He is protective and caring in his own way, but it’s hard to see because he’s such a tsundere! He is a grouch, but he follows (most) rules! He’s better than you guys who graffiti the walls and litter!”
“You done talking, bitch? I’m gonna avenge Hiroki!” One of the other guys sporting Haru’s handprint of JUSTICE makes a lunge at her and if not for Gokudera pulling her back, she would’ve stood her ground. She meant what she said and she wasn’t going to back down for any reason. If he wants to hit her, she’s definitely not going down without a fight! She can bite! She has nails that can scratch you up something fierce!
Haru stumbled backwards from Gokudera pulling on her arm towards him. He wasn’t one to let a woman fight his battles for him, nor was he one to allow a woman to get hurt in a battle, even if she did start it herself. (What a fucking stupid woman, right?)
“Stop! What are you kids doing this late at night!” A police officer arrives and the boys scatter, grabbing their unconscious friend and running off. Only Haru and Gokudera were left behind, and anyone could see that this punk-looking guy grabbed a law-abiding school girl. “Young man, I’ll be needing you to come with me for questioning.”
Gokudera being used to questioned for simply existing didn’t even put up a fuss about following the officer. He’d found out that rebelling was far more energy-expensive than cooperating.
“Ah, hello officer-san. My friend here was only helping me from the other boys who were being mean to be earlier.” Haru stands in between the officer and Gokudera, pushing him back with her hand. “Haru understands that he looks a certain way, but he’s really a nice guy, please believe Haru. He’s still acclimating to living in Japan after having lived abroad for so long.”
Would a girl from Midori, an elite all girl’s school really go out of her way to vet some random punk?
“Hey, you should greet the hardworking officer-san properly.” Haru quietly reprimands Gokudera, who nods his head in greeting reluctantly, following her prompting.
Seeing the way he was compliantly listening to her directives, it did seem there may be some truth to her words. Despite how he looked, he probably wasn’t that bad of a kid. If he came from abroad, that may explain his rude demeanor and his sense of style. “Well, be careful next time. It’s getting late, so you kids should go home.”
“Thank you very much, officer-san! We’ll be on our way promptly! Have a pleasant night, sir.” Haru bids a pleasant farewell to the officer and sighs in relief.
“Care to explain, stupid woman?”
“Haru isn’t stupid. Shouldn’t you at least be grateful that Haru got you out of a visit to the police station?”
Gokudera only rolls his eyes in response. Even if they wanted to, they wouldn’t persecute him for anything. Even if they tried to, there would be ways to get out of it.
“They were saying rude things about you, and they said that they’d blame the graffiti work on you. Haru couldn’t stand it, so she said something about it… with her hand.” She shakes her hand a few times before showing him how red it was. She put all her weight into those slaps, you know?
“You should’ve just let them, it doesn’t matter to me what they say or think about me. Building up street cred works for me.” Gokudera scoffs, finding her actions to be such a waste. The more notorious his name was, the less likely anyone was to bother him. The more notoriety he had, the better his name could keep his boss safe. “It’s not worth getting into trouble with punks like that over me.”
Haru put both of her hands on Gokudera’s face to pull him closer so they could be at eye level.
She was annoyed, but not because he didn’t appreciate her efforts. “No. Haru won’t tolerate anyone talking badly about her friends. You may be a rude punk, but you’re not a bad person.” She lets go of his face and puts her hands on her hips, “it isn’t like Haru really thought about it before acting. She was so mad about what they said about you. If Haru gets hurt defending her friends, so be it. She won’t regret it.”
Gokudera flicks her forehead, “idiot. My honor doesn’t mean shit if you have to get hurt over it. Next time, just snap a picture of their faces and I’ll deal with it myself.”
Haru rubs her forehead, grumbling underneath her breath. How dare he flick her forehead? Hmph!
Puffing out her cheeks, she turns away and walks off.
“Oi! Where is your answer, stupid woman!”
“HARU CAN’T HEAARRR YOOUUUUUU, LAA LAAA LAAAAAA~”
“Oi!”

Kidnapped
Natsu x F!Reader
SOME PARTS ARE NSFW
Your a gravity dragon slayer
Established imprintation so you and Natsu can tell where eachother are within a limited space like a towns width and talk through telepathy.
Established relationship nine years
Another dragon slayer kidnaps you and tries to mate with you when Natsu bursts in.
Just a short drabble <3
During The Grand Magic Games
~
After your combat turn and right as Natsu finished off Rogue and Sting. You happily jumped off the crowds side wall where Fairy Tail was to the ground then jumped into the gaint hole that Sting and Rogue made. Nearing the ground you use your Gravity wings to gently fall into Natsus arms. He let's you down as he says
"Did you see (n)! I beat both of them!" He smiles excitedly.
"I'm so proud of you Tsu-kun! But where did Gajeel go?" You say pondering.
"Oh that guy? He ran off or something!" Natsu smiled wide and threw a shoulder over you.
"Gravity wings" you say as you and Natsu grow wings of gravity and fall upwards and out of the hole. Most of the crowd has left for the day but some point and wonder about you.
~
At The Tavern
~
"Cheers!" You, Natsu, Wendy, Grey, and Erza yell then drink their chosen drinks. After more than a couple of drinks. You went back to the bar.
"Excuse me (N/L) could I interview you outside please?" A man in full green armor and a mask with a note pad asked you.
"Okay that sounds fun!" You say and walk to you friends and mates table.
"I'm gonna be doing an interview outside be back soon" you say to everyone.
'Be safe (n)' Natsu thinks to you.
'I will be, Tsu-kun' you think back. Everyone else says okay or nods. You open the door and let the man pass through the door, your imprint showing, and close the door.
"Let's sit on those barrels over there if you dont mind" masked man says and you nod. Walking over passed Natsu and the teams window to sit on some barrels. He begins to ask questions.
"So how are you enjoying the games?" You give your answer but he doesn't write it down.
"And your mated to who again his last name escapes me?" Masked man asks.
"Natsu Dragneel the pink haired one we passed on the way out" you say as he still doesnt write anything down.
"I was only able to watch your fight and not Natsus due to interviews"
"Um arnt you supposed to be writi-" suddenly the masked man lunged forward surprising you so much you stayed still as he casts a spell on you. Suddenly your paralyzed and sleepy.
"What did you do t-" you manage to say. A slimmer of awakeness you could tell he picked you up bridal style and suddenly dissapeared and reappeared further into the city as you black out but get one word in
'Natsu...' you think hoping he could still hear you.
~
An unknown location
~
As you wake you hear muffled words. Then you come too quicker since your metabolism gets rid of ailments quicker than most people. As you try to sit up you suddenly realise your on top of a ancient table with vines holding you down.
"Oh so your awake allready you are quite special and rare, with you by my side we will be unstoppable!" He yells as you notice his words veriberate off cave walls.
'Natsu!!' You yell in your mind.
"Natsu!! You yell outloud.
"Dont bother trying to contact him he wont come, I bet hes barely even noticed your gone. You bite your lip trying not to cry.
"No your wrong he WILL come for me just you wait." You yell at the masked man.
"What's even your name?" You ponder.
"Since will be mates my name is Snake and you my pretty dragon slayer will be mine soon forever" Snake laughs menacingly.
"I made this paralyzing spell even stronger for you so you'll be a doll now and wont struggle" Snake says casting it as you grow stiff. He raises the vines close to him so your back is to the caves entrance and your virtical.
'Where are my panties?! He took them what is h- oh no not that anything but this!' You yell in your head. Snake pulls up your dress with one hand showing your cooch and one hand on your imprint.
"No please anything but my imprint!" Your sobbing now as Snake puts his member to your entrance and he starts removing my imprint.
'Natsu!!' Sobbing in your mind your mates name.
"Natsu!!" You yelled with the only part of your body you could move.
"Taking my imprint will kill me!" You spat at Snake.
"I have found the ancient scrolls dictating everything to do with mateing. You will be mine soon enough." As he finished saying. Before he stuck his member in, it's just touching your entrance when a extremely loud boom happened. As some of the cave fell apart out of the way.
"I heard you (n) I'm here!" That familiar voice rang.
'Hes trying to remove my imprint and do the ritual at the same time help!!' You yell to Natsu through thoughts.
'He uses earth magic I'm not sure if hes just a wizard or a dragon slayer' you tell Natsu
'One more thing those crystals on his armor control different ailments hes paralyzed me I cant move be very careful' you say to Natsu through telepathy. Snake let's go of you and sheaths his member in front of Natsu letting Natsu know what he was trying to do to you.
"You will pay dearly for all of this! Now I've really got a fire in my belly" Natsu roars as you cant see what's going on due to you being turned facing a wall. You notice now blood coming from your wrists with thorns grazed deep into them.
"Fire dragon roar!" Natsu yells as you see Snake back up behind the alter so you can see him. Snake raises the vines then turns you so your facing Natsu. Snake grabs your chin and cheeks and kisses you deeply with tounge as you moan to stop. Looking at Natsu boiling.
'Dont look please I cant help it. I love you!' You think as Natsu wines up a fire iron fist punch dashes across the room and squarely punches Snake in the jaw. He then uses fire iron dragon fist in a barrage. After that Snake gets up and laughs.
"You cant defeat me not when my armor has enchanted jewels in it, one drains your magic and converts it to mine. Another one paralyzes you and the last one makes you go to sleep." Snake says snarkly as he forces his vines up through the entire floor trying to snap up Natsu as Natsu burns away the vines dodging all of Snakes attacks.
"You will never lay another finger on her!"Natsu yells as he charges a
"Fire dragon roar!!" Natsu was close enough to Snake to fire it off. All the vines burnt to a crisp. You fall to the floor. Snake tries to conjure more vines.
"I never want to see your face again if I do I swear I'll kill you!"Natsu yells at Snake. Natsu grabs him by the collar and punches the top jewel to pieces then the middle and then the last one to smithereens. You just lay there paralyzed watching Natsu go to town on this guy. Natsu using barrage fire again until Snake is KOED and his armor is crumbled. Natsu turns to you a sobbing mess, though still paralyzed. He walks up to you lifting you up bridal style.
"Shh.. your safe now (n)" your mate says as he strokes your (Lenth) (Color) hair. As he walks back to the tavern he says.
"Its okay it's not your fault love" as you just sob and sob until your cant anymore.
~
Once at the tavern
~
"Wendy I need your help!" Natsu yells as the group turns to you and Natsu seeing your bloody wrists and ankles.
"For sure coming!" Wendy and Carla follows to the inn as you go into your groups shared room Natsu lays you down.
"Shes paralyzed and has wounds" he says as Wendy casts
"Cure ailments" you can suddenly feel the pain as Natsu does too.
"Shes in pain" he says as Wendy starts healing your wrists first. Once healed she heals your ankles. Now that you can properly talk
"Thank you Wendy and Natsu I knew youd come for me" you say blushing which makes Natsu blush too.
"You should bath (n) your all bloody and it will feel nice" Carla says as you nod.
"Thank you Wendy and Carla" you say as they leave the room giving you and Natsu privacy.
"Please come to the mixed bath with me?" You question Natsu.
"Of course my mate but first flip over" he says as you obey. He gathers magic into his hand and presses down on your back imprinting on you what's been taken from you. After awhile Natsu says
"There back to normal that guy really took a lot"
"Here hold my hand let's go to the baths" Natsu says sweetly.
~
At The Mixed Baths
~
You both clean off first, then head inside the mixed bath part. To both your surprise it was empty because of the games. You take your towels off get in and place the towels on the side of the pool. Sinking just so your heads are visible. You hug Natsu from behind and give kisses on his back. Your breasts pressed up against his back feeling him blush and feel love. He turns around and embraces you in a firm snug hug your breasts pressed up against him.
"I love you (n)" he says into your ear which makes you shiver.
"I love you Natsu" you whisper into his ear making him shiver. You look into eachothers eyes and kiss passionately him swirling his tounge around as your tounge explores his. This feeling is bliss. Breaking for air you both hug eachother close.

Favorite Scent (Flufftober Drabble, KHR)
Fandom: Katekyo Hitman Reborn Ship: 27K (Sawada Tsunayoshi x Sasagawa Kyoko) Word Count: 1,023 Prompt: Favorite Scent Event Host: @flufftober
-- Her focus left her the moment the scent came to her consciousness.
Momentarily stopping by the perfume, a warm smile rose to her features as she got caught up, reminiscing. "Tsu-kun," she started, "Do you remember when we got this?"
Several tryouts, many failed attempts and dozens of scoldings from his tutor drilled into him the proper way of putting on a suit. The Tenth had been occupied with his own preparation, clumsily but surely dressing himself for the occasion as the lady grabbed his attention - alarming the young man briefly before he heaved out a laughing sigh. "Ahh, that…" She looked like she was elated to remember.
"What brought this up?"
… …
The boy must have pinched himself about nine times so far. How couldn't he? Reality just didn't align with his self-perception. After all, here he was, walking side by side with the girl of his dreams!
"Ahh! Tsuna-kun, look!" The girl excitedly alerted, unconsciously picking her pace up towards the stand; "They're giving out samples! Let's try some!" Clearly, one of them was far more immersed in the immediate moment than the other.
To see her so happy, excitedly checking stores out like an enthusiastic child, Tsuna couldn't help but mentally tear up. "Yes, l-let's!" A thought crossed his mind. Kyoko-chan was already looking supefyingly good in her chosen attire for this date, but for her to enjoy herself this much was just precious.
…If only they were truly alone.
In this large mall, it was easy for Tsuna to single Kyoko out from the crowd, going as far as the extremely bold hand-holding attempt, shying away every time before their hands actually touched. Daring as he was today, he could even single the girl out from the numerous people in the crowd with them. What he couldn't ignore, was Lambo and I-Pin, chaotically running by them and right under their legs in their unconcerned game of tag.
Why did Mom think it was a good idea to have them join, today of all days!?
The stand was placed right outside a relatively unpacked cosmetics store; an obvious move to promote sales, even going as far as spraying some perfumes to the air in-front, drawing in a few potential customers - Kyoko among them.
"Tsuna-kun, which one do you like?" The girl asked, bending slightly forward towards the stand as she tucked a loose hair strand behind her right ear, with the boy in tow and quick to reply with a silly smile. "I don't know…"
How can he know? His favorite scent was her shampoo, which she just flared in his face with that simple hair movement. But saying that would be too embarrassing! In the spur of the moment, he mindlessly moved a hand towards one of the pinkish-colored samples; "T-This one, I guess…"
-- "Oh! Really??" Her reaction was too gleeful for a simple choice. Was that a hit?? "I really like this one too!" It was!!
Spraying some of the sample on her left wrist, she quickly took the boy's hand in as well-- "Here, Tsuna-kun, you try it too." Everything was so fast. Kyoko had her sneakily quick pace about her when she was excited, that much he learned when she went on her Appreciation Days. But to so casually grab his own hand? When he was struggling with that all morning!? -- Solid blush rose to the boy's face as soon as his hand was grasped, and with an awkward whiff to his wrist, he looked away; embarrassment and happiness oozing out of every corner on his face.
"O-Oh… It's… It's good, Kyoko-chan…"
Ever the air-head, caught up in her own stride -- it took Kyoko a short moment to realize why Tsuna reacted so timidly at the act; only acknowledging she grabbed his hand in her's after he reacted. Heat rising to her own cheeks, reddening her face all the way to her ears as right away, her mood shifted. Showcasing her own embarrassment, the girl looked down, her frame appearing smaller as she enclosed her body language unconsciously; hands held together at her skirt level.
"S-Sorry!…" She apologized - "I got a little, t-too excited…" Kyoko was an honest girl. Straight-forward and unassuming, and it reflected both in her values and manner of speech. In fact, she may have made conscious effort to make that a point. "It's just, strawberry vanilla isn't very common… But it happens that I really like this scent too…"
Damn it. Tsuna's thoughts failed to process anything more than how cute this girl was. Damn it!
In their awkward embarrassment, the clerk failed to draw their attention. They were there for sampling, weren't they…? Fortunately (or unfortunately) for the worker, the two toddlers having away their time just so happened to crash into the makeshift table, causing a ruckus as they always did - alarming both Kyoko and Tsuna far too late, as they knocked the entire stand over, spilling the contents of the samples all over themselves.
"Ahh! Lambo, I-Pin!!" "You kids…."
If there was anyone to count on to break the moment, it was those two. Snapped out of their mutual embarrassment, Tsuna and Kyoko gave each other some well-warranted, awkward laughter. "I'd feel bad getting nothing after that…" Tsuna admitted.
"I know, right…?" Seems like they were on the same page. "--Excuse me!" A single bottle of the perfume was promptly purchased as a result…
… …
"…We still have the original bottle?" Tsuna humorously asked, remembering that time.
"A lot's happened. Now it's just Tsu-kun and me," Kyoko laughed to herself, coming closer to her beloved.
For Kyoko, it was a keepsake more than anything. Vanilla-strawberry wasn't a popular scent for a perfume, especially nowadays. It was associated with childishness, desires of a young girl yet fully fledged. But at the same time, it was special for her. A small reminder of a certain date with a certain man she loved. Of course, she only wore it for very, very specific occasions. Its tendency waning over time.
And yet,
"You think we should get a new one on the way?" She asked.
He couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah. Let's stop before dinner!"

Prompt + emotional distance between Tsuna and his father (for Iemitsu)
Send 'Prompt' + a muse and i'll write a drabble based on what was sent.- accepting!
He'd not been home in a while so this was understandable. Let her be mad if she wanted to, Iemitsu was only doing what was best for his family and protecting them as best as he could. He'd never in all his years known his daughter to be cold, but he understood why. Leave it to an absentee father to not know his daughter's favorite food or color, was it orange? Had to be right? She was a Sky flame after all. Idiot logic. Hardhat on, he carried in his pick, casually pretending to be returning from the mines. They didn't need to know he'd been in Italy all month cleaning up the remains of a criminal organization. "Tsu-chan! Daddy's home!" He called cheerfully and hoped a fight wouldn't start. She could give him the cold shoulder all she wanted. Because he already knew damn well it was his fault.

||Praise among the smoke||
Hello dears, I'm here with a request for a friend of mine. So, lets see what this drabble contains hmm?
||Drabble summary||
Lets say Tsubasa was having a night out for himself after a rough week. Seeing how others were having fun but he was sad drinking something to clear his mind. However, his night changes when someone comes over to help him out? Who could this man be? Read to find out.

Tsubasa connor belongs to my Rp partner and amazing friend @within-the-resort
Yukichi Fukuzawa belongs and is from the anime/manga Stray dogs but also me due to rping as him as a muse.
((Note: Their will be grammar mistakes and errors in this drabble as others have this warning. But like I state before, this is written for fun. So I hope you like it and my friend too. Enjoy))
"What. A. Night. Ughhh, you can leave the wine bottle." A sad and alone Tsubasa Conner was alone this night, seeing he had a rough week. Though, he did expect that due to how many either were jerks or some just being assholes.
He just wanted a good week, just one and it never happens for him. Now he hates it. He sighs to drink his whole glass of wine with one gulp, setting it down again to sigh. He wasn't drink yet but he would be soon the more bottles he takes in.
As he was drinking more, he didn't know a pair of eyes on him. Seems someone caught his eye that made Tsubasa not notice yet. He seems to be alone though, many don't do much during this time. So why not bring some fun for him. The other walks over but was by him.
"Excuse me? You alright?" A person speaks to him as Tsubasa blinks to sigh. Great, another one. He didn't look at him while looking to the wine glass.
"I'm fine. But could you please leave me alone? I'm not really in the mood to be bothered by others tonight. Had a rough week." he said but the other sighed to look at him.
"Hmmm, I see. That's too bad. I was hoping that you would like to have something that might help brighten your mood?" he heard Tsu sigh but was annoyed to look at the guy.
"Again, not interested." he said now annoyed but the guy didn't budge. He keeps trying to flirt with him but Tsubasa looks away not interested. Why do guys do this? He's not interested and he won't be for that type!
"Ohhh come on babe. I just wanna.." as he tries to touch Tsu, another hand grabs his wrist to stop him. This made the other blink but Tsu looks too. Both saw a older male there but he looked annoyed while looking to the stranger.
"I believe this man said to leave him be. I suggest you move alone." he said.
"And who are you?" he asked.
"..The owner of the club. So again, leave him be or I'll kick you out." he said as warning but the other got nervous to nod, moving away quickly. Tsu blinks to see this but the man turns to look at him.
"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" he asked but Tsubasa shook his head slowly feeling his cheeks heat up. This guy was the owner of this place!? Well, he was always curious so this helps.
"I..I'm fine. Thank you." he said but the man smiled.
"It's fine. By the way, names Yukichi Fukuzawa. Your name?" he asked.
"T..Tsubasa Conner......." he said flushed to look away as Fukuzawa smiled, finding that cute.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr. Conner. Here, would you like to come with me? I think I can offer you VIP since you seem to had a bad night." He didn't want any one else to bother him and he did seem to have a bad day. Blinking at this, Tsu was shocked.
"W..wait really? OH, you don't have to do that! I..I'm not.." he said but Fuku takes his hand gently that Tsu blushes worse.
"Nonsense..come along..I would love to see if I can give you a more....enjoyable evening since you had a bad week. You look like you need one." he said with a smile but Tsubasa slowly nods, about to take the wine bottle. "And I have more where we are going. please follow me." he begins leader Tsubasa away but through the crowed of people.
Tsubasa couldn't believe this but he's been silent walking till they get to a nice fancy location in the club. A sign showing 'VIP members only' over it. He keeps following him and gets to one of the rooms. It was nice and felt really comfy. He couldn't believe he was getting VIP tonight.
The two kept walking before getting into a bigger room as Tsu walks in seeing the room. It looked pretty but he was not expecting this. However, he heard the door close behind him but heard Fukuzawa close the door and walks over.
"This is beautiful. I...I'm shocked you are wanting to give me VIP or have me here. I...." he was trying to speak but felt hands on his shoulders to smile.
"i did say I was hoping to give you a more enjoyable night. So...please, I'm sure their is something I can do." he squeezed Tsu's shoulders feeling him shudder but he blushed worse to shake his head.
"N..No no it's fine. This is enough for me. I..I thank you but.." as he was trying to speak, Fukuzawa suddenly pins him against the wall, hearing a yelp from the other.
"!?" His eyes were wide to look at the older male but his face burns looking right into the club owner's eyes. They looked hungry yet lustful. "I...."
"Sorry cutie but...I think I rather like you a lot more now. Well, since you first came into my club you always get the best wine we have but....even seeing a sad look on your face upsets me thinking someone made you like that. Someone so precious and cute..you look really cute.." he mutters to see Tsu shaking still flushed since a older male was having him pinned.
"Y..You.....wait, really?"
"Yes. I don't usually find others to my liking..but you...ohhh you are just the cutest little thing. Seeing how many times you come here. Though, also wishing to show that you deserve to be mine and treated more better." He smiled that he presses up against Tsubasa who tense feeling this.
His aqua blue eyes widen but he couldn't move since the owner trapped him. "B..but why me? I'm not....I'm not like others.." he said looking to the side hiding his face of low self confidence. "I know others find me ugly looking because of my healed scars and body physic I.." he continues to speak but the owner wouldn't have that.
"That's not true. Who dares say such a thing? You are beautiful to me and still is. I rather love to leave kisses on every inch of you. Touch you and caress you.....and claim you as my own lover. Whoever says such things will be taken care of." He held Tsu's cheek to turn his head back to face him.
"Besides, you are beautiful and so sexy looking. I wanna be sure to show that and give you a wild night." He leans in close that Tsubasa was shaking again feeling aroused. His heart was beating like crazy from all this.
"Though..you are so cute. So soft..I would love to eat you up while I make love to you softly.."He squeezes his ass hearing Tsu yelp. "And roughly. Or biting every inch of you to mark that skin a proper way. I'll let everyone know you are mine.....and my precious little pet."
He sees Tsu blushing hard but he was shaking now before feeling a kiss to his forehead. "I could give you fancy cute little things to wear for me. Something that shows you off to me. Something soft that shows your cuteness.....would that be nice?" he teased that Tsu was speechless now before he was shaking to whimper.
That did sound nice and yet, he saw him trap the now flushed Tsubasa Conner there in this room. "I...M..Mr. Yukichi-"
"Please, call me Fukuzawa. Because you'll be screaming it in a few minutes." he said now tilting his head up to look at him, giving a light kiss to his lips. "Now Tsubasa.." He sees him dazed under his touch before giving a smile.
"Lets start this night in a proper way because after this: You'll be mine."

The alternative methods were to either wait for Tsunayoshi to visit Japan herself, to send something through the postal system for Tsunayoshi.
Neither option seemed to pique Haru Miura’s attention this time around as she normally dared to think the unthinkable- use Hibari Kyouya as a courier service.
Though the majority of the Vongola were based in Italy, Hibari was the one Guardian whose location always varied based off what had caught his attention.
Just like the free-floating clouds in the sky, the man often drifts around the globe investigating odd phenomenon or possible enemies to bite to death. When he wasn’t investigating a topic of interest, the Cloudian was often based in Japan.
You could take the man out of Namimori, but you cannot take Namimori out of the man.
At the end of the day, it worked out in the sense that it would be comforting to know that should anything happen in Namimori, a powerful Cloudian would be nearby to bite the perpetrators to death in a prompt manner.
Of course, this meant that sometimes Haru would contact him and ask ‘when is the next time you’ll be going to Italy? Oh? Do you mind doing Haru a favor…?’
That’s how he found himself reorganizing his schedule on the unspoken (but implicitly understood) behest of the brunette woman.
“Haru Miura sends her regards along with this gift.” The aloof man sets down a box of cookies along with a letter in front of the mafia boss. “If you’ve something to send back to her in the next coming days, that can be arranged through me. I will be in Italy for a few days before returning to Namimori.” Seeing as he’s already being used as a courier service, he may as well be the return service as well.
It was the least he could do for the woman who had the tireless job of looking after children who incessantly crowd around visitors.
Inside of the box Hibari brought were Mochi match chocolate cookies. They were shelf-stable cookies. Haru added cocoa powder to the batter to add some chocolate to the treat. It’s not a proper Valentine’s day gift without chocolate.
The letter reads:
[Dear Tsu-chan,
Did the Hibari Kyouya express deliver the cookies to you safely? Haru asked him very nicely for a favor and he was kind enough to say yes. When I told him it was for Valentine’s day, he reorganized his schedule to coincide with the day.
Hopefully the change in schedule didn’t come as a big inconvenience for you. If it was, that was my fault, so please don’t hold that against him for listening to my whims.
The important part is the cookies! Mochi cookies are delicious and are relatively shelf-stable. Matcha is a taste of Japan, and I added cocoa powder to the mix, you know, for Valentine’s day. The cookies would travel well and will keep for a while, that’s why I supplied a lot of cookies in the box for you to enjoy.
Everyone here is doing well, so you don’t have to worry much. All the kids are fairing well. I do miss you a lot, but we’re both doing big and great things! I feel I don’t say it enough that I’m proud of you and that I’m happy that you’re out there doing amazing things.
Don’t forget to get rest and to take good care of yourself! If Haru finds out you’re not taking good care of yourself, she’ll give you a call and scold you~
Your friend who misses you dearly,
Haru Miura]

I've had this treasure in my inbox for 8 months now, maybe it's out of date, but I'm posting it because I appreciate your effort and creativity, @queenharumiura. ♥
