I just want to randomly drop my dominic newlow hc there
Tumblr media Tumblr media
my hc is that Dominic's parents were religious religion is present in TSM, and they were Jacobans whose religion is based on the fact that the Watcher is vengeful and merciless and thus must be feared and appeased by submitting to a strict moral code, lest It decide to punish them in ts2 psp Ophelia lives in an abandoned meetinghouse and I think that's where little Dominic could go pray with his mother therefore, Dominic was ALWAYS afraid of the watcher, but it was shortly before ts2psp that he realized that he was being controlled

Hi Esotheria, as suggested by Goat, I wonder if you can help me finding antique knickknack deco to put on bookshelves of my Elder Sims? :)
Hello, friend of Goat! ^^ You opened quite the Pandora box with this ask, lemme tell you! xD There’s just SO MUCH good clutter to be found all across the web; listing each individual piece would take me months! So in that name, I’ll be mostly listing general sites and blogs where I download my clutter from, with only the occasional recommendation for specific pieces of cc. I trust that you’ll do the ‘hard’ but enjoyable job of browsing through those recommended sites. ;)
- First and foremost: Garden of Shadows. Obvious one, I know, but I can’t stress enough just how many terabytes of cc gems the forum contains! From the Antiques and Oddities section to Monthly themes, events, and gift exchanges, GoS is the go-to resource if you want weird and wonderful cc, clutter included. Even if you think you’ve browsed it all and know everything the forum has to offer, revisiting some classics (e.g. Advent 2012) with fresh eyes might put you in the way of awesome clutter that you missed the first time around!
Tumblr media
- Another obvious one: The PlumbBob Keep. Like GoS, it’s a HUGE forum with tons of hidden treasures, so definitely worth taking a look at. These fine porcelain plates, for example, look like something an elderly sim with a refined taste would display on their shelf! The forum also has a Conversions sections that’s worth checking out, because...
Tumblr media
- ...conversions from other games like Bioshock, Skyrim, TSM, Dragon Age, etc. are a great way to get your hands on unique clutter! Some of my go-to object converters include Yolartut, Delonariel, Veranka, Hafiseazale, Amovitam, Mistyfluff, and Kativip. The last is an individual creator, but also the name of a whole forum that shares super-cool conversions, among many other things. I understand that most of the preview pics on Kativip’s site are sadly busted these days, but don’t let it discourage you! The site is absolutely worth digging through, even blindly.
- If you want clutter that’s shabby chic, old-timey but still contemporary in essence, SimPearls is a good place to look. The forum requires registration to be able to download from, but a number of resident SimPearls creators (e.g. Kim, Amythestfenix, Deatherella, Betsy4arts) also have personal blogs that you can check out!
- An oldie but goldie, Parsimonious features tons of great stuff that holds up incredibly well despite its age. Their creations are sorted in sets by room rather than by type of object, but there’s clean previews for each included piece, so browsing around should be a breeze!
- A more recent(ish) creator, MrsReval has many, many droolworthy object conversions. How about this cool pipe for your elders’ shelves, or these fancy figurines?
Tumblr media
- Pocci/Gardenbreeze is a somewhat forgotten creator with a limited, if nice selection of quality cc. Their Roses Mini Set is a personal fave I can’t seem to play without, and then there’s also these sunflowers in a vase and these dainty deco birds that I’m submitting for your consideration.
Tumblr media
- Speaking of forgotten creators: make sure to not miss out on HolySimoly, Adele, Om/Avalon, and Ogulama: all dead sites that have been archived courtesy of Liquid Sims. (*Protip: if you ever run across a creator who has disappeared and/or deleted their stuff, @sims2packrat likely has backups!)
Tumblr media
- Riekus13‘s Tumblr is an absolute must for top-tier cc recolors! I don’t think there’s a cc object in existence that Riekus hasn’t recolored at some point, so their download archive doubles as a cc catalogue in its own right!
- Moxxa is a retired creator who shared many gorgeous converted object sets back in the day. Note that her cc style is mostly modern/contemporary, but maybe you can still find something nice for your elders’ shelves. How about this decorative model plane, for example?
- Someone else you might wanna check out is Beautifulnerdkitty. Like Moxxa, their cc is predominantly modern, but it’s so gorgeous and well done that it’d be a shame not to mention them!
- Pixelry is another member of the ‘gorgeous hq cc that’s not strictly antique but absolutely worth the effort‘ gang. Their original Tumblr got deleted and the link I’ve given only contains a small fraction of all the stuff they’ve shard over the years, so make sure to also check out their Old CC archive and SFS backup folder. (*Note: The Archive is on SimPearls so might require registration).
- Finally, a useful tip: sometimes, the best way to find good clutter is to rip it straight outta the games of other people via lot downloads! ;) I can’t even begin to tell you just how many unique pieces I’ve gotten just by plucking JodelieJodelie’s furnished lots; and you can do the same with any creator whose style you like!
I feel like there’s a ton of creators I’m forgetting to mention, but I believe there’s enough material here to keep you busy for a while. ;) Have fun downloading! ^^

Home
It struck me so hard especially in these last few days what home is to me. Well, to be exact, what and where home is. To put into context, from last Sunday evening to today, I've stayed in a campus accommodation called The Hub which is in the Royal Holloway uni complex. The first time I arrived here, I was so surprised by the non-existence of people. Turns out it is now out-of-term time and plus, because of covid-19, despite the lifted restriction on July 19th, people don't have any reason to be around. Well, it's a pretty similar situation we'd find back in ITB when it's out of term. However, there's always students' social thingy in ITB back then (pelatihan oskm lah, osjur, persiapan wisuda etc2), so it's not a zombie apocalypse situation, unlike here.
It's not that I don't like quietness (I'm very much into a calm and serene situation rather than a busy one), but this is just too much. Being alone in a new place (?). Not only that, the HEAT. The summer heat is crazy and I only got a not-so-bad fan actually, but still, I believe my room back in Headington would feel so much cooler than this room now I'm staying. I miss being close to Tesco/Sainsbury's/Waitrose just to buy snacks and drinks (anaknya suka banget jajan). These whole 4 days I can't wait to go back to Headington, which now I pretty much called home.
The only things I love from being here are the forest and the pond (the other day I even saw a small deer? Googled it, it's called Muntjacs), and the fact that I got to buy Iced Caramel Macchiato so easily. And of course, the hospitality of Alex and James. AH! And also the isotope lab with a 17C degree AC on full blast. Well, now that I listed what I like here, it's not so bad though.... (the power of journaling).
Ah yes, back to the title post. Home. So, what's home to you? What's home to me? Can't believe what I'm going to say, but after not being in Headington for so long, I now can confidently say that 9 Woodlands Close is definitely my home. Heck, I've lived there for 10 months, how can I not call that place my home? It's definitely a comfortable space for me. It's a place where I feel safe doing anything I want without having to worry about a thing. I have spent my 27 years living and sleeping in >50? different beds and rooms, but I don't know why this one I'm sleeping in right now just feels so... wrong? Let's blame it on the heat, then.
Iya!
Ada yang rumah betul-betul rumah di hati (basically place where we're growing up), in this case for me berarti adalah rumah kemuning.
Ada rumah yang di level nggak sedalem rumah tempat kita tumbuh, tapi we usually can't wait just to go back to that place when we're away for too long.
Tapi ini juga yang bikin bingung, I mean, I'm not typically very picky in terms of sleeping place dan yaudah adaptasi aja, makanya kalau sampai ga betah dan pingin pulang tu sesuatu banget berarti.
To be honest, settling down as in beli rumah terus tinggal selamanya di tempat itu sampai sekarang belum menjadi opsi hidup yang kubayangkan di masa depan. Melbourne looks like a pretty great place gara-gara kemarin habis nonton tripnya 2PM back then in 2016 itu.

It is safe to say that you are a craftsman hoping to submit/advance music? Or on the other hand maybe you are a music fan? We've incorporated a definitive rundown of the best non mainstream online journals of 2021!
Tumblr media
1. Santa Clause Rosa Records
Santa Clause Rosa records is a Texas-based non mainstream name, distributing organization, recording studio, and keeper of dark music from around the globe and across all sorts.
The choice of music in this blog is remarkable. Each post is compact and forthright. There is additionally a part devoted to interviews investigating craftsman's innovative approaches in more detail.
In case you are a craftsman and have something you figure Santa Rosa Records would burrow, shoot it their way.
2. Different Small Flames
Make yourself some espresso and appreciate perusing this blog comprised of meetings, surveys, reviews, mixtapes and … books! The decision of including writing is presumably because of the way that one of the editors (Jon) is likewise an author and PhD up-and-comer.
Different Small Flames is devoted to sharing the music from autonomous craftsmen, particularly home accounts and DIY names, so send them your tunes!
3. Chances with Wolves
"Chances with Wolves is anything but a public broadcast, it's a perspective."
Chances with Wolves is your definitive mixtape supplier. Get on SoundCloud and follow them – you will love it.
The site counts 388 mixtapes scenes and has a store where you can purchase marked shirts just as tape mixtapes.
Each mixtape is around 2 hours in length and most tracks on them are crazy and, as a portion of the Soundcloud clients notice – "dope."
4. Dark Sound
What's more independent than dark music, correct? Dark Sound is tied in with turning up going to be-hits. The blog's been around beginning around 2006, when then, at that point PopMatters-author Mike Mineo chose to strike out all alone to cover arising music.
In case that is no joke craftsman, this is a decent site to submit to. Surveys are short, sweet, and direct, and there are a lot of good playlists that you'll probably get added to in the event that you get endorsed.
Additionally, Mike simply has great taste.
5. Independent isn't a Genre
Independent isn't a classification covers news, surveys, live occasions, new collection suggestions and meetings. Look down at the lower part of the website page and you will discover that non mainstream is truly not a class, with various segments committed to pop, rock, electronica, artist lyricist, post troublemaker, hallucinogenic and punk.
The site began in Germany in the late spring of 2011 and before long developed into a global venture. It won the main 50 elective music blog grant!
Send them your music by utilizing the about/contact page.
6. Non mainstream Central Music
Alex, Adam, George and Stephen will assist you with uncovering new music consistently with their UK-based non mainstream music blog. The site additionally incorporates a radio and independent focal music TV. As one of the editors clarifies in the early on YouTube video: in case you are perhaps the greatest enthusiast of the littlest groups, you need to prefer independent focal music.
Need to figure out how to get canvassed in sites like these? I set up a free little course to help.
Hello, it's Jon here (TSM originator). This course is called How to Get Covered in Music Blogs (pretty direct, I know). The material depends on four years running a music blog and three years of involvement doing independent PR. It covers how to compose an EPK, how to discover websites to get shrouded in, how to compose a successful pitch, and more stuff that will assist you with really getting covered (and try not to send your music into the dark opening of the web to be lost for eternity).
Pursue free – simply enter your information beneath and how about we do this. Here's to getting your music covered!
Name
Email Address

Assuming you need to present your music to this blog, you ought to do as such utilizing Fluence or SubmitHub. Because of the way that the group gets in excess of 300 entries each day, they don't acknowledge email entries any longer.
8. Atwood Magazine
Atwood Magazine has a conspicuous enthusiasm for music. From their with regards to page:
"We are celebrators of imagination. Atwood Magazine is a free music diary committed to giving valid composition, drawing in, keen articles, and special viewpoints on music."
They "mean to exhibit inconceivable creation, yet additionally the accounts behind them."
With highlights on best in class autonomous demonstrations getting position adjacent to industry stars, Atwood is an extraordinary stage to get your independent music heard.
9. The Owl Mag
"Owls are nighttime and savvy, similar to our perusers" – clarification from the blog proprietors on the decision for giving the name to the venture.
With its various gifts, for example, ticket giveaways, The Owl Mag is the music fan's pleasure. Albeit these gifts and the live shows audits are San Francisco-based, the blog will permit you to find new music from everywhere the world.

Like Cougar Microbes, Earmilk utilizes the SubmitHub stage for its music entries. So craftsmen, what are you sitting tight for? Send your music their way!
11. Non mainstream Shuffle
Non mainstream Shuffle is of the conviction that people are greater at picking great melodies than robots. We absolutely concur (basically until the machines dominate). The site's refreshed a ton, and it's more solid centered than music-centered. That implies insignificant reviews, however huge loads of tunes, so there are huge loads of opportunities to get included.
Strangely, the author proceeded to make SubmitHub, which – ace tip – is one more incredible spot to submit music to.
12. The Girl at the Rock Shows
The Girl at the Rock Shows (named by means of the Blink-182 track, clearly) is centered around what you may anticipate: show audits, and generally live performance surveys.
As she puts it, "I would prefer not to simply expound on the music, I need to expound on the group, the mosh pits (or need there of), the style… I need to expound on all that the standard music bloggers won't expound on." If that is not independent, I don't have the foggiest idea what is.
The blog additionally covers collections, as well – more in the previous year than any other time, since, you know, Covid. In this way, on the off chance that you have a full-length rock collection dropping or a live show you need covered, it merits an accommodation.
13. GorillavsBear
At number thirteen we have GorillavsBear, a Texas-based music blog with a name that quickly made them picture a lovely epic standoff. Notwithstanding music, the site involves a visual assortment of the group's number one specialists. Look at the GorillavsBear Polaroids in the New York Times.
On account of this blog, I found what 'Present day Yacht Rock' is. Proceed to google it. Or then again better proceed to pay attention to the mixtapes.
14. The Line of Best Fit
The cool thing about The Line of Best fit is that they're centered around non mainstream music disclosure – and they do it effectively. From their with regards to page: "For over 10 years we've been one of the world's most confided in voices for music disclosure, read by a great many fans each month, looking for their new most loved band. " If you can't judge by the spelling, that's right, they're situated in the UK. Be that as it may, they cover around the world.
15. Alfitude
Alfie, organizer of the all around named Alfitude, has been checking on new music starting around 2010. That is an outright age in the independent music blog game, where meaningful venture distributions rush to grow dim.
The consistency has procured Alfitude an after from the absolute biggest and most compelling record and distributing names all throughout the planet, including Republic Records, Atlantic, Columbia, and no doubt basically any individual who's anybody. In case you're hoping to get your music before significant tastemakers, this is a decent spot to pitch it.

Fiesta MMBC Signup: Your Bachelorette, Rules, Etc.
Welcome to what will be the 5th MMBC of mine! This is a silly little MMBC that started after wanting to make a gijinka of my old Ford Fiesta that bit the dust almost two years ago. The Blue family is based off of the two Escapes I’ve had since. That said, contestants will need to be gijinkas of cars. More on that in the rules.
Sally’s Info
General: YA, Berry, Cis Woman, she/her, Bisexual Traits: Dramatic, Clumsy, Eco-Friendly, Ambitious, Friendly LTW: Leader of the Free World (hey, this is TS3 not TSM, I’m making do with what I’ve got) Favorites: Pop (how’d that make the cut?), Hamburger, Gray Zodiac: Scorpio
The Rules of this MMBC
This challenge is restricted to berry/colorful sims based on cars. You read that right. Pick a car and make a sim based off of it! Make your own, pick one you like, what have you.
That said, any social standing can apply, so the challenge is not limited to royalty or nobility.
Any gender can apply!
No occults, however.
Do not use the Unlucky or Loser traits per the MMBC rules.
Additional House Rule: Do not use the Ins*ne/Unconventional, Unstable/Panicky, or any of the “shit” traits. AKA, “EAxis tried and failed to accurately represent mental illness” traits.
I have all EPs and SPs installed for this MMBC!
Store content can be used, but that’s your judgement call. I do have the Palace of Versailles set, and I think I’ll be picking up these TSM conversions for the challenge.
Limit CC use. It’s your call, but try not to be excessive. A good rule of thumb is hair/makeup and everyday clothes.
We do not have to be mutuals for you to apply!
If you’ve participated in any of my MMBCs or signed up for Maple, you can still apply!
The most important part: Being okay with your sim dying or being the murderer. This is a murder mystery after all.
Our Contestants
I will open this MMBC with seven slots, and they will be first come first served, so send an ask or IM ASAP! If the demand is there, I will allow up to three additional slots to bring us to 10. PLEASE PROVIDE A BIO! This is the best way to get a feel how to write your character. I think I’m going to omit an interview this time around, so I would appreciate if you included any additional tips on how to write your character!
Since it bears repeating: MESSAGE ME OR SEND AN ASK FOR A SLOT! They go quick!
@socialjusticesimblr | Robin Kocsis
@autistichatkid | Stan Taurus
@berriesandbrownsugar | Montgomery MacQueen
@toxoplasmajuice | [Contestant]
@tosimornottosim | Ethelreda FitzBug
@sneakymeteos | Chevre Sonic [No post; .sim file submitted via IM]
@hollywood3015 | Cheyenne Bee-Koffi [No post; .sim file submitted via IM]
Deadline
Have your sims in by the 1st of May, which is about a month from now. The latest I’ll take sims is the 4th of May. If you need more time, or can no longer participate, please let me know! I’m hoping to make this a quick summer thing before work starts, or at the very least a summer thing before school starts again in August.

If your head gasket had blown causing coolant to mix with the oil, the oil would have been a white milky color. It hard to tell from the picture but that white marking on the cam gear could be from factory (Hard to tell without seeing it in person). So the engine wouldn turn over? How did the cylinders and pistons look?. I called Sephora and they offered to send me a new box so that's cool, but I'm still disappointed. I've been more and more dissatisfied with my subscription lately since everything is just a repeat of past boxes and this just made me even more upset. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten that caudalie sorbet.. I would not say it layers well under gloss because the original application doesn completely dry, it wipes off and reveals the stain after. So when it in its "stain phase" lip gloss would be okay. It not drying either.uguumicho 17 points submitted 1 year agoI think the hottest ingredients in k beauty right now are squalane/squalene and madecassoside (centella asiatica). Does your doctor really do that? I've told my eye dr that I buy my glasses online. He's really cool and he doesn't try to push it on me to purchase glasses there. I buy my contacts there because it's honestly like $4 more so I pick up one box there (same rx in both eyes) so I have them immediately and then I order refills online and get glasses at zenni. I tend to apply my socket/crease shadows above the socket as well, basically on the bone. Start applying normally in the crease and then open your eyes and look straight ahead. Usually I can see any of the shadow when I open my eyes, so I place it above the crease as well.. Bears, horses, rhinoceroses, ibexes, and even imaginary animals prance, gallop, and stand in awesome majesty before our eyes. Perhaps the most incredible find as we begin our descent is this: Whoever created this incredible beauty was one of us, was human. And this human lived 30,000 to 50,000 years ago!Our find grows even more mysterious if we take into account the work of innumerable anthropologists who tell us that it was exactly at this time when the human creature as we know him and her today emerged from the night of evolutionary chance into the dazzling light of the beauty seen now before us. "Mitchell was touched: "When I sat there and I looked at those 무안출장마사지 kids, and they did that, I was so proud. I almost started crying, " he recalls. "But I said, 'No, hold on, Mitchell.' But no matter how tough you think you are, in the final analysis, when you come to situations like that, to be accepted, to be honored by your peers, " he says, "you get a wonderful sense of 'Yes. What also hard is that prior to FH going NC I was already NC with FMIL. I only talk to her at most once a year when she would visit (and we not doing that anymore) but her influence on him was so palpable. She gives him so much anxiety. I was asked to post my routine so here it is! Sorry if it seems vague, I don really do much, most products I make myself and I feel low manipulation works for my hair. Tbh I thought my hair grew slow/average so thanks for the compliments and feel free to ask me anything. Sorry if this is long!. __ The fabric clearly wasn stitched together straight. And then my candle is only 2/3 full with wax drippings on the inside edges. AND my sleep mask has a small black mark on it. They just keep bringing in new players around Bjerg and keep praying. I used to love watching Bjerg but now it so boring watching him struggle and fail all the time, he doesn even seem nearly as good as he was before but I partly attribute that to the fact that other teams are just so far ahead of the curve with practice and coaching. TSM doesn take it seriously at all anymore it seems and they just don look like a professional team anymore.1 player: Finn/Jenny have the adaptable advantage and lockpicks/streetwise can easily compete with higher edu.

GitHub: Xmrig
About GitHub
GitHub, Inc. is a provider of Internet hosting for software development and version control using Git. It offers the distributed version control and source code management (SCM) functionality of Git, plus its own features. It provides access control and several collaboration features such as bug tracking, feature requests, task management, continuous integration, and wikis for every project. Headquartered in California, it has been a subsidiary of Microsoft since 2018.
About GitHub xmrig
The xmrig is a Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) digger facilitated in GitHub Platform. The xmrig use superior execution process force of CPU/GPU in addressing a complex numerical methodology while approving blockchain exchanges prior to submitting them into the blockchain space. The xmrig is a publicly released stage, and it upholds various calculations like KawPow, AstroBWT, CryptoNight, and RandomX in its mining cycle and Random X benchmarking. It has delivered executable double documents for major working frameworks like Windows, Mac, FreeBSD, and Linux. The xmrig supports and benchmarks all the CPU/GPU processors fabricated by Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Broadcom, Qualcomm, Motorola, TSM, Texas.
Features of GitHub xmrig
The xmrig basically revolves around mining CPU/GPU in a high-performance computing environment to achieve superior processing in digital currency extraction.
1. CPU Mining
It is a process of harnessing the power of the central processing unit to mine crypto currency from the blockchain ledger. It refers to how a hash is defined, assigned to a block, and integrated into the cryptocurrency world to extract currency at the fastest rate. Satoshi Nakamoto invented it in a normal low-end CPU, and he successfully mined one million bitcoins.
2. GPU Mining
CPU can process tasks at a very high clock speed, but they lack concurrency in crunching data. But GPU can crunch multiple streams of data in parallel mode and render high-resolution videos and images. The clock speed of a CPU may be high, and it may have a large and broad instruction set, but the volume of data handled in a short period of time by GPU due to its parallel processing exceeds CPU by any standards. This is because GPU processes data with the help of thousands of processors at a given time in parallel operations, with each core concentrating on a separate computation.
3. Back End Resources for MiningA. Best CPU in mining:
Intel (Core i9-10900X):Over clocking is possible, but it needs discrete graphics.
AMD (Ryzen threadreaper 3970x):Easy to handle, and it is good in mega-tasking.
Intel (Pentium Gold G-6400):Initial cost and operations cost is cheap but has limited power.
AMD (Ryzen 5 3600):Superior in performance, and it is cheaper as well.
Intel (Celeron G5905):It fits to budget.
B. Best GPU in mining:
NVIDIA (GeForce GTX 1070):It is the best choice for Crypto mining. Cheapest to operate with a hash rate of 30mh/s at a low electricity consumption of 150W/unit. Its initial cost is very high.
AMD (Radeon RX580):The initial cost is the lowest and fits into the budget. Its hash rate is 29mh/s, but it consumes high electricity.
NVIDIA (GeForce GTX 1060): The initial cost is low, and it consumes less power also.
AMD (Radeon RX Vega 86):It is suited in a place where power is cheap. It consumes more power. Ideal for cold climate.
NVIDIA (GeForce GTX 1080 Ti):It has rich features, but the cost is 3 times higher.
C. OpenCL: AMD GPUs is an open-source programming language. It is used to develop programs that can be ported across various devices. Cross-platform, parallel programming capability is its strength.D. CUDA: It facilitates developers to accelerate the speed of application by tapping the parallel processing capability of GPUs.
4. Algorithms SupportedAlgorithms:
RandomX:It is a POW (proof of work) based algorithm put into use in normal CPUs. The name is due to the Random execution technique it follows.
Kawpow:This algorithm is mainly used in Ravencoin bitcoin. However, it is also used in Hliux, Gravium.
Cryptonight:They were used as a proof of work algorithm to validate transactions and enable new tokens mining.
5. Benchmarking
Any machine used for Cryptocurrency mining should be tested for its capability in generating hash for mining currency using different functionalities. The amount of currency it can generate is measured in this benchmarking. In addition, there are models to compare the capability of different graphic cards based on their nature of operations.Hash rate is the number of operations it can perform per second, and this metric is normally used in benchmarking the CPU/GPU processors. In addition, there are software like Cudo Miner, when installed in a machine, do this benchmarking on a continuous basis so that the users will get ensured that the bitcoin they mine is most beneficial.

REGRET, CHANGE, AND THE CHASE FOR CLOUD9
Summer is a period where everything things, and right now what's Cloud9.
The largest storylines entering Summer would be Doublelift's yield to TSM and push against each team to close the substantial gap which Cloud9 created at the Spring. Following is a peek at a couple of things driving these groups and how that intersects with all the new-format Seraphine Probuilds which allows you reverse all of your Spring failures.
SAME OLD DOUBLELIFT
Nowadays, a great deal of people I speak to mention the fantastic mental exhaustion most of us seem to confront. It may make otherwise simple tasks such as folding laundry or going to the supermarket feel like scaling a mountain. That small voice which asks"does anything even matter?" Is, to me, among those unlucky backdrops of summertime. And when Uzi declared his retirement, I felt sorrow for the way his body withered down even though he is just in his 20s. However, I thought of a number of the famous images of himlike the one where he's hunched in front of a TV in tears because he sees the group that just beat him give a winner meeting. I thought of the headlines that followed every collapse. And I thought about this immense mental relief which must have accompanied the physical pain of slipping.
We're quick to discuss the physical aspect of this game and slow or completely prevent it if the psychological aspect comes to perform with. I inquired Doublelift around Uzi and concerning the gap in reception to somebody being physically drained and being emotionally tired, and he states,"You can't really argue with physical exhaustion because there's literally a limit before your body gives out. But if it's mental exhaustion, a lot of people can view it as a copout when you say 'I'm burnt out' or I mentally don't have the gall, drive, or motivation right now. People will just say, 'Suck it up.' It just seems a lot less real because it can be used as a copout for someone who's just not playing well, but I think -- as someone who's obviously experienced it -- very real."
He proceeds,"Someone like Uzi, who I respect a ton, I think he must have experienced both honestly. I don't think it was only purely physical. You can't really be giving it that same level of pure dedication the entire time. There's going to be times where he's mentally exhausted too."
What is going to happen today that Doublelift has returned into TSM is that the largest spotlight will glow. I really don't expect folks to look at him with compassion for shooting his foot off the pedal at the spring -- he's confessed it to be a mistake and apologized for this. It doesn't change what happened, however, so individuals do not need to take the apology. That is fine, also. I really don't anticipate the story to be more forgiving now that he's returned and left to TSM. If anything it is going to be vicious. I really don't anticipate them to be the exact same championship-caliber staff the last time that he had been here, but I do not anticipate that mild to dim once.
I really do believe him when he says that he had been coping with burnout last divide. I really do believe that he did not just suddenly drop off a cliff into a stage where he could no more come back to being the best player in the league, and I believe him if he tells me,"I realized in this transition to TSM, the thing I really want and what makes me really excited is the thought of winning with this roster." I feel that winning fixes all -- if just because people are quick to overlook.
Nonetheless, there's absolutely no delusion like the previous time that he joined TSM he is the victim . With much more championships than hands on a hand, his livelihood can end now and he would be the single most decorated player in the history of this league. I am not requesting compassion for him. He is not either. I am simply considering sorrow and all of the ways it can attest. A group towards a participant's death, or vice versa. An entire profession of missteps or what-if measures. I'm considering how some folks, such as Doublelift, are granted opportunities. A lot of that he got and others he didn't. Some, such as Uzi at this time, aren't. And I think, if they're"fair" or not, Doublelift consistently does something with his or her chances. That is why they keep coming.

TESTIMONIALS
Spring Split's Cloud9 submitted a cumulative 26-2 document, which had been the very best in LCS history. I requested players from each team to provide me their ideas on C9:
"In my mind, there were only three teams that were that far ahead of everyone else. It would be Immortals in 2016 with Huni and Reignover, TSM in 2016 Summer, and then Cloud9 [now]. It's really exciting because there's actually a real challenge -- an attainable goal as an underdog now, and it makes me really motivated to practice." -- Doublelift
"I think Cloud9 during the Spring Split was just on a different level from all the other teams, including us. We just didn't understand the fundamentals as well as they did. They just really understood how they wanted to play the game, and towards the end of the split we struggled with how we wanted to play it." -- Svenskeren
"I think for C9 compared to every other team, they have a proper coaching staff and know how to play as a five man unit. They help each other, whereas other teams have people who don't improve during the split." -- Johnsun
"Everything we do needs to ask --'Is what we're doing great enough to conquer C9?' We have to compare everything we do to if it will matter against C9, because that's the level of competition we need to strive to every day, and if we do that for the entire split, then we have a really good chance to win." -- Solo
"Cloud9 has Top 2 players in every role -- they're all good individually. They're just a team that's willing to sacrifice for each other. They have a really solid team identity where they play around mid/jungle and transition that to bot lane. Licorice is really good at weak side and strong side -- they're just really well-rounded and play well as a team." -- FBI
"I feel like we kind of went blow for blow with them in our last game of the Spring Split, but I'm pretty sure they're a step ahead, even right now. They're all just individually really good and really smart about what they want to do. Their teamwork is really good and they're just hot right now." -- Pobelter
"I think all of C9's players are motivated and have the same end game. When you look at even the Solo Queue rankings, most of them are Top 10 [or at least high]. It's still pretty difficult to hit Rank 1 [especially] and I think Zven has a really good mentality when he plays Solo Queue. He always tries hard and plays to win -- a lot of people, even for me, if something goes bad I sometimes quit in Solo Queue. But I think it's a good mindset to put 100% into winning and think each game matters. You need to have that same mentality for scrims as well." -- Altec
"I definitely felt like C9 was way more dominant than every other team. I don't know if they were more dominant than us when we were winning, but it definitely felt like they were head and shoulders above every other team. Playing against them was a struggle because they played so fast and they were all on the same page -- they had really good coordination when it came to everything." -- Jensen
"From what we've heard from the players, they have a really good system. They have gym everyday, healthy food, and apparently even a book club -- they do all these different wellness things. A good esports system doesn't need to be too complicated -- it just needs to have health, exercise, and a good practice schedule." -- Stunt
"I would prefer if there was someone in the league who could actually [challenge us]. All of these teams are saying they are going to do it or that's what they're looking for, but honestly they're just not good enough. At least not yet. They're pretty much all talk. Hopefully they'll be able to perform better and actually be able to contend against us -- that's what I really want. It'd be good for us to go into Worlds with another team that we can learn from throughout the split." -- Blaber
BE THE CHANGE
"This is actually the first team I've been on in my entire career that has kept the same roster twice in a row, and I've been playing for years," states Stunt. "Just the smallest roster change can throw team synergy out the window -- a good example recently was TL with the introduction of Broxah over Xmithie. I felt like Xmithie kept their playstyle of playing around bottom. They had a clear identity and they were good at what they did, and without Xmithie, they're kind of lost and trying to find themselves again."
He's"For us, the benefit of keeping the same roster is you don't have to start from the basics. With just one new member, that new member has to learn all of your systems from square one, whereas we already have our systems in place for how we like to play the game, and all we have to do is build on it and figure out what the problems are with what we are doing right now. We have a really strong baseline."
I have spent a great deal of time this offseason considering when and how roll changes make sense -- lots of it comes off the heels of, as Stunt said, what occurred to TL. 1 thing I've always thought to be accurate and is endorsed by outcomes is that really great teams -- I am speaking about individuals who triumph Worlds or could/should have won Worlds (hello, ROX lovers ) -- have more or less been dominant from the instant moment they had been shaped. Occasionally they fade and wither away, sure, but they do not begin by fighting.
What we have from the LCS at this time is 1 group in Cloud9 who had been assembled this past year and instantly destroyed the competition from the gate. A good deal of people suggested the LCS was complete weaker from the Spring, however, the league as a whole was not that bad -- that they were all obviously worse than Cloud9. So just how are you supposed to close the gap with no daring change (such as a roster movement ) if C9 is constantly advancing too? Regrettably, there is no actual guarantee a roster change will get the job done. I really don't have stats on this but I guess the likelihood of getting worse are also fairly large, particularly if you were a good team to start with (2nd place FLY who didn't change, as an instance, has far more space below them than previously ).
Not altering a roster allows you build foundational blocks for exactly what a fantastic procedure and routine is -- both for daily rituals such as sleeping and eating (which players have a tendency to fail ) and also for in-game matters such as how much you desire to reevaluate ancient scuttle control or the way you wish to reevaluate counterpick when drafting. There simply is not a definitive answer to whether you should or should not alter a roster. Finally if a roster change was bad or good will come down to the consequences -- that is how we have always guessed them, if that is reasonable or not.
Liquid, by way of instance, was memed fairly difficult for falling if they earned Broxah (then Tactical, then again if Doublelift returned), making you believe that they made the incorrect move. But that is just in a vacuum in which their aim was to win the LCS again. In the larger context of needing to acquire Worlds, possibly they had struck their ceiling Xmithie -- at the point you must create a change regardless of how it ends up. Only by risking becoming worse will you get much better. The needle has changed considerably for Liquid, however, after only 1 split. Doublelift is gone for good, and that's their lengthy perch atop the LCS.
Jensen states,"Being the team that always wins or is expected to win doesn't feel as good. It's hard to stay on top because within NA, it's hard to learn a lot from the practice because even if you lose, you think,'Oh, we are better than those. This was just an off day.' I think a lot of my teammates felt that last split. We were too comfortable with our position. This time around, I can't imagine we'll make the same mistake because we realize we're just like any other team right now. We shouldn't feel ahead of them. We'll start playing more like the underdog and playing with the mindset that we have to learn from any team because we just had a 9th place finish."
All it requires is 1 split to completely alter your strategy. Pobelter, by way of instance, did not have a group at the start of past split and lovers (who formerly clamored for his benching) discovered it to be totally outrageous that he did not have work. He then came in to get a dead-last CLG group and has been showered with possibly more compliments than at any point in his profession. He explained,"I have not felt better than those few scanty little wins we got last split. Those were some great hits of dopamine." That is crazy for me to place those unnecessary wins on precisely the exact same amount as the championships he had won previously, but I do not doubt it for a moment.
Everybody wants to win even when their motives for needing it are likely to disagree, and in sport which means somebody else will lose. It's this simultaneous moment in which you secure your fantasy by denying somebody else, just as climbing to the starting lineup for a single player usually means another player needs to step down. This split will comprise nine teams jumping as large as they can to reach Cloud9, and when I will be honest with you, I really don't think any of them are going to make it.
However, Summer has ever been the split at which you are able to correct all of your Spring wrongs, also this season that's even more conspicuous. Nothing you did at the Spring things in the meaning that the things do not bring about Worlds placements in any way. And yet, still, that which you did things. Or everything you did not do. Nobody could tell Doublelift the Spring Split which saw him depart for TSM did not matter, even though he sang a different song at the beginning of it. Nobody could tell Cloud9 the dominance they embodied and heard does not matter because of their Summer planning. Even though, by creating the Summer yours and yours, you may earn all that irrespective of. There's only this, right today.

We'll start playing more like the underdog and playing with the mindset that we have to learn from any team because we just had a 9th place finish."
All it requires is 1 split to completely alter your strategy. Pobelter, as an instance, didn't have a team at the start of last fans and split (who formerly clamored for his benching) discovered it to be totally outrageous that he did not have work.
Everybody wants to win even when their motives for needing it are likely to disagree, and in sports which means somebody else will lose. It's this simultaneous moment in which you secure your fantasy by denying somebody else, just as climbing to the starting lineup for a single player usually means another player needs to step down. This split will comprise nine teams jumping as large as they can to reach Cloud9, and when I will be honest with you, I do not believe any of them are going to make it.
Even though, by creating the Summer yours and yours, you may earn all that regardless of. There's only this, right today.

hey tams, im void anon. i know verr is gone right now but since ive seen some sick tsm spoilers i have a sweet idea for the continuation of voidbuddies. for now i have a sort of prologue about ravan and im working on a piece about tamara. would you be interested in me submitting the finished bits to you? (and like, when verr comes back tagging her in so she can see too since shes the og recipient n all)
Voidbuddies? I'm really sorry, but could you remind me what that was? Was it the one where Aaron and Verity Torres and for the second one, Call, were all meeting up in basically the purgatory void? ( Sorry, school is killing me,) 😊?? Also, I was only spoiled vaguely on major stuff that I ((((really really really)))) don't want to even think about before I read the book. Soooo..... no on any tsm spoilers, but those fics were incredibly cool, so if it doesn't have TSM spoilers, then totally!!!!! on the fic!! Thanks, pal! 😊
