So like Peace is very easy to make work for Nick - not because of similar reasons, but this bit: “But I'm a fire and I'll keep your brittle heart warm / If your cascade, ocean wave blues come / All these people think love's for show / But I would die for you in secret / The devil's in the details, but you got a friend in me / Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?” works really well because Frances and Nick start as an affair so it’s this whole “die for you in secret” and he’s prone to like INTENSE depression - cascade ocean wave blues - and she’s one of the only people who understands him and like tries to fight for him and thinks he’s perfect. She also thinks about having his child, like at one stage she thinks she’s pregnant and like the idea almost excites her.

Hoax - not purely about Joe - and illicit affairs - not at all - also fit the whole affair narrative right.

And Cardigan is like very Frances x Nick because 1) he keeps coming back to her 2) he does draw stars around her scars like he makes her feel better about a lot of shit and there’s one point where she’s in literal pain in the bathtub like crying and he comes in still in his coat and like sits with her and wraps her in a towel and stuff and like ya it’s very ~soft and Cardigan like.

And then off of Rep, So It Goes, KOMH, CIWYW, Dress and its secret moments in a crowded room and DWOHT all work.

Like you can construct an EXCELLENT mix for Frances and Nick out of the Joe muse TSizzle albums and I would imagine for someone discovering him and like being a veeeery casual fan of hers it’d be 100x sexier because like you could literally think he inspired the songs in the scenario you now picture them in (which isn’t like Swiftwyn, but the songs still fit).

Do you find TSizzle pretty? I was ranking celebs based on beauty with a friend and I said Taylor was overrated imo and my classmate whom I didn't realize was a hardcore swiftie went off.

She's very conventionally attractive. But if I have to rank her in that scale I'd say I find her more cute than beautiful. Idk why but I've seen her plenty of times through different eras and I always just found her cute and conventionally attractive. She does carry herself well though and her height makes her hard to miss.
