In the tsau ship pol a voting option after michi and neji said ‘or whatever is the team gai + Michi congruent triangles’ - could you elaborate on that? I’m really curious about the potential romantic/ intimate dynamics between michi and lee & neji and tenten.

On the surface, they function. Dip a little deeper and they have some conflicting interests 😅

Neji cares about Michi as his partner. He needs her and he wants to ensure that she’s content with life.

Neji has undecided feelings for Tenten, but a deeper connection to her than most.

Neji can’t get rid of Lee. He’s tried, they’re good friends now and he worries for him sometimes.

Very supportive and (unintentionally) goofy

I.e. on their first official date, they both bought each other bouquets and chocolates

Lee is helping Michi with her workout routine. Michi makes his protein goodies.

Lee loves that Michi knows jujitsu and has encouraged her to get into once again. He definitely wants to see her at her best.

Madara was so proud of his daughter having a boyfriend on her husband (like her old man would expect anything less 😌).

Michi took Lee to meet Chiha and she was confused. THIS is Lee? Oh girl but she’d warm up to him over Karaoke

Lee will eat anything Michi makes him, no matter how badly she messed up on it. It makes her happy and encourages her to keep trying

Michi will get to ride on the back of motorcycle for the first time because of Lee

She likes holding onto him and resting her chin on his shoulder when they go for rides

Lee thinks it’s cute how she’ll call just to hear his voice and will leave her voice notes so she can listen to them any time

Michi tries not to stress him out with her concern for his safety but she does ask that he checks in with her so she knows he’s okay when traveling for business and remind Neji to check in with Tenten

But, the backstory;

Neji complimented Lee’s (who just arrived) Cologne which prompted Tenten to be like, no way, Lee? WEARING COLOGNE?? What’s the special occasion.

Lee telling her there isn’t one. The man at the shop he was picking up Neji’s order from insisted he try a cologne too and well, he did. But he can’t remember the name of it.

Which lead to Michi leaning in close and smelling him because growing up with Shisui, Madara, and Obito, made her a bit of an expert on colognes. but this is one she hasn’t smelled before, so she starts trying to determine the notes and Neji joins her because he agrees that it has to be new and wonders who made it. So Tenten is like, might as well join for a sniff.

Now they’re all going on about it while cooking because it smells good, but no one is agreeing on the notes and poor Lee is just very flustered with all the attention/compliments he received. The boy is speechless for a change 🤣

Lee is one of Mugen’s favorite people! As a baby, Mugen would squeal and bounce rapidly with delight in his walker when Lee would come over. Draw Lee in all his school family portraits. Wanting to go in early morning jogs with him and challenging him to push ups when he’s old enough.

So when he finds out about Lee and Michi, he’d be fine with it because it’s Lee.

So now that nejiten made peace with their feelings and found each other what happens between Michi and Lee?

Well Neji would have given Lee permission to fuck his wife awhile ago and almost killed Lee in the process because who just says vulgar things to easily? Also does he just offer up poor Michi to his men wtf

Also Lee wouldn’t believe that Michi has those kinds of feelings for him, but he might be extremely flattered if she did? He’s very confused 💀

Michi literally hasn’t had a crush since Sasuke or been in love before Lee, so she’s not sure what to do or say. Like “I wish I’d met you first, but I don’t regret my son” sounds horrible to her and she genuinely thinks he deserves better.

It also doesn’t help that Neji and Tenten are giving her her own treatment back, asking if she’s confessed yet. Motherhood is hard enough and they want her to try her hand at a love confession to one of the purest souls, she can’t, she’s worried he’ll reject her (rightfully so in her opinion) and she’ll have to let these feelings go.

They’d get somewhere eventually and in a way that would give Tenten and Neji second hand embarrassment 🤣
