The Joy of Life - A very chaotic Winterfest and Briar’s Birthday 🎂

The day of winterfest eve was Briar’s Birthday! She invited all of her friends and Rosemary made sure she got the birthday cake of her dreams (a unicorn cake 🦄).

While Finn and Briar were having fun playing games, listening and dancing to music, eating cake and watching movies - Jasper and Rosemary snuck out to have their own party❤️‍🔥

Peony was having a blast dancing as well! At last, Briar made a wish and our little princess aged up to a teenager!

Next up, after the kids’ friends had left to celebrate winterfest eve with their families, the Boyer family gathered around their decorated tree and sang songs and opened presents 🎁

Unfortunately, no one cared about father winter. He sat in the kitchen staring at the remnants of Briar’s birthday cake day all night 🕯️

Well, let me tell you this was very chaotic I was barely able to get screenshots but I didn’t want to replay to get better fotos, I had such a blast playing and that’s what I strive for 😄 Also not kidding, Father Winter stayed at the house all night I had to make him leave using MCCC. He was desperate to talk to my sims but they were occupied!? 😭 Also, Peony kept 💩 in her pants again and again (although she has potty level 3!). Rosemary changed her diapers a couple of times but in the end, a bath was needed. Maybe she’s lactose intolerant?! 🙈

This part of my Willow Creek revamp was heavily inspired by rural UK areas, I ended up creating a save and played it through Christmas time in the Sims and it just felt sooo cosy to me!

Caleb told me Este was up bright and early this morning - he lets me sleep in, I'm truly blessed.

Lucky was by her side and they seemed to be staring at him in anticipation. I suppose even babies and pets know it's Winterfest day.

When I did get up and get around to help prepare for the day, Tucker was hanging out around the Christmas tree. It's his first Winterfest as well.

We invited a lot of people, understandably not everyone can make it. Dakota, Jillian and Joey will be celebrating with Jillian's family this year and I'm happy for them, if my parents were still alive - I'd want to celebrate with them too.

I got to cuddle my Godson as his Dad got into an argument with this reflection? I'm not sure what's going on with August. Aubree told me his sister showed up out of nowhere and it's been really weighing on him.

We had so many infants in the house that we had to rotate them between the two cribs. There is no shortage of someone who wants to hold them so it's fine.

Before lunch, Este and Tucker had to get in a nap and they happily did it on the rug in the living room. It was adorable.

We tried to include as many people as we could this year. I'm so happy Lily was able to join us. I invited her fiance but I can understand why he didn't want to come into a house with so many vampires.

There was hours of family and friends, just enjoying time together which is so, so precious.

The time spent together is more important and priceless than any gift…but I still enjoy giving my little brother a gift that makes him make his "What in the heck Vera?!" look.

On the surface, Ronen just wanted to surprise them. He's a grand gestures type of guy, and while Nicole fell for that in the swirl of their novel love, all she wants, at this point of their family, is for him to be present. Not just bring presents! Ronen works, and still partly lives, in the city, with their home being so far from it, but that current set up just isn't seeming to work out for Nicole, as Braxton gets older.

She just knows he's starting to really remember things, so while Ronen was able to get Father Winter to come by the house as the surprise, Ronen's own presence was the surprise—and it shouldn't be.

Back at the main household, Rosalina decided to form a group with her former roommates since they haven’t seen each other in a while.

Rosalina: I can’t believe you and Cheese are getting married!

Ainsley: Yeah it’s about a time since we have a teenage son together and we’re not getting any younger.

Rosalina: just don’t get married at that venue in Tartosa. Nav’s great grandmother got married there, but ended up divorced and my wedding was a disaster. I think it’s cursed.

During Winterfest, Rhiannon asked her new crush, Shauna Sasha over and gave her. Gift. (Later on, they also went on a date and Rhiannon had her first kiss)

Noel is trying for some romance of his own and attempted to flirt with Jodi’s sisters teammmate, Hande Lassiter.

Nav: Jaipal, you look different from the last time I’ve seen you.

Jaipal: Well we all can’t use a potion of Yoith like some people, can we?

Raquel: Oh no! A fire! Call the Stripper Firefighters!

Noel: I’m already on it!

Jaipal: Great job, Sonny. We haven’t met. But 8’ your uncle, Jaipal. You know, this is why I don’t cook…
