finally making a little headway on my save file again! i'm playing around right now with moving/resizing lots

this is foundry cove in willow creek with a 30x60 lot (houses lot) and a 40x30 (pool lot). if you want to know how to resize/move lots here's some tutorials: 1 2

if there's a giant hole in your terrain after moving a lot, that's normal. you have to fill it in with something (either by expanding another lot to cover it, or using a rug that matches the grass)

i would love the ability to add more lots. i know twistedmexi's CAW is going to introduce that feature, but i literally can't wait. all i want is six tiny 20x15 lots squished next to each other

and the problem with resizing lots through S4S is that the map looks strange when the resized lot is built on. maybe i could offset the lot position on the map to fix it...idk. will keep testing!

↬ The Duchess of Glencairn's Circles Bandeau

The Glencairn branch of the royal family is arguably the most “royal”, with ties to Sunderlandian, Russian, and Danish royal families. This tiara originated from the trousseau of Grand Duchess Anastasia Georgiyevna, the ill-fated daughter of King George I of Sunderland. Anastasia inherited her mother’s theatrical side, and several jaw-dropping jewels are linked to her. The Bandeau was created in the 1890s and features diamond hoops intertwining around central pearl and diamond elements. The tiara is versatile; the pearls can be swapped with emeralds. It remained in Russia until the royal family was deposed in 1917, after which it entered the Sunderlandian royal family through the Grand Duchess’s granddaughter, Esther, Duchess of Glencairn. The tiara was worn by Esther and her second daughter, Princess Frances, who wore the bandeau as a young woman in the 1980s. The jewel parted with the family in 1994, having been sold to relieve the estate tax the Glencairns faced after Esther died in 1988. In June 1995, the tiara was auctioned at Sotheby’s, where a private buyer scooped it up for a staggering $200,000. While the duties of being part of the Queen's Court loomed ahead of her, Joan enjoyed the precious time with her newborn before she would be handed off to wet nurses. She knew some noble ladies had their children tended to by servants even in their confinement, but she had never been one of them.

While nursing Wyolet, she felt an odd sense of dizziness. She didn't even notice the wetness running down her legs, she just realized that one moment she was okay and the next she felt faint.

Quickly, she put the baby down, weakly calling out her midwife's name.

By the time that the woman got there, Joan had already started to faint and there was a pool of blood on the floor. The newborn started to cry - probably because her feeding was stopped early, but it was hard not to feel like she was stressed about her mother's condition.

Easing the woman onto the ground, the other woman rushed to have someone move her onto the bed so she could work to try and stop the bleeding.

Luckily, the bleeding was gotten under control before Joan could pass into the Watcher's embrace. It was a close call and she still was weak, but it was nothing that some rest couldn't fix.

"You are to stay in bed," the midwife lectured. "If you need the baby, I will bring her to you. You will have to rest if you hope to see her become a lady."

"I understand." Joan said with a little smile. "Thank you for helping me."

"Of course, my lady. It is my job."
