I've always liked the Knock Around Couch from Cottage Living, as its classic Chesterfield look suits so many decors (actually, it's even more historically useful than I realized; early versions date back to the mid 1700s, though it wasn't as comfortable before the Victorians got their hands on it). Unfortunately, EA didn't bother to make anything to match it. So I made a matching loveseat. And then I decided that I wanted extra colors, so I made a recolor of the original, so that the extra colors in the loveseat would have matches in the couch. And then I was already drafting this post when I realized that a matching chair would also help. So I added a chair!

Chesterfield set

In 2015 Immortelle made this chesterfield sofa and armchair - there were 6 versions of each, for each of the swatches. Since 2015 there's been some changes in coding etc. and when trying to place the sofa in game, it caused issues and didn't want to work!

I have, therefore, taken the swatches and combined these so there's one each - with the colours: Black, brown, antique blue, olive, purple, and red. I have also ensured that these work perfectly in game! Not bad for cc almost 10 years old!

From what I can tell, Immortelle (or Brial-Immortelle?) hasn't made Sims 4 cc since 2016.

Apparently Lord Phillip Stanhope, the 4th Earl of Chesterfield (1694-1773) commissioned the first leather couch and settee. I'm not sure what shape the original Georgian chesterfield would have looked like - there's several different versions; all I can say, is that these were definitely around in the Victorian era.

Ts3-Ts4 Conversion of The Dauntless Lady Collaboration with@ferdianasims

I should’ve posted this since last week, but with Christmas and having celebrated The Kagamines 12th birthday (to those who aren’t aware, Kagamines are voice Synthesizer), I delayed this a lot.

I had this premium item, ‘The Dauntless Lady’ as the sims 3 called it back then. When Sims 4 came about, I stopped playing sims 3 and already made plans on cleaning up my hard-drive. Then I later tell myself: If I didn’t convert it for sims 4, it be a huge waste.

So fortunately after long search, you don’t really come across many simmers who would do conversions for you. Fortunately, @ferdianasims was kind enough to accept my request and had this convert for sims 4. 

I would like to thank her for the conversion.

Initially I did consider uploading this CC for download, but then after having a discussion with @ferdianasims, we both agreed over one thing: the original sims 3 cc really didn’t have good color texture. It look dull, and bland.

So I did the recoloring and as you can see, it is mostly black and white (because after color testing it, it appears that only black and white suit it best). Of course there is red too. Feel free to recolor with patterns if you want (I ain’t good with patterns so to speak).

Also, Merry Christmas! Even though I am probably 2-3 days late I think?

I’m looking for ts4 conversions of my ts2/3 meshes.  I really appreciate people converted my CCs for Sims 4.

I want to have all of my creations in Sims 4 if possible.  However conversion process is time consuming (some of my old meshes need fix) and long meshing work hurts my eyes.

When this letter finds you, I am already gone. Do not be sad my sweet girl, I´ve led a long and happy life and that´s something most people can only dream of. I always considered myself being one of the luckiest people on earth, having had such a wonderful wife, children, and of couse you, my precious grandchild. I am guessing the notary already told all of you about it but it must have left you especially with a lot of questions. Do you remember when you were younger, playing on our farm for the entire summer´, chasing the chickens and tending to our horses.

Even the lamas adored you, and we had some feisty little fellas. Your grandmother and I couldn´t ever imagine the day you´d stopped spending your time here. Of course you´d grown older eventually, and dear, I hope you achieve everything you ever dream of in this lifetime. But even your mom noticed soon enough that this office job that you have right now is taking all of your motivation, all of your energy, hell, I would even go as far as to say it takes your will to live. You´ve never really known your place in life, and maybe, just maybe, your place was here all along. I want to give you a chance to experience something completely different, unlike the jobs you have tried so far. Let me update you on a few things:

There are no lamas around the farm anymore. After your grandmas passing and your mom moving away, I wasnt able to take care of all of the animals properly anymore. The stable still stands, it is up to you if you´d like to give a home to lama again, or maybe even a cow. The chickens are still roaming around their shed, as happy as can be. For horses, there are only two left. Senior Silvester is a loyal, strong stallion although he isnt very fond of being ridden anymore. He´ll surely forgive you though, should you attempt to. One of the last things your grandmother did was to adopt a foal namend Kurkuma, and I couldn´t bring myself to sell it after she passed away, she held that little guy so dear. I know you haven´t ridden a horse in what feels like forever, but this is one of the things in life you never really forget.

Your mom is probably mad that I gave you the farm. Ah yes, she always imagined you to be some sort ot CEO or a doctor, so if this farm life really is not what you long for, sell it. You do not have to feel any sort of remorse if you do. I want you to be happy, after all, and I will support you from up there no matter how you will decide. But maybe this right here is exactly what you need.

So, what’s left from 2017? Certainly not much, but at least a couple of conversions to upload :-)

There are 5 meshes:

SYL Chesterfield Armchair, Loveseat and Sofa - from TS3

Shino&KCR Clive Coffeetable - from TS4, has just two slots (no middle slot, I’ve just used OMSP in the pictures)

JomSims Ephorium Table Sculpture - from TS4, can be found in Deco - Sculptures

Credit goes completely to original creators for their beautiful meshes and textures.

Everything is really lowpoly this time, the highest number being 1005 P for the sofa. One recolor for all seatings, three recolors for the sculpture. The sofa together with the loveseat need IKEA SP. Everything tested and compressed, ReadMe file includes price, comfort/energy numbers and polycounts as usual.
