What is 100 Baby Warehouse?

It is exactly what it sounds like - it's a collection of sims that were the results of 100 baby challenges. In other words, this is a warehouse of sorts, and the only thing stocked here are sims. If you are looking for a spouse for your legacy, and you know exactly the kind of sims your heir likes, you may be able to find exactly what you're looking for here - if you're looking for a family-motivated male young adult, browse our selection to see if there's someone who fits your parameters. If your NSB rose gen needs some cute sims to woo, you can find those here!

Are there only "The Sims 4" sims here?

Absolutely not! You can play a 100 baby challenge in almost every sims game - I'm not sure about The Sims 1, but I know for a fact you can in 2 and 3. So, in our navigation page there will also be sections for sims strictly in TS2 and TS3.

I'm playing a 100 Baby Challenge right now. Can I submit a sim?

Yes!! Please! This blog will be EMPTY if no one submits sims, because I simply cannot play that many 100 baby challenges at once. I'm playing 2 right now, and that's hard enough.

Will you have sims for download if no one submits any?

Well, yes. But not very many, and not a good variety. There will be no TS3 or TS2 sims if no one submits any, because I don't currently have either installed. So please, if you have sims you want to share, please do!

Can I just make a post and tag you so you can reblog it, instead of submitting my sims?

That's perfectly fine too! I just have the submission page to make things easier on everyone, but if you want to make the post yourself and tag me, that works just as well. Just add @100babywarehouse anywhere on your post, and I'll see it and add it to the sim collection.

I don't play 100 baby challenge, but I want to submit a legacy spare. Is that okay?

While this is called 100 Baby Warehouse, this is also fine. I will have a specific category for legacy spares on the navigation pages, because I know that most people play legacies more than 100 baby challenges (including myself). Otherwise, this blog might be rather empty, and I don't want that! Either way, as long as the sim would normally be kicked out of the main house and forgotten, left to the whims of story progression, the sim is welcome in this collection.

If this is the 100 baby warehouse, does that mean there are only babies/infants, toddlers, and children here?

No! Definitely not! Sims of any age can be added to our "inventory." Even adults and elders. So if you want several teens for the teen angst story you are wanting to write, have a look around our teen category.

This is officially a "warehouse," as some may call it, but I think of it as an adoption center of sorts.

Here, you will find sims that have been forgotten, or abandoned, and left to the whims of fate (or story progression). Specifically, these sims were used strictly as stepping stones in a 100 Baby Challenge - in this challenge, the children are simply a means to an end, unless their challenge is done using the multiple matriarch rules, in which case the only child that matters is the final daughter of each matriarch.

And that's just unbearably sad to me.

All of these wonderful sims have such potential, they could have whole futures ahead of them, but they are denied that simply because that's how the challenge works. They are kicked out the instant they are no longer teenagers.

So here, we have a collection of many of these wonderful sims that Watchers in need may take in and care for, themselves. These sims can have any life they may dream of - or, well... have nightmares about.

Whatever life they end up with is up to you, the Watcher."

A: No sorry, I don't plan on and probably never will be making mods for the other games because I'm happy with TS3 and I don't want to bother to learn how to create for the others 😅 Q: Will you be updating your older mods? A: Yes, at some point! They're lower priority though Q: Can we see a sneak peek of what you're working on? A: I don't mind sharing a few previews here and there, but I prefer to keep my WIPs more on the secret side until I release them 😄

Q: Your mods don't work in my game. What to do? A: First of all, please, thoroughly read through the description of the mod and see if you can find the solution to your problem there. If not, then try removing all other mods (including core ones) and see if it works. Otherwise, please specify what kind of issues you're having (so that means don't leave me hanging with a "your mod doesn't work in my game")

Q: Can you make a version of your mod where it only has xyz interaction/feature? A: No, unless they are features that overhaul different parts of the game, or seem like they should be optional, I won't make different versions of the same mod with bits and bobs taken out. However, you could always use S3PE or NRaas Retuner to remove interactions via their ITUN file.

Q: Can you make new content related to pets? I would recommend checking out ccfinds blogs, esp @pis3update since it’s pretty active, and you’ll find a lot of gr8 blogs and cc through there alone. @emilyccfinds is a good one too, although it isn’t active anymore, you’ll find a lot of awesome older stuff there, and its tag system is quite nice for finding specific cc.

You can also try searching #ts3cc tag on tumblr, it’ll show you everything any still active blog has posted to it, or check out my #ts3ccfinds tag and FAQ in my pinned post.

Hi Dee. Thanks for replying for my previous wcif and request. I've been downloading some mods and now my mod folder is around 2 GB. I saw from your FAQ / TOU that you had around 8 GB mods. how do you manage to avoid crashing on your game? Because mine said before it crashes it says "OUT_OF_MEMORY" and follow up by its error code (that I forgot the number). oh and also I'm very curious on how do you pose your sims in TS2. I know in TS3 it has poseplayer but I'm not that much familiar when it comes to that kind of stuff in TS2.

Hi! I can't really avoid crashes, but there are some tips that can help, they are linked on the FAQ page.

Lesya has a nice tutorial about posing, and also, back then, I learned from Skell's tutorial. Posing in sims 2 has a lot more adjustability than in other sims games, so it can be a bit tricky, but it can also get you closer to what you imagine with less poses :)

Hi! First off, GORGEOUS screenshots! I’m very intrigued by your zombie aftermath challenge and can’t wait to see how the story continues. Apart from what is already listed in your FAQ, are there any other mods or CC you’re using to improve the gameplay for this challenge? I’m assuming nraas vector at the very least? Did you make any changes to the rules to for a better experience? In the MTS thread several people were adjusting which traits count as survival traits, for example.

I haven't really played much at all but I can say that this challenge really works well in ts3 not only because of the open world but also because it offers so much gameplay already that I hardly go out of my way to look for mods anymore. However, to further enhance the challenge, I highly recommend the following (for realism):

Arsil's napping mat for toddlers

Unrestricted sponge baths

Nraas Vector + Zombies

At the moment, I am closely following the rules except for the 0 household funds and no cars. I let my sims have at least one car, so they can get around town once a week to fish or look for resources.

Default CC Won’t Load/Show in game?

Hello, I am having trouble getting “Default Replacements” to load in game.

My install of TS3 is less than a week old. I have all of the packs, patch 1.67, Windows 11.

I have added other CC and Mods of different file types (sims3pack, .package) successfully, but anytime I attempt to add a “Default Replacement” it does not show/load in the game.

The all of the CC and Mods that I am using is newly downloaded and patch appropriate. Everything else loads without any problems, All I am trying to do is add a Default Skin and Default Eyes, one file of each.

Both are .package files. I added them to my Sims 3/Packages/Mods folder and I also tried placing them in my overrides folder and I received the same result. Could it be something in the config or resource file that needs to be changed to accept Default Replacements? I’m not sure what else it could be.

I have also read through the FAQ, troubleshooting and how to install cc and other similar articles on the Sims Wiki. I’m not currently the most tech savvy but I can learn and follow instructions, if anyone would like to help me. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hello, thank you for messaging us, and thank you for all the game info.

As far as Custom Content goes, there can be several things causing the inability to load.

Sometimes it's as simple as Clearing cache from The Sims 3 folder. It is recommended to clear it every time the player adds new or removes any Mods or Custom Content.

All CC in .package form goes only into The Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder, or another folder within the Packages one if you're organising your files. Remove it from the Overrides folder.

Is your Resource.cfg file within your Mods folder?

Should none of the tips above work, move out your Mods folder to another safe place (say, Desktop, another Drive or external disk). Clear the cache again. Generate a new Mods folder by downloading one from Mod The Sims, or from SimFileShare created by SimsPlayer. MTS has detailed instructions on what their folder contains, SimsPlayer's quote on their folder: It has a resource.cfg file, an Overrides folder with Ccmerged.package file from NonaMena and ContentPatch.package from ZeeGee Sims. As well as some sub-folders you can add custom content and mods to. All that is included is nointro.package and NoBuildSparkles.package. –It works with All Sims 3 versions.

Place the new Mods folder into The Sims 3 folder. Next up, start adding .package files one by one to test them out. Use just one file to test if the game will recognize it. Of course, clear cache files before starting the game up.

5. In doing so, please make sure to check your files aren't compressed, zipped or actually CC for The Sims 2 or The Sims 4.

If nothing works, please get back to us with the new information from these things, so we could figure something else out. Below I'll leave you some website, forums questions and tips to check out just in case:
