Julien Cooke has passed away at home amongst his family, at the age of 79.

He is succeeded by his widow Sandy; their three children Julie Ottomas, Sandra Ramaswami and James; and three grandsons Peter Ottomas, Jackson Ottomas and Bradley Ottomas.

Patrick snuck into mom and dad’s room to autonomously make their bed, which was really sweet - he has 10 niceness points, which is a nice change from most of my born in game Sims who have 1. Seriously, SO many of them. My neighbourhood is full of assholes.

But, he also has 7 playful points, so as soon as he was done making the bed, he got to jumping on it!

Cyd Roseland has reportedly passed away in the Evangelical Acres County Jail, where the 78 was still serving time for the crimes he and two others were found guilty of about two decades ago.

He leaves behind his widow Ginger; their 5 children Basil, Cicely Picaso, Laurel, Lavender and Thyme; and one grandchild, Cedric Picaso.

He has been laid to rest in the local church graveyard, awaiting his wife.

Since FF14 is taking a while to update, yesterday’s progress on the Quiver family:

Founder and popularity sim Adam met Sadie Buckingham at college. He graduated with a 4.0 in Psychology so he can become a cult leader.

A couple days after he graduated they married with her dropping out since she’s not gonna be allowed to work outside the home anyway. She’s a fortune sim, so she can do financial advice on the computer, but she’ll never get her career based LTW (and neither will he since he wants 5 top level businesses lmao)

They immediately had twins as I have previously shown - heir Bartholomew and Baylie.

They are now kids...

And another new sister Bethany.

They’re not reproducing nearly as swiftly as they could be, husband’s working a lot and they’re not always successful when they try. Still, could still have double digit number of kids.

The eldest branch of the Ottomas family, led by headship David Ottomas, his wife Georgia Newson, and children Alabama, Carolina and Tennessee.

David is getting on in years now, but still tours his Christian rock for the masses, where hopefully he does more good than gets harm from the necessary lifestyle. His wife is more down to earth staying in the community with some local work and raising the children.

Carolina is the younger daughter and middle child who has very controversially dyed her hair, albeit a more feminine color. The elder branch of the Newson family, led by headship Gavin Newson, with his wife Sharla Ottomas and their children Aimee, Alvin, Sherwin and Theodore.

Not much has changed for Gavin and Sharla in the past decade, coasting on Gavin’s business success and watching their children grow towards maturity. Sharla is known to complain about some of the next generation of wives especially, but some speculate she is jealous of the attention they get and youth they still have.

In the old Ottomas house, the branch headship is Tommy Ottomas, with his wife Tulip Go and children Thomas Jr and Daisy (with one more on the way).

Tommy is actually the second son of his generation, but inherited the family home since his elder brother had already left and established his own family in a larger home. There was concern over whether Tommy would marry at all, waiting until about when his youngest brother married. Perhaps he was simply picky, others have rumored that he met Tulip through her brother from conversion therapy. Regardless, he has married a woman and has soon-to-be three children, so whatever the truth it all worked out.

The main branch of the Go family, effectively led by headship Tony with his wife Patience Gavigan and their children Tamara and Anthony. His ageing father is still alive, but serving time in jail and it’s unclear if he’ll live to leave and lead the family again.

Tony is a conflicting figure, both judged and celebrated for being such a successful example of the local church’s ‘ex-gay’ movement, which adds to the suspicion over her choice of career even if it does support his family. Still, he has married a woman and he does have children, so it’s just evidence that it works! May they have many children to come!*

They’re in their late 70s now, but the glamor of Hollywood still lingers around the former actors. Some might say they never entirely fit the fundamentalist mold, but they raised their three children (and one adopted) to do so, so their descendants should stay loyal to Jesus.

The Traveller family, led by Terry Traveller, with his wife Sarah Ramaswami and their two sons.

Terry is a dubious figure in the local community. His father was sent to jail and died there, he has piercings and doesn’t have a formal job, he’s been accused of flirting with other men’s wives... Yet he’s also very charming, and refuses to be passive-aggressively dissuaded from the local church or shamed into changing.

The main branch of the Gavigan family, led by patriarch Nathan and his prominent wife ‘Mama Mary’.

The Gavigan parents are still going quite strong in their late 70s, which Mary has put down to good loyal marriage, having a big family, and faith in the Lord. She will often be overheard telling people how many grandchildren she has - the count currently being 17 with more than one pregnancy ongoing. Apparently she’s planning a big family picture with them all by the time she goes.

Prayer is actually Nathan and Mary’s second son, but since Isaiah was pressured to find a separate home for his family over a decade ago, it now seems like Prayer might be the one to inherit the original Gavigan house and possibly the influence his parents have had.

Dora was the youngest child of the prominent Ottomas parents and orphaned before she married but retains those many connections. She’s also quite career minded, which others in the community hope she will put aside to focus on child-bearing and -rearing.

The Roseland family is technically still led by Cyd, but having being in prison for so long and seemingly with deteriorating health, eldest son Basil is effectively headship over his wife, mother and unmarried siblings.

Basil just recently took Liberty Picaso as his wife and apparently she is already pregnant with a new generation - she does work for the local police but is rightfully putting her childbearing first, while Basil supports the family playing for a local sports team.
