y'all wait stop cause what if when janus gets his song it's like a tango or something?? and he goes around and dances with the other sides. if he does that i want to see him dip either roman, logan, or virgil. because him dipping roman could be a good opportunity to see the little bits of manipulative flirting jan did in svs, if logan becomes a dark side like the theory goes, or at least keeps up whatever connection he has to orange, it could be a metaphor for him controlling lo, and if it's virgil he could taunt him about his past as a dark side.

what's great is that through use of special effects, stunt doubles, and camera angles, this could be a great editing trick and could TOTALLY work. i mean we had the clock that was just zooming in accepting anxiety 2, and the remus face thing on two silhouettes at once in dwit during forbidden fruit, so masking like this has been done before and can be done again if they need to show two faces at once. and of course if they can't mask it they can always use split screens too, they just have to choreograph it just right so that's possible.

i'm just saying.. if there's any side that's gonna try and dance with others, it's janus. him or roman, but roman's too depressed for that.

The Taylor Swift Song Tournament: Now That We Don't Talk vs. Out Of The Woods

Now that we are out of the woods and don't talk, we continue the Taylor Swift Song Tournament. (Sorry for the long break, it wasn't planned, I got a new episode of my disease, I'm still recovering from it.) We are still in the first round of 1989. Have fun voting!

P.S.: I don't know why the quality of the gif is so bad, it looked better while creating it.

Also in the meantime, the battle between All You Had To Do Was Stay and Style is over and it was won by Style. Style got 58,8% of the 17 total votes.

Also Evermore and Tolerate It battled it out in the Evermore group. Here the winner was Tolerate It with 61,2% of a total of 49 votes.

And last but not least there was the matchup between Willow and No Body, No Crime. Here it was a very close one, but in the end Willow won with 51,3% of 39 votes in total.

P.S.: I also have my complete vinyl, cd and cassette collection of 1989 (Taylor's Version) here now and will take photos of it over the next days or weeks (depends on how I feel), and post them here when they're ready for it...

what's so clever about Clara Bow is that when she references her own name at the end, she's not talking about the present but the future, quoting the inevitable way people are going to one day talk about her, imagining it will only be in regards to the woma(e)n who surpass her. because there will be someone who surpasses her, eventually. that's the cycle of fame, isn't it? we're simultaneously captivated by the alluring trick of the past while looking for the next big thing. we compare current stars to the lights that shined before them, "you look like taylor swift." but we're also constantly waiting for someone new and greater to take the crown and captivate us anew, "you've got edge she never did." And half the song is about acknowledging that being revered is hell on earth for the people who are in it, because you're always trapped between what came before and what will come after. you're only safe insofar as you remain shiny. But the real beauty of the song is that it never succumbs to this dichotomy, but embraces it. It's Taylor acknowledging she wouldn't be who she is were it not for the women who came before her, who shared the same dreams, and recognizing her place in the chain of the women who will come after. The future's bright, dazzling.
