so talk about tara! literally anything you want!! skateboarding!tara, thoughts? what sport do you think tara would think is useless and just an utter waste of time. what's sam's favourite sport and does tara support her in that love. what's tara's most hated food enemy. does she have any skills she keeps hidden from everyone, too shy to admit to.
swinging my legs and twirling my hair thinking here . ummmmm
skateboard!tara would be SO cute!!! even cuter if it was something she got from sam. i can imagine little tara wearing a helmet and pads that are simply too big for her, balancing herself on the board while sam is in front of her, helping her by holding her hands out while tara moves (or tries to).
i don't know about one she'd dislike, but i think tara would have a certain soft spot for sports where you have to run. she can run pretty fast, but she runs out of breath just as quickly, so she'd have to sit out and watch the kids during P.E. while they ran around, laughing, with the ball.
i can also see tara trying a sport once (maybe soccer, since, well, jenna used to play soccer, or another sport which i'll get into later but it's what i think sam might've played) but maybe she had a bad asthma attack during practice or a game and had to be sent to the hospital – cut to christina prohibiting her from practicing, not for her own safety, but because she hates having to "waste her money" on hospital bills. it's not that tara's asthma was specifically bad at that point where she couldn't play, seeing she did practice for a while! but this one isolated episode was enough for her mother.
sam's a basketball girly for me. maybe i'm saying this because i'm a basketball girly (gender neutral) myself, but... sam playing basketball since she was little? it being one of her safe places, besides tara, and her dropping out as punishment for herself after her dad left (maybe because he was also a basketball player? i dunno? but i see her dropping out at 15/16 when she started to get more and more involved with drugs)? her old teammates and coach trying to reach out and help her, but she's running away from them and rejecting said help? tears.
^ more of basketball sam! i think she'd play in quick, but strong positions, maybe as a small forward or a shooting guard, where she'd be okay with an average to tall height (not being one of the tallest on the team) while also having an aggressive play style. sam was a tall kid that took a while to grow into herself, but her base was very stable, and she was quick, so she was a great and very versatile player. great shooting, amazing infiltration and layup technique. the coach loved her and saw great potential in her.
baby tara admiring how much of a good player sammy was and attending every single one of her games???? yes!!! she was too small for basketball, yeah, but sam was just so cool. sam teaching her how to shoot? sobbing sobbing sobbing
to this day, sam still watches the NBA/WNBA and knows a lot about basketball. whenever they watch together, tara loves to watch as sam gets into the game, how she's involved, standing up from her seat and watching close to the tv, hands on her hips, analyzing plays and players and all but screaming when she thinks something's wrong. it's very entertaining, and tara loves how alive her sister feels.
(not sure which teams she'd root for, though. lakers?)
tara's a very picky eater, and for a while she was super used to bland food because she cooked (or tried to cook) things for herself a lot when sam left, so i think she'd hate very strong flavours.
she loves pasta and loves noodles in general, though, so i think by the amount of instant ramen she ate when she was younger, maybe she could have a surprisingly good spice tolerance? but she only eats the same brands and doesn't explore much!
when judy and wes offered to take her out for dinner, she'd always order the most simple thing on the menu and wouldn't add much salt to it.
she eats slowly, as well, separating things on her plate and making sure what she likes is far, far away from what she absolutely would not eat.
and after scream 5, she became a vegetarian because, well, the smell of meat reminded her of some not very nice things 🫶
about secret skills!!! hmm.. i like to imagine artist tara a lot, like she draws a lot on her free time and doesn't show it to a lot of people. even sam is surprised to see how good she is when she got back, and then the guilt coming from realizing she didn't know that because as much as she was there when tara started drawing, she wasn't there, you know?

Ronance Fic Idea #2: Single Mom Nancy x Soccer Coach To Her Child Robin AU
hi welcome to another episode of its currently 1am and venny is self projecting, in today's episode we have the second part to my ronance ideas yipee!! here's the link to the first part [tw: mentions of torture and murder there] and sit back and relax since this one is more wholesome 🥰
edit: i started this at 2am and finished at 3:30am so pls beware there will be mistakes and i'll reread it tmrw when im not dying. im sorry who has to suffer through this now tho, may the lesbian goddesses be with you
set in a modern-ish time (I'm still not sure when this fic would take place in but definitely not the 80s) with no upsidedown or anything like that, and because of this nancy doesn't end up with jonathan.
nancy and steve were young and experimenting when steve accidentally gets nancy pregnant at 17. nancy's dad doesnt allow her to abort and practically disowns her while karen, the sweet angel she is, helps nancy with little max so she can learn how to take care of a child while still being able to go to school.
at some point steve and nancy breaks up mutually due to the fact they started to fall out of love and that raising max wasn't making their collapsing relationship better. but to this day, steve still stays in hawkins, working multiple jobs to send money to nancy for max's welfare and college. (ik he was an ass in s1 but idc, i want him to be a good dad)
after nancy finishes her college (let's say she doesnt go to emerson but another high level college in indiana), a year later, nancy gets a job and boston where her and max officially move to at the age of 23 for nancy and 6 for max.
HERE COMES THE SELF PROJECTING WOO!!
since nancy was practically away all the time due to her studies, she didnt really got to raise max that well and have a distant relationship with her. after they move to boston, nancy tries to fix her ralationship with max. and though max loves her and understands why she practically wasnt there for half of her life, she just doesn't know her own mother that well anymore, so she distance herself and nancy having a family who are also distant, didnt know what to do.
(i am totally not self projecting my own mother's neglection when i was younger only for her to try harder around my peak teen years and being absolutely successful bcs i love my mom so much and she's still trying her best)
ANYWAYS !! who else to save their relationship than Robin "I Will Love Someone And I Will Show It In Every Way" Buckley!!!
nancy is 31 now and is the chief editor for the popular boston bugle papers (hehe fallout 4 reference), whereas max is 14, starting her first year in highschool. they're relationship is still a bit strained but if not improving little by little until one day max comes home eagerly and tells nancy about a new friend she met in school that asked her to join the soccer team after seeing her kick the ball during her gym class (said friend was jane hopper). nancy was nothing but supportive of the idea and asked her how she could join.
apparently for freshmen newcomers, they have to go to this initiation with a parent or guardian just to get direct permission for their child but if not then a signed form is plausible. ofc nancy chooses the former option wanting to watch her daughter play in a school team for the first time as she was interested in sports like softball, volleyball, basketball and skateboarding but never commiting to it through a school team until now.
SO INITIATION DAY COMES !!!
nancy is sitting along the outside bleachers just people watching and looking at max with jane and all that shit when the presentation comes and the official gym teacher introducing herself. thats when the most beautiful woman comes in looking distressed and interrupts her during her introduction to the parents and children. nancy finds out that the woman was the soccer coach who only part-times as a coach for the school soccer team. robin buckley.
obv robin looked distress bcs her ass woke up late and was almost late to the intiation.
now the pining insues, nancy practically staring at robin the whole intiation and only looking away once in a while to watch her daughter beat the shit out of everyone else in the team along with her new friend like holy shit bro.
during the intiation she meets a nice woman named joyce where nancy can finally be friends with and tells nance that she's actually the mother of max's new friend. and yadda yadda plot plot.
SO thats the most of it now on to the little fun facts of the story !!
max is ginger bcs karen's parents and her are ginger but she dyes her hair blonde so dont be confused
steve is practically besties with nancy now and has the same distant relationship problems with max too, but she still loves him
"mom, why is my second name mayfield?" "bcs you decided that you wanted me to have a miserable time while i was out on the field with your dad and left my stomach. it was may at the time too" "oh-"
nancy has dated people in the past but none of them stayed that long due to nancy's distant personality and max's evil gremlin one
max def got her sarcasm from nance. who else? steve? yeah no.
robin is 28 in the fic and is not the sweet innocent robin we know 🥺 i mean she is still sweet and caring but not so innocent if u know what i mea- *gunshot*
joyce was very sweet at learning that max was a teen pregnancy and even often invites her and nancy for dinner
nancy meets jonathan and they become friends
fun fact will was there for el's intiation bcs he could never miss a soccer game for el as el could never miss any of will's award night for his paintings!!
robin and max get along well through soccer AND their sarcasm towards the boys
nancy is unlabled and doesnt care who she dates as long she likes them and can love max too
nancy teaches max all of about sexuality and gender respectfully thats why max is so open minded
nancy doesnt fall for robin at first sight, she was mostly intrigued and attracted to her but the more they talk the more she fell for her
gonna uni reverse this shit and say nancy fell first but robin fell harder
robin part times as a soccer coach and full time as a barista in a coffee shop
thats how they officially met
robin is new to boston, she only moved a few months ago from france, her parents are american tho
max loves hearing robin's adventures while traveling around europe
robin is very physical and bcs of this, she teaches nancy (indirectly ofc) how to express love through simple gestures and she starts doing this to max
when max was hugged tightly for the first time than what she can remember from nancy, she freezes and nancy thinks she made a mistake before max hugs back
max soon realizes that she loves physical affection
robin calls nancy the sweetest things and tells her that a compliment, even small, to max wont hurt
"hey max?" "yeah?" "good job during the game today, im proud of you" "........*sobs*" "MAX?!"
safe to say max and nancy's relationship started to heal and they often even joke around now, something they almost never do due to nancy's reserve personality and max's distant one
"mom pls tell me you weren't looking at coach buckley's ass today" "okay fine i wont!" "...." "*whispering* i do it everyday-" "MOM PLEASE"
robin then shows nancy the beauty of quality time love language, something nancy lacked with max
anyways thats all for now, i hope yall know i started writing this at 2am and its now 3:39am
I HAD FUN THO!!! this one was a woozy to write but i hope yall enjoyed it, maybe i will write a fic of this since i loved it sm
we'll see 👀👀

The Neighbour [0.3]
Tumblr media
Something was irrevocably different with Remington; Emerson picked it off right away. On an early Tuesday afternoon, with the air thick and humid and the sun beating down like a plague (no pun intended), Remington was fussing over himself more than usual. He had changed out of four or five different outfits, playing with his hair, and was it appropriate for him to wear makeup? Eva hadn't seen him with it on, yet. No, it was probably best to keep it casual for now. Then again, he had a fantastic highlight that worked absolute magic under the sun...
It was around eleven thirty when Remington finally came down, dressed down but still presentable in a simple pair of ripped skinny jeans and a t-shirt. Emerson and Shy were sat on the couch as they watched Netflix, Pepper situated between them. Remington stopped short when he saw the pair cuddled up on the couch, he smiled deviously.
"Eugh! You guys are so flippin' cute it's gross!" he gushed, putting on his diva voice.
Shy chuckled softly, "Hi Rem,"
Emerson's attention diverted to his older brother, intrigued to see him all ready to go out somewhere.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Coffee with Eva," Remington replied simply.
"The neighbour with the cat?" Shy said.
"Yeah," Remington nodded, "Emerson tell you she gave us a loaf of bread last week?"
"He did," she smiled, "Poor thing, I felt for her. She looked so flustered at the pool,"
"Well, moving is a bitch already. Throw in Covid 19 and you got a real thorn in the ass," Emerson said, then turning back to his brother, "You gonna' be social distancing?"
"We're going to drink our coffee and walk around in the park," Remington replied, "She works from home anyway,"
"So, who asked who for the coffee?" Emerson asked.
Remington shrugged, stopping at the hallway mirror to fix his hair again, "She brought up how she hasn't had a chance to get around the neighbourhood, so I offered, she accepted. She has our vinyl too,"
"Which one?" Emerson asked.
"Boom Boom Room,"
"Side A or B?"
"A,"
"I'd approve either way,"
Shy couldn't help but subconsciouly squeeze Emerson's arm, a glimmer of excitement bursting behind her eyes, "So, she's a fan, too?"
"Took her a minute to figure it out. Didn't even bring up Em or Seb, so clearly she pays more attention to me," the blonde smirked.
Emerson glowered at his brother, "Yeah, yeah, go for your cup of fuck-off-ee," he grumbled.
Across the street, with her room strewn in discarded clothes that just didn't make the cut, Eva finally felt confident standing in her denim skirt and black tee. On any other day she'd have paired the ensemble with her pleather jacket, but it was too damn hot out. Even with the window letting in a cool breeze, the air was uncomfortably humid. What did she expect when moving from the Emerald City to Los Angeles?
Eva made sure to close and latch the window shut before she left, not eager for Pluto to go off on another reign of terror. Stopping to grab a fresh face mask, her phone suddenly began to vibrate in her purse. She figured it might have been Remington sending her a text, but the screen flashed to the Blocked Caller ID. Eva rolled her eyes and denied the call.
Stepping out into the humidity, Eva waved her hand over her face as she stepped out of the complex courtyard, just at the same time Remington was locking the door to his house. As soon as she caught his eye, he was all smiles.
She was glad to see him; a little relieved, even. He looked cool, cool enough to appear on some grungy magazine cover. All he needed to complete the look was a cigarette and maybe a skateboard, too. The messy blonde hair, the glimmer in his eyes brought back the warmth she associated with his presence and as she came to meet him at his car, his spicy cologne danced up her nose and imprinted itself in her olfactory memory.
Remington had never been more wary of how his hands shook, his left hand he stuffed into his jean pocket and the right he gripped his car keys with a vice-esque grip. He found himself mesmerized briefly by the fit of her skirt, her black t-shirt tucked in smoothly but not too tight to over expose her figure, but just enough to give Remington an idea. Her short brown hair fell delicately over her face, one side pushed back behind her ears and exposing her stormy blue eyes to the sunshine. She was the embodiment of innocence and grunge wrapped into a perfect five-foot-six package.
"Glad you didn't stand me up," he grinned.
"Well, I kind of happen to live right over there," she drawled, pointing to her balcony, "It'd be kind of awkward and hard to hide if I tried,"
"You look really nice," he nodded after a brief moment.
"So do you," she agreed with confidence, "Where we off to?"
There was a forested park not far from where they lived. Despite the pandemic, the fields were filled with older kids playing games of soccer and basketball, there were vendors out trying to sell their ice cream, a couple girls were scattered across the grass and sunbathing. It almost all seemed so normal, if not for the fact that the kid's jungle gym had been fenced off so no child could climb upon it.
The pair walked side-by-side, him with his iced black coffee and her with a green tea frapp -- no whipping cream. The gravel path they walked was shaded by a canopy of lush green trees, providing some relief from the hammering heat. Remington kept his gaze locked on her, worried to miss a moment where she'd crack a smile or briefly run her tongue over her lips. Her fingers appeared so dainty yet he could spot the small calluses at the middle joint of her thumb, and some paper cuts on her middle and index fingers.
"So, how does a ghostwriter get hired?" Remington asked, "Do you just openly advertise 'hey! If you're a lazy author, come hire me'?"
"No," Eva shook her head with a giggle, "I used to write articles for the newsletter at my college, and then a friend of mine forwarded me an email about a client who was looking for a ghostwriter. I didn't know much about it but the money was pretty good. It was a grant application for requesting financial aid for survivors of residential schools,"
"Sounds depressing," Remington said.
"It was pretty heavy shit," Eva admitted, "But, I did get fifteen-hundred for a six page application. Well worth it, I'd say,"
Remington blew an impressed whistle, "So you make pretty good money off of this?"
"Let's just say my student debt has decreased significantly since I took up the profession," and she took a brief sip of her drink.
"You ever publish anything under your own name?" he asked, "Eva Kuznetsov is a cute pen name. Evelina sounds more mature, though..."
Eva shrugged, "I think about it sometimes... but it's just easier to write under someone else's name and let them have all the glory. Say, if they happen to do something stupid to forever tarnish their career, that won't come back to bite me in the ass,"
Remington smirked, "Like a particular fantasy author who's made some pretty heavy comments concerning the trans community?"
"Let's not even talk about that, my heart still breaks when I think about it," Eva sighed, "To answer your question, however, if I got confident enough I may try to publish something in the future,"
"What else do you like to write?"
Eva opened her mouth but closed it quickly, pressing together her petunia pink lips as she visibly swallowed whatever words were about to pass through them. When she looked up at Remington again, his brown eyes dark like soaked coffee grinds that sent her into a caffeinated headrush. What would he think if she actually told him...
"I write poems, some short stories," she somewhat lied.
Remington's smile grew wider, mischief glimmering over his face like light beams reflecting over windchimes in a saturated dusk, "You hesitated just now," he spoke curiously, "What else do you write?"
Eva glanced down at the ground, a nervous giggle bubbling out and knocking the air out of her lungs, "Okay listen, don't judge me, it's just a hobby of mine,"
"Oh God!" Remington gasped, "Do you write porn?"
Eva laughed again, her pale cheeks flushing in red, "Well... I do happen write some naughty shit... in my fanfictions,"
Remington stopped dead in his tracks, taken aback by her answer. He totally thought she would say something along the lines of erotic fiction on a platform like Literotica. For understandable reasons, he had some mixed emotions about fanfictions.
"What kind of fanfiction?" he asked, somewhat bordering on the third degree.
"... Um..." she glanced at him again, the smirk on his lips compelling more giggles to burst from hers. She pressed her hands together over her nose and mouth, and Remington laughed as well.
"Okay listen, I promise," he put his right hand over his chest, "I promise I will not judge you for whatever smut you write for whoever," he assured her.
"It's not... yeah, I guess it kind of is," Eva chuckled nervously, "I usually write for stuff like Criminal Minds, but more lately I've gotten into writing for Euphoria..." she trailed off, timid as she waited for his response.
"Alright, that's actually not bad," he nodded, "I'll be honest, you didn't strike me as somebody who write fanfics,"
Eva glanced timidly at her scuffed sneakers, kicking up pebbles and dust, "Are fanfic writers supposed to look a certain way?"
"I don't know, actually," he simpered.
"I don't tell a lot of people that I do it, mainly because their first impression is either 'what the fuck' or 'OMG we should collaborate' and I'm just like," she hung her head back, "Nooo!"
"You're more of a soloist then a team player, then?" he teased.
"Let's just say I tend to work better alone," she replied, shrugging her shoulders as though the comment should mean nothing. But Remington found it odd that Eva was out here all on her own, never brought up her friends or family. He didn't see many personal effects in her apartment, neither.
"Is that why you're out here by yourself?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" she replied.
"Well... don't take this the wrong way, but I haven't really seen you with anybody. You don't talk about your friends or your family,"
Eva shrugged again, "They're all back in Seattle. Besides, opportunity was drying up over there and I just wanted a fresh start," she said, "Besides, Pluto's my friend,"
"Well, that's a given," he replied, "Are your parents up in Seattle?"
"My dad is," she nodded, "I don't know what my mom's doing," Remington's silent was her cue to go on, "I um... we haven't really spoken, her and I,"
"You have a falling out?" he asked suddenly.
Eva glared down at the gravel again, "You can call it that. She's a pilot and she's always flying, and so you know, I never really got to see much of her growing up. And then, she suddenly shows up for my college graduation and expects us to be one big happy family, like she has it in her head that she can make up for all the birthdays and shit she's missed. And I just didn't know what to say to her. I don't know who she is, but she's my mom," she glanced up at Remington again, "And I don't know why I'm telling you all of this,"
Remington wasn't bothered by her unloading, it seemed as though Eva needed to get things off her chest more than she realized. Her smile was sardonic and her voice petty like a comedian on stage, putting on the brave 'I don't give a fuck anymore' face.
"I find sometimes it's easier to unload to new people then it is to your friends," he said, "What does your dad do?"
"Chem professor. Which is ironic because I seriously sucked at chemistry," she replied.
"Show me a kid who didn't struggle in chem, honestly," he said, "But do you get along with your dad?"
"For the most part," she chuckled, "He's still confused as to why I choose to write anonymously, but that's his problem. What do your parents do?"
Remington chewed on the inside of his cheek, "My mom's kind of like our manager. Does a lot of production and behind the scenes stuff. And I haven't seen my dad for nearly twenty years,"
Eva was silent for a moment, studying him. He spoke with a firm grin, yet still trying to shadow that flicker of sadness within his face.
"So we both have parental issues... that's nice to know," she put on a teasing grin, "Maybe that's why we make such good friends?"
Remington swallowed thickly, "So, you are indeed confirming we are friends?"
"I am," she smiled, "It'd be nice to have whatever few I can scrape up,"
"That fact that you also live across the street means that you're now stuck with me," Remington grinned with pride.
"True," Eva hummed appreciatively, taking another sip of her drink, "Somehow, I don't think I'll mind, though,"
When Remington drove her home she gave him a sweet and polite goodbye, a hug which made his confident exterior falter for a second long enough for her to witness it through the flush in his cheeks and his lack of response. His words tripped over the length of his tongue when he tried to flush out a proper goodbye and he felt his hands began to quiver again.
And when he went to open his door, he took one last glance. The small brunette turned at the same time and met his gaze, but he was too far away to hear her sharp inhale. And when he finally went inside he fall back against the door, staring into space with the biggest grin he'd had on since... well, he couldn't remember when he last felt so excited.

Full Name: Dana Ordoñez Gender and Sexuality: cis female, straight Pronouns: she/hers Ethnicity/Species: Ecuadorian, American, human Birthplace and Birthdate: also born & raised in southern california, youngest of the group, younger than andrew by only like 6 months Guilty Pleasures: theatre. she’d probably never ACT but she likes big musicals Phobias: feeling her feelings, dying, every having symptoms in any way What They Would Be Famous For: ok, SHE probably wouldn’t be famous, but she’s diabetic & a part of LOTS of trials about it. she’d probably be famous for a breakthrough, like a working bionic pancreas transplant, or figuring out an environmental trigger for auto-immune disorders. something like that What They Would Get Arrested For: trespassing OC You Ship Them With: Andrew OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Preston, though he doesn’t have the energy Favorite Movie/Book Genre: action movies! superhero films! anything big and fun and larger than life! Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: can’t STAND stuff she claims is “boring,” like 95% of the documentaries Preston and Esther like to watch together Talents and/or Powers: skilled at soccer and basketball. loves the Look of skateboarding but is actually shit at it. weirdly good at improving people’s moods bc she always knows JUST the fun activity to try Why Someone Might Love Them: fun & lovable, like a puppy, stupid but in a way that makes her good at stand up comedy Why Someone Might Hate Them: she’s my protagonist, so she starts out in the worst position of all - denial. she is so bad at seeing nuance in things or considering other points of view, or living her own truth. she’s newly diabetic & still buying into the whole “your life won’t have to change at all!!” bit. she’s headstrong & self-destructive How They Change: she’s the catalyst that takes everyone else on their journeys in a way. it’s major when she finally allows anger in, and starts acknowledging her life and what’s happened to her. Esther thinks she needs to cry, but Andrew is like, “I got this” and takes her to go smash some stuff bc it’s not sadness that comes first, no, it’s all the anger that she’s been suppressing that comes right out. Eventually she travels through all the stages and is the first besides Esther to really come to acceptance. Why You Love Them: i think akko from LWA really subconsciously influenced me here. she’s that kind of bombastic energy I used to have and have since lost. Idk, a lot of self-projecting my own problems onto her. she’s diabetic and trying all these new meds and her body just doesn’t listen to her, no matter how much she wants it to. I hope that through taking her on her journey to acceptance of what she can and can’t do, and what she has to live with, can help me get there too in some way, even if the whole story mostly ends up being in my head

Christmastime with Kids
A/N: Day 5 of my 25 Days of BAU Christmas. This one is a contrast between Christmas morning with the LaMontagne Family and the Simmons Family. What’s it like with 2 kids? What about four?
“Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!” Jake, David, Chloe and Lily pushed the door open and jumped onto their parents, still sleeping after staying up late eating “Santa’s” cookies.
Matt smiled in his half-awake state, pulling the covers over himself and Kristy. “Five more minutes.”
“But it’s Christmas!” Lily screamed, sitting her tiny, 40-pound body on his side. “It’s time for presents and looking at the tree and pancakes!”
Kristy began to stir, almost ready to get up, but Matt wanted to tease the kids for just a few more minutes. He so rarely got these uninterrupted times at home, so he wanted to take advantage of the little moments. “But Daddy’s sleepy,” he mumbled into the pillow. When they were a little older, he’d get to sleep in a little - at least he kept telling himself that.
“Pancakes! Pancakes! Pancakes!” The children started to chant causing Kristy to giggle and push herself up. Despite the messy hair, she still looked beautiful, and their children were all happy and healthy; he couldn’t have felt more blessed.
Just as he was thinking about how truly lucky he was, Kristy started to chant too. “Pancakes! Pancakes! Pancakes!” They were his job.
“Alright, I’m up!” He laughed, grabbing his girls, one under each arm and and squeezing them tight. Standing up, he stretched out and got ready to bolt. “Last one downstairs doesn’t get any pancakes!”
Kristy just rolled her eyes. He really was a giant child.
JJ and Will had been up late doing...things, the night before, so they were both startled awake by the boys banging on their bedroom. “Mom! Dad!” Henry called. “Michael is crying! He thinks Christmas isn’t coming because you won’t get up! Get up!”
Immediately, JJ bolted out of bed, with Will close behind, and ran into Michael’s room. “Hey, little man. Christmas is already here! Mommy and Daddy were just tired.” The three year old stopped crying, sniffling just a little bit as he looked at his big brother.
“That’s what I told him, but he wouldn’t believe me!” Henry already looked exasperated. At nearly 11 years old, he was starting to get to that age when dealing with a little brother was trying, but since it was Christmas, the tired parents could tell he was attempting to hold back his irritation. “Will you believe me next time Michael?” He nodded, his hand still holding the blanket that he was using to dry his tears. “Good, do you want bacon and waffles now?” That  he was interested in.
While JJ and Will trailed closely behind, hand in hand as they walked down the stairs, Michael and Henry hurried downstairs by the tree. Henry sat at the table, but Michael had other ideas. There was a pile of presents from Santa and he needed them now. “Michael, why don’t we have breakfast first?”
“Yea, I’m hungry,” Henry laughed. His stomach growled just at the right moment as if to scream ‘feed me.’
JJ looked between her boys. Christmas should be celebrated how people were comfortable and considering the age gap between them, it made sense to start doing things slightly differently. “How about we bring out the camera and you and I can take turns filming Michael and cooking breakfast for Henry? Then when Henry’s done eating, he can have the camera all to himself.”
“I like that idea,” Henry said, smiling at his mother. “You know how much the camera loves me.”
“You’re such a ham, boy,” Will laughed as he ruffled his son’s hair and brought out the waffle iron and a pan to fry the bacon. “You take the first turn with Michael, JJ.”
“Ready to open your first present?” JJ asked, watching as Michael impatiently waited for permission to open his first gift.
Suddenly, the wrapping paper went flying.
Matt didn’t even try to sit down. He just ate pancakes right off the griddle as he passed them off to his kids and wife. “Is everybody full of pancakes now?” He laughed. The boys had chocolate chip residue all over their lips, and the girls resorted to each with their hands. But they all seemed content. “First things first, everyone needs to wash their hands and faces.”
“Otherwise Santa’s gifts will get all covered in chocolate, Kristy laughed.
It took a little bit longer for everyone to cleaned up than Matt had imagined, but that was Jake and David’s fault. They thought it would be fun to use the removable faucet on the sink to spray their parents, sisters and each other, so they all needed to change into dry clothes before opening their gifts.
As was tradition, Matt brought out the camera and handed his first gift to his wife. Mom always got to open the first present. “Matt it’s beautiful,” she said, staring down at the top. It was a brilliant white, cashmere cardigan. “It’s so soft. It’s amazing. I have no idea how much you spent on it.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t tell you,” he laughed, putting the camera down for a moment to lean over and kiss his wife. “Alright, each of you take one gift from the pile and wait for me to film. I want everything on camera.”
Once the children had a gift, they all went crazy, ripping the wrapping paper to shreds and throwing it in the air. It was almost like a cartoon, where the paper came down slowly enough to block their reactions to everything. “It’s a football!” Jake cried. He’d been wanting a professional one for a while now. David liked soccer more, so it was a soccer ball for him.
Little Lily loved basketball, always admiring the women she saw on tv, so Santa brought her a basketball, and last but not least, Chloe unwrapped a sketchpad and colored pencils, an avid drawer since the day she could hold a pen. “Okay, the next presents you open, you all need to chill,” he chuckled, “I wanna see your faces when you open them.”
As the four kids lunged toward the pile of gifts again, Kristy beamed. “I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
“Yea, me either,” Matt replied.
“Only one more present from Santa, little man,” Will said as he pushed the final package toward his youngest son. Michael had had entirely too much fun opening gifts, but he nearly had as much fun playing with the wrapping paper. As the paper went flying one more time, Michael’s face lit up.
“Rocket ship,” he whispered, his eyes sparkling like the stars. It was an impulse buy. A $100 inflatable tube that was painted to look like a space ship and big enough for him to sit inside it. He’d been obsessed with space lately, so it seemed like a good bet. “Can I play in the rocket ship?” He lisped.
“Of course you can. Daddy just needs to set it up,” JJ laughed. “Now Henry, it’s your turn.” The older child rubbed his hands together and ran to sit at the base of the tree. Unfortunately, a classmate had ruined the illusion of Santa for him the year before, but when he came home, he asked if that meant that she and Will had bought their gifts. When she said yes, he replied with, “That’s even better because that means you bought it with your own money. Santa just gives gifts to everyone, but that means that you and Daddy did it especially for us.”
JJ couldn’t have been more proud of him. “Remember,” she whispered, “”Since you’re older, your gifts are a little more expensive so there are less of them.”
“I know, Mom.”
Reaching over, he grabbed the first package and ripped the paper open. “It’s a rocket ship model!” He exclaimed, showing his gift and enormous smile to the camera. “Maybe Uncle Spencer could help me build it.” Ironically enough, Uncle Spencer was the one to tell JJ to buy it; he did know his godson well.
One by one, the gifts were opened and cherished. They’d bought him a few smaller things, like the model set, a nerf gun, and a basketball hoop for the back of his bedroom door, and two larger gifts. The first one he’d opened was a Star Wars lego set of the Millennium Falcon. Spencer was definitely going to want to help with that one. “Last one, Henry.”
He rubbed his hands one more time, flashed the camera a cheesy smile and grabbed the final gift. It was in a giant box. “What could it be?” The year before, they’d bought a PS4 for the family, so this year they got him his own special chair. It was $150, but the look on his face was worth it. “Wait! Wait! Does this chair have speakers? I can use it to play my video games?”
“That’s what it’s made for,” Will said, as he put the final touches on Michael’s new rocket ship. “It’s really comfortable. I sat in one of them at the store before.” Henry hastily ripped the box open and dragged the chair out.
“Oh my god, this is amazing!” Henry ran into JJ’s arms and whispered, “thank you,” before going to do the same with his father. “I’m gonna go play games now!”
The opening of gifts was always over far too quickly, but every year, that hour or so was worth all the aggravation, money and time spent. A little later on, they’d be heading to JJ’s parents house for dinner, but for now, the house was quiet save for a few shots going off from Henry’s video game, and the giggle of their three-year-old, already on his way to space.
“Alright!” Kristy said, trying to project her voice over the chaos of a house with four children. They’d already opened almost all their gifts. “Each of you has one gift left. Jake, you first.”
In an instant, the paper was on the floor. It was like he was The Flash or something. “It’s a skateboard! Can I outside and play with it?”
“In a few minutes,” Matt replied, “and you need to put on a coat. It’s cold outside!”
“Okay, I’ll go get changed!” The oldest boy ran up the stairs at the speed of light. Next was David.
The younger boy’s eyes lit up. A set of connectable, giant foam blocks. He could make a fort with them. “I’m going to play with this now,” he said softly, turning the package away from his parents and little sisters. “I’ll be in my fort.”
Finally, were the twins, Chloe and Lily. Lily was their little tomboy. “Basketball?”
“It’s a hoop for your room!” Kirsty said happily, pointing at the picture. A small play hoop could sit in her corner of their room, and she could shoot hoops until her hearts content - and she was old enough for a professional hoop. “You like?”
Lily nodded and turned to her father. “Can I put it in my room?”
“Once Chloe opens her last gift, I’ll help you.” That seemed to be enough, because she sat back and stared at her sister.
Chloe had gotten almost all art-related gifts, and this last one was no different. In addition to loving art, she loved animals, so when Matt saw a giant paint by numbers in the store of elephants in the wild, he knew he had to buy it for her. “Elephants are my favorite!” She cried as she opened the package.
Matt spoke under his breath. “Score one for dad.”
While Chloe ran to the table to start coloring, Kristy and Matt picked the slew of wrapping paper up off the floor. After dropping it off in the garbage can outside, they both got changed so they could watch Jake play with his new skateboard. “Another successful Christmas morning, I’d say,” Kristy said softly, leaning her head on her husband’s shoulder. “They’re already getting so big.”
"True, but that’s the great thing about Christmastime. It doesn’t matter how old we get. When Christmas comes, we’re all kids again.”

COMMENTARY: There are ways to keep your kids active during the coronavirus lockdown
Tumblr media
The battle against the spread of COVID-19 requires social distancing or confinement that radically changes the way we live with our children and adolescents.
As physical and health education (PHE) teachers responsible for the health education courses offered at l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) for future teachers, we have some advice for families living in confinement to help parents and children lead the healthiest and most active lives possible.
First of all, always keep this formula in mind: move, eat well, sleep, relax, manage screen time, play.
READ MORE: What to do with your kids during the outbreak
Continue to be active
Adopting or maintaining physical activity is essential, even in a confined space. Children and adolescents should be active for a minimum of 60 minutes a day as recommended by the World Health Organization.
These can be intense moments of activity such as simple games — playing hide and seek, making a fort in the basement, inventing a route in the alley, throwing a basketball, kicking a soccer ball, playing ball hockey in the street, dancing, biking or skateboarding.
Tumblr media
What’s important is that the activities are varied and regular. (Shutterstock)
You can also ask your child to explain the latest game they learned at recess or in their health and physical education class and try it out with them. The possibilities are endless!
Take active breaks
As well, you can alternate with fine motor activities such as writing, painting, drawing, modelling, sewing or crafts. These activities should be interspersed with breaks and ideally be done in several short periods of five to 15 minutes rather than in one long 60-minute period. What is important is that the activities are diversified and regular.
Other options exist for getting young people moving, such as walking and household chores. Additional strategies can be found online, such as active breaks with GoNoodle, Wixx (in French) and H2GO, for example.
Be careful to choose your breaks carefully. Some of them are more useful or even more fun. Finally, free play outside, in a backyard, garden or in the street, without contact with others, is another possibility.
There are also many online resources for parents, such as yoga, pilates, crossfit and circuit training at home (in French).
Healthy, balanced eating
Boredom and withdrawal can easily lead to complacency in a confinement situation. This is an excellent opportunity to cook as a family and to learn how to eat healthily with our children by offering them recipes adapted to their abilities and needs. A balanced menu can be planned ahead of time by including the necessary groceries according to your budget.
Tumblr media
Remember that eating should be associated with pleasure and not a chore. (Shutterstock)
Canada’s Food Guide can be an excellent home reference tool for children. It is also possible to introduce children to new foods, our own cultural specialties, and other foods through well-known sites such as Ricardo.
For parents who like to experiment, this is the opportunity to try out new recipes or to dust off the old recipe books that are lying around in your library. It’s also an opportunity to make your children aware of the importance of gardening, food waste, recycling and composting.
As the food guide indicates, we must encourage diversity, reasonable portions, meals in good company and the pleasure of enjoying our food. In this time of confinement and upheaval of routine, the temptation to lose good habits can be great.
Get a good night’s sleep
The current crisis requires a major change of pace. For the well-being of all (parents and children alike), it is important to get enough sleep.
A tired child is under stress and will be more irritable, which can have an impact on the whole family.
It is best to keep the usual bedtime and wake-up times, with a preference for quiet activities (without screens) just before bedtime.
READ MORE: Resources to help kids learn from home
Reduce sources of stress
Isolation is a difficult time because we need to exchange with others. It is important to find other ways to do this, such as organizing a meal for friends via Skype, FaceTime or Messenger, calling or writing messages to family and friends.
There may also be times when your children experience stress, boredom or mental exhaustion related to the confinement situation. It is important to give them periods of rest, alone and quiet.
Pay attention to the well-being of all family members. Organize breaks during the day when you find that motivation is no longer there. It’s good to change tasks after 30 or 45 minutes or when you think that the screen time has lasted long enough. Read something other than the news and allow everyone to quietly retreat to a room in the house when necessary.
Manage screen time well
Exposure of young people to screens has the potential to change their behaviour and can have a negative effect on sleep.
In this regard, studies show that the more time spent in front of the screen, the greater the risk of suffering from depressive symptoms, anxiety and obesity in the longer term.
For good TV management, educator Philippe Meirieu suggests adopting the following formula: choose in advance, watch with, talk after (French).
We must change our children’s relationship with screens. First, help them choose screen content and formats, watch videos or play games with them and then discuss what has been viewed.
This accompaniment allows children to distance themselves from the content they consume, to criticize it and to reflect on it. Finally, we must manage what Meirieu called the “available brain time” for learning so that children can continue to learn and not just be entertained.

Coronavirus: How Parents Can Pass the Time With Children
Learn by playing
Young people learn first and foremost through play. This can be free play outside, board games or directed play under parental supervision. Above all they must keep their motivation and confidence.
A multitude of games and activities help consolidate what has been learned at school. Cooking, arts and crafts and physical activity are extraordinary opportunities for children to confront problems, look for ways to solve them and apply their knowledge.
This is a good time to develop children’s curiosity and independence, which will enable them to enjoy classes even more when school starts again. The most important thing is that children grow up playing and being active.
If the situation becomes difficult, or your days seem long and complicated or you find that your children need special support, don’t stay isolated. Check out blogs or chat virtually with people in similar situations. A wide range of resources are available to support the physical and mental well-being of your family unit during this time of crisis.

Saviour AU - Part 1
Tumblr media
He wasn’t rich like the others, he didn’t really fit, but he was part of the group, the rich boys that had investments in one of the biggest companies in the country, they were powerful and handsome and they could get anything the wanted, money had corrupted their every day actions, money that Byun Baekhyun didn’t have, to what extent was he like them?
You were lucky enough to be delivering the coffee every morning, you just wanted to see him, and to see him meant seeing the others too…
You had faith that he was different… just don’t trust him too much he might surprise you, and not in a good way.
Business AU/Angst/Smut in future parts.

Part 2 >
Notorious. The least it could be said about this group of boys. They went to all-boys school near where you lived, it wasn’t a private school, it wasn’t even for rich kids, but everyone knew that they chose to get there to be able to buy their high scores. Other people said that they were in that school because simply they would stand out, in a private school for rich kids they would be just like everyone else, and that is exactly what their families didn’t want for them, teaching them from young age that they were unique and above everyone else.
What drew your attention was that they always were together, sometimes you would be really close to them when their amazing cars with drivers came and collected them from the bus stop near your house. They also visited the convenience store you worked at as a part-timer to get junk. You didn’t know anything about them, just that they were gorgeous, too gorgeous to be just school boys.
They didn’t look the same age, some looked older than you some younger, some were Chinese… All this information you were gathering without really knowing why. Why were you so intrigued? It’s not like you’d ever be able to talk to them.
Your duty was to sweep the floors, those same floors that they stepped on although the yellow sign of ‘wet floor’ was very visible. Rich boys, bratty, sassy, and too unreachable.
One day you were as usual just doing your thing, you heard the Chinese chit-chat behind you, your heart pumped blood faster, they were there, followed by the sound of glass cracking in the floor, you walked to the isle where you distinctively saw the head of the tallest one, there was a broken bottle of soju in the floor, you bowed without making eye contact and lowered yourself to clean it.
“Go get another bottle and let’s go.”
“Guys they won’t sell it to you, you are all underage, why are you like this?”
“Yeah and here comes the wise Lay, Suho hyung said the guy here would sell it to us if we give him a couple more notes.”
“Just go to your father’s office and go wild with all the booze there’s in there.”
“And what will I do? My father is in freaking China, you are lucky, perhaps I should visit Mr. Kim more often in his office.”
“That sounded disturbing LuHan, shut the fuck up and let Kris try and pretend he’s over 18.”
You stood up at all this nonsense, today they were only 8 visiting the store, still intimidating, and what was said about your boss really made your stomach churn. Indeed the tallest one Kris tried buying the alcohol and he didn’t even need to pay extra, he looked old enough, getting a dozen bottles and leaving the store really proud. As you saw them leave you lowered yourself again cleaning the remaining glass cutting your finger in the process.
“Ouch!”
“Are you alright?” the melodic sound of this guy’s cute accent and incredible deep dimples taking your hand looking genuinely worried. So they did make eye contact with peasants, suddenly forgetting about the cut and the blood and everything around you contemplating his incredibly perfect skin.
“I am, I’m alright.”
“Be careful, it’s very sharp, you need help with that?”
“Oh no, please, it’s my job.”
“Yah! Lay, what the fuck are you doing?” asked one of the Korean guys.
“Oh no he is in ‘nice guy’ mode.”
“Maybe she is pretty, let him live.” Teased another one.
The guys waiting for him outside kept mocking him, nevertheless he gave you a tissue before sprinting outside.
“Done?” Asked Kris.
“Do you idiots have a heart even?” Lay was pissed looking anywhere but his friends.
“We are so proud of you gege, now let’s get drunk.”
You watched them walk away happy to have acquired the alcohol being all underage, they were not good kids, but just that Lay guy… he was, you knew he was, so that was enough to get even more attached to these hypnotising boys that all the neighbourhood talked about.
*****
You started really getting too curious. Nothing harmful, you just wanted to see them closely, to know more about them. When you asked your friends at school you were surprised that they all knew about where they hanged out. Most of them were into sports, some more than others and that is when your feet took you to the park on the last Friday of the month, their monthly get together for a session of showing off, it was more of a show than anything else, they loved the attention.
The very tall intimidating looking one Kris was shooting balls at the basket, he had his own fan club of hormonal teenage girls cheering for him along with the guy that was just simply leaning on the basketball pole, doing absolutely nothing but looking like a greek god sculpture. Much paler and shorter, however just as impressive, not sweaty like like the tall one, but his tank top revealed how toned he was. You heard Kris calling him Suho. Every time you learned the name of one of them you got excited. Your feet took you closer to admire them in action and learn more things about them.
Next to Kris and Suho was a foxy looking tall guy, unique and distinctive, he was stretching before he took a pair of nunchakus that he used like a pro, and wow… was he giving a show or what?
He was being circled by another boy on a skateboard, he was also tall and was fair skinned like Suho. He had the look of a proper vampire, even his canines stood out as he teased the boy in his martial arts practise, his features sharp and again really intimidating. They were pure work of art, he had broad shoulders that made you wonder how he fitted through doors.
“Move away Sehun-ah.”
“When you learn how to say it properly. Your accent is horrible Taozi.”
“I’m hyung bitch, better than your non-existant Chinese asshole.”
“I’ll call you gege if you say it properly.” Kept teasing Sehun.
“Stop it kids, what’s with you two?”
“Don’t waste your breath Suho, they are just a pair of babies" stated Kris before shooting another ball.
You walked further in the park curious to see the rest, coming to the small football (soccer) pitch. You recognised the cute one from the store immediately. He was way too excited scoring goals, constantly hugging another guy that had eyes like no one did on the face of the planet, was he half feline half human? Impressive to say the least, they were being called LuHan hyung and Xiumin hyung by another 2 boys. One had a beautiful smile cheeky and playful and you heard a few girls commenting about the bright yellow t-shirt he wore to draw attention to him, Chen, the owner of that smile, there was something extremely cheeky about him, apart from being the loudest. The other boy looked plainly scary, his thick eyebrows and his angry yet serene looks gave you the chills, his lips were just too perfect not to give a proper look, D.O was his nickname and he didn’t like to lose to LuHan and Xiumin.
Wondering where the guy with the dimples was, you just had to follow the screams of the excited girls with no life to find out, accurate description of you right now. You’d never ever scream or let these guys affect you too much like the bunch of losers grouped watching them.
But your heart nearly stopped when you saw a sad one sitting on one of the skatepark rails, he was looking at the skateboard he had in hand doing nothing out of the ordinary other that stealing your breath…
Breathing, yes that is what you needed to do or else you will turn blue.
“Yah Baekhyun-ah! Come on join me.” Exclaimed this tall guy with huge ears dumb looking yet handsome.
“My skateboard is shit, the wheels, they’ll break anytime.”
“Man I told you you can take mine, you are my brother, why do you keep pushing me away? Here take it! It’s not even new, just chill man.”
“I looks expensive, I feel like a burden, you keep doing all the things for me.”
“Of course it’s expensive and you are stupid, just go, come on show me what you’ve got.”
“Really Chanyeol-ah?”
“Yes Baekhyun.”
Baekhyun, Baekhyun, Baekhyun, Baekhyun, Baekhyun…
The name rang on your ear, you were so close you heard the whole conversation as if you were part of it. This wasn’t your plan, you can’t like any of these guys, firstly you were too young, secondly you were nobody. You’ve seen them so many times yet they never saw you, you were a shadow and now you were drooling watching Baekhyun on the skateboard. He was amazing, his hair was dark brown messy atop of his head, he wore a simple checkered baby blue shirt that was opened a button too much, he wasn’t toned like Kris, Suho or Tao, but he just stole your heart and was stepping on it with that skateboard, your eyes following him…
“Hi!” That melodic voice with the cute accent “you are the girl of the store right?”
“Y-e-s, you remember me?”
“Why wouldn’t I? How is your finger? I’m Zhang Yixing by the way, but they call me Lay, it’s my nickname.” He said offering his hand for a handshake.
You offered your hand shyly, he took it shaking enthusiastically “I’m ___.”
“Nice to meet you ___, I am sorry for what happened last time, the guys are just uncontrollable” he smiled.
“Who is this hyung?” Inquired a gorgeous tan boy coming with his skateboard close to where you were, you thought it would be illegal not to sign him for a modeling compny, just mesmerising.
“Hey Kai, this is ___, she works at the convenience store we always go to.”
“That one were we get all the alcohol? Nice!”
“Yo Kai, give me your skateboard.” voiced Chanyeol.
“Where is yours?”
“Baekhyun has it” Chanyeol approached eyeing you wondering who you were.
“Meet ___, she works at the convenience store.”
“Really? I never saw you there, I must say your store is like heaven, your boss is so cool, can he like adopt me?”
They were too comfortable around you, and you were just panicking in case Baekhyun would join this improvised get together.
“I’m Chanyeol, you are cute.” He offered his hand.
“Easy there man! We just met her.” Interjected Kai.
“Yeah doesn’t change the fact that she is cute,” he turned to you “very cute,” he added caressing your hand with his thumb, you pulled it away.
“Yah, didn’t you want the skateboard? Take it and leave.” Shouted Lay when he saw how uncomfortable you got.
“You should be really thankful that ‘we’ are even considering talking to you, look around you pet. See all them girls loosing their panties to talk to anyone of us?”
Did Chanyeol just say panties? Your heart sank to the floor.
“So smooth hyung, as always, I can’t believe you.” Reproached Kai.
“I am so sorry ___, you see some of us are a bit stupid like Chanyeol here, don’t mind to him, it’s been a pleasure to meet you.” Added Lay.
“I think I’m going to go, I am sorry for intruding.” Your eyes travelled to Baekhyun and the whole world stopped, the other guys talking sounded like ‘blah blah blah’ and at some point you didn’t even see them, it was the sky the earth and Baekhyun.
“Not at all, we will meet again I’m sure.” Said Lay with a comforting smile.
Kai and Lay waived at you while you watched how Baekhyun stood with the skateboard, most probably wondering what was that encounter about. You wanted the ground to swallow you whole as you felt their eyes making holes on your back while to walked. Soon a group of 4 girls came asking a thousand questions about them, you just walked ignoring them, earning yourself some nice insults.
They did come again of course. Regularly, you hid in the toilet every time you saw them from afar approaching the store. You couldn’t, you were too weak. You watched his back from the little gap as you opened the door, he was different, he just made your heart flutter, why him? They all were impressive and the aura they had could make anyone sway, but it was him. Baekhyun, the one that made you sway, and no one else.
Chanyeol visited a few times alone, he would look around as if looking for something, or someone. It wasn’t until that day that he asked for you that it hit you. You sighed in relief when your co-worker told him you were not working, she must of noticed how you avoided him when he came to the store.
What you didn’t plan on was to find Chanyeol outside the store when your shift ended that day.
“Not working? Are you avoiding me?”
You jumped and gasped in surprise turning around to meet his questioning gaze.
“Me? No not at all Chanyeol-ssi.”
“So you remember my name, that’s a good start. Are you probably acting shy? Hard to get?”
“Hard to get?”
“Want to hang out with me sometime? Feel very privileged, girls usually run after me, they do the talking normally… but I… so what do you say?”
“I am 16, I am not allowed to go out, I am sorry.”
You sprinted but he just chased you with his skateboard as you bumped into Baekhyun, you were chest to chest when you turned around the corner.
This encounter made you even more nervous, you touched him and his face was incredibly close to yours, his knitted eyebrows looking at Chanyeol that came right after you.
“Did you just refuse me?”
You looked at Chanyeol and back at Baekhyun who looked just as pissed.
“Let’s go Chanyeol, don’t get why are you so bothered, she’s nothing.” Said Baekhyun after scoffing.
“No one says no to me.” Chanyeol at this stage was enraged.
“Chanyeol-ahm let’s go.” Suggested Baekhyun patting on his friend’s back leaving you finally breathing out.
And that was the last time you saw or heard of any them, last time you saw of Baekhyun.
You graduated from highschool and moved to the city and that story was a childhood memory .You had a highschool crush with one of the amazing rich boys gang from back home.
Your law carrier was not going to plan, training for over 2 years wasn’t paying the bills. Your parents couldn’t keep supporting you, and at your age you felt ashamed as your dream was to be the provider after college finished. The dreams of a naive girl.
You decided to leave your dreams behind and be realistic, working as a barista wasn’t all bad, it was a job, it earned you money, you enjoyed it a lot and learned the art of it. You introduced the hand dripped coffee that earned you a lot of praising from your boss and your customers.
“Yes our barista ___ made the coffee.” You heard your co-worker say to a customer, you smiled to yourself as you poured the coffee.
“Are you ___?” Asked someone nodding your head working away, “your coffee is magnificent.”
“Thank you!” You said lifting your head from the cup to the customer.
It was none other than the guy nicknamed Xiumin, he looked even more impressive than 10 years ago, his hair shorter styled perfectly with some spikes at the front, wearing a very expensive looking suit, his eyes… same feline looking eyes from highschool years, it was disturbing that you remembered everything about him in such detail. You also recognised the other 2 guys that followed him, Chen that looked sleepy leaning his head on Xiumin’s shoulder, he looked much more built fitting his suit to perfection, his hair styled in a way giving a nice view of his glorious forehead, and the boyish looking LuHan munching on a muffin just as beautiful as 10 years ago.
“Your skills are amazing, would you consider delivering to our company? This is my business card, we will treat you good.”
“That’s for sure.” Said LuHan.
“Can we go now hyung, headache…” Whined Chen.
“Get him a double espresso shot, can you do that precious?” Asked Xiumin.
You dusted your apron and fixed your cap, your first day in this impressive corporation, Kim Minseok gave you the advantage to wonder freely in the last floor, as he said ‘your coffee is like no one else's’ you took pride in that statement and thank the heavens that he was a coffeeholic, this just meant coming more often, you had the faith that Baekhyun will make an appearance.
Before knocking the door to Xiumin’s office you heard your own heartbeats as you swallowed.
“Thank you for considering being part of this Baekhyun, please take a seat.”

Character Development : Description
BASICS
Full Name: terrence oberon yoon Nicknames: terry, “t” (lance usually calls him this), dumbass, asshole (both on more than a few occasions) Sex/Gender: male Right or Left: right Age: 21 (international) Height: 5′9 Eye Colour: dark brown Hair Colour: black Distinguishing Marks: a mole on his right cheek; scars across his left wrist; a small diagonal scar on his right temple from getting into a fight; a small, light birthmark on the left side of his chest, and a small, light, heart-shaped birth mark on his right hip bone. Paragraph Of Physical Traits: his skin is fair with golden undertones. his overall body type is slender, but toned from rotc training. he has soft features that people think make him look pretty, and broad shoulders that tells people he’s actually a man which especially helped when he grew his hair out. his arms are toned but still pretty skinny despite doing push-ups and playing basketball; his hair is an uneven dark bob with just as uneven bangs.
FAMILY/RELIGION
Parents: yoon sangchul (father, unemployed asshole alcoholic), alice han (estranged, former file clerk; he doesn’t know what she’s doing now) Siblings: five (5) - titania (tanya), 26, works a desk job her friend got here in the morning and as a bar waitress at night - lance, 23, web developer because he’s basically a genius, got a scholarship in one of the top universities - juliet (julie), 16, 10th grade, takes a lot of babysitting opportunities - tybalt (ty), 14, 8th grade psycho, usually helps julie babysit when their rundown house turns into a daycare every saturday  - robin (puck), 7, 1st grade, they love him Marital Status: single Significant Other/s: changes frequently (but who has time for commitment when you barely have time for yourself?) Children: none (unable to think about children when he’s already basically taking of three.) Other Relatives: an aunt who lives in chicago, a grandmother somewhere in northern california, an uncle in incheon (married with kids), grandparents in chuncheon Pets: none (can’t feed a family. obviously can’t feed a pet.) Friends: generally has a lot of friends because he’s way too outgoing and obnoxious for his and everyone’s own good; however, he’s picky when it comes to people he wants to keep a constant figure in his life. - bob kim (a barista from the usual cafe he goes to for coffee runs; he still wonders if that’s his real name; regardless, he still has a crush on bob) - sylvan carter (a barista from the same cafe; bob’s best friend and wingman; in love with terry, but terry doesn’t know nor does he care; terry likes him enough but can never get his name right.) - charlotte ‘charlie’ lee (his baby who he adores so much and will do anything for, including buying charlie cake with what’s left of his money) - aiden kwon (he’s only friends with aiden because aiden is friends with charlie; and also terry knows aiden likes charlie so there’s that.) - kiel sang (a non-blood related twin; both their existence essentially defies any known laws of metaphysics - but their whole relationship is something We Don’t Talk About) Enemies: gets into a lot of petty fist fights, but doesn’t really make lifelong enemies; he probably even fucked one of the people who beat him up at one point. Ethnicity: korean Religion: agnostic (or whatever) Beliefs: he believes in a higher being, but not necessarily a god. he thinks there are probably multiple gods out there making bets and just watching people get fucked over. he still prays sometimes, but he doesn’t tell anyone that. Superstitions: he sticks bills onto every mirror in the house during new year on the off chance that they can earn more money that year. julie and ty have been helping him for the last six years. it doesn’t hurt to try. that’s basically it. Diction/Accent: his southern californian accent is indistinguishable unless he says certain words. he’s also a better english speaker, so he often mispronounces korean words.
SCHOOL/WORK/HOME
Education: public school (primary and secondary); college: verse-dependent, on a cadet scholarship // kookmin university (achieved admission scholarship as a freshman) / santa barbara city college (under financial aid - federal work study) Degree(s): working on his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism Occupation: broadcasting student-intern for a tv & radio studio in the morning, mini-mart employee by afternoon night Own or Rent: own; his family owns their own borderline dilapidated house, originally owned by an aunt who moved to chicago. Living Space: cramped; it’s not small in its entirety, but with seven people living together in a two-story, two-bathroom (upstairs has a toilet and a shower, downstairs only has a toilet), four-bedroom house, it’s going to get pretty cramped. terry shares a bedroom with two brothers, lance and tybalt; julie shares a bedroom with their youngest, puck; tanya gets her own room because she damn well deserves it; their dad has his own room, but he’s never around so it’s basically an empty space with a bed. Work Space: the mini-mart isn’t a large place, but it does hold necessary items like basic consumable items and toiletries, which is why they have a lot regulars customers, mostly people who live nearby. the studio is a relatively large media conglomerate. his internship is in the main headquarters which houses multiple enterprises. Main Mode of Transport: walking because it’s free; sometimes the bus or subway if they can’t travel on foot; they steal unattended bikes or skateboards when they have to.
PSYCHOLOGY
Fears: failure, losing control, losing any one of his siblings Secrets: no one from his internship and workplace knows he has bipolar disorder or the fact that he’s gay; they keep illegal drugs at home; his family steals shit to survive. IQ: around 130 - typical for a post-graduate student. (fun fact: his older brother’s is around 160, go figure.) Eating Habits: quick eater because he’s always in a hurry, but not a messy one; sometimes eats on the go - he’ll stuff a piece of bread into his mouth anime style and run out the door to make it in time for class Food Preferences: he’ll basically eat anything aside from pickles (when you have no money, you can’t exactly choose what’s in front of you especially when you know your sister worked her ass off to put food on the table); he loves sweets, especially the hard butterscotch candy the mini-mart owners let him get for free. Sleeping Habits: usually sleeps on his stomach. at the end of most days, he just plops on the bed, exhausted. sometimes he forgets to change out of his jeans. when tanya checks up on them, she has to pull the covers over him. Book Preferences: contemporary classics (the little prince, a clockwork orange, the catcher in the rye, lolita, etc.), can quote shakespeare’s plays but prefers his poems, short stories because they’re quick to read since he doesn’t get much time to himself anymore. Music Preferences: alternative rock, indie rock, indie pop - basically music that pumps him up and keeps him awake. Groups or Alone: groups, mostly because he’s used to it, living with seven people and all. he’s also an extrovert, so he really doesn’t mind being around people. he doesn’t mind being alone every now and then, though. Leader or Follower: both. a follower - when tanya’s in, she’s in charge. he was in rotc, so he’s good with following directions. a leader - when tanya and lance are out, he’s in charge. when he was promoted in rotc, he was praised for being a good leader. Planner or Spontaneous: spontaneous. even his college major was a spontaneous, last-minute decision. he’s especially (dangerously) spontaneous when manic. Journal: used to have one - started multiple ones throughout the years - but never had the time and focus to actually fill one out completely; during junior year, his journal served as a mood diary (as suggested by a therapist). he managed to write on it for three months, and then just forgot about it. Hobbies: reading fiction novels, basketball, soccer, hanging out with his siblings, hanging out with kiel his friends, flirting with bob at the cafe, getting drunk, being an asshole. How Do They Relax: what is relaxation he’ll stay at home and read; he also reads a lot during idle hours at the mini-mart, especially if he takes a night shift. if he’s not too tired, he plays basketball. What Excites Them: seeing kiel almost everything excites him when he’s manic. coffee runs get exciting just because he gets to see bob. What Stresses Them: financial issues (but that’s an issue for their whole family),the possibility of not arriving on time and missing deadlines, not being able to earn enough money. Pet Peeves: slow walkers or people who tend to block the fucking way, especially when you’re in a hurry; people who can’t follow simple directions; people who are habitually late and end up making him late; people who take food from his plate without asking; loud whispering because i can fucking hear you; sudden shift in deadlines; simple grammatical errors. Prejudices: people with mental illness are dangerous and a hindrance (as a collective, despite his only experience being with his bipolar mom and alcoholic dad, hence why he refuses to believe he has the same problem). Attitudes: depends on his mood - manic, stable, depressive. when manic, he has no value for his life (and the law). lance had to force him off the roof once. when depressive, he can barely (or doesn’t) get out of bed. he overdosed once. when stable, his general outlook in life is optimistic - because what else can you do in this situation but hope? Obsessions: keeping things in order, getting enough money to feed the kids for a week, kiel Addictions: caffeine (mostly strong cheap-ass coffee, but they’re also stocked up on soda); alcohol and nicotine (not as bad. he smokes a lot, but he’s trying to keep both under control); does weed sometimes; isn’t really into hard drugs. that’s about it. Ambitions: join the marines (formerly), get into west point (on hold because tanya can’t stand the idea; lance is still trying to talk him out of it); else, he’ll apply for a job at the studio after graduation and work his ass off all the way to the top (from a lowly production assistant to scriptwriter/director/producer; hell, he’ll act if he has to; he’ll take what he can get).
OBJECTS KEPT IN
Purse/Bag: he has a messenger sling bag where he keeps his phone (a black nokia lumia his older brother passed on to him), a worn-out wallet with barely any money in it, a secondhand paperback novel, a pack of cigarettes. Wallet: money (or how much of it he has), an old photo of him and all his siblings (from when the youngest was only two years old), an old family photo tucked behind it, school ID, fake IDs Fridge: two milk jugs, a loaf of bread, cans of sodas, beer (lots of it) - that’s its usual content. Medicine Cabinet: mood stabilizers (lamictal), antipsychotics (abilify, zyprexa which he doesn’t use anymore because he overdosed once), aspirin, some pcp/angel dust that tanya doesn’t know about, and some weed lance hides that everyone knows about anyway Glove Compartment: he doesn’t have his own car but his dad’s glove compartment is filled with receipts, unopened letters (mostly bills), drugs, and money he spends in one go. Junk Drawer: literally junk, except he probably has a gun in there somewhere, and a pack of weed he shares with lance. Backpack: handwritten notes on yellow paper, photocopied pages from required textbooks, photocopied notes, scripts that need proofreading and editing, a secondhand novel that changes on a weekly basis, pens that are pretty much out of ink, a pack of cigarettes. Desk: journal (mood diary; just in case he feels like writing in it again), colored pens, pages from scripts he had to edit and proofread, a pack of cigarettes, the laptop he shares with everyone in the house. Clothes Pockets: loose change, mostly. a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and a few small bills stuffed into the pockets of his jeans.
OTHER
Halloween Costumes: would be easier if they can actually afford already-made costumes. the siblings used to come together to make costumes for julie, tybalt, and puck with whatever items they can salvage. their close neighbors help them out, too. now that they’re older, they just make one for puck. it’s fun for all of them. it’s something they look forward to yearly. Talents: creative writing, especially comedy writing (he doesn’t think so, but lance does); shooting hoops; shooting a pistol or rifle, and getting perfect aim almost every time; showing up at the last minute; balancing at least ten piping hot coffee cups at the same time; forgetting sylvan’s name; being an overall asshole (he’s the best at this) Politics: a liberal, but mostly neutral. he has other shit to worry about. Flaws: mental instability, addiction, pride, self-destructive tendencies, tactlessness, recklessness, impulsivity, always ready to throw punches, noncommittal (relationships) Strengths: fitness, aim (they were taught to shoot a gun in rotc), intellect (fast learner), wit, determination, creativity, resourcefulness, humor, humility, loyalty, never backs down from a fight. Drugs/Alcohol: a lot of alcohol, frequent drug use (mostly just marijuana; the last time he took pcp, he was manic and almost died from both mania and drug hallucinations), prescription drugs (mood stabilizers and antipsychotics he refuses to take). Passwords: phone: 0603 (it’s not a secret), e-mail: b!tch_y0u_th0ught1004 (tybalt has been trying to get into his e-mail even though he just uses it for work purposes); others: 060395 Prized Possessions: doesn’t really have one except for the photo of his siblings tucked in his wallet. Time and Place: february 22, 2016; 10:00pm; seoul, south korea // february 22, 2016; 5:00am; santa barbara, california. Special Places: the beach. the sound of the waves and the feeling of his toes buried beneath the sand relaxes him. back in santa barbara, his mom used to walk them to the beach every weekend because it was close by. Special Memories: when he got promoted from cadet to officer cadet in rotc. when he had chickenpox, tanya stayed up all night to take care of him. when lance first found out he was gay and confronted him. when he finally told tanya he was gay, and she said i know. during his first mood crash, julie would constantly check on him and bring food up to his room. when tybalt won first place during his first science fair. when puck took his first steps, and all five older siblings were there to witness it.

Relationships
I struggle with relationships. Not just in the dating sense, with friends as well. I have always struggled with this specifically, but it’s getting worse. I think it started with my family. Don’t get me wrong, I love my family. Especially now more than I ever have. My parents didn’t have the best relationship. They still struggle. I get it now, but when I was younger, it was hard. I was Daddy’s little girl. I looked up to him more than anything. Woke up at 5am just to watch him get ready for work. He worked a lot. And then, coached my brothers football and baseball. I was always jealous. I played soccer. He was not about it. I felt like I was always letting him down. I would have killed to play football. And wrestle. He loved being around those and everything else my brothers did. (even though my oldest brother isn’t even his child). I always did everything I could to try to impress him but, I always felt like I was failing. Then there was my mom. My mother grew up without a mom. She was the oldest of three, and had a hardcore dad. When i say my grampa was hardcore, I mean... I was actually scared of him until like, a year ago? I’m 27... She was the mom of the house for most of her life. She moved out when was 16 and moved into her fiance’s house. Yes, I said fiance... at 16. They didn’t get married, but she did get married at 19? and had a child. After living with her mom in Texas for a while. She got divorced young. Met my dad, got pregnant and got married. All by the age of 22. Her life has always been pretty difficult. I think when she had me, she was so freaking excited that she was having a girl. When I was little, she spent hours brushing my hair, putting curlers in it, painting my nails, picking out TERRIBLE outfits for me to wear. She was so excited to have a girl in her life. Which took me a long time to realize. I think she was extremely disappointed when she realized I hated all the girlie stuff. Me and my mom always had a strained relationship. With how she grew up, and how I just wanted to be another one of the boys, I think it made it really hard. And then, when she tried to be there for me... I wanted nothing to do with it. She tried to talk to me about my friends, how I felt about things... everything. I wanted to talk about nothing. She was angry. She still is. When life is a constant struggle, it makes it hard to smile sometimes. Growing up with both my parents, fighting constantly, was the worst. All of us, including my two brothers, all had anger issues. Although we were all “happy” and good kids, we did not know how to express ourselves correctly. My brothers and I didn’t really have great examples for it. My parents were always yelling. All the time. I used to go down to the basement with my brothers and cry while they tried to be there for me. It wasn’t fun. I started to resent my dad. My mom... she kinda turned to me when she needed to vent. It was not a good situation. I started to resent my dad. Like really, really resent him.
I always had friends growing up. Especially the kids around my neighborhood. We hung out almost every day. Pretty much all of them were guys. It was a freaking blast. We lived on a big dead end circle. Played football, wiffle ball, basketball, man hunt, street hockey, biked, scootered, skateboarded. It was amazing. But I struggled when I got mad. Or felt left out. I know now that it started to not be enjoyable to be around me. This ended up happening with a lot of my friendships. And didn’t stop there. I had my stupid little boyfriends in elementary and middle school. Eventually, I would start questioning myself though. Never felt like the pretty, popular girl. Always felt like I was almost the girl but never actually good enough. It continued to make me struggle and put a strain on all of my relationships. In middle school, I started to realize, I wasn’t into a lot of the things the girls in my class were. We would go to the mall together and they would want to buy thongs. I would buy them, but I hated them. HATED. Along with all the other girl things. I stopped trying to fit in so much. Started wearing converse. Listening to the music I wanted to listen to. Dressed more punk. The girls I thought were my friends started to make fun of me. I still went out of my way to try to impress people. In other ways. I bent over backwards for people.
Come high school, I was taking notes for guys in class. They would talk to me about their problems with their girlfriends. High school, kinda sucked. Had a few not so actual boyfriends. But was really mostly the kinda friend when it was convenient  for people. I had 2 best friends in my hometown. Most of my really close friends were from the camp I went to since I was 7 every summer. They weren’t always easy to see. Traveling to them kinda sucked.
Once I left high school, I went to college in Arkansas. I was so excited to start over. I was getting attention from everyone. Had so many friends. Then, I started to make bad decisions. Met a local guy from town... and he was involved in some things. Then I started dating his best friend. He was a huge drug dealer. But he gave me the most attention from anyone I’ve ever gotten. He even bought me a puppy for my birthday. I said fuck you to my family, my best friends from back home.... it was terrible. Got into drugs. Stopped going to class. Moved in with him. I was around things I never thought I could ever be involved in. We got arrested. Placed at an armed robbery. After hours of being interrogated, I finally caved. The cops tricked me to turn on him. If I didn’t think things were bad before this situation (even though I still loved him), they turned terrible. He started beating me. Cheating on me every chance he would get, disappear for days at a time. One time he even pulled his AK47 semi-automatic banana clip gun on me. Literally laying there crying while he yelled at me and threatened me. That night, his cousin told me I deserved better. He tried to hit on me. So even though he was just telling me I deserved better so he could get in my pants... I decided I had enough. Called my parents and told them to buy me a ticket home. I needed out.
This was just the beginning. I went on a downward spiral. Always picked the bad guys. Always fucked up with friends, because well, I sucked. And the worst part? Continued doing drugs. My capability to have a functioning relationship was at this point... impossible. I trusted no one. A lot of times, I subconsciously screwed it up on purpose, just so I didn’t get hurt first. I still got hurt constantly. I bent over backwards for every guy still. Got excessively angry every time I felt like I wasn’t being appreciated.
I had two boyfriends that were really good friends of mine for a while before we started dating. It was a huge mistake. I was a mess. And so were they. One was an alcoholic. One was a recovering heroin addict.
The alcoholic, I dated for 2 years. We fought all the time. Including in front of friends. At parties, in the house that we lived in with a bunch of friends, it was a hot mess. We started becoming abusive with each other. Eventually the cops got called on us by one of our neighbors. We both got arrested. Got forced to take drug and alcohol classes by the state. We both moved home, into my parents house, together. I don’t have any idea why we thought it was still a good idea to be together. We had problems. My parents even said we needed to stop drinking so much. I told him he needed to move to his parents house. Eventually the way he treated me, I just completely stopped caring. I was distant. One day, he was calling me every 5 minutes crying and I just ended it.
The heroin addict... apparently had been wanting to date me for 3 years. I had no idea. When I first met him he had been sober for a year. When we finally started hanging out a LOT more, it finally came out. I was beginning to have a crush on him when he told me. He had relapsed a while back, but I didn’t see anything wrong with it. And partied with him and our best friend all the time. We fell in love fast. He finally decided he wanted to get clean. I was buying him suboxin all the time. He was coming to my job to get it because he couldn’t keep a steady job. Especially that paid well enough to cover his drug habit. I babied the shit out of him. When his parents accused him of using drugs again, I convinced my parents he needed to move in. I sat with him and held him during all his detoxing. As this was going on, I found out my alcoholic ex, was posting pictures of me online. And my phone number with it. I was starting to get harassed. A lot. He started getting pissed. We fought constantly. He finally moved back in with his parents. One night, me and my parents got into a huge fight. Me and my mom got physical. Then my dad grabbed me and threw me against a wall. My ex’s parents loved me. They let me move in. When things were good between us, things were fucking amazing. I miss those amazing times still. When things were bad though... they were bad. I was still always there for him. He was still struggling with his drug use. One time, after we fought about pictures and my past... he went out and did a shit ton of heroin. I saw his truck at one point but not him. Waited a while... then I started looking around the house. Finally I found him in his truck. Passed out and blue in the face, he was ODing. I tried to pull him out of his truck... but he weighed 2x what I did. I ran in to get his dad and had to beg him to help me. Both of his parents were done with his drug problems. He had put them through a lot. He finally came out and helped me pull him out... then he walked back inside. I called 911 and they talked me through giving him CPR while I was panicking and crying until the ambulance got there. We started going to AA together after that. My drinking had gotten pretty bad, and him almost dying... ya know. Things were still bad, but for a bit... things were going pretty well. Then we decided to move across the country. Connecticut to Oregon. My brother and sister in law were there and they invited us to move in until we could figure things out. We thought a change of where we were would help us move forward. Instead issues got worse and worse. He got kicked out of my brothers. We still were together. He went back to rehab. Found out he was bipolar. I was getting calls saying he was seeing people in his room at all hours of the night right before rehab. Cops were getting called on the regular. I thought he was gunna kill himself, a lot. Finally after a long time, even though our shit was still pretty fucked because of all the stuff we put each other through... things started to get way better. When he was done with his program, we decided to live together again. Things were good for a bit. Then they weren’t. Eventually, he relapsed again. His friend and our roommate found black heroin smudges all over the bathroom. I had noticed some money being taken out of my account. I had 3 jobs at the time, was supporting both of us, and going to school full time. My life was crazy. I told him he had one more chance after a huge fight. It happened again. And a bunch of my stuff was missing. We were broken up and still living together. I would have to lock my doors to my room. Had a safe to lock money in. Finally one night I said to get out. Even packed his stuff. I was done. He terrorized me for a long time after. Even though he stole over 3000 dollars, including all the items he had taken to the pawn shop, everything was my fault. Yes I was crazy, and didn’t treat him the greatest all the time, with my anger issues and all, but holy shit THIS WAS CRAZY.
Since then, I’ve dated 2 guys since. Not boyfriends. The first one, I was at his beck and call. I would completely change my schedule to hang out with him. I was desperate for his attention. I got pregnant. I of course wasn’t ready for that. And he wanted nothing to do with it. I was working a lot and still going to school so I had one day to take the pill when you’re supposed to do the first pill one day, and the second one the next day. I just took them both and went with it. I was ashamed about getting an abortion. I felt terrible about it. I just assumed it worked. Later on, I went home for my brothers wedding a few months later. I was still over weight... but I wasn’t sure what the protocol was of losing the baby fat after an abortion. When I got back to Oregon, I found out I was still pregnant. 5 months pregnant. I went to the doctor and I had days to get rid of it before it was too late. I started to think that this was a sign, that I should keep the baby. But when you take the pill to get rid of a baby, it most likely will cause defects. Since I’m already diabetic, and have bad family health history... I was super scared. I went through with it. I felt like I had too. I broke down and things... well fell apart between me and him.
Now I’m seeing this guy.... we were friends for a few months. Met him through a coworker. Found out he had a heroin problem at one point and used to party a lot. I wasn’t interested in dating him at all. But we had fun when we hung out. My coworker and I had a falling out. And so did this guy and him. We started hanging out alone after that. We were still just friends. Eventually, it happened. We kissed. It turned into more. But, I kinda just thought we were friends that were hooking up. We both went home for the holidays. Things seemed really good with us. When I got back, I kinda decided I was looking for more than just hooking up. I told him at one point. Apparently, he had thought it was more the entire time. I was pretty excited. I thought I could trust him and we really could just take our time with being a couple and just enjoy it. But as of late, he’s been acting a little strange. Different in my opinion. But with all my issues from the past, I don’t know a good way to talk about it, in a healthy way. I’m starting to not trust him and taking out a little bit of my issues on him. I’m afraid, yet again I’m ruining it.
HOW DO PEOPLE FIGURE THIS SHIT OUT?! I’m struggling hard. I really like this guy. I need to figure out relationships. Although this is the healthiest one I’ve had.... maybe ever... I still want to be better. Being an adult is hard. Actually, just being a human is. I continue to keep asking myself if I’m good enough. I continue to not be able to trust people. I don’t know how to fix thing. I don’t know how to really move on from my past. How do I learn to have a functioning relationship? What’s wrong with me?!
(by the way, this isn’t just a story, this is my life... crazy I know.)
