We all have a need for certainty but if you overvalue it like anything else it will create havoc in your life. I am definitely a creature of habit and when I get thrown off my rhythm, I can get crabby. It is in those moments that I bring myself back because I know there truly is no certainty. Can you repeat the same day, the answer is no. Even if you did the exact same thing, you would not have the same interactions because you cannot control other people. It is foolish to think you that you control someone else because that would mean you can be controlled. Isn't it true that in order for you to be controlled you would have to give up your control? Since you would have to give up your control then someone else can't control you. As I said earlier, we all have a need to feel certain. Some people try to meet that need by controlling their surroundings. This is a futile plan because the only thing you can control is you. An empowering way to feel certain is to realize that nothing is certain, you can be certain of that. With this realization, you now cannot be thrown for a loop when things don't go the way you need them to in order to stay in control.
