Lovelies, I took my kiddos to Trunk or Treat yesterday at their school and one of the cars had kids pick out a treat AND a book to keep. Totally a librarian!Bucky move (and have to once again share this beautiful Nix edit.)

Honestly everything surrounding the hate against trunk or treating this year really threw me off.. like as a kid I thought it was a really dumb idea but ever since I become disabled it's like... this is a really good alternative

Like obviously I don't think it should completely replace trick or treating, but I think trunk or treating should have its own place in celebrating Halloween. Like, it can be a good alternative to some kids / teens that aren't able to handle long distances and etc, so why are we bashing on it exactly??

Sorry it took me a while to answer this, but as of right now... t i r e d .

Doing alright, but very tired from work.

To explain my lack of activity on Tumblr, basically I've been hanging out on Discord more often with really cool friends (hey @sneklover!!!), battling some mental issues including art block, and also in the process of making yet another project for this year's Halloween!

Unfortunately, the last attempt at making another Trunk or Treat project didn't work so I'm making up for it this year. This year's theme for my Trunk or Treat project is: Widows. 🕷️🕸️👵👴🏚️

Widows is not my idea - it's actually one of two brand new haunted houses/mazes located in Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California. The story behind this maze is that you are entering a decrepit convalescent home where demonic spiders have erupted from the underground and are taking over the withering bodies of the residents. The fact that I'm making my project inspired by Widows is very ironic considering that I'm actually an arachnophobe, but hopefully doing this will somewhat cure my fear of spiders.

So there is a Trunk of Treating event happening at the school I work for. Would it be crazy if I volunteered to set up a Wild Kratts Trunk? And I dressed like Zach to hand out the treats?
