beautiful girl (stay with me) | jake 'hangman' seresin
summary: the three lit jack-o-lanterns in their bay window shouldn't have been the lightscape to their sweetest, purest intimate moments, but hey, what happens on halloween stays on halloween.
pairing: jake 'hangman' seresin x girlfriend! reader
warnings: 18+ only, smut ahead! jake is a tender lover, fight god, not me, for he made the man and his mother raised him well!! sex on a couch. could be considered slightly exhibitonist but i dont really think so. two people in love wanting to make each other feel good.
author's note: i know this makes it two jake fics in one collection....but i saw this prompt and literally no drivers came to mind??? i feel real burned out with f1 right now and part of my rebrand is to establish myself as a writer for other fandoms that i enjoy, even though i know that f1 will always be my ride or die <3
as the last of the nights trick-or-treaters (this group mostly rambunctious high school students trying to make the most out of their last eligible free candy year, she guessed) descended down the interlock driveway, past jake's pickup truck and around her petite volkswagen, she began to bring the pumpkins inside, setting them down in her bay window. jake had already drawn the drapes, and was all to ready to lock the door.
they were barely able to go ten minutes along in their movie before the doorbells rang to interrupt, and while it irked them both greatly, y/n was more than happy to hand out little bars of twix and mars and kitkat to the neigbourhood children.
"they're gone." she said softly, fighting a yawn as her eyes found the little digital clock next to the flat screen television. "they stayed out later this year. weren't we finished by ten last year?"
jake rose from the couch, wrapping his beefy, warm arms around his girlfriend and holding her close, swaying softly from side to side. "they're getting smarter. when i was that age, i knew that the later i came, the better my chances of getting to run off with the whole bowl of chocolate were."
"so what i'm hearing is that you never stopped being a menace?" she laughed, lightly scratching the back of his neck with the tips of her press on nails. they were designed to look like blood dripping down her fingernails, but it had been a fight to keep them on all night.
"oh, babe, i've always been a menace." jake grinned, leaning in to kiss her softly.
call him insane, but fall always turned jake seresin into a sappy man. something about the way that the leaves changed color and his girlfriend looked cute in scarves and plaid.
"you look radiant this evening."
she raised her eyebrows. "i'm wearing beetlejuice pajama pants and a crop top with no bra, there's a zit on my chin and i only brushed my hair once today."
grinning, jake kissed her forehead before cupping her face in one of his large hands. "you always look radiant to me, y/n."
"you're such a sap"
"only for you, darlin'."
he kissed her again, broad smiles on their faces as he took her bottom lips in his, hands trailing over the fluffy material of her pants in order to sturdily grip her thighs and lift her into the air. she laughed into the kiss as he spun them around, his arms tucked behind her thighs to keep her in midair as he strode towards the couch, gently placing her down among the mountain of halloween pillows that were strewn across the furniture. a pumpkin shaped pillow from ikea found it's way behind her head, providing skull support while she stared lovingly into jake's blue-green eyes.
"i love you." he breathed, resting his forehead against hers. "happy halloween, beautiful girl."
"i love you too, jake." she giggled, pulling him in for a kiss. "happy halloween, my love."
with every kiss, she felt herself sinking further into the plush couch, jake's body gently rubbing against hers. her legs falling open, allowing the pilot to settle between her thighs. his touch was warm and comforting, and the living room had become quite the sensual environment: the dim lighting allowed the three pumpkins that were still lit to glow brightly from their place next to the bay window, and the orange fairy lights rimming the tv stand blinked calmly in the distance. the end credits of 'halloween ends' played soothingly in the background, 'don't fear the reaper' filling the space.
he nuzzled her neck, the cold tip of his nose sending shivers along her skin.
"how did i get so lucky?" he murmured, softly kissing her pulse point, one arm curling under her back and around her waist. "you are my everything."
she keened into his touch, back arching as she let out a heady moan.
"keep it coming, pretty girl. you know i love to hear it when i make you feel good."
his hands slipped underneath the waistband of her pants, strong hands tracing the outline of her festive panties.
black with orange jack-o-lanterns, if you must know.
"jake." she giggled, squirming under his touch. "baby, your hands are so cold."
jake winked at her. "i think i can fix that." he slid off the couch, striding over to the armchair by the flat screen, grabbing the tv remote from the coffee table on his way, switching the channel from the movie they had just finished to a stingray station playing soft rock. he grabbed the plush blanket from the back of the chair, stripping out of his t-shirt and moving back to the couch, footsteps heavy with purpose.
kicking off his slippers, he returned to his rightful place between his lovers legs, now bare as she dropped her velveteen pants to the hardwood floor. he unfolded the blanket pulling it around their bodies and over their shoulders.
his bare chest was warm against her clothed one, her nipples popping up underneath the ribbed fabric and standing to attention.
"better?"
"much."
"good." he spoke softly, brushing her hair out of her face before bending to kiss her again. one hand skirted over and up her thigh before deftly pushing aside the seat of her panties.
his ministrations were gentle, toying with her entrance. she giggled, squirming at the sensation when he slipped his pointer finger inside.
"atta girl. don't get shy on me, baby. i wanna see you."
there was a faint blush on her cheeks, her arms coming up to loop around his neck. her breathing was heavy as his finger darted up towards her g-spot, eliciting a small moan from the woman underneath him.
"feelin' good, sugar?"
"very." she beamed, leaning up to kiss him, hips canting towards his knuckles.
he kissed her forehead, eyes scanning her face and committing every detail to memory: the faint blush, the sweat beginning to form on her hairline. that sexy part of her lips, the steady rise and fall of her chest.
jake seresin was in love, truly madly and deeply.
"are you ready for me, princess?"
"always" she hummed, fingers brushing through his hair. "make me feel good, lieutenant."
jake smirked. "i will never ever get tired of hearing you call me that. just so you know."
"good." she beamed, leaning up to kiss him. "because i'm never going to get tired of saying it."
still kissing her softly, jake reached under the blanket, under his plaid flannel pants, pushing them down messily until they were gathered around his ankles and driving him absolutely mad with the thought that he would have to stop showering his girlfriend with love and attention in order to properly take them off (so obviously, he just decided to let them keep annoying him), so he could withdraw his aching member.
her thighs were coated in her slick juices, spilt everywhere from how messily jake had been fingering her and covering the seat of her panties. they were sticky and slick at the same time as jake pulled them down her legs, offhandedly casting them over his shoulder, where they landed on the arm of the couch with a wet thump.
he only teased her a little bit, rubbing the head of his cock over her entrance a few times before sliding in gently. her body welcomed him, fitting around him like a glove. she gasped in pleasure, arms tightening to pull him closer as her legs slid up his body and over his torso, her slightly dry toes caressing his spine as she settled in against him.
he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, mentally counting to ten. "my god, darling. you feel fucking incredible around me. this right here, this is my happy place. just you and me, skin to skin."
she laughed softly, thumb caressing his cheek. he keened under her touch, nuzzling deeper into her hand.
god, he could be such a softie sometimes.
"need a minute, tough guy?"
"i always need a minute, babe. you just feel so good that if i don't collect myself, this won't last very long."
his thrusts were slow and gentle, but deep as he filled every part of her, taking his time to make sure she felt as good as possible. he pushed her legs higher up his body, adjusting the angle in a way that rewarded him with a moan of his name.
"jake, oh god." she moaned, tugging gently on his hair. "you feel so good, baby. making me feel incredible."
"that's my sweet girl." jake smiled, kissing her neck as his hands massaged her thighs, hips still moving slowly, but with force and purpose. he could feel sweat dripping down his blonde locks of hair, falling, falling, falling to his lover's shirt, soaking into the fabric.
the plush blanket would soon feel too warm, body temperatures rising as he rocked into her. her fingernails scratched at the skin on his neck, moans exchanged into heated kisses as her hips canted upwards, trying to meet his thrusts.
"atta girl. take what you need from me, darling. that's what i'm fucking here for. to make you feel so so good." jake growled, nipping at her bottom lip. "i fucking live for it."
neither of them were quite sure how much time they spent on the couch that halloween night, baptizing it in their love. somewhere along the line, they lost the blanket, and jake was finally able to kick his pants off all the way.
and once they were certain nobody was outside and could peer in, they shifted positions, jake's back against the couch with yn perched on top of his lap like some kind of angel, her head pulled back as she whined, little ah, ah, ah's that made him feel weak in the knees while she rode him slowly, his hands placed gently on her hips to guide her.
"fuck, jake." she moaned, fingers trailing down to play with her clit. "i think i'm gonna come."
jake sat up straighter, pulling her body closer to his, pressing his naked form against hers, holding her tightly as he started to grind against her, his movements meeting hers.
"atta girl. almost there, come on baby. i've got you. jake's got you." he coaxed and cooed, doing his best to get her there.
she gasped, burying her face in his neck as she felt the feeling start to overwhelm her, the band in her stomach snapping. she moaned his name, almost falling limp in his arms as his fingers took over her movements, easing her through it to the best of his ability, feeling her release wash over his thighs. he came with a small groan and a curse, gently thrusting his hips up and allowing himself to spill inside of her.
god, he could get high off this feeling. (and it had taken them a while to get there, conversations riddled with little anxieties before she had agreed to let jake hit it raw, something he vowed never to take for granted. because her trust and her comfort meant everything to him.)
they kissed softly, a silhouette in the moonlight and the soft pumpkin glow, his thumbs gently drawing shapes on her skin. "hey pretty girl, why don't we go have a quick soak in the tub, i'll spot clean the couch, and then we curl up in bed and cuddle for a bit?"
she beamed, curling up against him. he was still technically inside her, which was slightly awkward now that his dick had softened, but he still wouldn't trade this soft moment of intimacy and love for anything.
"sounds magical."
yeah, this was definitely jake's best halloween ever.

MACK HEADCANONS PLZZZ
OF COURSE!!
mack is seriously one of my favourite side characters. i literally adore him SO much
- i think mack has like. 5 sisters. and hes the oldest and only boy of all of the siblings. this is a hc roe and i have had for a while, he just has such oldest brother of the family vibes but also like hes so gentle as if he grew up with sisters. i can imagine him, 17, the second oldest being somewhere around 11 or 12, and theyve convinced him to bake cupcakes with him. hes got his mothers pink apron on, hes doing all the work, while his sisters are hanging off of him and playing with their toys all over the kitchen floor. he couldnt bake for shit, but anything for his baby sisters
- adding onto above, i dont think he did too much in school. his mother worked two jobs and his father was away a lot on business trips, so he very willingly and very happily took care of his younger sisters 24/7. and im not saying his parents were neglectful - not at all. i think his parents worked hard to take them on trips and keep them afloat. the did family trips as many times a year as they had the chance to and their parents made sure the kids knew they were loved.
- AMAZING driver. hes been driving since he was young, and he can maneuver his hauler better than most other drivers. both his parents contributed to teaching him how to drive, and they both gave him their separate tips and tricks, so he is quite literally the collective bunch of his parents driving habits all in one.
- he left to work for rusteze as a truck driver when he was around 22/23, when the second oldest sibling was old enough to hold down the fort. a lot of his extra cash went to his family back home, but he stayed on the road.
- not too interested in relationships, he’s always been kind of held down and its nothing against his family but now he likes the freedom of home being on the road
- his truck (1985 mack superliner) was his grandfathers cab. he bought it brand new and never used it much, trucking ran in his family (even his father was a trucker before he met macks mother and settled down), so his grandfather gave him the cab for free as a gift one year and he’s used it and kept it in tip-top shape ever since
- lightning is like that little brother he never had. he found the kid at a truck stop, a distressed fifteen year old looking to get out of town (he was running away from home) and saved him from getting his shit rocked by some pissed off old guy because he’d asked for two dollars for chips and the guy took a personal offence to it. mack literally felt sick at the idea that this kid was out this far from the city alone. lightning had WALKED from henderson to vegas to see the race, and then just decided he wasnt going home. mack was so heartbroken because the thought of one of his sisters ever being in the situation that this kid is in right now made his stomach churn. the kid had begged to go with him, and mack felt so guilty he said yes. he initially tried to take the kid somewhere safe, like a home for kids or something, but lightning was quite content to stay, and it felt like having a little brother around and it was Different (mack checked the news every day for any missing child reports and Nobody reported lightning missing. it literally destroyed mack emotionally because How do u not report ur own child missing when he leaves and doesnt return.)
- his truck has bunk beds since its a sleeper cab and he let lightning decorate his bunk with posters and those glow in the dark stars and literally anything the kid wanted he could plaster on the walls and mack did not care. this also included a bunch of stickers, because oh Lord that boy is obsessed with little stickers
- mack had no idea how to bond with lightning considering he himself had grown up being forced to play barbies with his little sisters (they would try to make him be evil ken but then they’d get mad because he was too nice. he got to play as the dollhouse dog instead) whereas lightning grew up with Nothing. lightning didnt really know how to interact with toys without feeling ridiculous because he’d been conditioned to believe toys were for Babies. mack eventually gave up trying to guess what lightning liked and just took him to a toys r us, where lightning Immediately found a stuffed dinosaur he liked and got like 2 hot wheels cars and then proceeded to profusely apologize for wasting macks money on such stupid stuff. mack did not give af, as long as his little brother was happy he was ok
- he gave lightning his first ever hug. before that not a Single person had ever hugged that child and mack was so sad to learn it because how do parents go 15 years without ever hugging ur own flesh and blood
- he taught lightning how to drive in a field with the truck during break days, and realized the kid’s potential and signed him up for late model stock races after a bit of talking. rusty and dusty also took an interest in racing at this point, and allowed mack to carry the kids late model stock car in the truck (they figured out a way for him to get both product and the car in the truck, and conveniently every delivery was for the city lightnings next race was in)
- hes kept all of lightnings late model stock trophies, the kid was a real good winner even back then and he’s even got photos that photographers had taken of the wins when little 15 year old lightning mcqueen was standing on the roof of his car holding his trophy above his head with the biggest smile in the world plastered on his face (those wins were like the proudest big brother moments ever until he got into the piston cup)
- hes a MASSIVE harv hater but hes too nice to say it. when doc starts expressing his own dislike for harv, mack starts talking to him about it and they bond over the fact they hate that man so fucking much that they end up managing to get him fired
- during the piston cup off season he goes back to delivering product for rusteze
- even though lightnings older now he still sees him as a younger brother
i think this is it.. THANK U FOR THE ASK!!! i love talking about mack :3
#cars 2006#cars fandom#lightning mcqueen#pixar cars#cars headcanons#memory’s headcanons#cars 3 (2017)#doc hudson#mack cars#like u cant tell me mack isnt older brother coded#theres no other dynamic#hes just so big brother its so sweet#him giving lightning his first ever hug makes me Violent like why did no one ever hug him before#my favourite siblings :(

Three's Company
Pairing: Sam Winchester & GN! Reader, Dean Winchester & GN! Reader
Summary:
Sure, hunting solo had its perks. Not needing to watchout for someone else, only needing to bed and feed one person, no arguing about plans…etc. But it also had its cons. No one to bounce ideas off of, doing all the research yourself, no one to watchout for you.
So, after a particularly… difficult hunt, you call up the brothers and ask to tag along.
Authors Note: This was cross posted on AO3
TW: This contains the mention of past rape and abuse. it doesn't go into detail but please read responsibly
A few years ago, you had met the Winchester brothers while resting at Ellen’s bar. They were in town following a rough hunt and had struck up a conversation with you. You had talked with them almost all night, trading stories, tips and tricks, and knowledge. It was one of the nicest nights you had had in a very long time.
And that brings you to today, leaning against Baby’s trunk with Sam, waiting on Dean as he pays for your lodgings for the foreseeable future. The three of you were tracking down a vampire nest that had been killing people in groups of three before moving towns. Dean had managed to narrow down the town they would be hitting up next, so long as they kept with their current pattern, and you were now in the middle of a run down, small town, in the middle of practically nowhere.
“Alright!” Dean said, slapping a room key into Sam's hand. “ They had two rooms open, and since yours truly cracked the code,” He pointed to himself with his thumbs, “I get the solo room. But don't worry, I got y’all separate beds. You’re welcome!”
You rolled your eyes at the oldest brother as you grabbed your bag and followed Sam, who had muttered a few choice words at Dean while grabbing his own bag, to your room.
Squeezing your way past Sam, you place your bags on the bed farthest from the door. “Dibs! Snooze ya loose Sammy!” you declare, turning to your roommate.
Sam laughed, quick and short, “You know.. You’re starting to sound like Dean,” He said, feigning annoyance. You shrugged your shoulders in response and poked your tongue out at him. Turning to your bag, you grabbed out your laptop.
“Im gonna do some more digging, See if I can find out where or who they might hit next.” Sam nodded as you made yourself comfortable on your bed.
And that’s where you stayed for several hours… until a bar a couple miles east of the motel started popping up on a local facebook page you had been monitoring.
“Sam.. I think I got something,” you said. Turning the laptop around to show him the screen, “Apparently, a group of guys have been staking out the building.. Could be nothing, but it matches the others.”
Sam furrowed his brows, reading through the various posts about the group, before nodding slightly to himself and looking up over the laptop screen at you, “Let’s get Dean.”
“This the place?” Dean asked, pulling into a parking spot in the back of the lot.
You nodded, humming in response as you sat forward in the back seat. Pointing at an old pickup truck across the parking lot. “Over there. That’s the group people were posting about.”
There were several men standing near the truck. Some were leaning on it while others walked around a little, checking the area as they went. One man sat in the driver's seat, drumming on the wheel as if he was nervous. You squint your eyes, trying to get a better view of some of their faces. When one of the men walks close enough to a street light you can see the details of his face. You gasp softly as your blood runs cold. His greasy hair is slicked back and he hasn’t shaved in a few days. His clothes are well loved and overworn. And his sharp eyes are staring right at the impala… like he can see you, sitting there, watching him. You swallow the lump that's formed in your throat.
“This is them.” You manage. “This is the nest. I’m sure of it.” You're not sure if your voice is shaking or not. You hope it isn’t.
“Alright, let’s smoke these bastards.” Dean says, his hand is already on the door handle and he’s about to step out when you yell out, “No!”
Dean and Sam whip their heads around to look at you. Sam’s eyes are questioning and concerned, while Deans are startled.
You clear your throat, “There are too many people around.. To many potential witnesses or accidental victims.. We should wait..”
Dean is about to argue, his mouth is open and you can practically see the words about to come out, but Sam speaks first.
“Y/N is right.. We should wait till they’re hiding out.” Sam says, his eyes keep shifting between you and his brother.
“If we wait, people will die. More people, Sammy. We need to act now, kill these sons of bitches before they hurt someone else.” Dean argued.
“Listen Dean… chances are they won’t get anyone tonight. People are freaked out by them hanging around.. No one is gonna be leaving on their own.. Not now.” Sam responded. He and Dean had a silent conversation, staring at each other for a few agonizing minutes before Sam must have won. Dean grumbled, cursing under his breath before driving out of the lot. You took one last look at the man as you drove away and you could swear that he was smiling at you.
As you arrived back at the motel, Dean kicked you and Sam out of the impala mentioning something about needing a drink and driving off. You and Sam got back into your shared room and started getting ready for bed.
“What happened back there Y/N?” Sam asked, just as you were climbing into your bed.
“What do you mean? There were too many variables, Sam… you know that.” You said.
“No, Y/N, you said they were the vamps we’ve been tracking. You were sure of it… How?”
You froze, “I.. I um… recognized one.” You stuttered. “From a hunt I did, while back.. Fucker must’ve gotten away.” It wasn’t a lie. But it wasn’t the truth.
You settled into bed, facing away from Sam as you pulled the covers up under your chin. “Night,”
“Yeah… night,” Sam said quietly.
You woke up frantic. Bolting up in bed with the pistol you keep under your pillow pointed directly at Sam.
“Whoa! Y/N! It’s me. It’s Sam!” His hands were up defensively and he spoke calmly. “You’re okay.. You’re in the motel…” His eyes were soft, “Can I have the gun?”
Sam was already slowly removing the gun from your hands by the time you nodded. He got up from where he was kneeling next to your bed and placed the gun on the small dining table. When he returned, You had your knees pulled up to your chest and you were staring straight ahead, your eyes were blank and unfocused. Sam sat on the edge of your bed and slowly placed one of his warm hands over top of yours where they were clasped in front of your legs.
“Y/N?” He asked in a whisper. “Hey, you okay?” Sam's eyebrows were furrowed in concern. You didn’t answer right away. And despite Sam practically sitting directly in front of you, your eyes seemed to be looking right through him. Like you didn’t realize he was there.
You blinked a few times, trying to clear away the tears that had welled in them, before you took a shaky breath and tried to clear your throat but choked on a sob instead. You dissolved into sobs, trying to curl into yourself but Sam pulled you into him. He rubbed your back as you clung on to him like a lifeline. Your tears soaked his neck and the shoulder of his sleep shirt as Sam whispered little encouragements and promises of safety.
“You’re okay… You’re safe.”
You cried for what felt like hours before finally calming to just the occasional sniffle. You pulled back, rubbing your eyes with the palm of your hand. “Sorry…”
“Don’t be…” Sam said softly, “Do you wanna talk about it?”
You sighed heavily, “Not really.” Sam nodded understandingly. “But… I don’t think I can go on like this anymore…” You thought for a moment, “Before.. Before I tell you, I need you to promise me something..”
“Yeah… okay,” Sam said, he was holding your hand again.
“Don’t tell anyone… not Dean, Ellen, Bobby… Nobody.” You inhaled sharply, clenching and unclenching your jaw a few times. “If I want them to know I’ll tell them..” You said the last part softer, almost in a whisper.
“I won’t.” Sam replied seriously. “I promise.”
You swallowed the lump in your throat. Taking in a deep breath, you opened up to Sam.
“It was that vamp… at the bar tonight…” You started.
“The last hunt I did solo… I was hunting a nest of vamps in Montana, normal run-of-the-mill type shit. After a couple of days, I managed to find their hideout… so I waited until day and snuck in while they were sleeping.” You paused, biting your lip as the memories came back. “I didn’t know if they had any captives in there or not.. And I didn’t even know for certain how many were in there. I should have waited… done more digging, but I didn’t. I know it was stupid… but I thought that if I waited.. If I didn’t act then and there, that more people would die… or that they would catch wind of me and skip town.”
Sam’s hand tightened around yours reassuringly.
“While I looked for anyone they might have had captive, I didn’t notice that a few of them woke up… They overpowered me..” Your voice cracked as fresh tears began to streak your face.
“What happened..?” Sam whispered, His own eyes appeared wet.
“What didn’t…” You supplied. “They kept me. For months… they fed off of me, draining me until I was sure that I would die, before stopping. They…they gave me just barely enough food and water to live but not enough to get any strength back…” You shuddered at the memory. “I was kept chained to a wall… sometimes.. If they were bored… they’d unchain me.. Let me run, see how far I could get before they caught me… I never made it far… I was too weak.”
Sam sucked in a breath between his teeth, clenching his jaw.
“The worst part of it… There was an unmated vamp… sometimes..he would… he..” You trailed off, the words getting stuck in your throat.
“You don’t have to continue.. Y/N,” Sam's eyes were a storm of emotion: anger, sadness, and sympathy all apparent when you looked into them.
You shook your head.. “He raped me… Sam… this, all of this went on for months. I finally managed to escape, to this day I don’t know how… but I did. I found my way to Ellens. She didn’t say or ask anything… but I think she picked up on something… the next thing I knew she had me wrapped up in a warm blanket telling me that the nest had been taken care of…”
“I'm so sorry, Y/N…” Sam’s mouth opened and closed a few times, trying to figure out what to say next.
“It’s not your fault… it isn’t anybody's fault but my own. I shouldn’t have gone in alone and unprepared..” You cut him off.
He gently placed his hands on either side of your face, using his thumbs to wipe away the tears still falling from your eyes. “Don’t say that… You couldn’t have known what would happen.. The important thing is that you lived.”
“The vamp I recognized… he was the one that used me.. I don’t know how, but that bastard managed to escape and find a new nest..”
“I’ll make sure he doesn’t get out this time. That fucker isn’t going to live past this hunt.” Sam promised with overwhelming sincerity, dropping his hands into his lap.
You smiled weakly at him, yawning as all of the energy left your body. Sam noticed and started to stand but you stopped him by grabbing his arm. “Wait!”
Sam paused and looked back at you, an eyebrow raised in question.
“Could you… hold me…. I don’t.. I don’t think I can sleep on my own right now…”
“Yeah… yeah, just give me a sec.” Sam walked over to his side table and turned out the light. You hadn’t even registered that it was on until then… Sam had probably turned it on when he was woken up by you. He climbed into the bed behind you and placed an arm over your torso.
“Is this okay?” He asked, you could feel his breath on the back of your neck. It made you shiver slightly.
“Yes..” You settled into the safety and warmth that was Sam Winchester. You both lay in comfortable silence before Sam spoke.
“Can I ask you a question..” You hummed in response, “Why did you continue hunting?”
You thought for a moment, “I couldn’t tell you for sure… The longer I was at Ellen’s.. The more restless I got. I didn’t think I would’ve been able to sit back, knowing that what happened to me was probably happening to other people…” Another beat of quiet, “But I knew that I wasn’t gonna be able to go out on my own…”
“So you call Dean and I.” Sam finished.
“So I called you and Dean.” You agreed.
For the next couple of days, nothing happened. Sam and Dean went back to the bar and scoped out the place while you stayed back at the motel monitoring the police radio for the surrounding areas.
It wasn’t until the three of you were ready to call it quits that a person was taken. A young female, probably mid 20’s, was on a night jog- “Who the hell jogs at night?!” Dean commented- and when she still hadn’t returned home after a few hours, her roommate had called the police.
It was still too soon after the call for any reports to be in the system, meaning you had to do some slight digging to try and locate where she had been before she was taken.
“From what I can tell… this girl, Becca, goes for a jog at the same park every night. She takes the same route each night as well.” You said.
“Great..” Sam sighed, “So, what? We spend all night searching a park for some random shed or run down building?”
“Actually… I did a search of the park's name, turns out there's an old mansion towards the back of one of the shorter trails… They used to hold events in the building until roughly ten years ago when a kitchen fire caused damage to the foundation and support beams.”
“Alright!” Dean walked past you, clapping you on the shoulder as he did. “Let’s go smoke these bastards.”
Much to Dean’s dismay, the three of you left Baby in the parking lot and made the trip to the run down mansion on foot. Armed with a machete, you and the brothers snuck into the nest’s hideout.
Being mindful of the unstable flooring, you silently worked to locate Becca. Your heart was pounding in your ears as you crept around, keeping the machete poised in front of your body protectively. It didn’t take long before you saw Becca and the sight made your blood run cold. Her arms were tied above her head, keeping her elevated and on the tips of her toes. A fresh bite wound was dripping blood down her neck. A second mark on her hip had mostly dried blood decorating the bruise around it. Her head hung limply, but she was breathing… barely.
You quickly walk to her, cutting the rope and catching her before she could fall to the cold floor. When she started to stir and try to fight you, you whispered, “Shh… It’s okay… I’m here to get you out, you’re gonna be okay.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure of that, precious..” You froze, that voice causing your heart to falter and your breath to catch. You set Becca down and turned, gripping your machete tightly, as you came face to face with the vampire that had been haunting you for nearly a year.
It happened in a blur. One second, you're staring right into the eyes of the creature that took advantage of you. The next, you’re being pulled off of his headless, nearly unrecognizable, corpse and getting carried outside. You twisted and fought against the arms that were holding you, screaming in pain and frustration as you failed to get loose. “Y/N! Stop!” Sam yelled. “He’s dead!”
You continued thrashing against Sam, “Let me go! I’m not done with him!”
“No. Y/N, he can’t do anything anymore!” Sam reasoned. “You need to stop! You’re just hurting yourself!”
“He needs to feel pain! He deserves to feel how I did!” Your voice cracked as you stopped fighting against Sam. You hid your face in your bloodied hands and cried.
Sam gently lowered the both of you to the ground. He cradled you in his arms as you sobbed. He didn’t say anything. He just held you and, at one point, shooed Dean away with a quiet “Not now”.
At some point you must have fallen asleep. Because now, you’re waking up in the back seat of the Impala with one of Sam's flannels draped over your shoulders like a blanket. You realize that your head is resting on something and turn to look above you. That ‘something’ was Sam, you had been using his leg as a pillow.
Having felt you shift Sam glanced away from the book he was reading and down at you, smiling when he realized you were awake. “Hey,” He whispered. “How you feelin’?”
“Like I got hit by a train… or three.” you groaned. Sam chuckled weakly, setting a hand on your shoulder and rubbing his thumb soothingly against it.
“Feel free to keep sleeping… we still got a ways to go.” You nodded, humming sleepily as you snuggle into his flannel.
After a moment, you whisper. “Sam?” He hums in response, looking away from his book again. “He’s really dead?”
Sam smiled softly, moving his hand from your shoulder to your hair and gently combing through it, “He’s very dead… You don’t have to worry anymore.”

Boni I need advice how do u drive every day... Im still new to driving and lately I've been making mistakes on the road that scare me and make me feel like I'm not going to grow into a good driver because of my brain. How do people get good at driving
SORRY I'M LATE!!! Drive can be really scary--I drive a ram pickup truck which doesn't make the task any easier. When I first started driving I was actually terrified, I didn't want do drive over 20 mph, I didn't want to leave a neighborhood, I didn't want to drive alone... But I slowly got better at it. I won't lie and say even after years I don't make silly mistakes, but some of my tips include:
-obviously number one don't text and drive. Everyone is guilty of this and it can be pretty dangerous since a lot of teens think they're capable of doing both.
-For staying in the lines, I have a trick to measure, but its different on every car so just be aware.
If you line up the end of your car by the wheel, and about 3/4th of the hood, that should be in the lines. It makes it easier to stay in the lines because you don't have to look at your mirrors which requires more head turning.
-Get some round mirrors if you have the funds.
these things are the MVP of driving (especially if you have a pick up) bc they help show you everything in your blindspot. Whenever I merge I ONLY look at the round mirrors tbh. It shows me more.
-If you spin out, let go of the gas and steer in the right direction. I'm only adding this bc I've spun out TWICE in the last two days bc my shitty tire traction. this is good to remember.
-You might hate to hear it, but practice! That what my dad says lol. Ive been driving basically everyday in a city setting since I was 15, and I'm 21 now. It's really about growing confidence in your skills. I was once too frightened to leave my neighborhood while driving, and now I drive on the highway with one hand on the wheel. I know it seems scary, but sometimes a little confidence will help your skills! I know you can do it!!!!
I myself need to keep up the vigilance so this was a wonderful ask to refresh my memory. Don't start to get lazy like me!!! As much as I drive every single day I'm still capable of mistakes, just watch the road and watch your mirrors.

Valentine’s Night
Fandom: Tacoma FD (TV)
Characters: Lucy and Ike
Rating: T for one instance of language
Notes: Set after the events of 4.06 “Valentine’s Day” with spoilers for S3 and 4. “Tacoma FD” doesn’t do romance among its ensemble but the “Raiders” homage in 1.08 got me thinking about these two as a ship. Tagging: @fluffbruary
After a final shower, Lucy had changed into her civilian clothes and was standing in Station 24’s garage, debating what to do tonight when Ike acknowledged her.
“Hey, Lucy, I’m heading out,” he called as he walked past her. She nodded and gave him a wave, watching him climb into his pickup truck before deciding she had to say something.
“Hey, Ike.” She jogged over to his driver’s side door, and he looked down at her, the door held half-open.
“I’m sorry you missed working Valentine’s Day at the club this year.” She knew he needed the tips, having had his savings wiped out. Twice.
“Aw, it’s okay,” he assured her with his usual good humor. “I got to spend the day with you.”
Something about the open, frank manner in which he said this made butterflies appear in Lucy’s stomach.
“Uh, thanks,” she mumbled, instantly feeling like a fool. Seeking to correct her lame reply, she quickly followed up with “You doing anything later?”
A hesitant look crossed his face. “Yeah, I was gonna go out…”
She held up her hands to stop him. “Got it.”
“Oh, no, but you could come with!” he said, the words spilling out in an excited rush.
“You sure?”
“Yeah, yeah.”
With that, he leaned over to his right and opened the passenger door for her from the inside.
She climbed up and they buckled themselves in.
Lucy had been expecting to head to a bar or a club, but Ike drove them out to a skatepark of all places.
He parked in a lot and as Lucy got out, she shot him a look.
“You skate?” she asked, trying to picture him wearing a helmet and pads on a skateboard and biting back a laugh at the image.
“Nah,” he said with a laugh of his own as they ascended the slope of an embankment. “I just like to come up here sometimes.”
They reached the crest of the rise and Lucy couldn’t help a gasp as she stared out at the view before them. The lights from the city twinkled far off in the distance while in front of her, a series of concrete skating ramps were laid out in an alternating pattern from left to right. A few skaters were flying back and forth on three of the ramps. The skateboarder at the top of the ramp closest to them, a boy wearing elbow and knee pads and a blue helmet, paused to adjust his chinstrap and nodded at Ike.
“What’s up, old man?” he said in greeting. “Whoa, you brought a girlfriend?” he added as he noticed Lucy behind Crystal.
“Hey!” she snapped as she marched toward him. “Show some respect, you little asswipe!”
Blue Helmet let out a chuckle and just skated away from her down the ramp.
She huffed, using her annoyance to distract from the fact that she hadn’t corrected the kid’s assumption that she and Ike were dating. Neither did Ike, a small voice inside her said, making her butterflies return.
“Can you believe him?” she asked her fellow firefighter, shaking her head.
“Yeah, no, Kyle’s not that bad. That ‘old man’ thing’s kind of a joke. Besides, he hasn’t met Cap.”
“Or my dad,” she muttered.
“And he’s nothing compared to Hunter.”
Lucy had to agree, and she let the subject drop.
They settled themselves on a strip of grass at the edge of the park, Ike alternating between watching the skaters practice doing tricks on the ramps and looking up at the sky or out at the lights of Tacoma in the distance. Lucy followed suit but she also snuck glances at the handsome man beside her.
As the sun set, the air turned colder, and Lucy’s jean jacket over her black dress didn’t afford her much protection from it. She found herself nestling into Ike for warmth and shelter from the wind as they lounged side-by-side on the grass. He wore a beige workman’s jacket that Lucy had never seen before, and he shrugged out of his left sleeve to share it with her without being asked. She gave a contented sigh when she felt the jacket’s thick flannel lining drape over her shoulders and back, cocooning her in warmth and the scent of Ike’s…soap?
“You’re not wearing cologne?”
“Nah, I’m not working at the club tonight.”
“Well, thanks for sharing your jacket with me,” she said quietly, not wanting to disturb the comfortable atmosphere between them.
“Anytime.”
Now that they were talking again, she let her curiosity take over.
“How did you find this place?”
“Oh, a friend of Kyle’s broke his arm out here one weekend and I drove Granny over. That’s how I met Kyle—he called 911. I come back once in a while when I feel like I need some space.”
“Yeah, it’s got plenty of that,” she agreed as she adjusted the side of his jacket collar that was by her neck.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Lucy. You get any good stuff this year?”
She turned her head to look back up at him and nodded. “Yeah,” she agreed. “I think I got something really great.” A wide grin broke out across her face as she remembered her conversation with her parents, and she raised her hand for a high five, which Ike happily returned.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Ike.”
She leaned her head against his shoulder and went back to watching the skateboarders fly by against the backdrop of the darkening sky.

Memes and vitriol over the original Faction persisted well after its release, so perhaps sarcastically, the Faction Custom Donk was added to the game, a vehicle which was positively guaranteed not to get hung up on curbs. It incorporated many of the mods from the earlier Faction Custom while also tipping its hat to a famous part of car culture often neglected in video games, and with a little creativity, it could represent an even more niche segment: mud boggers. Instead of the backstreets, I threw some fat tires on my Donk and took it cruising around the mouth of the Zancudo River. Paradoxically, it even offered an experience similar to an actual 4x4 because raising and lowering the hydraulics would alter its gear ratios and grip akin to shifting between 4-hi and 4-lo. Appearances can be deceiving, and the Donk was certainly deserving of its chrome.
One of the Everon's parents must have been a monster truck, because this arctic Hilux clone certainly behaved like one. It crawled over absolutely everything, and it was shockingly fast on the roads, able to bring its trusty coolers full of booze to anywhere on the map in a matter of seconds. It used to be painted in that flat gray that was all the rage on Tacomas until I threw F1s and low grips on it for kicks, at which point it needed to look a little more flashy and I was able to brew up that sweet flag on the roof by color-matching the livery with true black crew paint. This truck was really good at turning heads, especially those of its whiplash-prone passengers.
The Imani Tech vehicles were another attempt at curbing the menace of the memebike, and one of the vehicles selected for a makeover was the humble Granger, in the form of the Granger 3600LX. While many players adored these vehicles for their missile jamming capabilities, they also had another trick up their sleeve in the form of a remote control unit, allowing you to drive your vehicle from across the map in complete secrecy. This made the Granger 3600LX ideal for covert counterattacks, as when it was modified very modestly like this model, it wouldn't attract attention and could blend into traffic effortlessly. Over and over, griefers would drive right past it as it was seemingly waiting at a stoplight, only to get run down while running for their next toy. Then they'd pull out their rocket launcher and bounce rockets off of its armor, or pull out their minigun and realize at the last second that there was no driver to shoot. Isn't technology grand?
Unlike the Oppressor Mk II, the original Oppressor came to be a widely beloved vehicle. It got a lot of hate when it first released for being difficult to hit, but it was balanced by having a steep learning curve and later got its wings clipped by the Stromberg. Once its malignant successor and other overpowered vehicles were released, the griefer crowd moved away from the Oppressor entirely and it was able to begin its real career as the flying stunt bike it was always meant to be. We all loved to try and make it up Maze Bank, glide from Chiliad, airdrop it from the Avenger, and tear around urban airspace with it, but randoms would always see the bike icon and assume you were looking for a fight or trying to grief cargo, and then everyone would get dragged into a brawl. Life was much better once the Oppressor finally joined the Deluxo as a comfy vehicle.
The Gauntlet Hellfire was a perfect recreation of the Dodge Challenger and encapsulated everything about what made the Chally so great. It was big, it was fat, it was loud, it was fast but not the fastest, and it didn't care, because it had style. It was a true American muscle car and one of the last of a dying breed. This one was my main, out of the two Hellfires I had, and I left the crazy styling to my red drifter while doing this one up to look like an R/T Scat Pack in Plum Crazy. Someday I hope to own a Challenger like it in real life, but until then, at least the Hellfire was there for me.
My search for a fun, fast, and comfy convertible came to an end with the Comet S2 Cabrio. For reasons undefined, this coupe was much faster than its hardtop variant, and MR layout meant that it lived to be thrown around corners. It even had one of those cool active spoilers that popped up once it got up to speed. This beauty needed to be treated with respect, so I gave it my best shot at Porsche's OEM Ultraviolet color and tried to keep the mods as clean as possible.
I felt like a lot of people slept on the Stratum. It wasn't the fastest thing around, and nearly all of its mods were locked to the car when you got it, but it also had extremely forgiving handling as well as RWD-biased AWD, so it knew how to have a little fun and it was deceptively sure-footed on the dirt. It was basically a budget Sultan and it's great for a street car. The 40/60 AWD made it a perfect candidate for low grip tires and it drove like an absolute dream with them, capable of ripping long drifts before snapping back into control on demand. While it was under the glitch knife, it was also given the lip, spoiler, badges, and rack, along with a set of F1s and some vivid paint to really press that over-the-top '90s style. It just goes to show that not all of the game's street cars are worthless filler.
Life Protip: If you are ever lost in the desert and dying of dehydration, call up your Scramjet and launch it into the air to find the nearest body of water. This thing would introduce you to pools in neighborhoods you didn't even know existed. When it wasn't being a four-wheeled divining rod, though, this car was awesome. Once you know how to cancel boosting and manipulate all three axes, you could do all sorts of crazy tricks. The missiles are almost a complete afterthought, though they did come in handy if you felt like taking down a memebike by pretending to be the Demon Lord of the Round Table.
The Nero struck me as a very comfortable car. I knew they were all just video game polygons, but it just looked so plush, like you could win a race with it and then take a nap in it. That level comfort and accessibility without sacrificing speed was something I appreciated about Bugattis in general. The hardcore drivers all went for the Benny's custom because it had marginally better stats, but I was happy just chilling with my cloud car and its cool spoiler. Even its name gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, as it reminded me of a certain computer program that I alluded to with a CDBURNER license plate.
My first Hakuchou was a legend in its own right, but this one made me feel like I had been visited by an angel. When glitches to put low grip tires on all vehicles came out, my instinctual reaction was to test them on motorcycles. Some were definitely better than others, but the low grip Hakuchou stood head and shoulders above every single one. Due to a quirk in how the game engine handled bike traction, it didn't peel out or slide, but rather developed a much heavier feeling when steering and a much, much lower gear ratio. So, while it took a second to get going, it became bar none the fastest land vehicle in the game while remaining remarkably smooth and deliberate. Other bikes like the Reever and Gargoyle could hang with it, but they bounced like jumping beans in the process, while this new Hakuchou could easily reach 170+ MPH on demand while staying just as composed as it was when doing the speed limit. It immediately became my primary vehicle and I was absolutely enamored. The fact that such a hidden gem, known to maybe a dozen people, was buried in this plain old motorcycle from 2014 made it feel like an "ace custom" from some old anime or video game, like Char's personal Zaku. I rode this motorcycle day and night until it was pried from my hands by the devs when they officially released low grip tires for every vehicle and quietly nerfed the speed boost gained from them, calling this angel back to the heavens for good.

Finally home from the four day trip that was supposed to be five days but fuck me I guess and
dear Jesus fucking Christ towing a trailer as the driver with my mom in the passenger seat is fucking horrendous. "Swing wide" "slow down" "don't stop too fast" the noise like a startled cat she makes whenever i... I don't even fucking know. She made it twice. I don't know what fucking caused it either time. Like. I can drive. I can tow a trailer. Am I the best? No. But I know what the fuck I'm doing, I don't need tips and tricks. I've driven it by myself with horses in it. Stop fussing over me driving it fucking EMPTY.
A whole-hearted and absolutely massive FUCK YOU to every single driver that puts their dog in the bed of their truck on the mother fucking highways and freeways. You know what's a surefire way to add some misery to your day? Seeing dead dogs and cats on the side of and in the road. Maybe their deaths were quick (I hope so. I think so.) but honestly and genuinely, if you've got your dogs loose in the back of your truck bed while you're hauling ass going 65-90mph down the goddamn road, fuck you up the ass with a jumping cactus. I hope your ass gets haunted. My fucking brain certainly will be for a minute.
#My mother is straight up the worst copilot#'im not nervous' sure. Which is why you keep telling me how to drive.

Thomas and Friends: Sodor Online Journeys (Story 57): The Missing Coach
Donald and Douglas are Twin Engines, they arrived from Scotland to help the Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt, but only one engine has been expected. The Twins meant well, but did cause confusion. The Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt had given them numbers. Donald was 9, and Douglas was 10, but he was still planning to send one engine home.
When the workmen had finished, the Twins were left alone in the Shed. "Ye may hae noticed, Douggie, that yon penters forgot somethin'." "What did they forget?" "They pented braw new nummers on oor tenders, but they put nane on uz." "Ye mean," grinned Douglas, "that we can…" "Juist that," chuckled Donald. "Haud yer wheesht. Here comes the Inspector." "Now 9 and 10," smiled the Inspector, "here's Duck. He'll show you around before you start work."
The Twins enjoyed themselves, and were soon friends with Duck. They don't mind what they did, they tackled goods trains and coaches easily; for once, the trucks/cars knew better to try any tricks.
"We like it fine here," said Donald. "That's good," smiled Duck, "but take my tip, watch out for Gordon, Henry and James. They're sure to try some nonsense." "Dinna fash yersel," chuckled Douglas. "We'll suin settle them."
Donald and Douglas had deep-toned whistles. Gordon and Henry thought it was a joke. "They sound like 'buses'," said Gordon. "Or ships," sniggered Henry. "Tugboat Annie!" laughed Gordon. "Ha! Ha!" Donald and Douglas cruised quietly up, one on each side. "Ye wadnae be makkin' fun o' uz wad ye noo?" asked Donald. Gordon and Henry jumped. They glanced nervously from side to side. "Uh, no," said Gordon. "No, no, certainly not," said Henry. "That's fine," said Douglas. "Noo just mind the baith o' ye, and keep it that wey." That was the way Gordon and Henry kept it!
Everyday at 3.30, Gordon steams in with the Express which is called "The Wild Nor' Wester", and is full of people from the Mainland. There's also a special coach for travelling places to Thomas's Branch Line. When the other coaches are taken away, engines have to remember to shunt the special coach to the bay platform. It doesn't wait there long, Thomas, Annie and Clarabel comes hurrying to the Junction to fetch it. Thomas is very proud of his special coach.
One afternoon, Douglas was helping Duck in the Yard while Donald waited to take a goods train to the other end of the line. As Duck was busy arranging Donald's Trucks/Cars, Douglas was offered to take away Gordon's Coaches.
Douglas was enjoying himself, when an awful thought struck him. "I hope the Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt disna find oot I shudna be here. I cudna abide gooin' back aloone." He worried so much over this that he forgot about Thomas's Special Coach. He pushed it with the others into the carriage siding, and then ambled along to join Donald at the Water Column.
As he went, Thomas, who was complaining came by. "Where's my coach?" he asked. "Cooch?" asked Donald. "What cooch?" "My special coach that Gordon brought it for me. It's gone, and I must find it." He bustled away. "Losh sakes!" said Douglas. "I maun hae stowed the special cooch wi the ithers." And he did. A mob of angry passengers were erupted from a siding. "They're complanin' to the Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt. He'll be comin' here next." said Donald's Driver. "Noo listen," said Douglas's Driver. "We'll change tenders. So Donal, ye hae tae tak yon Guids. Be quick noo!"
So Donald, with Douglas's tender, went away with the Goods before they came near.
Douglas and his Driver waited with innocent expressions. "No. 9," said the Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt. "Why haven't you taken the goods?" "My tender is awa' Sirr." The Driver showed him the tender, but it was still uncoupled. "I see, some defect no doubt. Tell me, why did No. 10 leave so quickly?" "Mebbe Sirr," put in Douglas, "he saw ye comin' an' thocht he was late." "Hm," said the Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt. "Here you are, Gentlemen, are the facts. No. 10 has been shunting in the yard. Your coach disappeared. We investigate. No. 10-uh-disappears too. You can draw your conclusions. Please accept my apologies. The matter will be investigated. Good afternoon, Gentlemen." The Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt watched until they climbed the Station Ramp. His shoulders twitched; he wiped his eyes. It seems as if that he was crying, but he wasn't. He swung round suddenly. "Douglas," he said sternly, "why are you masquerading with Donald's tender?"

Avoiding Tax Scams: Tips To Protect Yourself As A Trucker
Tax scams can pose significant threats to truckers, who often manage complex financial situations and may be targeted due to their frequent travel and diverse income sources. Protecting yourself from tax scams requires awareness and vigilance.
Here are some essential tips to safeguard yourself as a trucker:
Stay Informed: Educate yourself about common tax scams targeting truckers. Awareness is your first line of defense against fraudsters.
Verify Communication: Be cautious of unsolicited emails, phone calls, or text messages claiming to be from the IRS or other government agencies. The IRS typically initiates contact through traditional mail, not via email or phone.
Verify Identity: If you receive a communication purporting to be from the IRS, verify the identity of the sender. The IRS will never demand immediate payment, threaten arrest, or ask for sensitive information like Social Security numbers or bank account details over the phone or via email.
Use Secure Channels: When communicating with the IRS or your tax preparer, use secure channels. Avoid sharing sensitive information over unsecured networks or email.
Choose Reputable Tax Preparers: Select a reputable tax professional or accountant, preferably one with experience working with truckers. Research their credentials and reputation before entrusting them with your tax affairs.
Review Tax Returns Thoroughly: Carefully review your tax returns before filing to ensure accuracy and completeness. Question any unfamiliar deductions or credits and seek clarification from your tax preparer.
Protect Personal Information: Safeguard your personal and financial information to prevent identity theft. Avoid sharing sensitive details with unfamiliar individuals or websites.
Beware of Phishing Scams: Watch out for phishing scams, where fraudsters impersonate legitimate entities to trick you into revealing personal information or downloading malicious software. Be skeptical of emails or websites requesting login credentials or financial data.
Secure Devices and Accounts: Keep your electronic devices, including smartphones and computers, protected with up-to-date security software. Use strong, unique passwords for your online accounts and enable two-factor authentication whenever possible.
Monitor Financial Accounts: Regularly monitor your bank accounts, credit cards, and credit reports for any suspicious activity. Report unauthorized transactions or identity theft immediately to your financial institution and credit bureaus.
File Early: Filing your tax return early can help prevent tax identity theft. Scammers often file fraudulent returns using stolen personal information, so filing before they have the chance reduces the risk of someone else filing in your name.
Report Suspicious Activity: If you encounter a tax scam or believe you've been targeted, report it to the IRS and appropriate authorities. Reporting scams helps protect others and may prevent further fraudulent activity.
Stay Updated: Stay informed about new tax scams and fraud schemes by following IRS alerts, news releases, and updates. The IRS regularly issues warnings about emerging threats to help taxpayers stay vigilant.
Seek Professional Advice: If you're unsure about the legitimacy of a tax-related communication or suspect fraudulent activity, seek advice from a trusted tax professional or accountant. A tax accountant for truck drivers can provide guidance and help you navigate potential scams.
By following these tips and remaining vigilant, you can reduce the risk of falling victim to tax scams and protect yourself as a trucker. Remember, it's better to take precautions than to deal with the consequences of fraud or identity theft.

The Ultimate Overview to Automobile Fixing: Tips, Tricks, and Specialist Guidance
