#tenkara#current score: trout: 7 me: 0#though I have made some measurable progress toward catching#on upper mcgee creek yesterday I briefly hooked a trout#maybe 8 or 9 inches long?#but I was so surprised i didn't properly set the hook#and the fishy got off after about 1 or 2 seconds#then this morning I didn't get any bites#but I did actually see a couple of big#like#one 14-inch and one 18-inch#trout in lower mcgee creek#I cast to both of them#but I suspect they saw me before I saw them#or they just weren't interested in feeding#or my technique was just bad#because neither paid any attention to my fly#anyway#closer...
