Crash course on my mascot/main oc Sweet Melon!!

Sweet melon was born in a town that would become apart of Ponyville! Her mother is a blue Pegasus mare named Starlight Seeker, and her father is a fiery griffon named Fire feather. When they had Sweet melon it was a total curve ball that neither had seen coming.

Two ish years later they’d have their second and last child Velvet feather. A griffon with a mutation. She was just much of a shock as her old sister was.

The family lived happily in ponyville for years. That is before an incident involving Velvet, Sweet m and a cranky old stallion. Fire feather thought it was no longer safe in town. While Starlight insisted it was fine. They fought back and forth for a week, before Fire feather left. He left and took Velvet with him, for her safety.

Starlight was devastated. She spent weeks on end locked away in her room. Till the drinking she was doing finally caught up to her. Sweet melon found her mother dead and was taken in by her neighbors.

Their neighbors was a family they were close friends with. The nurse, and mother to Sweet melons friend, had been close with Starlight. So when Sweet melon came to her with the news she didn’t hesitate. Raising the mare til she was old enough, and ready enough, to take back the house.

Sweet melon moved back into her childhood home, and lives there to this day. Hoping maybe her dad and sister will return one day.

(There is a lot I left out for many reasons. Mainly that it is not super important. I’ll go into more detail if y’all like this and want more.)
