Just because Ashley leaving again made me real sad, I went back and rewatched the part in campaign 1 where she initiated what was possibly the funniest dang 20 minutes of the series.

(There are spoilers in the video for relationships in the group, and there’s an out-of-context mention of the outcome of a battle, but nothing specifically plot-related.)

It starts at 2:16:08 in episode 89 (link should take you right there) and goes until about 2:35:00. Probably best summed up by Matt tearfully whispering, “This joke went too far.”

But Vox Machina….. oh. Wasn’t it just So Good though? Such an epic story that took YEARS to tell. It’s honestly such a unique experience getting told a story this way.
