It's the last day of @tristampparty , huh. :( I'm glad to have been part of something fun like this. Thank you to @revenantghost for modding and hosting!

Once again, I have a lot of thoughts about this episode: it's a fantastic showcase of the team at Studio Orange's efforts, from the music to the sound design to the animation to the voice acting--you get the idea. There's a lot going on, to the point that even on rewatch I feel like there might be too much? But not in a bad way, if that makes sense. It's one of the most chaotic times in the characters' lives, of course it will be.

Unfortunately I'm having a hard time being coherent about any of this, so I'm going to do one of the other options mentioned in the pinned post and show off one of my favorite shots (that isn't any of the ones I've shown previously):

I know there are bigger things I could hope for in the seasons to come (More Legato, more Gung-Ho Guns, heck, Wolfwood and Milly teaming up), but man. As soon as episode 2 was over I was 100% on board for the Nebraskas to be part of Vash's posse. They're still alive! It could totally happen for an episode! And if it does, I will cheer so loud.

Also Blazing Dynamites Neon and Kite appearances, please!

I think it’s funny there’s four named fully non-human characters in Trigun and they’re more human looking than like 70% of the random antagonists that show up. In fact I’d say the plant angels are also more human looking than a good chunk of these random freaks that are just there for like a chapter and then gone.

Trigun stampede ep 2 &3

This more of my general thoughts and a lot less analytical than last time

- Tonis is back!

- and the Nebraska family!!! I liked their new designs, especially Gofsef’s

-I also liked how their characters were given more depth

- so much for Meryl being an uninvolved reporter smh

- I live that the whole trend of “Vash drinking with his enemies” has carried on

-

-E.G Mine was really interesting because in the original he was really insignificant but in this version he was really making an impact

-I like that “lost” technology is something that playing a bigger part in this series

- Kniiiiives my guY so much more actively murdery

- his design is also really really cool, the whole clothes are weapons and maybe part of him is just so incredibly kickass

-poor Vash dealing with the consequences of his brothers actions :( people turn on him so quick

-I wonder that the deal is with the “dead plant” I don’t remember anything like it in the manga and I’m so excited to see where it leads
