I’ve curated a collection of what I believe are particularly positive and soothing ambient pieces, weaving them together into roughly two-hour mixes. The goal is to provide a consistent and relaxing soundscape to help you relax and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

I have a book series rec but also it's just in the form of me reminiscing so like...take that as you will.

Sometimes I just think about 'The Last of the Jedi' series by Jude Watson (connected to her other two series which are pre-cursors 'Jedi Apprentice' and Jedi Quest.) And I just think about Ferus Olin my boy. And I think about how Obi-Wan very briefly left Tatooine to find Ferus and more or less ended up tasking him with finding the remaining Jedi (kinda unspoken but also ya know) and anyways. Ferus, one of the last Jedi survivors who's old and used to train under Master Siri Tachi and went on missions alongside Obi-Wan and Anakin (ya know before he left the order) ends up finding this blue haired kid, Trevor Flume, roaming the streets and basically takes him in and takes care of him (mind you if my memory serves me correctly it was relatively unwilling.) And they stumble upon several people to take on their merry band of misfits (of who I cannot remember rn because it's been like 10+ years since I've read the series so apologies if I'm misremembering.)

But I remember their secret base was this asteroid and Ferus kinda had a run in with crazy evil scientist Jenna Zan Arbor (from back in his day) and also this Grand Sith Inquisitor whose name was Malorum (who died in the same pit Darth Maul fell in on Naboo.) And I remember Ferus was hunting for like...a missing Jedi who they'd heard rumors of still being alive, Fy-Tor-Ana.

And I remember he re-met with Astri Oddo (also from back in the day) and helped her rescue his force sensitive son (because Jenna Xan Arbor was trying to conduct experiments in him for Astri's ex husband Big Divinian) Lune. And I think Astri and Lune started traveling with them I can't remember.

And I also remember him becoming a double agent for the Emperor, temporarily working under Vader because he had no other choice. And also he stumbled across this person 'Flame' who was trying to start a rebellion and worked with Ferus and...

Anyways I'll stop there because spoilers. Though I know this post is one mass spoiler if you've never read the series. But also I recommend it so highly. All of them. And if some of what I said happens to sound a little familiar to you well..

Sometimes I just think about these books and how they shaped my love and adoration for star wars as a kid. And how I own all of them and still need to reread them for nostalgia purposes. But anyways that being said (shade has been thrown if you caught on) read these books because they're so good!

Casting jude Watson characters as howls moving castle list B

Alright let's get to the list. I'm willing to take constructive criticism, kind of.

Sofie- Roan Lands. Moral character, always seeing the best in everyone Roan lands vibe.

Howl- Ferus Olin. Look if Roan is Sofie, ferus is Howl k. And there personally kind of click, kind of. I'm just saying. And with the context of the movie it just makes sense

Calcifer- Siri Tachi. Look the sass but the kindness look its. Literally the same person k. And siri having ferus heart(Literally, not figuratively) I find it nice :)

Marco- Trevor Flume. The being very defensive then slowly warming up to roan. Same as Marco and sofie.

Witch of the Waste- Anakin Skywalker. Look I'm putting a dash of skylin in here so. They talk about them being a talented sorcerer and anakin has the highest medicolorian count ( I think that spelled wrong.)

Madam Sullivan- Adi Gallia. They state thay Howl was the last apprentice they took. And because siri is calcifer and Adi is ferus grand Master. Also being stern but really a proud 'mom' such an adi thing.

King- Kit Fisto. Because I said so

Sofies mom- dona, only because I can't be mean to Enna lands. Enna was only in question because shes Roan mom.

I may or may not have bought the entire ‘The Last of the Jedi’ series recently. And man I haven’t had the chance to re-read yet, but just having them in my possession makes me feel so happy. Ferus Olin ma boi we are about to have a quality reading session together.

Bellassa Fashion

So because I was writing FanFiction and thinking about Fashion in Star Wars I designed some Bellassan shirts. The main idea is that Bellassa is an arty place that makes a lot hand crafted goods. So their fashion reflects this idea in the “Bibbed Shirt”. [Also Ferus and Roan work manual jobs and need serviceable clothes.] 

Roan’s shirt features a “Bibbed Front” flap closure over the front. The “Bibbed Shirt” have patterned top stitching or sometimes quilting. Are often made out a comfortable but durable fabric. But this style can also be utilized by any Bellassan. The Shirts close with decorative “L clips” at the corners which are the most common shape but other kinds of clips can also be used. These shirts often but not always feature collars.

Trevor’s Shirt has larger clips which are easier for a child to use. Also no collar.

Ferus’s “Bibbed Shirt” has a different kind of top stitching then the other two. The top stitching is a great place to have individuality and also an art piece in the garment itself. 

These “Bibbed Shirts” can be made out of any kind of fabric and be as simple or as decorative as anyone wants. The style itself is the cultural aspect of Bellassa. The style shows Bellassa’s long history with art and textiles. The “Bibbed” front is reminiscent of aprons and overalls, both of which are garments worn for working. [Also the bib front is reminiscent of the wester style bib front shirts that goes along with the wester in space aesthetic of Star Wars as a whole.]

How to Get Red Rocks Refunds for Events Impacted by Coronavirus

Red Rocks is giving fans a much needed update on the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the shows affected.

This summer, Above & Beyond, Chromeo & Madeon, Kraftwerk, Galantis & 3LAU and so many more were set to take the stage. Some shows are postponed due to the outbreak and, unfortunately, some are flat out canceled.

Red Rocks explains its refund policy in the new update:

If your event is cancelled and you purchased via credit card, you will automatically receive a refund, usually within 30 business days of the cancellation announcement. If your event has been rescheduled and you purchased tickets via credit card, you will be able to manage your tickets and request a refund from your AXS ticketing account for 30 days after the new date is announced.

How to Get Red Rocks Refunds for Events Impacted by Coronavirus

Red Rocks is giving fans a much needed update on the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the shows affected.

This summer, Above & Beyond, Chromeo& Madeon, Kraftwerk, Galantis & 3LAU and so many more were set to take the stage. Some shows are postponed due to the outbreak and, unfortunately, some are flat out canceled.

Red Rocks explains its refund policy in the new update:

If your event is cancelled and you purchased via credit card, you will automatically receive a refund, usually within 30 business days of the cancellation announcement. If your event has been rescheduled and you purchased tickets via credit card, you will be able to manage your tickets and request a refund from your AXS ticketing account for 30 days after the new date is announced.
