Seven Sentence Sunday

“Oh Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. Turn back now, save yourself,” Chim says, shaking his head in mock-despair.

Tommy frowns in confusion but Chim just claps him on the shoulder and gives him a wry smile as he passes.

Evan is leaning over the station’s dining table, weight on his hands, arms tense as he stares intently at a heap of photos spread out over the surface. Eddie and Hen are seated at the table, Eddie slumped over with his head resting in the middle of the pictures and Hen off to one side, resolutely focused on her phone.

Eddie turns his head as Tommy approaches and gives him a small defeated wave. “Oh thank fuck you’re here. This can be your problem now,” he says, indicating the table and Evan in general.

Tommy’s attention is more drawn to Evan’s triceps than anything else, but he laughs, still not quite sure what’s going on. “Oh?”

Evan straightens up, running his hands through his hair. He looks stressed but he smiles widely when he sees Tommy and, as always, it’s like the sun coming out.

“What’s up baby?” Tommy asks, smiling back as he walks over and kisses the side of Evan’s head.

“It’s the most insufferable time of the year,” Hen mutters, not looking up.

Tommy looks down at the photos covering the table and stops short, blinking in surprise. Oh.

“It’s the LAFD calendar,” Evan says, as if that explains everything, which, in a way Tommy supposes it does.

I always was curious what Smasher be like if he found out his potential interest had a baby, not his obvs, but from an ex or whatever. How that might change his attraction to them

Even though Smasher ain’t kid friendly in the slightest, it wouldn’t really change his attraction. It takes some getting used to the kid, though.

Of course, said kid thinks Adam looks cool as shit and climbs all over him.

And Adam, surprisingly, sits there and lets it happen.
