My partner finally finished BG3 but has no idea that his ending was actually bad cause he was a pro-Vlaakith githyanki who rode off with Lae'zel but got NO EPILOGUE where Withers points out y'all died im 😭😭😭

they have no idea what happened with Gale or anyone else (who was still alive) after flying away 🙃🙃🙃

#i cant even tell him cause hes gonna play again more “normally”#its so tragic he would like skip dialogue and just fight to get the jump on boss battles instead of waiting for the cutscenes to start #and he didn't exhaust dialogue trees!! like... how... why...#and also he staked Astarion 😭 and p much never reloaded #and didn't clear the shadow curse so no Halsin #also everyone at Last Light Inn died so Dammon was gone and Karlach only got 2 upgrades #and he didnt know moonrise towers was basically a second town #and his game was buggy a lot maybe? cause he kept trying to be hella creative with things and do things out of order #like killing gortash before doing steel watch 🙃#it's fine it's fine everyone plays differently #he tends to care more about gameplay than anything else but still!!#i just want him to know all the character backstories and see everything that made me emotional #i mean he did say he was sad when Lae'zel broke up with him in act 3 and when Karlach died and when he had Gale use the orb in act 2 #which he considered his canon ending :/ sigh #i dont think he got Jaheira's lines about death #and he didnt understand why Karlach wouldn't go back to the hells #and he thought Wyll was happy being the duke (and has NO idea you could save his dad cause the mission didn't happen!! 😭)#the iron throne was like my fave mission outside of killing Cazador and I can't discuss either one cause he didn't do them properly yet 😭😭#he also avoided talking to children so he missed those quests and yenna glitched so no cat appeared in camp 🙃#sighhhhh cannot believe he plays so differently than i do lollll #he didn't even do unlimited kisses with Lae'zel!! meanwhile im over here kissing Astarion every night hahahah #hoping my partner doesn't see IRL if I have the office door open as if it matters lmfaooooo #i need him to play again and see why im in love with a video game character lol #maybe we could both um... benefit from knowing more about all of Astarion's scenes lmao #but like he has NOT SEEN Astarion's silly or sweet side yet just him being a bit of a chaotic vampire #and thinks i like him cause of vampires WRONG!! play the game again and see that i love his silly & sweet real self!#bg3 spoilers #baldur's gate 3 spoilers #bg3 #baldur's gate 3

At the end of both ExUs it was love/fear that broke their resolve.

It was love for Ted that made Opal call for the Spider Queen and fear of losing her that made her put the crown on.

It was love for Quay that made Laerryn allow herself to be grappled and fear of losing him that made her blight the tree.

So I went a ahead and coloured Princess Tutu! Kaze.

Yes his hand is gold for a reason- look I know technically speaking Kaze's right hand is in fact fully functional it's just you know attached to/holding the Magun / Magun is attached to it.

However while I could give him a normal hand, another idea kept bouncing around and couldn't stop thinking- but what if prosthetic hand.

(It's probably not actually made of metal/gold and just you know gold coloured but yeh)

I really like VAdaPEGA's work in general, not only their serious stuff, but also what im going to define as "serious shitposts". I unironically enjoy stuff like SIivagunner or Rave Story (a cave story mod) that start start off as a joke and never really loses the joke, but is so high effort and good that is suprising. Some might see it as a "waste of potential" but that kind of stuff really tickles a really specific part of my brain, maybe its because I watched SIivagunner when I didnt even know what Vinesauce was and just did it because of funy Flintstones theme and videogame OST mashups. Btw shoutouts to SIivagunner for showing me the existence of Vargskelethor Joel he is like one of my top streamers.

Btw Btw I also really love games that really selfish in the best way possible, maybe I should make a Huge Ass Post™ to explain what I mean by that, but to try and condense it, I enjoy the "Here's my OC that used/still represents me as the main character, btw here's a bunch of inside jokes, people you probably dont know and crystal clear inspirations from popular media, deal with it" I 100% explained that wrong and I should really gather my toughts about that kind of games, but the work of Unlimited Trees, VAdaPEGA and to some degree Patricia Taxxon are the only ones so far that that managed to hit that part of my brain and I REALLY love it.

#I can very clearly remember a number of things thanks to the music from them #The opening to Madoka Magica with Walprugisnacht and the fantastic music to the sheer scale of despair that the actual event itself holds #Riko taking Reg up onto the edge of the crater to look out over Orth as the sun rises and the utter beauty that was Hanazeve Caradina plays #Shiro finally utilizing Unlimited Blade Works against Gilgamesh toward the end of UBW and actually managing to push back against him #Apocrypha's main theme playing as Sieg takes on Shiro and all the buildup throughout until the moment Sieg calls upon Fran's Blasted Tree #Tanjiro using Sun Breathing for the first time ever and absolutely turning the tables around on his first Major Demon and Nezuko's assist #ACCEPT THE TRUTH from Final Fantasy 16 and “Find The Flame” cicking in as the true fight against the Infernal Shadow starts #The utterly bonkers rendition of Omega Weapon's theme brought over from FFXIV into FFXVI for the Omega absolutely WILD Omega fight #The Deep Stone Lullaby from Destiny 2's Deep Stone Crypt raid when you exit the space station and have a whole parkour section in SPACE #Nier Automata's Weight of the World the many times it's heard throughout the game up until you reach ending E and hear the choir version #The ever iconic music all across Evangelion tbh #though especially Decisive Battle from Ramiel Fate from Sahaquiel and Tsubasa Wo Kudasai from the end of 2.22 #Ludwig The Holy Blade's theme as a whole from Bloodborne The Old Hunters and how it shifts into a hauntingly beautiful and epic orchestra #Fucking ANSWERS from the FFXIV A Realm Reborn trailer and the utterly gorgeous and terrifying animation that was Bahamut's rampage #The serenely gorgeous music from all of Journey but especially the piece right at the end when you're making your final ascent #How to Train Your Dragon 2 opening with “Where No One Goes” as Hiccup and Toothless soar through the skies so effortlessly together #The utterly haunting and adrenaline pumping Rumble of Scientific Triumph from MiA:Dawn of Deep Soul during the final encounter #Music is fucking AWESOME #just felt like doing a bit of rambling about it

Thinking about how I kinda pitched my story as a hell striving for utopia, with a lil hint of the moral authority being the “mad/bad guys”

When it’s more like, a hopeful critique of Utopia. It’ll always be struggle to make a safe place, but that struggle with keep Many happy and safe, even if not perfect

And that the moral authority, while being tortures are also soul themselves that have experienced a millennia of grief and been traumatized by their family as well as the memory of an earth that can no longer connect to, and really want to bring Justice to a life they feel will never be just

And how there’s whole other parts of hell with their own magic rules, coping with grief by making reality a dream. Spirits crafting their own rules on the backs of sleeping demons, demons acting as if they’re just a tree to watch what will happen, quiet nudges, or a world unlike anything seen before
