💫To Be A Man💫

Thrilled I get to post my part of @ghostsharkpress ‘s transology zine before pride month ends. Our prompt was to recontextualize a formative childhood cartoon through the lense of transness/gncness.

These are thoughts I’ve had spilling around in my head for a while and seeing how important Treasure Planet was for me as a kid I thought it would be perfect. I always struggled with the fact I don’t really have any older male guide or figure to learn myself from so as a kid I tried to mimic the masculinity of shows or my peers. Growing older and wanting to step out of boyhood has really been a journey of self discovery and self worth and I’m really proud of the person I’m becoming.

A 2019 Treasure Planet fan-illustration for a Disney Zine I participated in when my colours were going crazy with vibrance X) I love Treasure Planet, it is one, if not the most of my favourite Disney movies. The father\son relationship between Jim and Silver melts my heart every watch.

Swim On 10

The pieces I did for the last Swim On zine, which you can still support! It was such a tough decision to stop Swim On after this but it's gotten so much bigger than I ever expected and I just don't have enough time anymore to put into it. I may come back to it at some point, but for now 10 volumes was a good place to say goodbye! [Image ID: Cover image of Swim On, Blue Planet. The perfect cover to innocently spend time together.

Britannia should weep.” Aziraphale’s smile softens in pleasure. The angel’s too soft over humanity, and unfortunately, it’s one of the things Crowley likes best about him. “Did you know they’re only eight hundred and ninety years off calculating when the earth began?” The angel glances away, and Crowley has to cover a sharp breath at Aziraphale’s profile, pale and happy. “That’s the closest anyone’s gotten, I believe.” (Written for the Days Of Their Lives zine with incredible art by Enelica!)

One summer in late 19th-century Japan, Aziraphale learns about a fascinating tradition during Obon, the festival to honor the deceased, which reminds him of his hopes for a future with Crowley. A look into four different stages in Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship, all set in Japan during different seasons and time periods.

Aziraphale is sent up to Finland to bless a Midsummer festival, Crowley goes with her on her own "assignment". The pair thus get roped into helping with the celebrations. Aziraphale and Crowley are fem presenting in this, and it takes place between Edinburgh and St. James' Park! (Note: contains some Finnish Fem!Aziracrow art!)

Aziraphale comes to find her.

Mistakes Were Made: The Book of Crowley by eag (M)

Based on the biblical Book of Tobit from the Apocrypha. Ephesus, 400 B.C. Commanded away from Aziraphale's side by an infernal master, Crowley is forced to use his time-stopping powers for Asmodeus' dirty work while Aziraphale is left wondering why Crowley has disappeared. As Crowley sinks ever deeper into despair, Aziraphale is sent on a journey accompanying a human from Nineveh to Ecbatana. Of course, mistakes were made...

Hi anon! I did not design or fabricate it unfortunately. I have no connection to the zine at all aside from purchasing one for myself.

I have limited experience with zine's in general but another one I purchased had some sales long after pre orders got sent out with leftover merch.

Like I said, I have NO connection to this zine but maybe you can keep an eye on @treasure-planet-zine to see what they say about possibly getting a keychain or ask them for further info.

Vaults of Vaarn: a collection of zines that i’ve had my eye on for a long while now. weird setting and weird art. the setting has been in progress for a while and there’s always more coming

Vast In The Dark: general purpose setting inspired by uncaring mega structures. i’ve had my eye on the original for a while and this is an updated addition (note: currently out of stock)

In Carmine: an adventure for Mothership. what if there was an entire planet made of Meat?

Volume 2 Monsters & + &&&&&&&&& Treasure: i’d want to get these 2 together. more weird artbook than game. very highly recommended by ppl who work in the indie scene that consider games as a proper Craft. both are by Luke Gearing if that means anything to yall (and if it doesn’t and you’re a fan of TTRPGs it Should)

Ryuutama: a Japanese game. not super popular in the west but a system i’ve heard very good things about. it’s been described as “Hayao Miyazaki's Oregon Trail” but i hear the “Oregon Trial” part is a bit exaggerated. has some cool mechanics
