Disney ask game:

💖 Favorite movie?: honestly it's hard for me. But i love all the classics. But hunchback of Notre dame,beauty and the beast,sleeping beauty,snow white,mulan,and i know it's unpopular opinion but i loved pocahontas for two reasons. One i had zero to nothing for representation growing up knowing and having native background (now i might have better rep but again this was younger me) and two i just liked it face value. And that's ok. I know the real history,and i can like AND give valid criticism for a piece of media. Oh and i love treasure planet,and princess and the frog. Underrated af movies.

💕 Favorite underrated movie/show?: like i said treasure planet and princess and the frog.

💀 Least favorite movie?: i don't know. Im not really a fan of "modern" disney films. It's not that they aren't fun or good. It's just they dont have the same charm ya know? Plus older disney movies weren't afraid to get raw and real. Like bro,we aint never getting another hunchback of Notre dame.

🖌 2D animation or 3D animation?: i prefer 2d but some 3d is fine.

🌄 What movie has the prettiest animation?: honestly i can't say. There's too many i love.

🎶 Which movie has the best music?: hunchback,the lion king,mulan,beauty and the beast,honestly there's too many. I'd say hunchback has the best overall ost. Because holy shit. Im not religious by any means,not heavily at least(i do believe but not by the book but by my heart) but church choir and those chants and deep bells give me goosebumps every time.

📣 Which remake is the best?: honestly not many remakes and sequels of disney work. Some are ok but poorly executed.

🤡 Which remake is the worst?: ok as for sequels. Hunchback because of it felt like a pity movie for quasi and i hated it. As for live action remakes i dont like any of em. But beauty and the beast because i just do not like emma watson. I dont hate her,i just dont like her vibe. *shrug*

🪄 If you could change 3 things about any movies/shows, what would you change?: honestly lemme get really real for a sec. There is several movies id change but i wanna change that quasi and esmie get together in the end. Thats all i ask. And i want gaston punted into the sun. Im very simple to please.

🎥 If you could create/star in a remake, what would you do?: honestly i dunno. I'd kill it as belle I'd think but eh. I just wanna write my own movie.

🎞 If you could create an original movie, what would it be about?: any movie where the girl doesn't get with the guy. She doesn't need a sidekick. She's just doing her thing. And honestly we can learn a thing or teo from mulan. But if i could. I'd love to make a proper and honest to god movie about samurai. But tastefully done. Tome gozen movie anyone? Or a simple movie about friendship. And the importance of it. And platonic relationships being just as important as Romantic ones.

🦜 Favorite animal sidekick?: honestly i dunno. Iago is adorkable. R.i.p Gilbert godfrey. I miss you. There's too many i like and think is adorable and fun but i dont really pay attention to that when i watch a disney movie. I pay attention to vibes. You feel with disney my dudes.

💃 Favorite character?: too many to list. Fr. I just have too many i think is just neat and deserve a seat at the table. ♡ my fave villains however are judge claude frollo,falicifer,hades,cruella(the real one not the prequel weird one they made),Ursula(my beautiful sea queen!),jafar,and scar. Sorry im a villains kinda gal more than a princess gal.

I'm bored here are my favourite lawlight fics (AO3)

Pictures on skin: oneshot, AU where you receive marks on your body as you grow older. an absolute must in the lawlight fandom. Amazing writing and incredible characterization. There's definitely a reason why this is so loved.

it's not living (if it's not with you): a series wherein light and l are soulmates who can communicate their thoughts with each other. I love this series and treasure it so much. It's written so well and their interactions are so tender.

sugar and pumpkin spice: oneshot, coffee shop au where light is an annoyed barista and l is an annoying customer. I do not have words to talk about how much I love this. It is not only my comfort fic but also my favourite lawlight fic. It's funny, it's sweet, and it's just cute af.

Do not speak to me of martyrdom: oneshot, canon divergence fix it au. Ok so the first time I read this was a night where i couldn't sleep and when I bookmarked it, I had tears streaming down my face and the bookmark note I'd written was 'i do not know how I survived so long without this' and now I can't picture my life without this. You might think I'm exaggerating but I swear I am not. It's really that beautiful

cake and coffee: multi-chapter, another coffee shop au! The death note exists in this one but light is not kira. As a gay misa truther, I love misa in this. The plot twists are excellent and suspenseful, while still being funny and you know romantic. It's just so different from so many dn fics while still staying true to everyone's characters.

for all the planets in the galaxy and all that stars in the sky: oneshot, space opera au. this is probably one of the best fics in the fandom but it is criminally underrated. I love this so much. It's set in a world where space travel is normal, and it explores the ups and downs of their relationship. It's not very long but still leaves me with so many emotions

my best laid plan: oneshot, au where your lies appear on your soulmate's body. I just went and read this again because it's so good! The interactions are so beautiful and I really do not know how anyone could read this and not like it.

So I'm like in the Edward asking Bella questions chapter and I'm like, did Smeyer intentionally perpetuate the accusation that Bella is bland af?

Like, all her favourite films and books had me like... bitch. No one likes only popular movies and books. For films, I understand. Bella is not a movie geek, so she probably has seen only mainstream films (and yeah having her choose Empire Strikes Back as a favourite doesn't help I_said_what_I_said.gif) but like, I wasn't a film geek either yet at 17 I was already in love with some super underrated or even niche films (Treasure Planet and Splice respectively, to give an example) and like... add some spice. It won't hurt.

But for the books? It's inconcievable to me that a bookworm won't have less known books that they love. I haven't even read the books Bella listed (aside from Jane Eyre) yet I know how popular they are, and like... Nah. Give me some juice. Give me some spice. Tell me about your favourite books, Smeyer (or maybe don't, considering your views of the world) and give me new books to read!

I'm not saying it in a hipster, "I don't like mainstream things lol" way. It's fine for her to like mainstream, known or popular films and books. But it's bland when she only likes those. Sometimes you turn on the TV (or you would, in 2005) and there's a random film starting and you're like ok let's watch and out of nowhere a film no one knows becomes your favourite. Same with books, you browse lists and bookshelves and you're like let's try this one and again you fall in love with something few people know. It happens with literally everyone, and with books it's impossible to not happen when you're supposed to be a bookworm.

Like, fuck. I'm not a bookworm. My favourite books? Perfume (super known), The Golden Compass (super known), and Being by Kevin Brooks. Already by 17 I had what Bella didn't have, without even having read 1/4 of the books she had.

It happens. People like both known and unknown stuff. Having them like only one or the other makes then bland and unrealistic. And fuck, Smeyer, were you actively trying to make Bella bland? You had the chance to give her some spice and you fucked it up.

Okay so top three films. (God this is hard.)

1. Princess Mononoke. Ghibli movie that’s I guess about the clash between human progress and nature? Absolutely creeped me out when I first saw it when I was like 12-13, but I could not look away it was so good.

2. Titan A.E. Don Bluth animated film. SUPER underrated film. This caters to the exact sci-fi specifications I want. idk what else to say it’s so fantastic go watch it.

3. The Fifth Element. Also caters to my sci-fi specifications. I think this movie is kind of unhinged and I love it. I saw it when I was 10-11 and def had a crush on Bruce Willis at the time (dw I have grown lmao), but I totally wanted to be Leeloo. She was so badass.

I have memory issues so I will probably look back on this and be like “fuck no! I’ve changed my mind!!” lmao.

Honorable mentions include: The Matrix (!!!!), Flight of the Navigator, Mulan, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (I know I KNOW blease... i just love Darth Maul....), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (sexual metaphors lmao), Captain America: The Winter Soldier, It’s a Wonderful Life (we only watch it at xmas and I bawl every time), Spectral, Edge of Tomorrow, Treasure Planet, Pacific Rim. I’m sure there’s more but I can’t remember atm XD some of these aren’t like top tier movies but I like them and have fun watching them.

For ships tbh I’m mostly a casual shipper. Supernatural is actually probably the one I have the most ships for? In that I will ship (almost) anyone with anyone lmao. I have always been a multishipper. However let me make you cringe with my OTP of OTPs:

Sam Winchester/Ben White.

Ben is my own OC (I know cringe) from the C/all of D/uty Mo/dern Wa/rfare 2 fandom and I used to roleplay him. My partner role played a Sam and that’s actually how we met. And like my partner wrote an extremely good Sam. They were meticulous about keeping him in character. And hooo boy the sparks between her Sam and Ben was WILD. Even funnier that I had picked Jared as my face claim for Ben before I’d seen Supernatural. (We had verses where they were twins it was awesome.) Actually made for a great first encounter with their season 7 Sam and him thinking he was hallucinating. Ben is hard and prickly and abused af and I love him sm (and projected way too much on him lmao). If you’re interested my partner wrote a series of fics on AO3 the Fight For All You Know verse. They know Ben almost as well as I do.

I’m sorry I just love them sm and Ben is so, so close to my heart and I rarely get to talk about him anymore and it makes me sad.
