TravelDiaries: Georgia - The Moody Set, Part 2 This week I’m posting moody shots from my trip around Georgia. Most of the well-known travel photography account on Instagram depict a polished, bright, colourful idea of travelling around the world. While I certainly find these images very appealing and making me want to visit the various destinations, I’m also really fascinated by the “dark” power of Nature, and the drama it can create. I suppose that’s why I’m dedicating these latest posts to very moody shots. The weather up the mountains is ever changing, not only in Georgia, and you can often have “4 seasons in 1 day”. 
Like in the previous photo I posted here, the sky was blue and clear until all of a sudden a thick cloud arrived to surround the high hills I was hiking. In just a few minutes, the visibility went from totally fine to absolute zero. And it became cold. And it started pouring rain… And I was excited. Yeah, ok, still mad at the weather but very excited for the photographic opportunity that were arising. So I shot plenty of photo under the rain, even by a near lake shore which was pretty surreal (and perhaps I’ll post that here too 😉), but it’s when the sky started to clear up again that I took the photo you see here, with the cloud going away and the sun light reappearing again.
