So what if I tell you that no matter how instagrammable other people's travel posts are and no matter how #travelgoals you think they are, traveling still isn't all cloud-nine. From the stages of planning to unpacking things after, you'll encounter challenges that will make it really hard to keep your shit together. One of these challenges is packing. Imagine living out of a suitcase for weeks or months; isn't it such a struggle to fit your whole life in one - or more if you're lucky - luggage? In my new blog post, you'll read about some of the travel essentials that are even recommended by celebrities @saytioco, @alodia, and @joycepring. Link is in my bio so make sure to read, loves! ● Spoiler alert: They all bring @pantenephilippines to their travels to make sure that their hair isn't that vulnerable to sun damage. What are your travel essentials, loves? ● #YoursTrulyMyrra #BeSummerStrong #PantenePH #Pantene #ad #clozetteco #fashion #ootd #fashionblogger #style #instafashion #lookbook #bloggerbandfam #bloggoph #bloggersph #womensfashion #styleblogger #styleblog #outfitoftheday #collabph #pilipinasootd #ootdph #fashiondiaries #styleinspo #travelblog #travelbloggerlife #travelblogph (at Alta Guia)

We Love El Nido!!!
Ang Islang hindi uso ang LIBRE!!!!
Who would have thought na makaka apak kami sa lupa nang El Nido, Palawa?
Honestly, Palawan is not in my Bucket List! but, it’s in my “BAKIT LIST” hahahahaa
not until there was a Seat Sale in Air Asia last June 12, 2016, We booked our tickets right away without letting my statement of account bled…
Imagine, we only payed  Php. 1, 096 for 5 pax so that would be
1,096 / 5 = 219.20 / 220 ROUNDTRIP!!!
YES!  You’ve read it right it only cost us Php 220.00 EACH ROUNDTRIP (MNL -PPS / PPS – MNL).
HOW TO GET HERE:
Option 1: From Manila, there are various Airlines that fly to Puerto Princesa (the capital city of Palawan) Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines and Airasia. Travel time is about an hour.
Upon arrival at Puerto Princesa International Airport, you may opt to take a passenger van to El Nido. Travel Time from Puerto Princesa to El Nido is approximately 5 – 6 hours and the fare is Php. 500.00 per person.
Do you think it is worth the long transit? Well, i would say YES! DEFINITELY YES!!!
Furthermore, there are an ample number of shuttle van services in Puerto Princesa going to El Nido.
or you may also want to ride the RORO BUS Transport (Fare is 290 for aircon, 380 for air conditioned bus) or Cherry Bus. From airport, take a tricycle ride to San Jose Bus Terminal, usually tricycle drivers will ask Php. 120 – 150.00 for the fare, just haggle if you must. 🙂
yan po itsura nung bus 🙂 regular bus po yan meron din po aircon 🙂
their Daily Schedule is
4:00 AM (1st trip)
6:00 AM
8:00AM
10:00AM
12:00 Noon
2:00 PM
4:00PM
6:00PM
8:00PM  (last trip)
For booking & Reservations:
txt / call them at 0920-2870381 / 0905-3155906
Facebook: ROROBUS TRANSPORT SERVICES.
TRAVEL TIP: Fly to Puerto Princesa as early as possible para hindi magaya sa amin na naiwan nang BUS hahahahaha….
Option 2 : Alternatively, there is already a direct flight from Manila to El Nido, Palawan via AirSwift  they have daily roundtrip flights from NAIA 4 to El Nido Airport. I think this would be the most convenient and easiest way if you want to reach El Nido as fast as possible.
WHERE TO STAY?
With the growing popularity of El Nido to both Foreign and Locals, there are already wide selection of hotels and resorts in El Nido which caters the accomodation needs of the tourists.
During our Trip, we stayed at Northern Hope Inn Extension wich is situated at the town proper of El Nido, everything is just a walking distance from restaurants, stores and port  where guests will ride the boats for the Island Hopping Tours.
Northern Hope Tours
Contact #: 09399022216 / 09277353221 / 09423752441
Moreover, it is also a tricycle ride away from the Transportation Terminal and the Public Market.
Our room is a huge room that could comfortably fit 6 people. It has essential amenities needed for a more relax and comfortable stay, such as a private toilet and bath, a flat screen television set with cable channels, air conditioning unit, cabinets and free use of bath towels. and YES! BREAKFAST is included. :)))
THINGS TO DO IN EL NIDO:
For me, there’s no much to do in El Nido to add on your itinerary.
But, for our trip these are the things we’ve done.
Island Hopping with buffet lunch in one ISLAND!!!! :)) (yeay!!!! seafoods overload )
Mag pictorial hahahaha
Actually ito po talaga ang totoong ganap sa El Nido! Pictorial lang po lahat LOL!
Sun bathing, snorkeling, beach bumming and free diving 🙂
pag pasenxahan nyo na po ang tyan nya! hahaha
Walk around the town
Food trip!
Sunset watching at Marimegmeg Beach.
yung totoo? sunset talaga pinunta natin or gusto mo lang talagang umaura? hahahaha.
Souvenir Shopping
WHAT  ARE THE BEST TOUR TO AVAIL?
Actually, wherever you go in El Nido, all tour organizer have the same line up of tours that would be A, B, C and D. As far as I know, the best selling tour is Tour A and C. But in our case since we are staying for 5 days 4 nights, we availed the combo tours with private boat  from Northern Hope Tours, so, that would be Tour A and C then Tour B and D. Then, in our free day we opt to explore Nacpan Beach and Marimegmeg Beach.
**Before I forgot, all tours except for Marimegmeg and Nacpan includes snorkeling gear, life jacket and the heavenly and scrumptious lunch!.
Here is the attractions of every tour:
TOUR A: Seven Commandos, Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon and Shimizu Island.

  LAND TOURS:
If you want to explore some of the mainland beaches you can hire a tricycle for Php.  1,000 – 1,500.00 for a whole day, tricycles are good for 4 people. Our recommendation would be proceed to Nacpan Beach in the Morning (Entrance fee is 100.00 but in our case they only ask us 50 pesos each), trek up on hill at the end of the beach to see the spectacular views of the twin beaches.

There are very few establishments that accept credit card in El Nido. There is no reliable ATMs here. Visitors are advised to bring enough funds for their entire stay in El Nido.
as I have observed there is only 1 bank in El Nido, it’s BPI (Bank of the Philippines Island)
Bring dry bag for your gadgets.
Bring Sports cam or a waterproof camera if you have :))
Bring basic medicines (for pain, fever, cough and colds, anti histamine and such)
Bring mosquito repellant especially if you are stayin in hostels.
Foods in El Nido ranges from Php 150.00 and above.
When visiting Snake Island, avoid bringing foods and drinks as there is monkey that bites and steal foods. The monkey is kinda aggresive.

One of Bali, Indonesia’s most breath-taking sites is the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, which has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a vast expanse of beautifully arranged rice paddies carved from the hillsides by ancient Balinese farmers following the traditional Balinese irrigation system called subak. This just one of the stops of the tour of the Ubud region that Hubby and I went on during our Bali vacay. One of the most breathtakingly beautiful sights I’ve seen during my Bali trip is the Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. Dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu who is said to hold dominion over water, it is marked by spectacular water features (including bathing pools for pilgrims), fountains teeming with carp and lush gardens. It is one of the awesome stops of my day trip to Ubud. Did you know that the Pililla Wind Farm in Barangay Halayhayin, Rizal is the second wind farm in Luzon (the first one is the Bangui Wind Mills in Ilocos Norte)? These set of 27 towering windmills scattered along the hills can generate 54 megawatts of energy, enough to power 66,000 Metro Manila households. Aside from the imposing structures, the site also offers a view of the glittering expanse of Laguna de Bay. The Pililla Windfarm is just one of the awesome sights that will be easily accessible to you if you live in Rizal. Did you know that mid-1892, national hero Dr. Jose Rizal made a stopover at the San Fernando Train Station to recruit members for the La Liga Filipina. Ironically, the train station was designed by Engineer Charles Henry Kipping who ended up marrying Jose Rizal’s childhood love, Leonor Rivera. His visit is commemorated by a statue of the national hero seated on a bench seemingly awaiting his friends or the Kapampangan woman he was rumored to be courting at the time, Rosario Joven. This is among the historic landmarks I visited on a calesa tour of San Fernando, Pampanga that I took with my fellow bloggers a few years ago.
