“The new trend of combining a luxury SUV, like the Genesis GV70, with the glamping lifestyle of iKamper roof-top tents gave us, and the creative team, a lot to talk about and play with…” says Peter Schreiber, director & photographer.

The luxury automobile brand Genesis is a subsidiary of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai and was founded in 2015. The Genesis GV70 is the second SUV after the larger GV80 and is manufactured only in Ulsan, South Korea.

WE! SHOOT IT staged the ŠKODA KODIAQ on location with CGI for Optimist Prague and FCB London

In late summer, the two transportation specialists from WE! SHOOT IT, aka Michael Compensis & Thomas von Salomon – represented by KELLY KELLERHOFF – took a trip to the Netherlands, where they realized campaign motifs for the new ŠKODA KODIAQ in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

“This job was extremely exciting, particularly because the groundbreaking new SUV model from carmaker Škoda became a project in limbo between the old and new lead agencies. In other words : art buying and creation were still in the hands of Optimist Inc. in Prague, while production and shoot support came from the new agency, FCB in London,” the two photographers tell GoSee.

Classic backplates and domes were photographed in numerous locations in the Netherlands, and the car – still top secret at the time of the shoot – was realized with CGI in close cooperation with Aufeer Design Studio in Prague.

 Anton WATTS c/o SEVERIN WENDELER photographed the FERRARI DAYTONA SP3, the ‘Soul of Sport Prototypes,’ as Ferrari refers to the model limited to 599 cars. He photographed the vehicle in action at Nürburgring, the longest permanent racing circuit in the world.

Although inspired by the race cars of the 1960s, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is clothed in modern forms. “Its expressiveness celebrates the volume of the sports prototypes with a contemporary redesign. The overall balance is emphasized by the monolithic appearance of the volumes, which highlights the craftsmanship of the Italian body makers. One has the impression of standing in front of an object in which flowing masses combine with more sharply modulated surfaces in order to create that aesthetic balance that has always characterized the history of the Maranello company,” (Ferrari).

“When I first set foot on the streets of India, I was indeed overwhelmed by what was happening around me. All the action, noises, and smells. It took me three days to get somewhat used to it so much that I was able to not merely enjoy it, but actually zoom in and see what was happening. Since I’m also a passionate street photographer, it felt like there was simply too much to photograph.
