We’re on a roll today besties! (Ignoring the fact I started this drawing about a month and a half ago and it took me until now to want to finish it 🫣).

I’m a bit early for pride stuff, so I’ll hopefully do another pride drawing with my OCs when June hits. Until then, here’s Cassie and Seymour for Pride together!

I need to say also, I originally gave Cassie a shirt with bi stripes and a fuchsia skirt, and then I came back to it another day and hated it, so instead we went with dinosaurs :)

Cassie has the bi flag and Seymour has the pan flag and the demisexual flag. Then, of course, they’re both holding the trans flag.

I love them and am really glad I finally was able to finish this drawing, because I’ve been wanting to finish it for a while but just have been struggling with motivation (until the last one I posted- thank goodness).

HEYO!!! For anyone that has been enjoying Cassidy and Seymour, I have more for you!

So I really enjoyed drawing this and really popped off while doing it in my opinion and am obsessed with literally every part of it, but especially the background because I never draw backgrounds???

I’m gonna add bonus stuff from this drawing under the cut, but seriously, this is one of my favorite things I’ve ever drawn, and I enjoyed every part of the process.

So, the first thing I want to show off is the background I drew, because first off, this drawing wasn’t even supposed to have a background. I had no intention going into it to give it a background, and then it got to what Cassidy was sitting on, and suddenly I had a bathroom.

This is assuming the two would be young adults and living together, either in or after college, so they have the two toothbrushes by the sink, and the picture on the wall is meant to be the program from A Midsummer Nightmare About Zombies, because I imagine they’d keep it.

Next I’m gonna share the sketch, lineart, and flats, to help show you my process!

I was incredibly happy with the sketch. I wanted to make it really tender and sweet, because this is Stagedorks, and I wanted to make them seem like they were adults here, which I think I succeeded at. I also wanted to make this seem like it was routine by this point, so rather than making Cass seem squeamish (my original plan), I decided to make her more comforted by the fact that Seymour is helping her.

I’m so happy with the drawing, and the story I’m telling with it, and I’m so excited to share.

Hello, friends! I’ve got three drawings for you today!

First, we’ve got my design for transmasc Christine Canigula from Be More Chill, who I’ve decided to name Seymour Canigula!

Second, we’ve got my design for transfem Jeremy Heere from Be More Chill, who I’ve decided to name Cassidy Heere!

Finally, we’ve got a traditional drawing of the two of them sharing a kiss, because I like drawing kisses, and they’re my everything right now!

Musicalgeeks (aka transfem Jeremy/transmasc Christine) (aka Seymour/Cassidy) posting!

One year for Halloween fairly early on, Seymour suggests they do prince and princess, and Cassie is immediately on board and it takes a bit of trial and error but Cassie sees herself in her dress with her hair styled really beautifully and she just feels really pretty, and Seymour tells her she’s always been pretty, and it’s a sweet moment and I love them.

First off, my friend came up with the ship name idea of musicalgeeks, and I really like it, so I’m gonna start tagging posts about them with that (as well as stagedorks)!

Second off, I have some headcanons for you :)

(Feel free to add your own in the notes! I love hearing from everyone about these two!)

This starts in their senior year of high school

Seymour is the first one to realize he’s trans and talk about it

Seymour also goes from she/her to he/they to he/him

Cass realizes she’s trans because Seymour kind of presents that as an option

She’s super in denial though until she impulsively asks to try on one of Seymour’s dresses or skirts and is shocked to find how right wearing it feels

Their first couple’s costumes out are based off of the characters they named themselves after

Seymour has a pretty similar style once he looks enough like a boy in his eyes because he likes dressing femininely as long as he’s not perceived as a girl.

Seymour also loves overalls

Cass also dresses more femininely

Seymour doesn’t bind, because while he doesn’t like his chest, binding makes him more dysphoric because he feels it makes his chest look more obvious

While Seymour is the first to come out, Cass is the first to start HRT

By the time they’re starting HRT they’re definitely in college and share an apartment

Cass hates needles, but hates pills more (for obvious reasons), so decides to do injections, as long as Seymour is willing to help

Seymour plays Romeo at some point after his transition and jokes constantly that he loves Shakespeare so much he played Romeo and Juliet

Cass absolutely loves when Seymour braids her hair

Their friends are very supportive of their transitions

So are their families

They of course live happily ever after

Seymour cuts his hair short

Seymour doesn’t fully vibe with the term “man”

Like Seymour is a boy and a dude and a guy but he’s not a man

(He’s not a trans man but he is transmasculine)

Cass loves the term girlfriend

Seymour likes both boyfriend and partner

Cass uses she/they pronouns
