im like.... The biggest hyorocrite in the transformers fandom.

i hate Megastar (Megatron x Starscream), I even got the tags blocked.

Yet I ship Megatron x Optimus and Starscream x Bee,, like those aren't better than Megastar.😭😭😭

I'm the king of transformers hypocrisy now. Nobody shall take my crown from me. Thank you...

Nobody asked but I'm going to say it anyway.

The reason I've never been interested in Megop is not because I don't like the ship (specifically now that I've watched TF One), the real reason is the over-infantilization of Optimus/Orion Pax.

For some reason this fandom likes to infantilize him and that always bothered me. I don't have a problem with different interpretations in ships, fics and AUs, but I always found it strange that OP is always presented as extremely innocent on a childish level.

Like, he's practically a grown man and acts like one in EVERY continuity! Yeah, in the Aline continuity it says in the books that he was shy and awkward before becoming a Prime, but that's not the same as "uwu gay boy"!

This honestly turned me off a lot from the ship, SPECIFICALLY Prime Megop!

Can we have like, Megop but both act like adults?? Can we just have the ship where Optimus acts like a mature and serious character??

Again, nothing against reinterpretations, I just think this infantilization of the OP is very pointless and almost kind of ruins the ships involving him(yeah, that goes for other ships involving him too!)

It's ok to make him awkward and shy, we've seen that in Animated and Cyberverse and it works really well! But please, can we stop with the infantilization? This is getting to a point where it's uncomfortable!

For those who are disappointed in the trailer for the movie coming out in September….

It’s okay not to like it, but it’s not okay to wine and wine about it.

Grow up, shut up and move on. We get enough negativity already with what’s happening in the world right now.

You should be more worried about a possible WORLD WAR HAPPENING! Or your family!

So, put on your big girl/boy pants and go see “The Wild Robot” instead, no one gives a crap if you see “Transformers One” or not!

This man enrages me every time a new Transformers movie comes out that isn’t made by Micheal Bay, he NEEDS to learn that not every movie has to connect back to the bayverse.

He’s recently made a claim that Transformers One is a prequel to the Micheal Bay films, which it isn’t

First off the whole of Cybertron looks nothing like it does in the bay films. In One it looks like a planet you can actually live in, also there is a whole surface area which doesn’t exist in the Micheal Bay films.

What could be the Quintessons in Age Of Extinction once again look completely different.

Sentinel Prime, Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, especially Elita look different

Also in the Bayverse comics Elita, Optimus, and Megatron are said to be followers of Sentinels teachings. Doesn’t look like sentinel’s gonna teach much in One getting tied up by the Quintesson.

It’s the same thing with Rise of the Beast Lorenzo claimed it was a part of the Bayverse continuity even though there were glaring continuity errors. The biggest one being the planet eater Unicron. In The Last Knight Unicron is the earth in Rise of the Beasts his floating somewhere is space eating planets.

I saw a video by emperor kumkwat on YouTube that said that the original 2007 spotlight arcee comic was “transphobic” for the stupidest reason.

emperor kumkwat said that it was “transphobic” because of the fact that arcee had her gender changed against her will. Apparently it was “making transitioning look scary” and “could damage people’s ideas of trans people”.

it was only the fact that it was done to arcee against her will that made it scary. If she wanted it, it would have seemed less scary. Anything can be scary if it is done to you against your will. And I don’t know how that comic would turn people transphobic? Anybody who reads it will probably know not to judge people who want it willingly. The comic isn’t telling people to hate them.

I couldn’t blame Simon furman for hating the female transformers when they first became a thing. The original ones were these 3 identical looking transformers that all acted the same and were much shorter than the male transformers. Female transformers are cool now, but not back in the 80s lol.

so ive started reading the IDW comics bc i wanted to get more into transformers. but see i cant just start in phase 2 with lost light and the wreckers and all that, like i NEED to read phase 1 first even if it’s not actually necessary. just for my own satisfaction yk? now the issue is everyone on my dash keeps talking about lost light and their blorbos and what not and i wanna interact with all of it BUT ITS SO FAR FROM WHERE I AM IN THE SERIES THAT I BARELY EVEN UNDERSTAND ANY OF IT

As someone who has never watched Transformers Victory, allow me to say that IDW’s portrayal of Star Saber suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.  Like I get it, in Victory he was a squeaky clean do gooder, and perfect characters without flaws aren’t as interesting. But tbh, that don’t mean you gotta make him a religious nut.  As much shit as I fling Getaway’s way, at the very least he had some potential for a compelling villian-potential that was wasted, but still. This version of Star Saber had none of that.

I don’t post a lot of TFP rents and opinions in this blog but RAFAEL IS A FRAGGING CHAD MAN.

He is a super genius, and he is just SO CHILL ABOUT THE WHOLE THING!

I would straight up drink from the sewer to get his attitude. He can just straight up diffuse a nuclear bomb from his own bed and goes, “Sweet, now anything else I can help with?”

Somehow someway this kid beats alien robots with millions of years of trainings and just like “Oh yeah I did it. So what? You can be one too I bet if you just like try enough.” He could be tasked with the weight of the world in his shoulder and still be: “Yeah just give me like two hours and some cookies. And do you mind if I play my lofi music out loud?”

I hate it when people portray Rafael as some sort of nerdy shy little kid. Sure that’s a cute take but the Raf I know is the most gorgeous chad in the world and he’s only twelve! And not only that he’s been hit by dark Energon and got his organs crisped up! He’s almost stabbed and burned and torn. And he’s hacked into government FBI Pentagon Nemisis who knew how many entities! And yet the only time we ever see Raf truly having a stress meltdown is when Jack and Miko is having an argument.

At this point if Rafael will get any gifted child burnout he’s gonna chant “Nooooo I’ll become like Fowler at this rate! Or worse! Like the FBI!”

So imma do it- HOWEVER. It won't be in the main DeceptiBee au. I might not even write it. But I will DRAW IT. Probably.

You can keep reading the DeceptiBee au and be assured that Bee won't die- but when that fic is done I might do an alternate ending with it where Bee does die- like a series.

But i'll write it in a way You don't need to read the previous fic to understand what's happening. That first chapter is gonna recap and compress the story and it won't reff the previous fic other than 'Bee was a decepticon who died'

I guess that Au would be called 'SecondBee au' or 'TwoBees au' since theres another one. idk i'm bad at names.

So about this Au, it's in the tfone continuity. Where Bee choose to follow megatron when he got banished. He died. War raged on and then another Bee is forged right before Primus peaces out. And then a lot of bad things happen to him C:

I don't remember which continuity Tfone is attached to (it can't be the bayverse don't lie to yourself) but Imma say that the endgame to this is Earthspark (because it's the happiest ending we're getting so far) so I might even write to that part because since new bee and megatron are on the same side now I smell some good sad times.

What do we think? does any of this make sense to yous?

I get that people want to separate the prick prowl from tfa prowl but gah dAYUM let's not pretend that his personality is a face-first stop at him having a cop car as an alt. Let's take a moment to appreciate how deep his personality runs and how the writers write him. He's got depth 20 feet deep and people need to appreciate that instead of stopping at Prick Cop end of story. Because that's where the story begins! Don't be a pussy! Venture further, read about him, and take a moment to appreciate the character analysis writings people give him! You can still hate him, but hate him and understand that there's more of him!

Can we talk about this Rescue Bots episode (Spellbound) because I need to appreciate how TERRIFYING it is??? Especially considering it's cannon in the Aligned Universe. This is some A+ horror.

Like damn, some of Griffin Rock's technology is more powerful than even the Decepticon's tech.

Can you IMAGINE if those creepy mind-control cell phones were used in TFP?

Legit mind control that effects humans AND Cybertronians?

And it's SO UNSETTLINGLY subtle, too. The victim's voices sound like their normal selves but just SLIGHTLY off. *shutter* The voice actors did such a good job.

I feel like Optimus would probably be immune (because the Matrix of Leadership is goated) but can you imagine the Jasper Trio getting mind-controlled, and all their guardians + Ratchet know SOMETHING is off, but not what? Then, slowly, the mind control spreads to the Bots? Or vice versa, the Bots go first, and the humans are like: "Something's up with my guardian."

Kinda wild that Invasion of the Body Snatchers shit 100% exists in TFP's world. Felt like I needed to acknowledge that.

Is this gonna be my next TFP headcanons post? Feeling inspired.🤔

I’m devastated that Dinoking is a Con exclusive. Like, no deadass Dinoking’s first toy was in 1989 in the victory line and tv show wanna know how long it’s been since his last toy 35 years.

Now imagine being a fan of this character, and remember it’s a Japanese exclusive character, so most of their possible fans are Japanese.

They can’t get the new figure of a Japan exclusive character because it’s being exclusively sold at an American Con for like a week.

I definitely think we might see a Takara recolor of Dinoking in the same vain as the beast wars figures with more show accurate paint jobs. Please I want him so bad.
