most people barely seem to want to write a singular post in a week, so idk why you're expecting someone to write the exponentially larger amount of words for any half-decent site lore in even less time, unless you're actively wanting ai slop of course. but I also think you are vastly overestimating the amount of time involved writing stuff down compared to all the time and work that goes into making all those fancy custom skins with all the modern bells and whistles people expect since otherwise no one will join because "you're using the same ugly premade everyone uses." // except those dingdongs will post snippets of their skin thats now done and operational but theyre still working on the "bugs" aka site lore because thats soooo difficult. yeah these troglodytes cant string together sentences enough to write more than one post a week which is a tragedy. why the fuck are resource sites only focused on graphics, put out writing resources to encourage these lazy asses. no one is writing new york times bestsellers on forum rp anyway

i cant speak for everyone but at this point graphics is not my main draw to an rp site. i'd even discord rp if the discord rp was good. not one-liners nor 500w paragraphs, no graphics-centric profile making, just some simple rules, a light system and an attractive setting with potential for philosophical ideas/challenges would do it for me. // make rp about writing again rather than about aesthetic and popularity contest

betas and softopenings need to die. as does preannouncing sites three months in advance. what the fuck people, youre not squareenix. writing down all the basic information shouldnt take more than a week much less three months, and we dont need beta periods because shock and awe you can change whatever shit on the go because this isnt some paid product that releases as-is

since people were talkin about it. what're the thoughts on the few interest checks? thought maybe we'd given up on "beta tests" or wtvs / it'd be fine if people actually followed through. most of the interest checks posted get hype, and then get lost to time because the creator doesn't post an update for months on end. or people post in the "sites that you want to see" topic and never follow through. people want to see stuff but don't want to take the effort. rpc has become lazy.
