My friends @serotoninisheldinkiwis, @cell113, and I have been brainstorming a fan continuity that we're calling "The Whispered World". The basic gist is that the bots are a bit terrified by the only other living species they have met in their travels searching for the allspark, and so they try their best to hide on Earth. But they're pretty bad at it for various reasons, and they become somewhat of an urban legend and the humans start to become aware of them, but in a "mysterious creatures that are definitely some flavor of supernatural" way.

It doesn't help that both species think each other is whacky as hell. The humans can tell that something is off with the bots, they can feel fields like an electric storm overhead and they have a very distinct unearthly smell to them. And Bee is endlessly frustrated that the humans can always tell he's a "visitor" no matter what alt he takes.

The humans call the bots "visitors" and give them all nicknames. When the Decepticons show up, some of them also get called visitors, but the more violent ones get dubbed "intruders". The humans can't really tell factions bc everyone is in alt, but they just go off of how the aliens act. It's pretty cute.

Miko is terrified of bugs, especially spiders, because she thinks they're creepy and gross

Jack is terrified of bugs, especially spiders, because Arachnid.

Raf thinks they're creepy but isn't really scared of them unless they're on his leg or something

Ratchet nearly has a spark attack when Raf tells him how damn expensive his glasses are, which then brings June into a whole rant about expensive medical situations and needs

a bit angsty, but I was also thinking of Bulkhead having some sort of digital collection of all the drawings Miko made for him when he leaves :(

Ratchet is the only person who's seen Optimus break down

i've debated if Jack could also see Optimus falter, maybe accidentally stumbling upon him somewhere in the base

i thought that Jack would be the most concerned and understanding, but honestly i think any of the humans in the group would be that way

Bumblebee has dreams he can talk sometimes, and when he wakes up there's a split second where he believes his voice box is fixed

Fowler snores really fucking loud

i also think June and Fowler would be a sweet couple, they start dating

I love how you draw the 13 as orbs and how they'll nudge Optimus at times! XD Though I do have a quick question about that(sorry if this has been asked before) but...can others see them? For example: when Optimus is badly hurt and when someone comes to visit they could see the orbs floating around their resting Prime.

and to answer your question: it really depends.

tldr: they can... if the primes want them to.

visually manifesting doesn't come naturally for them, like speaking to optimus through the matrix does, and it takes active effort and energy for them to keep it up.

and visually manifesting to others is a whole another level of effort for them! they can do it, but it will be hard and exhausting and it won't last long and most of them time isn't really worth it because they still can't communicate easily with anyone that isn't optimus (or elita and bee).

it's marginally easier as sparks, but it's still not easy if you get what i mean.

there are times where it's useful tho! mostly when they need to grab someone's attention quickly or if they need them to go to Optimus for some reason. more than once they've scared the shit out of ratched by appearing out of nowhere and leading him to OP after a battle 🤭

but overall if you can see the primes it's normally a sign that something isn't right. because it means that they want to tell you something and they don't have optimus to do it for them.

hi, just wanna say I love “The Lost Prime” fic!! I have a small question though: did Sentinel remove Optimus/Orion’s t-cog from his chassis when he kidnapped him, or did he let him keep it?

To answer your question, Optimus/Orion still has his t-cog. HOWEVER! That doesn't mean Sentinel didn't try to get rid of it. Let's just say it didn't work out, and he resorted to another method…

And I won't say more because, well, spoilers. Have no fear! All shall be revealed soon!
