[pt: milieugender /end pt]

an umbrella term for all people who transition in a way that is perceived to align with their birth sex, whether or not it actually does; alternatively, a person who's gender is perceived to align with their birth sex, who is also trans. e.g, a trans girl who is also BAF, or a transmasc who is also BAM. this also includes transfemmasc folk if they feel it fits.

this is an alternative to the labels pacegender, circumgender, afab transfem, and amab transmasc, and also covers all of them! i.e. you can use milieugender to refer to all of the previous labels. it also refers to baf trans women and bam trans men.

this is a reworking of the milieugender post, along with a flag that i feel is more similar to the trans flag!

a term describing someone who is both transfeminine and transmasculine, who's equal parts feminine and masculine. someone who is transuterque finds their masculinity and femininity to have an equal amount of importance. this level of identification or importance is not specified, it is only specified that they are equal.

in other words, this is an alternative to transfemmasc/transmascfem. it is made for those who are uncomfortable placing their femininity before their masculinity (or vice versa) and hold them to equal importance.

reworkings of my cosmos trans flags, as i feel their colors were rather displeasing. in order of left to right, they are: transfeminine, transneutral, transmasculine, transnull, transfemmasc, and transgender. the meanings of the flags are the same as before.

lots of yapping, just fair warning

my cosmos trans flags were an attempt to offer trans flags that didnt have connotations about one's birth sex, and that anyone could use, irregardless of sex. thst means these flags are inclusive of all trans people; milieugender and non-milieugender folk alike.

i first made these because i disidentified with honeybee transfem. as far as i could tell, the flags had no meaning, and neither did the signifier of "honeybee." i liked the idea, though, because i disliked the idea of calling attention to my birth sex.

i chose "cosmos" to denote the vastness of transness, of gender, and the multiple ways to be trans, and the infinite possibilities of transgenderness and gender. i also chose "cosmos" as a signifier because just like how space is vast, the capabilities of the trans community are vast.

"cosmos" here is a signifier denoting two things; 1. that transness is vast, infinite, personal, and beautiful, irregardless of quality or sex, and 2. that transness should not be boiled down to birth sex and that i do not owe you information regarding my birth sex. these cosmos trans flags are not for those who are trans and spacegender.

while the honeybee and coffeebean terms are important to our community, important to milieugender folk, and are beautiful and great terms, my cosmos terms and flags still hold a special place in my heart. i continue to use them to this day; however, i have now become displeased with the flags, resulting in the remakes you see here. i think the colors flow way more cohesively now, and i'm pretty proud of them!

you can still use the old ones, if you'd prefer. i just wanted to offer flags that i personally thought were more visually appealing and pleasing.
